Third party gaming keyboard backlight - Terminal error

I have a third party gaming keyboard that the backlight does not work on.
I used to have a workaround using the HID LED test tool, but now whenever I run this I get a "Trace/BPT trap: 5" error in terminal.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

So i just purchased a 3rd party CM Storm Devastator keyboard and it is compatible for both PC and Mac, it is a pc keyboard but i just remapped the keys so its all good, but the backlight toggle is on the SCROLL LOCK button. For some reason when I press the SCROLL LOCK button it doesn't turn on. When I plugged the keyboard into my sisters's PC (eww pc) the SCROLL LOCK button for the backlight worked perfectly. Is there a separate command for Macs to activate scroll lock? Thanks.

it's not my code. i've just found it on the internet.
for me it works.
I've a 3rd party CM Storm Devastator keyboard.
In a Windows enviroment the backlit can be switched on/off by the "scroll lock" key.
In Linux the backlit can be switched on/off by the "scroll lock" key too (but before it works this function must be activated by command "xmodmap -e 'add mod3 = Scroll_Lock'").
In MacOSX 10.9.2 i've found these HID-LED-test-tool.
The HID-LED-test-tool generates some output:
as you can see there are two "device" entries. the second one seems to be the external CM Storm Keyboard. the backlight is on, when the the third value is "0x000000001".

Third party internal keyboard-

Seeing as Apple still hasn't upgraded the keyboards on its Ibook's, and my warr~ is almost up, i'm curious as to if anyone knows of a third party internal keyboard? I searched around a bit and found a touchstream bit that looked interesting, but sadly the company has gone out of business.

You can find the Apple Bluetooth card on eBay for as little ten dollars (says its for the 2008 model Mac Pro, not sure about the 2007).

Just make sure that the part will work in your model Mac Pro. To that end, you may be better off avoiding eBay and going to a parts reseller. There are even third party cards that use the internal Apple bluetooth slot.

In theory, using a USB or PCI card will work at login so long as it is recognized by Apples drivers. You say you need to launch an application to use your current USB Bluetooth dongle? If it is not controlled by the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar then it must be using a third party driver of some sort. Unfortunately, I don't know off hand which USB and PCI cards are supported.

Third Party (Garnishment) checks - RFC destination error

We have an issue with our testing of Third Party Garnishment checks. We have a split system, with our HCM system residing separately from the remaining ECC modules.
We are getting an error in regards to the printing of the checks in A/P.
The posting is working fine
the vendor account is cleared
However, It’s not creating a check # or check form.
We can do other check runs in this client fine; it’s just the 3PR runs that cause the error.
The text of the error message is as follows: An RFC destination could not be specified for the logical system HPQCLNT210.
We have exhausted our resources here looking into the RFC connection and the partner profile and we cannot find anything wrong with them.
Can someone offer suggestions on what else we could check? Thanks so much.

Did you check below is set-up correctly.
- Use transaction SM59 to create an RFC destinations for the remote system.
- Use transaction BD54 to create the logical system.
- Use transaction BD97 to link the RFC destination created in SM59 with the logical system created in BD54.
Also, check entries in TBLSYSDEST is filled with correct system name HPQCLNT210. Generally this error occurs when system name is incorrect in TBLSYSDEST.

Third Party Hosting Muse Site - 404 Error on Mobile

Hi guys,
I recently exported my Adobe Muse site files (pixelariumstudio.com), uploaded them into FileZilla, and then uploaded the site to GoDaddy hosting services using FileZilla.
The site looks great on desktops but I receive a 404 error whenever I try to view the site on mobile devices (even tablets). I called GoDaddy thinking it was a problem on their end but after two opinions from two separate calls, I've been informed it's the code of the site itself that is the problem. The funny thing is, when the site was hosted through Adobe, it appeared fine on mobile devices but when the site was moved over to GoDaddy, the 404 error arose.
I'm wondering if Muse writes specific code for displaying a site in mobile browsers that is not recognized by third party hosting services because GoDaddy is not redirecting the site to the mobile view and instead just coming up with a 404 error. If so, is there any way to change the code that Muse writes to display the site on mobile devices so that GoDaddy can recognize it? I've done some research online to see what basic code is used to redirect a site to the mobile view but all I came up with was:

Every guide I find says to place that tag right after the <head> and I do but still no luck getting the website to display on mobile devices. If anyone knows the proper coding to get GoDaddy to display a Muse site on mobile devices, I would forever be in your debt. Sounds like you haven't uploaded all the files exported by Muse.
Specifically, it looks like you didn't upload the 'phone' folder.
If you use Filezilla or another 3rd party FTP tool, you have to be sure to upload all the files exported by Muse for your site to work correctly.
You can also use the 'Upload to FTP host...' menu item within Muse to upload all the files to your web hosting provider.

ADF does not recognize third party component tag. Namespace error.

Hi,
Go to OB40 and assign you account to your combination if its not there.
It should be assigned to your chart of account number and sales organization.
Just do these setting and go to VF02 and press the green flag after giving you billing document number.
If everything is right then accounting document will be generated.
Otherwise some error will pop out then post that error over here.

Third Party Dll (WinSCP) throwing runtime error in script task

I am trying to implement SFTP automation in SSIS. I used winscp assemblies to achieve this task. During compile time, I have no errors. When i try to run it, i am getting below runtime error (Refer image).
So i tried to install the assembly in GAC. But i am getting "undefined BI " error . Please find the assembly link to download (http://winscp.net/eng/download.php). I am really looking for some guidance on this. Any other idea to achieve the

i am going to buy a bluetooth mouse plus keyboard combo.

when i am doing the process for third party sales i got the error at billing level.
i rasied the sales order with item category TAS and got the requisetion number. with that reference PR i did PO and done the migo also. when i am doing the invoice with reference to order system is shopwing error message.
I configured and checked at item level which is TAS order related billing with B and F also.

since its third party before you do billing you also need to do that MIRO ie invoice verification. Then do the billing with billing relvance as F- order related billing status accoring to invoice qty. And i only you have MIGO if at all only as statistical, since in third party we dont receive the stock physically into our plant. It directly goes from vendor to customer.

Third-party keyboard and mouse

Im buying a third-party USB keyboard and mouse, as quoted in the FAQ. I cannot afford the original keyboard and mouse because here in Brazil theyre extremely expansive. But some of these third-party sets have an indication: for both windows and MAC OS, and some dont. Does that mean that the ones without the indication will not work? Or it only means that these with the indication have been projected more properly? The equivalent keys quoted in the FAQ are not rare, on the contrary, they exist in any keyboard the one with the windows sign (equivalent to the apple sign) and the ALT command, equivalent to the optinons, right? Is there any other special care I should have when buying them?

It means that the ones with the indication that it is "for both windows and Mac OS" will work on both Windows and Mac but will generally have the Windows style keyboard.
About the time I ordered my Mini, I ordered one of the Windows/Mac compatible keyboards from one of the major online stores. I was concentrating on the fact that the KB was compatible with the Mac and not being aware of the keys being Windows style. It's a nice KB but I'm sorry that I didn't buy a dedicated Mac KB because I keep forgetting which Windows key relates to which Mac key. It's not a major hassle but an annoying inconvenience when referring to a Mac manual and having to translate Mac keyboard instructions to my Windows layout KB.

Third party keyboard?

The issue with Ibook keyboards is really becoming quite a hassle. I use mine constantly, and am now on my sixth one since I purchased the computer last November. They wear out quicker than any keyboard I have ever seen, and even though this is a KNOWN issue, Apple has done very little to correct it, (other than sending out new keyboards, assuming you get a rep who knows his head from his...eh) as I see it happening with current gen Ibooks as well. Tonight, I went in search of third party internal keyboards (I use my Ibook when i'm on the road- an external keyboard isn't an option). I found one, the Touchstream. Looked like a wonderful setup- Only problem being, the company that produced them is now defunct. So now i'm wondering, if one company has done it, perhaps others have as well? Does anyone know of any third-party Ibook internal keyboards? My warrenty is about up, and I certainly can't afford 100 dollars for these shoddy Ibook keyboards every three months.

I've bought most of my replacement keyboards from powerbookmedic.com, although the last time I needed one, that store didn't have any in stock, and I had to buy the keyboard from some other online store. I forget the name of it, perhaps because it was about 50% more expensive than powerbookmedic.com. Nonetheless, I can't help you on the price. Even powerbookmedic.com is over $100.
Our problem with the iBook keyboard is less its design than the children and the dog.

Function Keys in Third Party Keyboards

My alluminum extended Mac keyboard went on the fritz after three years, though I admit I may have been cleaning it incorrectly. Anyway, I bought a third party generic keyboard that is more Mac like than Windows like, and it's working pretty well except that most of the funcion keys do not work. I can't get Play, Previous, or Forward for instance. Volume works and a couple of the Mission Control buttons work as well. Other functions such as Show Desktop were reassigned to shortcuts like ^↓. I tried adding function keys for menu items in iTunes and restarting, but the keys just beep at me when I press them. I tried adding a modifier key but no effect. I've been restarting through the troubleshooting but have not otherwise reset anything (pretty much just working through Keyboard Preferences).
Not too bad really, but it would be nice to get some functionality back into the function keys. But maybe this is as good as it gets? Thanks.

You cannot get it be exactly like an Apple keyboard, but you can adjust it as much as possible:
- reversing the order of keys in sys prefs/keyboard/modifier keys (you may modify 4 such keys)
- add 3rd party utilitites for monitor brightness (Shades: http://www.charcoaldesign.co.uk/shades ) and sound (I understand you have sound, others do not, if using a non-Apple keyboard: PTHVolume)
- DoubleCommand to make other changes, e.g. right Enter key to work as Option key (useful for some notebooks, mainly)

3rd party bluetooth keyboard not connecting to Mac

I have a 3rd party bluetooth keyboard that works fine on m iphone,
When I try to connect it to my Mac, the keyboard is discoverable as "Bluetooth Keyboard" where it always fails at the pairing process.
"The pairing attempt was unsuccessful. This configuration of Mac OSX and bluetoot software could be invalid or unsupported."
The bluetooth on my Mac connects fine to my trackpad.
Is there any reason why this shouldnt work on my Mac and is there any way to get it working?

I had the same problem with my third party bluetooth keyboard. When pairing, I could enter the passphrase but then the RETURN button would not register to complete the pairing and it would give me the same error message. It seems to work if you pair the keyboard by going into System Preferences>Keyboard>Set Up Bluetooth Keyboard instead of using the Bluetooth Setup Assistant.
