The efficient way to repair broken EPM report

Hi experts,
I'm looking for the efficient way to repair broken EPM report.
In following cases, the relevant EPM reports are broken and I can't push "Edit report" (gray out) and lose connection to model...
i) In removing dimension from a model (ex. rename dimension ID, add & delete it)
ii) in removing member which is located on page axis of EPM report.
To avoid the situation, I make a point of taking following measures:
i) - clean up the dimension that I want to delete from axis of EPM report before remove it from relevant model
ii) - clean up the member from EPM report before removing it.
However these measures terribly bothered me if number of relevant EPM reports is too large... If these reports can connect to model or be able to "Edit report", the work will be more efficient.
Do you mind if you tell me a good idea?

in opening the broken EPM report:
This dialog appears if the member that has already removed is located in pase axis. Unfortunately, this broken report isn't able to execute "Edit Report".
My question is how I can repair the report by something to do. Please help me...

If I want to insert some bytes into a file (for example, insert the bytes before all the original content of the file, or append the bytes to a file), and the size of the original file is very big. I am wondering what is the efficient way? Where can I get some sample codes?

I have tried your method and you are correct. I have written a simple program which can be used to insert "Hello World " to the start of a file ("c:\\temp\\input.txt"), and I have verified that it can work. Please help to see whether it is correct and whether it has a more efficient way.

a) Create a panel with a GridLayout. create a JLabel
using the image and add the label to the panel.then add the panel to the JScrollPane, (I assume that the size of the image is the same) then add the JScrollPane to your frame. ^_^

Hello Deepak,
You mean apart from using a smaller font size or a bigger monitor?
You can think about combining / wrapping columns (so more data in one column).
Or hide some less important data and show that only on demand.

Infoview - What's the best way to have Shortcuts to Reports?

Our Infoview users create shortcuts to reports that are in the Public Folders area
by selecting the check box next to the report and then selecting organise and add to my favourites.
This is placing what we thought was a shortcut to the file in My Folders > Favourites
The problem is that this is not creating a shortcut to the report but making a copy of it and placing in My Favourites area.
When the original report is altered then the copy obviously is not and is causing issues.
My question is what is the best way of just making a shortcut to the actual report and not a copy.
I understand there is also a categories area that may be able to add shortcuts but donu2019t have much info on this.
Is anyone able to let me know how this can be done and some steps in doing this?

What is the best way to create a SSRS Report with Header Data and its associated child data

So I have Member Information...Member ID...Member Addressing...etc.. I want to display this in the top part of the report like...
Member Name:
Member ID:
Member Address Line 1:
And then below I want to report on all the claims associated with a Member ID that is chosen by the Parameter. Obviously the Claim Data will be in Table format. Do I necessarily have to associate the Member Information with the Claim Information or simply
use the same parameter? And what is the best Toolbox item to use to display the Member Information on top?
Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated by this newbie.

According to your description, you want to display all Claim Data for each Member. Right?
In Reporting Services, we can use a table to display those Claim Data and make them group on Member ID. If you want to display the Member Information, we can put the data fields on parent group level. Then we can use create a parameter to filter the Member
ID we need. We have tested this scenario in our local environment. Here are steps and screenshots for your reference:
1. Create a DataSet(DataSet1) which contains the data fields of Member and Claim.
2. Create a table and drag the Claim data into the table.
3. In Row Group. Right click on Details and add a parent group.
4. Select Member_ID in Group by.
5. Right click on the textbox of Claim data. Select Insert Row->Outside of Group-Above. Drag the MemberName into the inserted row.
6. In Report Data, right click on Parameter-> Add Parameter.
7. Type Member_ID in Name and Prompt, select allow multiple values.
8. In Available Values, select get data from a query. Choose DataSet1, select Member_ID in values and label. You can also set this in Default Values if you need.
9. Save and preview.

What is the best way to fix broken vis when the type library of the active x server changes (methods or properties addes)?

Every time there is a change to the active X server I am developing drivers for I have to go back through all the vi's I have developed and re-point the methods an properties back to what they were to fix the broken arrows. The only change in the Active X server is usually an additional method or property. There has to be a better way, I have over 130 vi's I have to fix for every update and it keeps getting larger.

This is somthing I can try, but I don't think it will solve my problem. My reference never changes, it is always the same and is correctly registered with every new release. What does change are the number of methods and properties. With each new release there are usualy additional methods and properties; however, the old ones are still there with the same names (thank goodness). The problem this causes with LabVIEW, apparently, whenever there is a change in the type library you must re-point all the methods an properties again, at least this is what I am experiencing. If doing what you suggested works, it would be some kind of magic that I would like an explanation for.

IMac & MBP - The Efficient Way

I have an old 20' iMac(early 2008), and a new 17" MBP(mid 2010).
I'm thinking about UPGRADING my computers but have no clue how to do that.
Should I "get a new 27 " iMac", and use it with my 17" MBP(But that way I will not be able to use BOTH my desktop and my laptop and thus considering it a WASTE) or, should I "get a 27" Monitor, and link it to my 17" MBP"?
What ways should I do, to get the "Most Efficient Use of my desktop(iMac), and laptop(MBP)?

Apple Mail: What's the best way to repair existing install?

I have a new G5 Intel iMac 24". Just recently (within the last couple of days) Mail has been freezing and not doing any of the most basic things (reply, etc).
The only thing I've done to the computer is run the latest version of OnyX.
So I'm wondering: can I "repair" the current install of Mail by using Pacifist and re-installing Mail? And if I do that, will I lose all my preferences, accounts, emails, etc.?
Or have I just stuffed things up with OnyX, and should I hit the "go back to default settings" and see if that fixes it?
I'm currently using Entourage for my email and it works flawlessly - I switched to that yesterday and imported all the settings and accounts, etc., from Apple Mail.

You do know that Apple doesn't take trade ins, right?
You can get an out of warranty replacement of your iPhone for $149. If you go with a 3rd party, you will forfeit any future support on that phone by Apple, and will forfeit your ability to purchase an out of warranty exchange. This will definitely decrease it's trade in value.
