Hi all,
What are the things we can do in main, other than
1. Creating objects and accessing its members.
2. Accessing static members of the same class.

Main is just like another method. You could do anything there!!!! but you should not do all that you should and thats where abstraction and encapsulation come into the picture. What needs to be looked into is what is the main responsibilty you are assigning to a class. What is that you want to expose to the outside world and what is private to the class itself. Are you using the main method for trsting purposes only or is a command line app. Then come in the portability and scalability and flexibility issues. So the main question again would be from a high level of abstraction what is that you want this class to do?

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Before you reinstall the Apple software, also remove iCloud vi Control Panel Remove programs. The reinstall the Apple programs

Your iPhone and iPod can share the same iTunes account. Apps can be freely shared and used by one or both devices. You can't use money in your iTunes account to pay for your phone, but purchased apps can be used by both the iPod and iPhone.

Your iPad needs access to the internet via Wi Fi or 3G in order to access the App Store.
Tap the App Store icon in your iPad.
In the search field top right in the App Store window type in:

As for Safari on your Mac crashing, you can start a new topic and post a crash report so we can try and help.

You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync your content to it.
If you do it via a different computer that it's not normally synced to then (from here) :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

Can't find main class - program will end

Dear forum readers,
Recently upgraded from Win2k pro to XP pro .. installation ran to conclusion w/ no fatal errors BUT upon booting new system I now receive an error message "Java Virtual Machine Launcher can't find main class, program will end" .. I am not aware that this error is causing any problems BUT it is annoying and I'd like to be able to fix the problem so I don't have to close the error message at each startup .. please help!

I think you are trying in windows XP.
Also you need to modify if there are any other jars to be reference. For eg if a.jar is also required for this try as below
java -XbootClasspath/a:a.jar -jar <<Prog name>>

Back up your iPhone and restore from backup. If that's does not help, restore your iPhone as new (not from backup).

I'm in the same boat: new to OS X and Mac, and in the middle of a book. I switched because I heard about the the ease of using Mac, but so far, for me, it's been a nightmare. I bought 2011 Office Mac and hate everything about it, the most recent being the inability to open or cut or paste any of my original word files. I understand that this could have easily been done with earlier versions, but not Mountain Lion (which I learned is what OSX is.) Since I work with language, I am amazed at the assumptions of the Apple community. It helps to use common language and explain even the basics.
So all the helpful hints to use the latest version of Office Mac are to no avail. Now what?

The only thing I can come up with is that I found a blog that said that in the Trial version Photomerge does not work, however I do Not have the Trial version, I did at one time but I purchase Adobe Elements. Thank you.

The blog was incorrect. Photomerge should work in the trial, too.
When things get weird in PSE the first thing to do is to delete the prefs. Go to the editor preferences>general, click this button and restart the editor:

Installing 10g on Windows XP machine JVM launcher "Can't find main class"

I am trying to install 10g Release 2 on a Windows XP machine. I downloaded the zip from the OTN. Unzipped the file. No problems. Tried to run the OUI, it opened up a shell and said to wait. The shell closed and a message frome the JVM Launcher displayed "Can't find main class. Program will exit." I have seen several people on this and other discussion boards having this problem, but have yet to get a solution. Please help.

What's the value of CLASSPATH environment variable? Possibly a non-oracle application has set this variable and the installer catches it. If there is such a variable, comment it out and try again.
