The GPS sendor does not get a fix.

I have tested the GPS sensor from time to time.
It does not get a fix, and flashing once a second.
I made it to face to open sky, so I do not think it did not find satellites.
So I get the following log, when I run the demo program.
AdaFruit GPS Sensor: position data = 075847.799,,,,,0,0,,,M,,M,,*46
AdaFruit GPS Sensor: Badly formatted latitude number
Does anyone have an idea to fix it?

Hi -
The sensor does take awhile to locate the satellites, even it is is facing the open sky - sometimes as long as 15 minutes. However, in a dense urban setting, even then it has a hard time getting the signal with the built in passive antenna.
I recommend considering purchasing an active antenna, like this one. Be sure to also purchase the adapter cable that Adafruit recommends. Using this antenna, I was able to get a signal inside of building in downtown San Francisco.

After importing images from my card using LR 5.4, the GPS data does not show in the metadata panel. However, when I look at the imported images using Bridge, the GPS data is visible. Anybody know why LR is not seeing the GPS data? Camera is Canon 6D.

Ok, the issue seem to be solved. The problem was this:
The many hundred files (raw and xmp per image) have been downloaded by ftp in no specific order. Means - a couple of files in the download queue - both raw and xmps. Most of the time, the small xmp files have been finished loading first and hence the "last change date" of these xmp files was OLDER than the "last change date" of the raw file - Lightroom then seem to ignore the existence of the xmp file and does not read it during import.(a minute is enough to run into the problem)
By simply using the ftp client in a way that all large raw files get downloaded first followed by the xmp files, we achieved that all "last changed dates" of the xmp files are NEWER than the related raw files. (at least not older)
And then LR is reading them and all metadata information has been set / read correctly.
So this is solved.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

When I enter time machine (on Time Capsule) i see the stack of screen shots and the time line. However, when I roll over the mouse pointer, the time line does not activate. The cancel button does not get me out of the app: have to alt cmd esc. Ideas?

1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
Note: This is now your Library. It's not a Back Up, and you need another disk for backing up.

Hi, I have a Crystal Report on Visual Studio 2010. I'm connecting using Ado.Net. I have a report with two columns in the "detail" section. Each column contains currency values. In the footer I have the summary for each of the two columns. The problem is: when one of the columns does not have any values, the summary does not get counted. What do I need to do, so that when there is no value in the column, it assumes that it is zero?

hi Aron,
if you create a new formula referencing the field, and then add a 'null' check to the formula, then this will work.
e.g.
if isnull({your_table.your_field}) then 0
else {your_table.your_field}
now add this new formula to your report canvas and insert the summary based on the new formula.

The first thing I would suggest is for you to go to the folder containing your catalog, using your system browser. There will be a folder that has the extension .lrdata. Delete that folder, and then try to start Lightroom. If that doesn't work, replace your catalog with your most recent backup.

Lov command link does not get refreshed

We are using Jheadstart 11.1.1.4.26 with Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 and we think we have found a bug.
The scenario includes two items, an inputtext (FirstName) and an LovItem (ManagerId)
The LovItem (ManagerId) is dependent on the inputtext (FirstName) with Clear/Refresh and has a Disabled Expession #{bindings.EmployeesFirstName.inputValue==null} so that when the Firstname is null the LovItem (ManagerId) is disabled.
This seems to work fine except from the commandLink of the LovItem which does not get refreshed. This is probably because the Id of the commandLink is not included in the componentsToRefresh item inside the EmployeesFirstNameDependsOnItem.
Of course we could create a custom vm for the default/misc/facesConfig/dependsOnItemBean.vm and pass the id of the commandlink but we are looking for a more generic way.

Open the phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating "Settings updated."
Double tap the Home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom. Locate the Phone, Message, and Contacts apps, swiping if necessary, and press and hold until they jiggle then press the red minus sign to stop them.
Wait a 3-5 minutes.
Try your phone again to verify that it's fixed.

SA520W does not get IP on optional WAN

We are using a SA520W as our primary router and have a fiber connection attached to the default WAN interface. We would like to improve our uptime using a secondary internet connection on the optional WAN interface.
We have bought a dovado tiny 4g router for this other connection. It acts as a dhcp server but the Cisco router does not get an IP from the dovado router. The router works as expected when connected to a normal computer. But somehow the cisco router doesnt get an IP.
I have also tried to set a static IP for the Cisco router but that didn't help either. The dovado router is setup do deliver ip in the range 192.168.0.2-254
Link is up but WAN state is Down. Any ideas?

What is the port configuration settings, set to 10/100/1000 Half or Full. If Auto try manually changing. Also you can try to clone the mac address, or set the mdi/mdix settings on the G4 router if possible.

Moving Average Price does not get updated for Project Stock

We have an Engineer-to-Order implementation for our client. Accordingly procurement is done per project. Each Project issues its PRs which are then converted to POs and recieved into Project Stock.
While assigning the material to the Network activity in Project (using material component) the system uses the price found in the material master (MAP or STD) as a planned cost appended to the project.
Problem:
while procuring the material, when we receive it into Project Stock (Mvt 101 Q + ) the Moving Average Price in the material master does not get updated. this way all newly created material master will never have a moving average price, thus whenever we try to assign them to the project we receive an error message (Cost for Material Component ###Mat.Num### cannot be determined.
Question:
How can I get the system to update moving average price (for all types of stock) based on procurement for project stock.???

Case:
The T-code is CJ20N Project Builder in PS module
we are assigning material components to network activities under a certain WBS element in the project.
there is a function in the Project Builder to calculate the cost of a network. it uses the costing variant assigned to the network which is PS02 (We get the error here)
The costing variant has a valuation variant which lists a series of strategies to get the material price. Planned 1 if not then STD if not then MAP. (you can choose between many options via a drop down menu) you can choose 5 consequent options.
The MAP that the valuation variant is coded to get is the Plant Stock MAP -- Or the Project Stock MAP but only Per WBS element.
The MAP that the Actual postings update is the Project Stock MAP only Per WBS element.
This means that if you use a material component to purchase material 123 Acc.As. Q for WBS X for 10 $ then you try to assign a new material component with the same material 123 to WBS Y, the system will not get a MAP. because it's stored in QBEW per WBS element.
This way the system will never get the MAP right.
However, we don't always use project stock to procure for projects, for some requirements we can assign and use plant stock as well for Projects. that way we need the MAP from plant stock.
In the Valuation Variant you can use a User Exit Strategy. The user exit's name is COPCP005
My Suggestion is:
Use the User Exit COPCP005 to calculate the { Total value / the total quantity (MAP) from QBEW + Total value / total quantity (MAP) from MBEW } / 2
which is the MAP for both plant and project stock together, since that we are going to use both.

We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

Let me guess, did you just install/upgrade iTunes?
If so, then it's surely your security software (firewall, web accelerator, privacy filters, etc) that is blocking iTunes.
The iTunes "upgrade" is actually an uninstall, then total new install, of iTunes and QuickTime. Many security packages such as Norton, Zone Alarm, Google Web accelerator, McAfee, PCillin (...the list is long) see this new iTunes install as a malicious threat, and block out the previous settings without telling you.
Go to your security software vendor's website and see if they have directions for allowing iTunes & QT back in the list of programs allowed to access the internet.
