I have been having this problem with Firefox 3.6 for the last several updates. I'm currently using FF 3.6.17.
I think the problem showed up with 3.6.14.
I know for sure that I had it with 3.6.15 because I hoped that 3.6.16 would fix it.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

Please answer as many of the following questions as you can. You may already have answered some of them. In that case, there's no need to repeat the answers.
Have you restarted your router and your broadband device (if they're separate) since you first noticed the problem? If not, do that now and see whether there's any change.
If your browser is Safari, then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Any change?
Select the Advanced tab in the Preferences window and uncheck the box marked
Stop plug-ins to save power
Any change?
Quit and relaunch the browser. Any change?
Log out and log back in. Any change?
Enable Private Browsing in the Safari menu. Any change?
Are any other web browsers installed, and are they the same? What about other Internet applications, such as iTunes and the App Store?
If other browsers and Internet applications are also affected, follow these instructions and test. Any change?
If Parental Controls is active for any user, please turn it off and test. Any change?
If only Safari is affected, launch the Activity Monitor application and enter "web" (without the quotes) in the search box. Firefox will not stay open on my MacBook Pro; it opens for roughly 30 seconds, then crashes. It works fine on my MacBook and my HP Mini, but not on the MacBook Pro. Are others having this problem? How do I fix it?

I know this is a discussion board, but this is a real issue for me and others I have spoken with…
I love the phone it is great, the only problem I have is that the ringers are just not LOUD enough…I have all the settings correct and to the max. I have tried different ringers and they are all about the same in volume, the best one I have found is the Old Phone, but still not loud enough
If so I would suggest to send Apple an enhancement request, the more we ask for something the more likely Apple will respond…

But for like my wife who keeps it in her purse (as most women that I know do) then vibrate doesn't help. And when at home every phone before my iPhone I could hear in any room. The iPhone, sorry to say I cannot. Though I am not really complaining, just stating that the iPhone is not as loud as many think it should be.
Now once my 1 year is up (in June) I am going the route of what many sites have discussed of using a pin to puncture the thin plastic in the speaker covering that with sound equipment has shown a good 40% increase in sound levels.

I'm using a browser on a PC to access icloud mail. Has been working fine for a week or more. Suddenly the mail app doesn't launch. The other apps continue to work. I am using the correct version of the browsers and have tried several. I can get mail to launch once in a while using Firefox 16. But it also fails in that browser too. The error I'm getting is "Can't Load Mail, There was a problem loading the application." <Report> <OK>. It always fails in Chrome.

The iPhone is DESIGNED to switch to cellular data when asleep, unless it's connected to a power source, in which case it will stay logged onto the WiFi network. iPhones have ALWAYS behaved this way.
Either turn cellular data off at night, or leave your phone connected to a power source to continue the WiFI.

Google's highly nonstandard IMAP implementation is weird, if you're using Gmail, though Apple bent over backwards to accomodate it. Other than that, what do you mean by "weird"?

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a couple of weeks or so.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Please fix your CAPS lock, SCREAMING at your fellow user's when asking for help is not a good idea.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Facetime failing after last update..any others having this problem?

After the last update or 2 to Lion my facetime has been failing. It will dial and it will ring if someone calls me but gives me a message saying call failed when I try to answer or the other person tries to answer(if I call them).
I am using a IMAC with OSx Lion and I regularly keep up with updates.

I Have never read anywhere that Safari freezing is a major problem in iOS 8.2. With any software release, there are going to be a percentage of users that experience issues with their devices, but to state that there is a problem that needs to be fixed might be going a little too far.
There could be a number of reasons why Safari so freezing. You might have an app conflict or a corrupt setting. If you don't want to do any further troubleshooting and wait around for a fix, that's your choice. Nobody knows when the next iOS will be released so you could be waiting for a while.
By the way, I have restored to factory settings a couple of times and I never lost a thing. If you backup, restore to factory settings and then restore the backup, you shouldn't lose anything at all.

The "All services are online" at <http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/> looks quite annoying. Especially, since there are multiple threads reporting the same problem, all over the country and even abroad (UK).
