The Type TP_TH_LISTNER is unknown
Hi All ,
We are in SP15 and When we try to implement a note we got this error ' the Type TP_TH_LISTNER is unknown ' . We are getting this error in Class interface (SE24) - CL_RRMS_APPL_LOG .
I think people who are in support pack 16 can help .

Yes u can.
But we can't understand why u have that error.
There isn't a system type STOKES, so I believe it's a type defined in some includes or (but I don't think) I can belong to a TYPE POOL.
If it's defined in a include u should have:
TYPES: STOKES TYPE .....
If it belongs to typepool u should have
TYPE-POOLS: .......
If you've a custom program u can define that type of course:
TYPES: STOKES TYPE ....

Hi all,
we are in the process of testing the new ECC 6 EHP 4 system and we came across a very strange problem. Most of the standard transactions like ME21N and VA01 do not work because the system issues an abap dump saying that in the type pool MRM the type MRMIVEXT is unknown.
We have checked SPAU and SPDD and there is nothing in them concerning type group MRM.
Any ideas?

I've solved the problem by creating the structure myself in the system.
Go to SE11 -> Data type -> Enter MRMIVEXT -> Create
In the structure add Component -> .INCLUDE
Component type -> IVEXT
and Component -> .INCLUDE
Component type -> ICDIND
Save and activate.
This will work.

Perl SAP::Rfc - input tables - The specified type Typ rfcdes is unknown.
I am pretty new to SAP and am working to understand the guts of it while also trying to do something useful, especially understanding how we could use Perl Sap::RFC. I've been looking for days and making a little progress over time, but now I'm stuck.
Problem Summary:
I want to read the RFCDES table using RFC_READ_TABLE to get a dump of what's in there. It is apparently too large for a plain RFC_READ_TABLE, but I discovered that by defining the fields that I want, I can get out what I need. I did this by successfully executing RFC_READ_TABLE in SE37 for the RFCDES table by defining entries in the FIELDS table, but I can't figure out the right way to send a table as input to SAP via SAP::Rfc.
Background:
I am using SAP::Rfc v 1.55 on linux with 640,0,303 release of the rfcsdk.
I am getting the error:
RFC call failed: EXCEPT SYSTEM_FAILURE GROUP 104 KEY RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE MESSAGE The specified type Typ rfcdes is unknown. at /home/<userid>/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi/SAP/Rfc.pm line 1055.
Here is my code block (minus connect info):

The parameters to FIELDS are what worked in SE37. I would eventually like to return more than just rfcdest (such as RFCOPTIONS) but at this point, anything working would be good
I have successfully done an RFC_READ_TABLE with SAP::Rfc (using the tables.pl example) so I'm pretty sure I have that working but I think the FIELDS input/output table is throwing me off. Maybe I'm not understanding the array of hashes correctly?
I have looked at the thread SAP-::Rfc with Perl which got me this far but I'm still missing something. Can anyone please help?

whenever declare and execute the this type-pool in alv program , i got this syntax error [ THE TYPE-POOL "FIBS" IS UNKNOWN ] and also i am using *abap trial version software7.0*
in abap trial there is no standard content (nothing like MM, HR etc.). Maybe this module pool is not avaiable in trial as well, because it is a part of some business content. Otto

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else. -

I think that the error comes from the delete statement.
As you already said, the SOURCE_PACKAGE is from BI7.0. That means that the LOOP AT statement cannot be wrong (although I prefer field-symbols)
I would restate you code like below:
DATA: l_tabix TYPE sy-tabix,
wa_source_package TYPE _ty_s_sc_1.
LOOP AT SOURCE_PACKAGE ASSIGNING <source_fields>. "<source_fields> is declared as line from source_package
* l_tabix = sy-tabix.
IF <source_fields>-SALES_EMP IS INITIAL.
DELETE <source_fields> FROM SOURCE_PACKAGE.
* If this line does not work, try to add TABLE after the FROM-statement
*WHERE SALESEMP EQ ' '.
*INDEX l_tabix.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
Hopefully this will help.
Alternatively you can try a single statement, because it is not necessary to do a loop.
DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE WHERE sales_emp IS INITIAL.

Event Log stopped working - Error 1747 : The Authentication Service is Unknown
I reccently noticed that my scheduled tasks were no longer running. I tried to bring up the task scheduler and it said the service was not running. I checked the service and sure enough, it was not running. I tried to start it and it failed because the windows event log service, which is a dependency, was also not running. I tried to start the event log service, and gave the error above in the subject line.
The event log service uses a log on of "Local Service". There are other services that use the same log on and they start up with no problem. I have searched the internet for a solution to this and have tried several things I found with no luck. One was to run SFC, another was to delete the Windows/Logs and Windows/System32/Logfiles folders so they would be re-created on startup. I also tried subinacl to reset the ACLs on registry branches and the subfolders of %SystemDrive% as recommeded in another forum.
I am running Vista Home Premium and all the latest updates have neen applied. Anyone have any further ideas? (short of re-installing Vista).

Hi all. I am an IT technician & have recently been troubleshooting a customer's Windows Vista Home Premium laptop in a wireless home network.
In a nutshell the laptop suddenly stopped connecting to the wireless router; upon investigation I found lots of windows services were not starting; this sent me on a bit of a wild goose chase as this showed all signs of some kind of trojan / malware infection hogging the system. Here are some of the things I saw:
1). Norton 360 wasn't even running correctly & I was unable to view it's firewall status.
2). Windows firewall was disabled & I was unable to start it (service failed error message).
3). I was unable to view windows event logs & received "Error 1747 : The Authentication Service is Unknown"
4). Windows Side Bar was all blanked out & not showing any gadgets
5). I attempted a system restore but that failed (I saw references in system restore that the Bonjour service had been un-installed)
I did loads of further investigation & found this thread. It would appear that removing, or even trying to remove / un-install the Bonjour service may cause the above mentioned issues in windows Vista. I have not seen this kind of errata in windows XP.
I have heard of people pulling their hair out & re-installing the operating system possibly due to experiencing these issues.

Resolution that worked for me:

Winsock corruption can cause connectivity problems. To resolve this issue by using Network Diagnostics in Windows Vista, follow these steps:
1.
Click , and then click Network.
2.
Click Network and Sharing Center.
3.
In the Network and Sharing Center box, click Diagnose and Repair.
Note You may also access the Network and Sharing Center in Control Panel.
If the Network and Diagnostic tool was unable to find a problem, you can manually repair or reset Winsock.
Manual steps to repair or to reset Winsock for Windows Vista users
1.
Click , type cmd in the Start Search box, right-click cmd.exe, click Run as administrator, and then press Continue.
2.
Type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt, and then press ENTER.
Note If the command is typed incorrectly, you will receive an error message. Type the command again. When the command is completed successfully, a confirmation appears, followed by a new command prompt. Then, go to step 3.
3.
Type exit, and then press ENTER
Hey Presto!!!! After re-booting everything is back online & all necessary windows services & norton 360 are starting as normal.

As I understand & in my experience the Bonjour service is installed as a sub-aplet with certain 3rd party software applications including Apples itunes & Adobe newest Creative Suite 3 installs Apple’s Bonjour service even if you don’t install Version Cue. Its main goal is to provide zero-configuration connectivity between Version Cue server and the suite’s applications.

Hi, The server agent was grayed out. I uninstall it from control panel and removed it from agent managed. When I tried to install the agent, it failed. I installed the agent manaully and tried to approve it received the error message
"The service threw an unknown exception. See inner exception for details" I have the details but does not tell me much (I can post it). I removed it from control panel (while still showin in pending),

i am working on an inDesign extension. i have a requirement to go through the document elements. i was able to get all pageItem objects on a doc page.
i am now trying to figure out what is the type of each pageItem so i am using the following code that i found in here:

We are building a scenario Weblogic -> PI through a JMS adapter, but we are getting the following error in the adapter :

Despite the fact that the message is not readable, PI creates a message anyway but the payload is empty. It is the same issue as described in this thread :

But there have been no answer there.
We have read many notes but none are relevant, any ideas ????

Seems it can be either message
a) does not contain any payload and/or
or
b) is not of type TextMessage or BytesMessage

I am attempting to set report parameters in my .jsp code via URL parameters.
I am able to set the report name, server connection dynamically however when attempting to set the Parameters I receive:

The parameter on the report is a String Type, named for this example p1.
The value that p1 represents is LERAD

We are aware of the SAP note, 1270841. But the basis team is unable to implement the note currently. Is there any way that this error can be resolved manually (without the help of the SAP note)?

As a temporary workaround you can modify the class CL_HRPAY00_CLC_UTILITIES.
Just add the type-pool ABAP on the tabstrip Properties to the class definition.
The type-pool ends up in the public section of the class:
class CL_HRPAY00_CLC_UTILITIES definition

*"* public components of class CL_HRPAY00_CLC_UTILITIES
*"* do not include other source files here!!!

Transfering music from audio cd to itunes
I am only able to transfer some tracks from my audio cd's to itunes. In most cases itunes only recognizes the names of the tracks but does not do full transfer of the music, while from some cd's the trasfer works fine. Any ideas? Thanks Marxit
