Third party PO requirements in MD04

Hi All,
  I have created a third party PO but it's requirements are not passed on to MD04.
  Could any body please throw light on this problem?

Hi Kiran ,
When you are creating an third party order in the sytem ,it does not effect the stock in your system ,as it is sent to the vendor instead of plant.
In the general scenario when we create an order aganist a plant the quantity will be deliverd to the plant mentioned in the order.
This is the standard behavior .

    I do not believe so. I dont believe the iPhone could even utilize a third party conduit program. It should sync just fine. As of right now the iPhone will only talk to iTunes for means of syncing.

    you can choose a flat file on the application server and then transffer the file from the application server to other server where you want to use.
    in case you want to use the table in the open hub service. any other software that can connect to oracle db / the databasee you have and can access the data from the table.

  • Cloning is third party software required?

    I'm getting ready to update my hard drive to a hybrid in a brand new 2012 13 mac book pro but couldn't find a clear answer.  Do I need an outside program like superduper or can i just use disk utilities?
    I saw the following answer but it was back in 2007

    How to Clone Using Restore Option of Disk Utility
    1. Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
    2. Select the backup or destination volume from the left side list.
    3. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (journaled, if available) and click on the Erase button. This step can be skipped if the destination has already been freshly erased.
    4. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
    5. Select the backup or destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.

    7. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
    8. Select the destination drive on the Desktop and press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window.     You can use Disk Utilities to clone your hard drive, some people prefer CCC and others, but I think Disk Utility is just fine.  If you use something like TimeMachine, you could also do a full install and restore on the new drive.

  • THIRD PARTY PO and MD04

    Hello Gurus....
    Had issue with third party PO's as they do not appear in the MD04 requirement list , and came to know after searching across the internet that its not possible have the third party PO's in MD04 as the stock doesnt come to plant or to be specific GR is not done for the plant.
    So is there any way out to check out for which material and plant the drop ship PO has been created , any kind of report or a tcode similar to MD04 .

    Yes - it is correct that this purchase order will not appear in MD04 - there is no stock posting.
    Anyway - I think you have to use a transaction like ME2M or ME2L and you maybe have to customize a special selection criteria.
    A second way is that you maybe can also use a transaction out of the SD-module - but this is depending on the process....

  • Third Party Processing in SRM 4.0

    Hi,
    We are working on Third Party Processing in SRM4.0 & SAP R/3 4.7.
    We were able to transfer the Third party Requisition from Backend R/3 to SRM 4.0 Sourcing Cockpit as an External Requirement.
    When we try to process the Third Party External Requirement to create a PO in Sourcing Cockpit, the system is not identifying the Customer Number as a Business Partner in SRM 4.0 and it is throwing a dump with the error message <b>'Partner xxxxxxxxxx not found'</b>
    Please help us to understand the procedure for replicating the Backend R/3 Customer Masters and its Address into SRM 4.0
    Where can i find documentation for Third Party Processing in SRM 4.0 as i could not find anything in SAP Help
    Please do let me know if you need any details/clarifications

    All you have done is fine.
    As per you SO - PR is already automated, now to automate PO creation from PR:
    Do the following thing:
    1. Activate u2018Automatic PO' indicator for material master
    2. Activate u2018Automatic PO' indicator for vendor master
    3. The purchase requisitions with vendor assignments are converted into POs by a batch job using transaction ME59/ME59N and ABAP program with requisite parameters.
    This ensures automatic creation of POs.
    So result: When SO is saved PR and corresponding PO will be generated automatically.
    Your problem will be solved.

  • Third party sales MM config

    Hi,
    We have a third party sales requirement and i need  to configure the MM part from when the sales order triggers a PR to Invoice recept which will update the billing document for the customer.
    Would be really grateful if someone can guide preferrably starting from the creation of sales order.

    I work for a third-party application provider that is considering the feasibility of integrating with Oracle Portal. Does registration as a third-party provider require the transference (delivery) of all of only our meta-data our all of our content onto Oracle's servers?     Thanks for your interest! To answer your first question: No, transferring metadata or data to Oracle servers certainly isn't typical, nor is it at all a requirement in order to become a third-party provider! You can certainly host your content directly from your firm..
    Is your company planning to provide portlets to the community of Oracle9iAS Portal customers? If so, then feel free to learn more about how your firm can join The Oracle Portal Partners Initiative.
    On the other hand, if you are just thinking of hosting content for your own intranet for display thru your own installation of Oracle9iAS Portal, you won't need to have any of Oracle's own servers involved at all! To test things out, we do, however have a site available called portalstudio.oracle.com, which allows customers to test and present how one might integrate web content into an Oracle 9iAS Portal installation.

    im totally new to this forums and im learning active directory im using 2008 version of AD with more than 60 clients computer member of this ad domain everything works fine including gpo but i have a big problem. in accounting department they have a third
    party software everytime they run the program asking domain administrator account. i dont want to expose my ad admin access i tried also give admin permission on the third party folder on client computer which this accounting program installed but nothing
    works. can anyone enlighten me how to solve my problem.

    Its possible that the third party software required local admin permissions to run and the user that run the application is not member of that group.
    Try adding one of the user to the local administrator group and see if that solve the issue.

  • Self made trigger for third party device?

    Hi, everyone! I am new to labview programming. 
    Recently I have been trying to realize a function to trigger(or start) the third party device to do acquisition. I want to use the DAQmx to acquire one channel signal(which is continous pulse signal). And use this DAQmx acquired signal to trigger the third party device. I want each pulse signal to start the third party device to do acquisition.
    Could someone give me some advice or suggestions? I would be grateful for any of your help. Thanks in advance.

    Thank you very much. I am glad to get your reply. First I am sorry for my lack of knowledge of Labview. I will learn and be more careful of using the terminology. 
    I have "NI PCI-6052E" as the hardware device. And I use "BNC-2120" connector block to connect the trigger source. I useonly one channel of 6052E to acquire the signal. This trigger signal actually is periodic pulse signal of voltage ranging from 0 to 5V. The pulse voltage is 0V, all other are 5V. 
    I give my answers to your questions as followings.
    What kind of signal does the third party device require for triggering?Is it a physical signal like a voltage or current?
    The third party device actually doesn't have to use this pulse trigger to start, I just want to make a customized trigger to sync the third party device with the pulse signal. And each pulse make the device start working. This pulse trigger is a voltage signal that can be linked to 6052E by BNC connectors.
    Is it a message transmitted via USB, Ethernet, or tin cans and a string?
    I am sorry, I don't get this. I guess it transmitted by BNC.
    What is the timing of the signal you are acquiring? 
    I used the sample clock in DAQmx timing function. 
    How much latency can you tolerate between the acquired signal and the trigger to the third party device?
    I actually can control the interval time between each pulse. I require this interval time to be more than 1s and during this time the third party device can do acquisition itself. So the latency I think should be in the range of ms.
    Do you need to do any signal processing or analysis on the acquired signal to generate the trigger?
    The trigger signal is pulse signal. Actually I don't know much about signal processing, I don't know what kind signal is better for my application. If you have any better idea, please let me know.

  • Disabling a Third Party Drive/Moto​r thru a Relay

    I can’t seem to get my INHOUT signal to disable my drive/motor.  I have the PCI-7342 Stepper/Servo Motion Controller with the UMI-7764 connected to a third party drive and servo motor.  My third party drive requires a constant 24 volt signal to enable my drive/motor.   I have the INHOUT connected to a relay in order to control this 24 volt signal.  When there is 5 volts at my relay this will enable my drive, when the 5 volts goes low then my drive will be disabled.  I have the drive wired up per the attached schematic.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    If you use the source current of the INH output it probably will not be able to drive a 5V relay. Jochen's calculations are valid for the limiting current, i.e. the current where the output voltage will be zero. With a resistive output the output voltage will depend on the current needed by the relay coil and will never reach 5V.
    It is better practice to use the 64mA sink capability of the INH output. But of course in this case the relay will be activated when the output is low. In your case you may wire the relay between +5V (do NOT use the +5V pin of the 734x connector!!! - you may use a +5V terminal of the UMI box provided your UMI power supply can supply the UMI box plus the relay current) and INH, and use the N.O. contact of the relay.
    If this is not desired I would suggest to add an extra output transistor (any small signal transistor can sink 100mA or more) connected as an inverter or a driver IC such as an ULN2803. A single transistor has a saturation voltage of less than 0.5V, and most, if not all, relays rated at 5VDC will switch reliably at 4.5V. Check the relay specs for the 'must on' voltage.
    Never, I said NEVER, connect a relay to a semiconductor device without a snubber diode. The diode should be connected across the coil terminals (and close to them), with the cathode to the (+) terminal. It will short the inducted high voltage when the relay is de-energized. Some relays have integrated snubber diodes.
    Also, I see from your diagram that the emergency switch can be operated at a certain relay position only. At least in Germany this would be illegal since the emergency switch has to be independent from any other control circuitry.

  • Requirements not passing for third party orders

    Hi...I have a problem that I am hopeful there is an answer to. On the SD side we have third party orders that when entered automatically create purchase requisitions.  Previously, those requirements were passed through and were visible in MD04. 
    We are currently in the process of implementing an external planning system (not APO), however, the users made the decision that the 3rd party orders would not be planned or facilitated in the new system.  So as I set up the MRP type for external planning I have run into a problem.  For some reason I can get all requirements to show in md04 except the third party orders.  Standard OR's transfer, and I can see all other details, but the requriement for the third party order will not.  the requirements did transfer prior to the change of the MRP type.   On the order this has not impacted the schedule line category or the requirement type, so I don't see any reason from that side why they wouldn't transfer.
    Any direction on this would be appreciated.

    No, the problem is not that requisition isn't created.  The problem is that the information is not being displayed in the planning screens.  It creates the purchase requisition but you cannot see it in any of the MRP screens.  The problem is the visibility in screens like MD04.  It is true, that if the PR is created automatically then a requirement had to be transferred, but I also need to be able to see that requirement.  Thanks for clarifying.

    Hello all,
    I can't open a PP project without this error message appearing:
    "The preset used by one or more sequences in this project requires third-party components that could not be located. These sequences will be modified to use a custom sequence setting instead. To continue editing using the original preset, quit the application without saving the project, reinstall any third-party components that are required and reopen the project".
    What I had been doing before this occurred was editing a PP project using ProRes sequences and multi-camera editing. Multi-camera was not working very well and after a few attempts to fix that I gave up and finished the job cutting 3 layers of video instead. AME refused to render the three finished sequences of over 1hr duration so rendered final videos from the PP sequences.
    I tried deleting plists for AME, PP and QT, repairing disc permissions and rebooting but there was no improvement.
    Client is satisfied for now but will want to come back to this job at a later date so decided to uninstall and re-install AME and PP in the hope both would be ready to work properly when needed again. AME works fine in conjunction with a different PP project but now I can't open the PP project in question without the above error message appearing.
    Having searched the net it would seem that the problem may be caused by ProRes but I haven't been able to find a definitive solution for the problem. Does anyone know either:
    1. How to fix this?
    2. If I chose the "modified using a custom sequence setting", can I be sure that my sequences will look the same even if they don't use ProRes? The final deliverable format will be mp4 so as long as the overall look doesn't change then I can  afford a change in the edit codec. It's just that with three sequences over an hour long, I don't want days of work to be ruined.
    Other older PP projects of mine open and work fine.

    Adobe web chat come up with a solution.
    Open the PP project.
    Export your sequence or project as a Final Cut Pro XML file.
    Set up a new PP project.
    Import the Final Cut Pro XML file.
    This will get you back up an running.
    Since getting back to editing this project I have found that some things will be lost or change in using XML:
    You will lose position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, audio dynamic fx, the ability to open a multi camera clip and change the camera view.
    You will keep cut points, crop fx.
    Not perfect but only took a couple of hours to save 3 days work.

    We create third party orders where material is directly shipped to our customer from our vendors, material does not come to our inventory, why such orders appear in MD04 , not only orders the PO created for such delivery also appears, we use planning strategy 40 for the material.
    I will appreciate If any one can explain why such orders should appear in MD04 and affect planning.
