The Drive carriage in my Envy All-in-One will vibrate and make a "Buzzing" noise. I can stop the noise temporarily by pushing in on the drive. The noise always returns.

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to install successfully on your Windows 8.1 with your Officejet 4500 Wireless. I can see that the installation quits on you, giving you an error message. I am going to recommend trying a couple of things to hopefully make the installation successful.
1. First of all, try installing by using The Printer Install Wizard for Windows which finds the correct driver for your unit and installs it.
2. If that does not work, please try this next troubleshooting document step by step.

I live out in the county where WiFi is not available. I don't have internet either. I have purchased the ipad2 and have been told that I can print from the ipad2 directly to the HP Officejet Pro 8500A eprint all-in-one. Is that true?

I would like to be able to print from my ipad2 or my iphone4 directly to a wireless printer. I don't have WiFi at home or internet. I am able to get my emails and use the internet thru both these at home. Will I be able to use them to print? Any suggestions which printer? I was told that the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A eprint all-in-one should work and wouldn't have to use a router. I don't want to go purchase this and try to set it up if it won't work thru the 3G network.

Wireless printing problem with HP Envy all-in-one 110 when running Mac OS 10.7

I just bought the HP Envy all-in-one 110. I have a Macbook Air running IS 10.7. I managed to install the software correctly and the wirless network light is showing on the printer. I ran a test page from the printer and all the settings say they are "enabled." But I still can't get the printer to print over the wireless network. When I plugged in a USB cable, I managed to get it to print. I have a wireless router running over the Sonic.net DSL network. Network strength is good. I've switched off and restarted all equipment several times but still no results. Help!

I believe the router may not support Multicasting, a network protocol used for Apple's Bonjour service to operate as it should.
Will be helpful to know the exact router brand and model.
As a workaroung, you may try setting the printer by using standard IP, it should allow you to print, however the router issue (more likely) have to be handled first to allow the full software functionality including scanning.
Follow the steps below to set an IP print queue, it will also help to better understand the cause for the problem:
Enter System Preferences > Print & Scan.
Click the plus sign.
Click the IP icon.
Select the HP Jetdirect Socket protocol.
Enter the printer IP address into the Address field
Now try printing using the newly created print queue, listed as the printer IP address.

HP - 23" Touch-Screen TouchSmart All-In-One Computer - 8GB Memory - 2TB Hard Drive ? I used a HDMI to HDMI cable and the monitor was not recognized.

Here are the specs for your HP TouchSmart 520-1070 Desktop Computer. As previously stated your computer Doesn't have a HDMI output, instead it has a HDMI input. This is designed to let you connect a game console, a DVD/Bluray player, etc. to use as a monitor.
If you wish to conect a second monitor to your computer, you will need to use a USB-to-video adapter such as the EVGA UV Plus+ UV39 or EVGA UV Plus+ UV19. Using an adapter like these with the touch feature of your computer may cause issues with pointer control and you may need to disable the touch feature to use "extended desktop".

Some problems can indeed be fixed this way. But working from Recovery_HD or Disk Warrior DVDs and working in the restricted environment those provide can be difficult. You can literally spend days working on this problem (while your regular work is unavailable) only to discover the old drive is unsalvageable.
There is no way to know up front whether you are facing a major Hardware failure or a minor software glitch, or something in between. Often you are forced to work from the drive you no longer trust. I continue to recommend you do this work from a different, fully functioning Mac OS X booted from a different drive.
If you have had the foresight to (as The hatter often recommends) clone your virgin install onto another drive for use in such situations, you will be able to recover from such problems in record time. If not, my previous recommendations stands:
Buy a new Drive. Or two. Install Mac OS X from scratch on a new drive, and get your Mac running again. Later, you can use the full power of Mac OS X to attempt to rescue your data, if needed. Then Zero the old drive, to see if it can hold data again reliably.
If the old drive eventually provides some needed data, and is salvageable, Merry Christmas.

Connecting a second monitor to an Envy All-In-One

Please excuse my ignorance on this topic in advance.
I just purchased an HP Envy All-In-One. Model 23o014; Product F3E94AA#ABA. I'm running Windows 8.1. I'm very happy with my purchase so far.
I also purchased an AOC E2470Sw monitor and would like to connect this as a second monitor to the All-In-One.
The AOC monitor has a VGA(? - 15 pin connector) connection), but also has two HDMI inputs. I THOUGHT (with concurrence from my distracted salesman) that I could connect the two using the HDMI connectors on both machines, but I'm getting a blank screen on the AOC when I try it.
What am I doing wrong?

The HDMI connector on the base is an input,not an output. For a second monitor, you would need to go with a USB to video adapter.

HP Envy All-in-One Missing Parts

My fiance just bought me the HP Envy all-in-one desktop computer. He was going to set it up for me yesterday and noticed it's missing the dongle for the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. Has anyone else had this issue after purchasing this product?
We got it from our local Best Buy store and it was in a sealed box so we know it wasn't a returned product. Our store only has 1 left at least from what we saw on the shelves and hope they can fix our issue today.

Dongle is a small USB part and found near the keyboard or mouse box. Sometimes inside the keyboard and mouse (In a dongle housing, you would find a pocket/socket where it can be stored.)
Refer documentation to locate the dongle or call HP.

The fax function on my c7280 all-in-one printer ceased working since installing windows 8....?

Product: hp photosmart c7280 all-in-one printer,fax, copier,scanner. I recently bought a new desktop (lenovo) with windows 8 pre installed. My printer prints, scans and copies but now refuses to fax. The compatibility centre for windows 8.1 tells me that my printer is compatible with the new os and na action is required...Any suggestions??? Tks

I read about how you can no longer fax after upgrading to Windows 8. I have a couple of my own suggestion that might help!
1. Uninstall the Printer Software
2. Restart the PC
3. Reinstall the driver for Windows 8 here: HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers
Also, try the troubleshooting steps from this guide: Cannot Send or Receive Faxes
If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you, such as a replacement or trade in. Same here. My computer was "born on" Aug 13th, 2014, so today it's exactly only 2 months old. Since Windows 8 was so sluggishly slow i decided i was going to wipe the drive and install Linux. I had already been successful doing the exact same thing with a new HP laptop about 1 year ago.. it also was a Windows 8 preloaded machine, so i am very aware of the UEFI "Secure Boot" methodology and what it took to disable secure boot mode and enable legacy mode. I am happy to say that laptop ran Linux beautifully and without any issues. So now, i have the HP AIO 19-2113w machine preloaded with Windows 8.1, which has been wiped. I have converted the GPT to MBR and attempted to disable secure boot mode and enable "legacy mode". The Legacy mode option says i must first disable secure boot mode, which i've done several times. (When restarting after doing so, i get a prompt to type in the 4 digits on the screen and press enter, which i've done several times now). Going back into bios after doing this... i STILL can't get past the "You must disable secure boot mode before using this option... blah blah.". So i decided to look up if there were any lawsuits against Microsoft and/or HP reguarding UEFI bootloading issues, and there are. Right now i am sitting on a 2 month old computer with NO operating system and no recovery partition. The money i spent on this computer could have gone towards a different brand, such as an Asus which has never given me trouble. You guys need to contact me ASAP with a fix, or you'll get plenty of free negative advertising.

I have also turned the system off, for a period of time, and then turning it back on, when I click on Aperture, it comes up and locks in the thumbnail mode. I can view my stored pictures, even modify them, but it still says thumbnails.
I got in this mode by trying to import "one jpeg photo", from a scanned slide using a Nikon Scan4 IS5000ED scanner. I had saved the scan to my desktop before I tried to import it.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

There is NO need to put your whole questing in the "Questing Heather" therefore you can TYPE here. In the Text window as I did to.
Now to your questing:
So, you moved some Bookmarks and now 2 folders are completely empty.
I think that they dropped in a other folder during dragging the Bookmarks.
Did you check ALL of you Bookmark folder if they are there?
If you didn't delete the they have to be still there.
