* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I am a U.S. citizen who works over the internet at home for a man in the U.K. My boss in the U.K. ordered CS3 from the U.K. and shipped it to the U.S.
For almost a year, I was able to use the CS3 products until all the sudden, I get an error message that says, "You cannot use this product at this time. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the product or contact Adobe for technical support." Every time I try and talk to a customer service representative from Adobe, I am either put on hold for about 30 minutes, am asked to contact the offices in the U.K since the product was purchased in the U.K. or am told I can't get any support because I don't have an order number or a serial number or whatever these people are asking for. I do not have that kind of money to be making long distance phone calls to the U.K. only to receive no technical support at all. My job is very important and if my boss paid over $1,000 for the product then either he or I should get the support we need before I end up loosing my job over it. I was once promised a very new clean CS3 CD along with a new serial key for all the trouble I went through with technical support and never received it in the mail. I can give you my boss' contact info, but I refuse to quit until I get the support I am looking for. My boss' number is

This issue can be caused by a corrupt local snapshot index. The procedure below will temporarily disable local snapshots and force the index to be rebuilt.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens.
Drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo tmutil disablelocal
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command.
To re-enable:
sudo tmutil enablelocal -
Itunes is asking that I edit payment info, but will not accept any changes to allow me to purchase music? I have changed cards, reentered information, uninstalled and re-installed Itunes. Nothing is working, what do I need to do?

I just upgraded a full version of "ISO Fits" app from App Store 2 days ago but the upgrade wasn't successful. I reported the problem to the developer but had not received any reply. What should I do?
1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.

1 month ago I changed batteries to my keyboard.yesterday appeard msg for low battery again. I try to take of the old ones but I realized that there was battery liquid dry in there. Now my keyboard is dead... Do anyone knows what to do... I need a new ?
If your batteries leaked and possibly eroded teh contacts the best you can do it to attempt to remove all the fluid and clean the contacts. If the keyboard still does not work after a thorough cleaning yes it will need to be replaced. A new wireless keyboard is about $59 from OWC or you may want to look online for a used one, sometimes OWC (www.macsales.com) has them used. Other sources are Apple of course, Amazon, and any Apple reseller.

How can I work around 1316 error that won't let me uninstall and then reinstall Elements 12
Elements 12 stopped working and the shortcut no longer finds the executable file. There does not appear to be a repair function on the installation CD. As a result, I have tried unsuccessfully to uninstall the program using Windows 7 64 bit uninstaller, Iobit Uninstaller, and Revo Pro Uninstaller. In each instance, I get the error "Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file c:\Windows\Adobe\Installer\Adobe Photoshop Elements 12.msi." As a test, I ran Iobit Uninstaller 3 as an administrator, but that was not successful either.Each time, the program rolls back when it detects the 1316 error. I can neither install or uninstall Photoshop Elements at this time.
How can I uninstall the program completely and then reinstall it either from my Elements 12 installation CD or from the same files on my hard drive?"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."

with that one, let's try the following procedure.
first, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. if it goes, good. if it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to itunes.
next, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. use it to clear any existing itunes and/or QuickTime installation configuration information from the PC.

I have a site that i am on all the time and have never had a problem at all using it, but the other day all the sudden i could log into the site but when i go to use the chat room feature in the site i get kicked back out to the sign in area. I have used on other comp to make sure not site and have been able use w Internet Explorer... So i am at a loss as to what has happened all the sudden. Please help me...very frustrated w this... Original problem I noticed was that regular websites I go to (such as msn) were only partially downloading. I could see the text on the site but no pictures or videos. All web surfing was extremely slow. When I would go to a site such as man I would see another address in the lower left corner for "ads1.msads.net" or "cdn.optimizely.com" that is was trying to connect to. I tried using all three of my browsers (firefox, safari, chrome) and got the same response on all browsers. After I spent some time researching the issue I decided I probably had a adware/malware problem so I decided to try adwaremedic.com. I could also not access that site along with thesafemac.com or apple.com. I was also getting the same response on my other devices (iPhone, iPad, and a mac air). I could not access any of these sites on any of my devices although I could get to almost any other site although it was very slow. At that point I decided to unplug the router. I also did a number of other things before then to try and manually get rid of any adware. Eventually I got msn back working, apple.com, and the speed was much faster. But, I still can not access adwaremedic and thesafemac.com. I could access these on my phone with 3G but not on my wifi. This is where the problem still stands. I am sure I still have some adware on my computer and need to find a way to remove it. I am no techie so the complicated manual fixes are difficult for me to do.

I went to use my iPhone 4 s to track one of my devices ,I'm getting a message that says I have no devices almost like I deleted them but I haven't and no one knows the passwords but me . I did try to update my iTunes account yesterday so that I coukd sync my phone because it said that my phone would t work with that iTunes account anymore . Did I do something wrong or did someone delete my devices somehow ? I appreciate any help that I can get .

I have an iPhone 4 not quite 2 years old. 2 nights ago my iPhone was on its charger and it kept vibrating as if it was being disconnected and re-connected from the charger. When I looked at it had an "error" message but now I don't know what that was as it was 3am and I was half asleep. I just diconnected the charger and the battery read fully charged.
The my volume wouldn't go up or down. The box with "ringer" in it came up but no bars at the bottom to show the volume is increasing or decreasing. It would not play music out of the speakers either even though the screen showed it was playing and it would not work in our dock/speaker unless I used bluetooth and even then, if we touched the volume button on the dock it would switch off.
I tried a "hard" reset 3 times and tried switching it off and on 3 times with no success.
I tried 3 different chargers including a car charger, plus the speaker dock with no success.
It is now out of battery and I cannot charge it.
The iPhone also would not back anything up prior to the battery going flat.
I just need to know if it is fixable or do I need to start looking for a new phone?Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

Help! My iTunes is getting stuck on the backup and will not go any further
I have just bought a new iPhone 4S and would like it to have everything that my iPhone 4 had on it but it is proving very difficult. I have tried multiple times to back up my old phone without success - I did think that with the cloud and all the new **** that I wouldn't need to plug my iPhones in ever again but this does not seem to be the case at all. I have managed to back up my old phone on my laptop and have since put my apps, contacts, calendars, messages etc onto my new phone but now I would like my music which is on my PC. This is where the problem is - iTunes on my PC will not back up my old phone and it will now not sync with my new phone either... Is there a way around this or will I have to suffer with having no music on my new phone?? It seems that everytime I upgrade my phone I always have some sort of issue with iTunes - I just thought this time would be different with the new software etc...?
If anyone has any advice on the subject it would be very very greatly appreciated.Go to iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices and delete your latest backup. iTunes has to be able to read your backup in order to replace it, if it can't be read, iTunes will stop at step one, which is backing up the device.

For some reason, Facebook is the only site I cannot reach when logged in as Admin. When I switch to Guest then I can access Facebook. I've cleared DNS cache. I've reset Safari, etc. Something is real wierd. Any ideas?

I've been trying to down load the new itunes version and I'm stuck on All your music in one place but now it's been stuck there for over 20 minutes. Do I need to start over or is this normal?
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.
