The name of the current list item
hi
i have a table that stores the users names and the available button for him (list item)
i want to create a function that returns a value
in the display condition of the list item to show or hide the item .
my function should receive two parameters one of them is the current user which is the :APP_USER. variable and the other parameter is the current list item which its display condition execute the function .
so how can i get the current item ?

Create a list style with unique space after the last list item?
I should start by saying that I'm a web designer and therefore extremely used to using CSS for type setting to the point that I now become frustrated when going back to the print world
So here's what I'm trying to achieve:
- I want to create a list style for bullet lists
- I want there to be 3pt space after and space before paragraph breaks
- I want there to be 9pt space after the entire list (or last list item)
I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this short of overriding the space after amount on the last item each time I use my style.Hi supportneeder

Pay attention to how +"styles work by example"+. Form up the list levels the way you want them and then select them to make the list style.
Personally I can't help remarking on the obtuse behavior of programmers that they manufactured all the problems on the internet and only now, more than a decade later, patch together "solutions" they struggle to implement due to the legacy of all the awful standards we never needed to have in the first place.

btw The last list item is always a problem in typesetting. Usually you deal with it by having a particular style for that or the paragraph afte,r all of which can take multiple forms. -

Google will produce you with hints on how to read content of a file from Java (ideally the file uses some delimiter). Then in a managed bean, you read the file and save its content in a list of SelectItem. So your managed bean should have the following property and setter/getter pairs

SPD 2013 - Copy Document action - how do you update the copied list item's metadata?
SharePoint 2013 Designer no longer has the Copy List Item Action, it only has a Copy Document action. It seems that this action provides no way of saving the copied documents list item ID. How do you update the list item after it has been copied??
Any help is appreciated.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to copy the list item in SharePoint 2013.
The Copy List Item is
available only on the SharePoint 2010 Workflow platform, you can create a SharePoint 2010 workflow using the SharePoint 2010 workflow platform to achieve it.
You can also use the Content and Structure to copy the list items: Site Settings->Site Administration->Content and Structure.

The Create List Item workflow action does not work in document library with document template
My end goal is more complex but below is a basic example of the issue I’m having that just simply does not work.
I'm trying to use a site workflow to create an item in a document library that has a document template applied to it but the file that gets created by the workflow is corrupt and cannot be opened.
I created a document library and edited the document template by adding some text to the header and changing it to a Word docx file instead of a Word dotx file. I tested the document template by clicking the files tab in the ribbon and then clicking new
document which opens the document template in Word and allows me to edit and save the document back to SharePoint. Then I created a SharePoint 2013 site workflow in SharePoint Designer that contains a single Create List Item action, and that action creates
an item in the document library with the name field statically defined. I published the workflow and then manually start it on the site. The workflow completes successfully and when I navigate to the document library the document has been created by the workflow.
When I click on the document to open it in the Word Web App it throws the error pictured below and if I open it in the Word client application it just opens a blank document and not the correct document template.
I also tried using a SharePoint 2010 workflow with pretty much the same results. Opening the document in Word Web App gives the same error as above and opening the document in the Word client application gives the error pictured below.
Come on Microsoft creating a Word Document in a SharePoint Document Library from a SharePoint Workflow should just work! Is this a bug or does anyone have any ideas on what is causing the this issue?I had the same problem with corrupted document - this worked for me:
1. Create a 2010 Workflow which creates the list element in a document library
(you may start this workflow from your 2013 workflow if applicable)
2. In the Create New List Item properties - make sure to set ContentTypeId to your content type
("Id for indholdstype" is Danish for "Contenttype ID")
3. Your Content Type template should be a ".docx" file - NOT a ".dotx" file...!
(I have always created my templates for content types as .dotx files - seems Microsoft wants us to use ordinary .docx files as template files for content types)

I understand that you want to get total of "To" column. I would suggest you modify the current view of list and use "Group By" and Total section to get Max number of that column. Just try this and check whether it fulfils your need or

Sub_Head_Code and Tax_ID are behaving like composite foreign key from Tax_Rules table}
I have design form for both tables.
In BILL form i am trying to get values of Tax_ID from Tax_Rules table at run-time by using WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE.
For this whenever i select a Sub_Head_Code in Bill Form, all the Tax_IDs that i have recorded against each Sub_Head_Code which is either 1 or 2 against 6% and 3.5% respectively.
But I want that whenever i select a "Sub_Head_Code", Only that Tax_ID which is associated with that Sub_Head_Code ahould come in the LIST ITEM.
I have used WHERE clause but that is useless.
Following is the Code that i have applied in the WHE-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE Trigger at FORM LEVEL

In the Bill table, you state:
Sub_Head_Code and Tax_ID are behaving like composite foreign key from Tax_Rules table
If the Sub_Head_Code is unique, then it's acting as a primary key, so Sub_Head_Code and Tax_ID in the Bill table are not behaving like a composite foreign key. The Sub_Head_Code is a foreign key, and the Tax_ID is irrelevant as far as keys are concerned.
It is not clear what it is you want to do.
If you want to display the Tax_IDs from the Bill table when you select a Sub_Head_Code from the Tax_Rules table, then change your query to:
select TAX_ID, TAX_ID from BILL where Sub_Head_Code = :Tax_Rules.Sub_Head_Code
If you want to display the Tax_IDs from the Tax_Rules table when you select a Sub_Head_Code from the Bill table, then change your query to:
select TAX_ID, TAX_ID from TAX_RULES where Sub_Head_Code = :Bill.Sub_Head_Code
If this is not what you want, then clarify what it is you want to do. Don't say:
"I want that whenever i select a "Sub_Head_Code", Only that Tax_ID which is associated with that Sub_Head_Code"
because it is not clear what tables you are referring to. -
Recently I updated iTunes on my PC and now the "Summary" for syncing my iPhone with iTunes no longer appears near the top of my iTunes window. "Summary" lists items I can sync such as "Music, Photos, Apps", etc with drop-down boxes I can use to manage how I sync those items. An icon for my iPhone does appear near the top right corner of the iTunes window; however, when I click on the icon, the sync automatically begins and there is no display of what is syncing or how much space has been used or how much space is left for syncing music, photos, apps, etc. The new iTunes window no longer lists "Devices" on the left-hand side of the window. Has anyone had the same issue?
In iTunes go to View>Show Sidebar.

How can I resize a poplist List Item so that when it's expanded all of my item choices are displayed and the user doesn't have to use a scroll bar to move up and down the list of choices?
The number of choices that are displayed in a poplist (or combo box) is determined by Forms and cannot be specified. However, if you use a t-list you can expand the list by using the height property.

Global package variable for the current rendering item
I like to define a generic plsql function which handles all the page 0 item conditions. I will place this function call in all page 0 item conditions.
Now I need a global (htmldb_application) package variable which I can use to identify for which item condition the function is executed.
Which global variable can I use for this purpose or is there an other way to do this.

I like to give every item the same plsql condition such as htmldb_pck.show_item or
htmldb_pck.show_item('#CURRENT_ITEM#').
In my own htmldb_pck.show_item function I have all the display coding of the generic items.
My problem is that I have to know from which item the function is called.

May be this is something for an enhancement. Not only for the items, but also for the buttons, tabs, tab sets and report columns. So you know in generic pl/sql from which object the pl/sql is called. -

You can get current item guid by using FM CRM_ORDERADM_I_READ_OB, but it will of no use. If you try to do this then in this case you have to call maintain FM 2 times, which is not recommended. First you have to create item and then you have to maintain quantity. You have to do all this in one maintain call.

I have grow thorough some post and i found that,

I have List workflow using SharePoint Designer 2010. When new item get create, it sends email to person for approval. But when it sends email it sends Dafault zone URL.
Dafault zone URL is only accessible through Virtual Machine. We cant access from local machine. So i need to send intranet zone URL in email so user can open through local machine.
I tried it but i can only able to do for one list. I have to so this general for every list.
How can i send intranet zone URL?
Swapping the zone URL is not solution for this issue because after swapping situation is same.
