The Link SL issue.

To anyone who likes to record the BBC quiz show The Link, you may have missed the first episode of S2 today ( Monday ). It was moved over to BBC Two as the golf is on BBC One. Series Link failed to pick this up on my Planner. It is available on BBC iPlayer until 19/8.

Just came back off holiday and also noticed "Under the Dome " was set for 3.10am so took it off, also noticed they have done it again with another program, it's "Wentworth Prison" showing on wednesday 22nd july at 10pm on channel 5, i looked under the scheduled programs and it hadnt picked it up on the SSL, i looked through the EPG, again it shows as "new" when it clearly is not, so are we back to the "new" thing again or is this a channel 5 problem, maybe one of the more knowledgeable peopie on here can find out.

I have created a navigation system on the master pages and set the presentation to links only mode. I also have other links scattered throughout the program, like a linkable table of contents, etc. Some of them work, some of them don't. Not sure why. Anyone out there having similar issues? Or have any idea on how I can solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated!

Links should not create any problems in Keynote. If they are set up correctly on text, the text will be underlined. Objects that have links will have a curved arrow bottom right, if you click the arrow a popup will display the link information.
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:

delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, using Appcleaner from Mac Update, its a freeware application

empty the trash: Finder > Empty Trash

Shut down your Mac, wait 30 seconds, then power on the Mac, immediately after the start chime, hold down the Shift key
When you see the grey Apple symbol and progress indicator (a spinning gear), release the Shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, then hold down the Shift key again as you click Log in.

Let the Mac fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive

when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click repair disc permissions

when complete, restart the Mac normally, Apple menu > Restart

install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Issue: in the links pallet a weird gray gradient keeps replicating. I cannot identify it in the artwork. It is an embedded image. I cannot get rid of it and it keeps reproducing. WHAT is it and why can't I delete it?

Hello, yes it is reproducing over and over. I look in the original artwork and there are 28. I did not save over the original art but “save as”. Worked on the new file for a while and now there are 47!. I copied all the content to a new blank, all colors removed, file and there they were. If I click on them can’t relink, won’t show a bounding box, no frame in wire-frame, no stray points. they are ghosts. Here is an image, to give a better visual of how they look in links panel. None of the stuff in " http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite " helps. I have tried and tried and I have even wipe the computer clean still didn't help. I got the same problem as he/she has got in the first posted. Can add some web pages but not all the web pages I want.. I should have never updated to 3.6.13... That's when it all started for me, from that version..... Now Version 3.6.14 is out, I was hoping the version 3.6.14 might would fix the problem wrong again....
Funny thing is i can not even Bookmark Firefox.com!!!!!...lol

Why do none of the links that I put in my outgoing yahoo emails no longer underline themselves and become live when I finish typing them and hit the space bar?

Previously, when I typed my email address in an outgoing email or cut and pasted a link from my browser bar the link would become 'live' when I hit the space bar or 'enter' key. The link would turn blue and underline itself and the person receiving the email could just click on that live link and be taken to the site. Now the link does not turn blue or underline itself and the receiver must cut and paste the link into their browser bar to use it.
Why? I did not change anything in Yahoo or Mozilla.
I have deleted and reinstalled Java to no effect. I am using html in Yahoo.

As it turns out, many others have been having similar issues on other browsers. It seems that maybe Yahoo! is taking a much longer time to load or something like that. Either way, its been working on and off all week, and the same issue even showed up yesterday with IE 8 instead of FF. It still loads faster than IE 8, but again is spotty. Some people think the issue may be with mail.yimg.com or s.yimg.com, which I could see was the loading url in the left corner whenever Yahoo! Mail was refusing to work. A couple of people said blocking it caused the issue. Alternatively, some people suggested blocking it to solve the problem. Does anyone have any information on that? Again, I have no add-ons that would be blocking any urls, and my firewall hasn't any records of it. I really don't want to do anything to mess up my browsers more than they may have already been. Hi, I managed to publish my website on the server. The server recognize the different pages when I write the url, but when I use the a tag to surf to the next page it doesn't recognize the link.

If you just change the links to point to the 'pages' folder in the 'DeActeursGilde' folder instead of them pointing outside of the folder to the site server root which a / leading slash does that should solve your issue. With the leading slash the browser is looking for a folder named 'pages' outside of the 'DeActeursGilde' folder instead of looking for a 'pages' folder inside of it.

How do I block an ad that opens up a new Firefox window and keeps telling me my system performance is poor? I can't even capture the link.

This particular ad, supposedly from a Windows Certified Partner, opens in a second Firefox window and keeps flashing the message that my System Performance is Poor, wanting me to click on their ad and let them do whatever nasty things they want to my system. I have not been able to capture the path but next time it comes up, I will write down all that I can see.
If I have closed my main Firefox screen first, and then close out this ad, the next time I open Firefox, the ad opens and all my standard tabs are gone, requiring me to reopen each one seperately (Facebook, Google, etc).

Just to address the last point: check your History menu to see whether you have the Restore Previous Session option and use that if you can. If that is grayed out or doesn't restore everything, check the Recently Closed Windows and Recently Closed Tabs lists for other pages.
The unwanted window may be generated by an add-on. Try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

Here are some other things to check:
(1) user.js file that changes Firefox startup behavior and overrides your preferences. This article describes how to track that down and delete it if you have one: [[How to fix preferences that won't save]].
(2) Possible hijacked shortcut. Check the "target" of the desktop icon you use to start Firefox to see whether it lists the unwanted page. To do that:
right-click the icon > Properties > Shortcut tab
For 64-bit Windows 7, the Target should be no more and no less than this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
(3) Possible undisclosed bundle items. If you have installed any free software recently, check your Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a program for surprises. If you click the "Installed on" column head to group by date, it is easier to spot bundled junk. Remove everything suspicious or unrecognized.
(4) Supplemental clean up scans. Our support article lists tools other Firefox users have found helpful: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].
Hopefully that cures it.

How do I move my Muse file to the Creative Cloud folder without losing all the links to assets?

I'd like to keep my .muse files in the Creative Cloud folder so they will be accessible from anywhere, and always backed up. But I have many hundreds of links to image assets etc, and am worried that if I move the Muse file to the CC folder the links will be broken.
The links situation with Muse already seems worrying to me — my images are all arranged in folders but Muse seems unable to deal with this properly so can have trouble finding them. So if I move not only the Muse file but all the image files and folders, will Muse still be able to operate, or will I be faced with potentially having to spend many hours manually linking the image files?
Is there a recommended way of arranging assets etc when working with Muse using the Creative Cloud folder?

Move from the Creative Cloud to the Muse forum. They will be able to help you here with the issue of Muse finding your images.
The Creative Cloud file storage will do nothing to change any of your files, it will just store them. But you will not be able to make your Muse sight work from within the Creative Cloud.

How do i edit the links in the top nav bar on an enterprise wiki site?

I would like to edit and change the links in the top nav bar on my enterprise wiki.
Currently the links are "About this wiki" and "Recent" a drop down menu with links.
I would like to change "About this wiki" to a "Home" page link and remove the "Recent" drop down menu and links. I also would like to be able to add more links to the to the top nav bar.
I there anyway I can do this one an enterprise wiki site?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to edit the links in the top navigation bar on an enterprise wiki site.
I try to reproduce the issue, however, my enterprise wiki site don’t have the drop down menu.
How did you add the Recent link?
How did you create the drop down menu?
Did you use the seattle master page or olso master page?
It will be better if you can descript more detail and provide some screenshots.
You can use JavaScript to add and remove the items in the drop down menu.

If you know the answers to your security question for the ID you can use that method to reset the password rather than email (by going to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid).
If you don't, you'll have to contact iTunes Store support for assistance: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html. They frequently deal with Apple ID issues.

When I long press a link, in addition to opening a context box, it also opens the link in that window. How can I get JUST the context window to appear?

I am an avid Pocket user and I like to scroll through various blog sites while saving articles to read later. Typically, I have been using Google Chrome browser which requires me to open each article in a different tab and then share that article to Pocket in order to save it. I was ecstatic when I found out the firefox browser worked very well and even supported add ons. I decided to try it but have run into a major issue. When I long press a link in order to share it, instead of a context window appearing and the website staying the same, a context window opens while the website loads the link. When I right click on a link in my browser, it doesn't mean I want to go to that link so I'm not sure why the same procedure would cause the mobile browser to do so. Is there a way I can long press a link without opening the link in that tab?

Okay, this is silly, but it's the best I could come up with:
I tested on Gizmodo: when the long press menu appears, instead of lifting your finger straight up, slide it down a bit, just off the link, before lifting your finger off the glass. Then the script in the page does not detect a "mouse up" (or equivalent event) on the link. Does that work for you?
I realize you can't actually see the link through the menu, but one or two lines of text height usually will do it.
Probably would make sense for Firefox to cancel all events associated with touching the link once the menu is displayed. Or to make sure the site understands it as a right-click (that seems harder). I haven't checked to see whether any ideas along these lines have been filed in the bug tracking system.

Manually Split the PO Shipment will not retain the Link with the PR

Hello Gurus,
If a PO is created from MO-PR-PO process and if you split PO line shipment into multiple distributions , The link between PO-PR will not be retained.
I am aware that this is a Standard Functionality , but it will be of immense help if anyone could help me to understand the complexity of the modifcation.

Icreated a website on iweb, originally had problem with firefox, I was helped and that issue was resolved. I just discovereded that some of my links within the site are not hot/working. It seems to be working on safari, firefox and google chrome but not on internet explorer and it is not all the links. Any suggestions?

Hmm, okay I'm not entirely sure about this one. I know that a lot of iWeb users say that they have some issues with IE, and I know that lots of shapes and shadows can have an affect on an iWeb site's appearance in iWeb. But it seems strange that it would only happen on that one page, when the other pages are pretty similar.
I would try the rage software/webcrusher method, as it is possible that if you run your site through webcrusher, it will end up working. That tutorial mentions not having shapes and shadows, but I doubt that's something you'd want to get rid of entirely as that seems to be the bulk of the design, but it's still worth a shot to just optimize the site and see if it works.
If you need help with it, e-mail rage software and their support guys will be able to lend a hand.
