The songs being synced to my iphone would get corrupted and then everytime i plugged in my ipod or iphone itunes said they needed to be restored but that didnt work so i uninstalled itunes and now when i try to install it it doesnt install.

Then my ipod and my iphone wouldnt sync and itunes said they needed to be restored to factory settings, I tried doing that a few times and it never would work, the restore would run into various errors and never work out. I recentlly tried uninstalling itunes to see if that would help but now when i try to install and download itunes it doesnt work and the install runs into an error.
Also my ipod is stuck in recovery mode but my itunes doesnt even read the fact that its there. Can someone please help.

ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. You will have to contact them. Since you are not the original purchaser of the phone and do not have service with whatever carrier it might be locked to, it is highly unlikely you will get it unlocked.
Since it was hacked to unlock it originally, it is highly likely that the phone will become a brick if you attempt to apply a legitimate unlock.
Actually, it is probably already a brick.
There is nothing we can suggest other than to google "iphone dfu mode" and try doing a restore in DFU mode to see if that can bring it back to life. It may. If so, you will then need to work with the carrier it's locked to or sell it and buy a new phone. -

You should never try to charge or turn on a wet electronic device.
You should let it dry for a week or so, then try. -

An icon has appeared on my desktop called colour sync utility. I clicked on it, and it came up with information about needing to repair something which I tried to do but it didnt work. What is this and shouldI be worried ?
The Color Sync Utility is part of OSX and usually resides in the Application/Utilities folder.
Don't know how it appeared on your desktop.
But it is no malware, spyware or the like but as said part of OSX.

My iMessage has stopped working, it only says Text Message now when I try to message iPhone users
I got an iMessage in this morning and I tried to reply to it, which didn't go through and since then all of my contacts only get Text Messages. It doesn't say "iMessage" in the typing field anymore, it says Text Message. This is urking me and I don't know what to do.

First check your Internet connection.
Turn off Show Subject in Settings>>Message
Reset the Network Setting, which makes your phone to forget every networks and passwords that you connected your phone to.
to reset the Network Settings just go to Settings - General - Reset (at the bottom) - Reset Network Settings.
I remember when I reset the Network Settings, i turned off iMessages. I connected to my home Wi-Fi and surfed the web for a little while. Sent some regular SMS messages, and about 10min later, I turned on iMessages again and sent a text to a friend with an iPhone and it started working as iMessage! Baloons finally became blue.

completely remove itunes... i re downloaded after that and itunes is up and running (currently listening to music) however i now have no way to sync my iphone to the pc... i first tried using wifi sync, but the phone said the "pc was unavailble" and the sync button was greyed out. i then plugged the iphone directly into the computer via a apple usb 30 pin connector. Nothing. The computer recognizes the iphone in "my computer" and i can access my photos that way. but itunes doesnt recognize it at all. there is currently no way for me to sync my iphone. I have already "reset" my iphone... (holding down home button and lock button until it shuts off... and still until it shows a apple icon and then releasing after the apple icon goes away). i then turn it back on and plug it into the computer. itunes still doesnt find it. what do i do? i really dont want to unistall it again.. its a huge hassle and take forever.
Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -

If you have a SIM password on the device, you need to contact the carrier about that. However, if you are referring to unlocking the phone to enable you to use it with a different carrier's SIM, then you need to contact the carrier the device is locked to, see if they provide unlocking, and then see if you qualify for an unlock. Only the carrier the device is locked to can unlock the phone.

Ok my Iphone 4s locked up and I had to shut it down and restart it. When it restarted my contact list was gone. I went to Itunes and and clicked restore and it selected today as the last backup. It did the whole restore but my contact list is still missing. Is there another way for me to get my contact list back.?

If your iPhone wont power on, I recommend going through these steps first:

Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
