Testing leave scenario without using ESS & using a copied workflow

Hi all,
How can I create a leave request without using ESS (For testing leave scenario).
If we want to use some copied workflow in place of standard workflow, where can we give that workflow number in IMG settings.

I have one doubt.
Approver will get sms for all employees who have applied for leave and when the approver will approve/reject the application how can we identify for which employee he has approved/rejected the leave. As we don't have anything in sms to keep track of the employee. So we need 2 pass something, like unique workflow ID with the sms so that it will return to that particular WF and complete it.
Can you tell me the way. how I can do this. Is there something like WF id n how can I get this... Is thr any RFC to get the same?

Problem with File RFC File scenario without using BPM

Hi all,
I am trying a File RFC File scenario without using BPM with the help of the following thread:
File - RFC - File without a BPM - Possible from SP 19.
The XI system is PI 7.0 sp 12. When I am trying to acheive the above scenario, I am getting wierd results i.e., when I observe in SXI_MONITOR, the message is showing as processed successfully, but when I watch the message status in communication channel monitoring, I am getting the following error:
"Attempt to process file failed with com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.CPAException: Couldn't retrieve inbound binding for the given P/S/A values: FP=;TP=;FS=DEV120;TS=Test_Service;AN=MI_Invoice;ANS=urn:sap.com:test;"
I am not able to understand what the problem is. By the way, one more thing, is, I have kept the File processing mode as "Delete" in the sender file adapter. But the file is not getting deleted. I think the reason could be because of the above error.
Can any body help me out in getting my problem resolved?

Execution of Coded UI scripts with least possible test execution time in Windows7 Operating system using Visual Studio Test Agent 2010 without VS2010 installed

We are trying to execute coded UI scripts without Visual Studio installed. We are using “Visual Studio Test Agent 2010” for executing coded UI scripts without VS2010 in Windows 7, it is working fine. Also we verified executing the same script with VS2010
Premium, it works fine as well.
Here the challenge we are facing is with the Test execution time.
When we run the coded UI script with IE11-Windows 7 OS-Visual Studio 2010 Premium it takes
3min 36sec to complete the execution whereas with IE11-Windows 7 OS-Visual Studio Test Agent 2010 it takes
6min 40sec for the same script to execute (which is almost double the time it takes while executing using VS2010).
My question is what may be the reason for this difference? and how we can reduce the test execution time when running from Test Agent 2010?
Kindly let us know what is the best practice to execute the coded UI scripts with least test execution time in Windows 7 Operating system using Visual Studio Test Agent 2010 without VS2010
installed.

As you mentioned, we tried to execute the coded UI test using Mstest.exe in command on VS2010 Premium and checked on the execution
time, there was a slight difference.
Please find below execution time.
Using Mstest.exe in command on VS2010 Premium/Win7 – 3.47 minutes
Using VS2010 Premium/Win7 – 3.53 minutes
Using Test Agent/Win7 – 7.3 minutes
Also, I closed all the other processes in Task manager before starting up the execution.
Still , I am facing the same Issue. Could you please suggest any other way to reduce the scripting time of coded UI script execution
through Test agent 2010.

Server 2012 R2 SMB - The process cannot access the file '\\server\share\test.txt' because it is being used by another process.

Hi,
We are having issues with Server 2012 R2 SMB shares.
We try to write some changes to a file, but we first create a temporary backup in case the write fails. After the backup is created we write the changes to the file and then we get an error:
The process cannot access the file '\\server\share\test.txt' because it is being used by another process.
It looks like the backup process keeps the original file in use.
The problem doesn't always occur the first time, but almost everytime after 2 or 3 changes. I have provided some code below to reproduce the problem, you can run this in a loop to reproduce.
The problem is that once the error arises, the file remains 'in use' for a while, so you cannot retry but have to wait at least several minutes.
I've already used Process Explorer to analyze, but there are no open file handles.
To reproduce the problem: create two Server 2012 R2 machines and run the below code from one server accessing an SMB share on the other server.
Below is the code I use for testing, if you reproduce the scenario, I'm sure you get the same error.
We are not looking for an alternative way to solve this, but wonder if this is a bug that needs to be reported?
Anybody seen this behavior before or know what's causing it?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to make the Workflow Tasks work out with a pre-determined due date that it's 2 days from today in your client list workflow.
I recommend that you can create this client list workflow as below in your environment.
Then, you can go to “Start Options” to check “Start workflow automatically when an item is created”, publish this workflow and test if it works.
When an new item is added in the client list, its corresponding Workflow Task is shown as below:

We can test the Scenarios in ID by Test Configuration tool.
Whether this message can seen in integration Monitoring
SXMB_MONI ? i'm not able to find it.
is their any other way to test the scenario using XML payload and to get the message in SXMB_MONI i.e INTEGRATION SERVER.
i also found in RUNTIME workbench there is option of TEST MESSAGE here also i've sent the message by inserting the payload in the payload editor , but i'm not able to find any logs .
is their any other ways ,please guide me.

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. My wife has a laptop and an iphone 4s, I have a laptop and and iphone 4s, our two sons have our old iphone 3s, we have an old laptop for our sons to use. Our old iphones for our sons are deactivated as phones - so they are used as i-touches for songs, pictures and aps. I want to use icloud (which I'm new to) to hopefully have all four iphones and all three computers stay synced with at least music - if not aps and pictures. My wife has an apple ID and I have one. I'd like to authorize all three laptops for both apple IDs so that we will still have our own accounts, but everything either of us buys will be automatically loaded into all three laptops and all four iphones. Can this be done?

The first message that AirPort Utility will display during the auto setup will be that the Express will be confgured to "extend" the network. When AirPort Utility analyzes the network further, and sees that the Express cannot "extend" the 3rd party network, the next message will indicate that the Express is being configured to "join" the wireless network.
Once the Express is configured, if you later go into AirPort Utility to check the settings under the Wireless tab, you will see that the Wireless Mode is indeed "Join a wireless network".

Making a new Apple ID was the worst thing you could of done. This is very bad to do. Not sure why people do that. Your Apple ID is Your Apple ID. You only need one and it is best to only have one Apple ID for all apple devices.

Hello all, l have a question that relates to air play and my ipad 4.
ls there a way to send music to multiple airplay speakers with my ipad 4 without having to use itunes as the master controller on my other PC. l know it is possible with itunes, but surely the ipad should be able to play to more than one airplay device at a time, we are living in the year 2013.
Is there an alternative and if there is not, could someone please explain or point me in the wright direction why it is so!
