The URL does not change to the pages i'm clicking to anymore, even when i've moved to a new tab. how do i change this back?

if i type in one url, it just displays that url no matter what page or tab i have moved on on. the 'back' button is also greyed out and doesn't work. i'm using windows vista. this problem started a few days ago.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Photoshop CC does start and terminates under MACOSX Maverick, disconnect/connect to creativecloud does not changes this.

I did install Photoshop CC recently together with LR5. After the CC launch, the program comes up and disappears suddenly. Discconnect and connect to the creativecloud does not change this. LR5 works without problems. Some installation on a second IMAC at a different location does work without problems. For me it looks that CC does not recognize my iCloud permissions.

Hello, I found a Post. I tried this and it works perfectly, you don't have to re-install CC or install CS6 all you have to do is that you install the Nik Collection in Photoshop CC (32bit) (plug ins) then you copy the "Google" File and that is the important one !!

it works perfectly.

Tabset in page fragment , the url does not changes when we select tabs...

i noticed that when we use a tabSet in a page fragment , selecting tabs does not change the current URL ,
is it a correct manner ? I think when we select a tab and it opens another page the url should change.

Safari 5.0 - URL does not change when changing location

I have noticed this on two Macs running 10.6.3. When moving between pages (eg, clicking on a link within a page, or using the Google search bar to locate and load a new page), the URL in the address bar does not change to the new location. It remains at the
This applies whether the new page is within the same domain, or is at a different location.
Specific test: Load http://news.bbc.co.uk in Safari. Towards the top left of the page, there's a link to the BBC home page, which should appear in the status bar as "http://www.bbc.co.uk". Clicking on it will send you to that page, but the URL will remain as the news subdomain. If you click to another tab, then click back, it'll then update correctly.

MIght be corrupted Safari pref files.
Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.
If the problem persists, go to ~/Library/Caches. From the com.apple.Safari folder move the "cache.db" file to the Trash. Relaunch Safari.

The url does not change when navigating to a new site or page. Back button is also inactive.

I launch firefox 3.6.15 and it displays google main page. I perform a google search, get search results, click on a site link, and that page is displayed. All good. Here is the problem I am experiencing. The url for the site, however, is not displayed. Firefox still displays google.com and not the url for the page I am on. Additionally, the back button is inactive. So, I can never navigate back to the previous page. If I type in a url the same thing will happen. Forefox will display the typed in url and not urls for the pages I navigate to and the back button is inactive. Very frustrating.

The URL does not change in the address bar, it always shows the initial URL of the project.

Is it possible to show the exact link when a topic is opened? I only found a workaround by opening the topic in a new tab, clicking the show ToC option and copying the link, but I would not suggest that method to our customers.

Left clicking or right clicking on the new tab button does not open a new tab. Common fixes have been unsuccessful. I don't know what's wrong. It's a recent problem, and even though I'm using an older version of Firefox this hasn't been a problem before.

Try uninstalling the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and the current version of Firefox.

Premiere Pro CS6 does not recognize the USB PnP Sound device in order to produce a commentary sound track. The USB device has been activated on the iMac OSX by using the Audio-MIDI-setup and is working correctly with the iMac. When opening > presets >audio hardware I can only select between >standard >out integrated > digital input integrated >microphone integrated. USB PnP is not indicated at this place.
With the built-in microphone of the iMac I can produce the commentary sound track, but I would prefer a stand alone version for better quality.

I'm using a Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 (which has a microphone on the side). I have several other devices plugged into separate USB slots: a keyboard, a mouse, my iPhone, and a Roland keyboard midi controller.
I've considered that maybe the webcam/mic combo is the culprit. If USB doesn't work at a constant speed, that could very well be causing the issue! The sound begins to lag badly sometimes when it's working properly, so that there's a multisecond delay between speaking and hearing my voice repeated back over the mic which is another sign that something is wrong. I've also caught it making a strange electronic sound during its "hang" time once it stops taking sound input correctly.
Maybe I should try to use line-in and forgo USB altogether then. I think I'd need a preamp and some sort of converter for that since the Mac Mini lacks a powered mic jack. I'm only a newbie musician so I've never set up such a system but it might be a better solution in the long run.
I'll check to see if it hangs before or after my computer enters suspend mode, that's a good suggestion too. Thank you for your help!

The site that is shown is Ask.com, and it changed because when I downloaded iLivid installer I didn't uncheck the boxes that asked me if I wanted to make this change.

I'll list out the steps, but please note that any Ask-related extensions still in Firefox can override your preference, so you might want to check for and either disable or remove any such extension here first:

I updated to Firefox 3.6.13 and now have no Web page previews/thumbnails when I open a new tab - how do I get them back?

Whenever I opened a new tab with older versions of Firefox 3.6.n, I would see thumbnails of some of the pages I'd visited before. I love this feature, but I do not know how to restore it after downloading and installing FF 3.6.13. What do I need to do to get this feature back? Is there a possible conflict with another add-on or toolbar? I have these toolbars: Google, The Free Dictionary, and Amazon.com. (The plug-ins you can see below.) Incidentally, the Firefox version displayed in the "educated guesses" section is not correct: it shows 3.0.11 and using the Help menu and choosing About Mozilla Firefox, it displays 3.6.13.

I did an update, lost all recent history from 6th march and will not let me open a new tab. how can I fix this?

late last week on starting firefox said an update was ready,I said ok,firefox started.
found i had lost recent history(last 7 days).would not let me open a new tab. plus it did not open with the tabs open already.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
