The motor or fan with my MacBookPro is running very loudly. What can I do? I already have an external fan running underneath the laptop.

How can I reduce the noise of the fan or motor for the MacbookPro? I have an external fan underneath so it doesn't overheat. TNX

I've arranged to have this moved to a MBP topic. You don't have a Mac Pro and have posted in the wrong forum.
Pre-Mavericks
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu.  Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order.  If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time (>=70,) then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar.  Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.

Sure, "removing items from the Dock is simplicity itself." Only it won't work with Adobe Reader, which I don't use anymore. I can't get rid of it. What's the trick?

Hello All, Does anyone know if standard SRM allows a user from one company code to create a shopping cart and charge it to another company code? Is this controlled through the org structure attributes or does it involve the use of BAdIs as well? Than
