Hi, I have an iPhone 5S and have recently upgraded to the latest version. Whilst searching the Internet this morning I followed a link on Google search which came up wits a small white box in the centre of the screen saying http://android-updates.com **THIS IS NOT A JOKE** Get Your £1,000 Tesco Giftcard Now, Press OK To Claim! I don't want to OK this but I can't move anywhere now. I can't back step to the previous page and if I close down Safari and open it again it is still there. The blue line is part way across the top and no doubt it won't go fully across until I press OK but I really DONT think I should do that! So I'm stuck! I have tried closing down all opened programmes and turning my phone on and off but it hasn't helped. I had recently uptasted a HP All in One Printer App, Google Maps and Around Me App, otherwise,everything was working as usual and I had been searching the Internet on Google for a while. Please can you help me.

You can go to Settings, Safari, Advanced and turn off Javascript
Return to Safari, Close the offending page
Go back and turn on Javascript
This will avoid emptying your history and cookies etc. I do wish they would have the option to only remove selected data on Safari on the iPad. Unless they already do and I can not find it?

Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 - only works for new accounts! You must follow the instructions exactly.
Since you already have an account you probably don't want to make another one (you cannot merge them later). Or I guess you could for the sake of the free stuff and then carefully manage your accounts in future. -
Just switched from safari on my imac. When using search menu in safari I had the option to "find on this page," which was an incredible help while doing research and looking for specific phrases/words. Is there any way to have this feature using firefox?
I think Safari has the same keyboard shortcut as Firefox "command+F" on a Mac or "Ctrl+F" on Windows.
Look in the lower left corner for the Find. There are more likely to be differences in Find Next and Find Previous in the keyboard shortcuts, but continuing at the Find bar at the bottom doesn't matter what browser you use. There is an "X" there to dismiss the Find bar. In Windows the "Esc" key will dismiss the bar if you are within the find text entry area.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. Describe the problem as fully as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -
i have an iphone 3G 16GB 4.2.1 - i moved back to canada and got telus mobile service. they cant get phone working because cellular data network tab/button is not on my phone. How do i get it on there
OK. T-Mobile is NOT owned by AT&T... yet... The deal hasn't gone through yet. T-Mobie's US network is not compatible with the iPhone. Lots of things don't work right. There is not, and never has been an unlocked 3G sold in the US. Don't know where the phone originated, but more than likely it was in the US. If that's the case, the phone has been hacked/jailbroken to get it to work.
Have you tried doing a restore or restoring the phone as new? I have to warn you, if you do so and the phone is hacked/jailbroken, it will re-lock to AT&T and will become unusalbe. I think your best bet right now might be to save yourself a lot of grief and just upgrade to new phone from a legitimate source.
I would never even consider buying an iPhone on ebay. 99% or more are hacked, jailbroken and/or stolen. -

i have a new iphone 5c and i cant get past the security questions. i made my apple account a while ago with an old email. i created a new apple id with my new email but i dont use it. How do i terminate the account with my new email so i can replace my old email? If i reset my security questions will it delete all my stuff?
You can't delete an iTunes account, but you should be able to change the email address that is on it e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and logging into it, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or via http://appleid.apple.com - you should then be able to put it on your old account.
For your security questions on your old account, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on that account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address or don't have access to that email account (you won't be able to add one or change it until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add or update your rescue email address for potential future use
Resetting an account's security questions shouldn't affect any of the purchases that you've made on the account. -

I have an app in my app store that is requiring an update but I never purchased the app and when I click update, another apple ID pops up that is not mine. Now i keep getting reminders to update the app and I cant get rid of it from the app store. Help.
You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, press the key combination command-F to open a search window, or select

from the menu bar. In the search window, select

I have a 15 inch mac book pro running osx 10.5.8. I recently moved to Florida and switched to Comcast (the only option). Now when I access my bank website, I can get past the login to my account page but the data is permanently unavailable. The bank says no one else has this problem. Everything is up to date as far as software is concerned. . .I just update anything that comes up. I have not had this problem with this computer anywhere else and I am not having a problem with any other website. I have the problem with both Safari and Google Chrome.
