The app store won't let me get a game because it says i'm out of space when i checked and i have enough

the app store wont let me download an app it says i'm out of storage when I checked the game takes 1.6 and i have 2.4

You need to free up more storage space. To download and install an app it take between two and three times the file download size. You need between 3.2 and 4.8 free.

If anyone has any help please help!My vine got felted and I didn't do it and the App Store won't let me re-download it

What happens when you try to redownload by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • App Store will not let my re download games because I never had money in my account

App Store won't let me re download a buy I have already brought but I try to buy something and I never had the money on my credit card now I can not download something I already brought without doing credit card Agean but when I do it says I don't have enough money but I already have it I just wanna redownload it

If you tried to buy something and did not have the money, your Apple ID will
be disabled. You need to resolve the problem before you can download anything
    including apps you previously had.

  • TS1702 I restored my iPod touch 1st generation and the App Store won't let me download apps I previously had.

I got an iPod touch 1st generation and downloaded loads of apps, some paid some free. A few weeks ago I restored the iPod touch and when I went to download apps that I had already owned it said I needed a newer iOS.  It says I need iOS 4.3 and I have iOS 4.2.1 and when i tried to update it says I have no software updates.

Do you have any of those apps saved on your computer, in iTunes?
It is true that your 1st generation iPad is already now running the highest version of iOS it can. It cannot be updated further.  If the developer has pulled the older versions of their apps and now only offers versions requiring iOS 5 or 6 then you will not be able to run those apps any longer (unless you kept backup copies of the older versions in iTunes on your computer).
Developers determine what version(s) of their apps are in the App Store. As many have updated their apps to take advantage of the enhancements in iOS 6 , they've pulled their older versions and no longer support them.

  • The app stor won't let me install any app at all on my iPad 2?

I have tried to install apps on my iPad 2. I press on the install app , I put in my password then nothing happens it just goes back to normal and doesn't install the app. Can any one help. It does it with every app I try to install

On your iPad go to Settings > General > About and see if the available space agrees with what iTunes reports. There is a long standing bug in iTunes that inaccurately reports free space on an iDevice. I currently see a 1.4 GB difference between my iPhone and what iTunes reports and I've seen much worse. Sometimes a restore from a backup will help. Also, how much room is occupied by "other"?

      Kernel Version:
    Darwin 10.8.0

Not sure whether I'm pre 2007 - don't see anything in "About" - anything in system info that tells you?

  • My app store won't let me download none of the older versions of apps for my ipod touch 2g.

My app store won't let me download any of the older versions of an app, but in my sisters case she can and she has an ipod touch 2g just like me. She was able to download kik, twitter, instagram, and some more apps that told me I had to have ios 4.3.1 or higher to download. and theres only one app I want and its kik, can someone help me figure out whats wrong with my app store, it would be a great help.

Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

How do I remove my credit card from my account and still download free apps? because that card is no more good anymore the App Store will not let me download any apps . I no longer have a credit or debit card.so PLS help

On your iPad tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. Or on your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should also be a payment link.
Changing payment info : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID)
If you don't get the 'none' option on the payment details screen : Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information?

You need to check to make sure you are actually connected to the network.  Tap Settings > WiFi >and then tap the blue ">" next to the network name with checkmark.  You should see a complete set of IP address but if the router didn't issue you an IP address properly, you will see your touch IP address start with 169.x.  If this is the case, you are connected to the internal network but not to the web.
First thing to do (while you are on that screen) is tap "Forget Network".  Then turn WiFi off.  Turn it back on and, if needed, tap Other and re-enter your network information.  If you continue to have problems, check with your IT department on Monday.
In the meantime, your laptop and iTunes can be used to purchase apps and music.  Syncing them with your touch is a great way to get them installed while you are waiting for the answer on your WiFi problem.

You need to first install the OS your Mac came on the bundled gray disks. Assuming it's Snow Leopard, you could then login into the App Store using your same Apple ID and password to download and install Lion.
If your Mac is a bit older and came with Leopard, 10.5.x, you can bypass that and install Snow Leopard from your retail disk. The only software you'd need to install separately from the gray disks would be the optional software, such as the iLife suite and other titles not included on the retail SL disk.
