Third Party VPRS cost needs to be redetermine in F2 invoice.

HI All,
Can anybody tell me how we can update VPRS in billing as per MIRO invoice. following are the steps that i am following to process this process:
1-Sales Order with item category TAS and purchase Req authomatically created.
2-Purchase order created with ref to PR.
3-Inbound Dlivery create with ref to PO
4-MIRO create with ref to inbound delivery
5- create customer invoice for two material
a- with value
b without value
a-with value vprs is comming from material master
b-without value is now showing any value.
thanx in advance.....
Regards,
Danish

Hello
As per the standard Third party process, cost in the billing document will be picked from Invoice receipt of the vendor (MIRO).
Basically here the cost determination happens from below three sources.
1. MIRO (invoice receipt of Vendor)
2.Goods receipts (MIGO )
3.Purchase order
Highest priority is given to the number 1. MIRO.
In your both the cases, kindly check MIRO price & quantitiy.
thank you

  • Third-Party Order - Cost from PO incl. Freight into Sales Invoice

    Hello SD gurus,
Had a question about drop shipments(Third Party Orders). At our company, the third-party order related PO sometimes has Freight/Customs conditions, but they do not come on to the VPRS(cost) condition on the corresponding Sales Invoice. What should I do to make them add up on VPRS?
See sample PO conditions and history tabs below
You can see the correct amount(including freight) shows up as cost of goods sold(in the accounting doc for its GR document) below
But the VPRS line on the sales invoice only shows the GR amount, does not include freight/customs charges as seen below
Is there any way I can get VPRS to include the Freight/Customs amounts as well. Please help me out....
My third-party order copy control VTFA configuration for OR =>F2 for ItemCategory TAS, the billing quantity is currently set to F.
Document Flow for our drop-ship orders is as follows: Creation of sales order triggers creation of a purchase requisition which in-turn gets converted into a PO. Once the GR happens on this Vendor PO the Goods Issue and Sales Invoice is triggered immediately. The Vendor IR comes last.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Calling third party application that needs the HttpServletRequest parameter

    Hi,
I am doing the customizations to the Webcenter portal(since the issue is specific to ADF, I am posting the thread in this group) wherein I need to invoke a Java API provided by third party. That Java API expects the HttpServletRequest parameter.
To obtain the HttpServletRequest , I used the below code: -
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    HttpServletRequest request =
    +(HttpServletRequest)context.getExternalContext().getRequest();+
Besides, I need to set some parameters to the request, as the API needs those parameters to connect to the 3rd party application. Hence I have set the attributes as below: -
    request.setAttribute("HttpProxyHost", "https://thirdparty.com");
    request.setAttribute("HttpProxyPort", "2021");
    request.setAttribute("HttpProxyUser", "abcd");
    request.setAttribute("HttpProxyPass", "efgh");
The call to the API works fine when tested standalone. But after deploying this to the application, I see the following issue.
The ADF application interacts with other 3rd party applications too. Once the above code is executed, the application is trying to connect to the above host(https://thirdparty.com) only for the subsequent requests from any user of that application, even if the actual call is meant to connect to different hosts.
Can I create a custom servlet class to invoke the Java API? If so, how can I call that servlet API from my ADF managed bean?
Even if I create a custom servlet, the parameters that I set like HttpProxyHost will persist, right?
    Please provide any suggestions
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    1) what is the problem you think makes this specific to ADF?
    2) Have you tried : http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/networking/urls/connecting.html
Your requirement of changing a request that is in process sounds weird to be honest

  • Third party routers that need no firmware update

What are the best third party WiFi routers with LAN ethernet ports that need no firmware update to work with 10.4.8 and Windows XP?

Actually the extra ethernet ports is paramount.
Otherwise you don't know who is being secure to
whom. You end up having two routers to setup for
    configuration of security. Simplicity is
important, since I want to be able to help set it up
for the friend, and forget it.
?? That doesn't make any sense - I think you're missing something fundemental here. The extra ethernet ports are on the LAN side of the secure connection. The firewall in the router isolates the internal, LAN network (wireless + ethernet) from the external WAN (aka the big bad internet). Whether or not you have a switch attached to one of the LAN ports makes no difference, security-wise - you are in control of the devices connected to the LAN side of the router. WEP/WPA/WPA2 security controls who is able to connect to the wireless LAN.
From a security standpoint, there is ABSOLUTELY no difference between buying a router with eight lan ports and buying a router with four lan ports plus plugging in a five-port switch to one of the lan ports. It's exactly the same thing.
What you don't control is the WAN side of things - the internet itself. You certainly wouldn't want to connect the switch to the WAN port on the router, at least not unless you wanted to run, say, a web server that is exposed to the internet itself. This wouldn't be a good idea in any case - there are better ways to set this up as well (either by setting up a DMZ, or by setting up port forwards)
There is absolutely no reason why you would want or need two routers for this setup - this is only an issue for extremely large networks.
The WRT54G has 1 WAN port and four LAN ports. You can have four hardwired devices (computers, printers, switches, etc) on these LAN ports - they are protected from the internet by the firewall in the router. You can also have any number of wireless devices on this same router; these, as well, are on the LAN side of the router, and are therefore protected.
Adding a switch to the LAN side of the router has absolutely no impact on security. No additional routers would be required.

  • Third Party process - billing date change in Sales order / Customer Invoice

    Dear Friends,
In Third Party Sales Process , as we are aware  billing is order related billing and it will become due only after vendor invoice is received.
My situation is in the original sales order billing date is eg: 01.02.2009 . The subsequent vendor invoice ( Invoice receipt done based on PR --> and PO)  has a later date eg: 05.02.2009 .
This means that the customer biling can be done only after this date.
How the system behaves in this case wrt to the billing date ( 01/02/2009) of the original sales order.
    Regards
    Mahesh

    Hi all ,
Thanx all for your responses . But my case is a bit peculiar . Here the vendor invoice is coming by IDoc through EDI . When EDI flow is confirmed, the billing date is pushed ahead. As per billing calendar  in CMR the customer can be invoiced only on the last date of the month.
As a result if the original billing date in the sales order is Feb end, when vendor invoice received through EDI , the billing date is shifting to march end .
Is it because the date of vendor invoice is causing this?  Obviously the customer billing date falls only after vendor invoice date.

  • Costs in Third-Party Business Transaction

In Third Party order processing the value of VPRS is taken from the vendor billing document.
In billing document copying control at item level for position type TAS we have indicator F in the Billing Quantity (FKMGK)
How to setup Customizing so the system determines the cost for third-party order processing from the value of the vendor invoice plus proportional statistic conditions (for example, cash discounts or statistical freight)  Now the system only includes the goods value in condition VPRS?

    Hi,
In third party scenario what ever be vendor invoice value is become cost when creating billing with reference to order
Also billing type F is proper this is for what ever quantity invoiced by vendor same can be copied in customer invoice.
    Process :
    VA01 - Sales order (item category TAS)  >> ME52N - P.R (after SO save) >> ME21N -  P.O >> Vendor ship goods to our customer >> MIRO - Vendor Invoice reciept >> VF01- Customer invoice(wrt sales order)

  • Manufacturing with a third party, How to control cost and automate

JDE E1 v8.12 will be upgrading to 9.0
I am new to this so if someone has ideas or point me in the right direction. You see we Order a supply of Wrappers, Trays(Boxes) and Master Shippers(Cases). This is put into inventory . We Only ship out amount needed to our third party when orders need to be filled, (Our 3rd party completes of finished goods). Rest of the Wrappers, etc are stored in our warehouse.
iInventory adjustments are done when sending to our 3rd party. When we buy the wrappers etc creates a large negative variance which floats on our books, It takes about 2-6 months to offset the variance. Our 3rd party makes our finished goods and we send them the packing etc, so our 3rd receives Wrappers, etc to complete finished Product
We are charged for Labor and the finished product.
The things we want to keep track of is
    labor(3rd party)
    Finished product(3rd party)
    Wrappers
    incurring a (+- 5%)Spoilage of wrappers
    Boxes
    Freight*
iWe get hit with freight cost 3 times
    (1)     1st cost freight to 3rd party
    (2)     2nd cost freight back to us
    (3)     3rd cost freight out to the DC( Distribution Centers)
Things we would like to automate
    •     Be able to place a PO for finished goods to 3rd party
    •     The system knows and states what components are needed to complete the finished goods(So we can monitor it)
    •     The system flags when more components needs to be ordered(so our supply does not fall below our benchmark)
Within manufacturing this product wewant to be aware of our prime cost
    Prime Cost
    1)     Direct material
    2)     Labor
    3)     Other direct cost(e.g. packaging and royalties)
Since we send our material (packing only) to a third party to complete the finished good, within the manufacturing suite. We can we use? Do we have to have manufacturing account as well? .
    Any suggestion would be received.
    Thanks

Control the process with Outside Process Work Orders. You create a Work Order and a parts list in the normal way but have a two step routing, the first step is the Outside Process done by the Third Party and the second step is receipt of the goods back from them (JDE will not allow an Outside process to be the last step on a routing)
With the first operation you will need a OP item number, this is part number which is made up of the Item being manufactured plus the characters OP plus the operation number, this part number represents the service that the 3rd party is providing and is set up as a Stock Type X, Line Type X
When you run R31410 to attach the parts list it will automatically raise a Purchase Order on the 3rd party
You can then issue the parts to the Work Order in the normal fashion and since you have a P/O for the manufacturing process this will acount for the 3rd party labour
Look on Oracle Support for document 647965.1

  • VPRS - cost not updating with Subsequent Debit

We have an issue with the VPRS price in VF03 not updating if a subsequent debit is processed after initial vendor invoice and customer billing has been processed. (for third party processing)
There is no problem if a vendor invoice and subsequent debit is processed before customer billing.  There is also no problem if if a vendor invoice and subsequent debit is processed after customer billing.  There is only an issue when the vendor invoice is received first, then customer billing then subsequent debit applied.
Can someone describe how the VPRS on the billing document is updated in SAP? Any information on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
In the order, the cost is generally taken from the valuation segment
of the material master. In the billing document, however, it may have
other sources. Depending on the business transaction, the costs can be taken from the goods issue of the billed delivery or, in the case of a
third-party order processing or individual purchase order, from the
respective purchase order, the goods receipt or the invoice verification in purchasing. As an example, only the goods issue will be mentioned here. However, the descriptions also apply to costs from purchase orders, goods receipts or invoice verifications. These costs are entered externally in pricing and included in the value of the VPRS condition. The amount is obtained by calculating back amount = value / quantity.
    Thanks
    Krishna.

  • COPA - Third Party Drop Ship Returns - Vendor Discounts

    Hello -
This is challenging so I hope some of you can help me please!
Can anyone explain to me how vendor discounts work in copa as they relate to third party drop ship returns?  We use net vendor invoices where discount is taken at time of vendor posting and offset by clearing account.
We have several scenarios where we cannot reconcile FI and COPA for COGS account because of the discount on the vendor credit memo.
    An example:
We have created the sales order and purchase order for the process.  Then we do a migo and a miro from the vendor.
The vendor document has a discount of 1%, so if it costs $100, here is the accounting:
    MIGO -
    dr. cogs 100
    cr. gr/ir 100
    miro
    dr. vendor discount clearing 1
    cr. cogs 1
    dr. gr/ir 100
    cr vendor 100
    then we bill the customer.
Copa at this point gets hit with 99 debit to cogs value field (100 -1 =99)
then we process the customer credit memo request.
Then we process the vendor miro credit.
    dr. cogs 1
    cr. vendor discount clearing 1
    dr. vendor 100
    cr. gr/ir 100
At the time the vendor credit memo is posted, sap inserts a new copa line-item on the customer billing document with $1.00 debit to copa.
    then we reverse migo
    dr. gr/ir 100
    cr cogs 100
And then we bill the customer credit memo, which creates another copa document that credits copa with $99.00.  why doesn't this create a copa document of -$100.  this would help tie out copa and fi.
If you go through and look at all cogs postings on FI side, the credits and debits = 0
If you go through and look at the cogs posting in COPA, the credits and debits = 1
therefore, fi and co don't tie.
please give me any ideas that might help me.

    Hi Valerio,
Have you found any solution for your issue?
We have a similar problem with 3rd party drop ship orders and COPA. Cost of Goods Sold Drop Ship is being charged when we use MR11 to clear GR/IR account. This is causing reconciliation issues between COPA and the General Ledger.
Let me know if you have come across any clues?
    Thanks.

  • How can you handle Third Party Payment in Oracle Payroll

People I hope you all are at your Good Health!
I have a question and that is i would like to know how i can restrict a dependent from getting an Insurance benefit after he has crossed the Age =18 Also the To date must be calculated and populated automatically.
Also, how can we handle this third party payment in the Oracle Payroll.
    All comments are welcomed.
    Chetan

For the payment piece, create a payment method on the person record as a third party. you would need to have setup the recieving party as a third party organization before setting up at employee level.
During normal payroll processing, you may run Third party check writer to generate a check .
Ankur thank you for the response i have understood that we must create a Payment Method and Check the Check box for Third party Payment on Payment Method window. But how will that be handled for case where an employee has taken a Loan from a Bank and he has to be deducted every month from his salary how can we handle such a requiremet.
I did not understand when you said :
"you would need to have setup the recieving party as a third party organization before setting up at employee level.
During normal payroll processing, you may run Third party check writer to generate a check ."
    Could you please explain me.

  • What are Third Party Applications??

I just want to know what they are since i'm confused with them... They sound illegal but i've seen them in the apple store as alarm clocks.

    midgetwars wrote:
ohhhh... Thnx so third party apps are every app apart from like 10apps made from apple??
    Yes.
then why would the alarm clock that i have need to say that it is a third party apps and needs to stay open for it to work?
It's probably saying that since it isn't an Apple application, it won't run in the background. However, with the latest update (iOS 4) it may be possible to find an alarm clock app that will be able to run in the background.

  • Imported Objects possible for third party SWC

    Hello,
I have come across a scenario where SWC which is installed on third party system and need imported objects from SAP.
Can i do it or not. i am bit confused.
My third party SWC needs a RFC because i have to create interface to expose as web service.
    Thanks,
    Srenivas

    HI,
Yes you can do this with temporary manipulation as below,
For SCV on main page, just change it to RFC and give the SAP landscape details as client and id etc.
Then import the object that you needed from SAP and then uncheck the checbox to RFC and make it as Third Party.
This will allow you ti rgister the matadata of imported objects and then can be able to use it scenarios without any problem.
    Thanks

  • Third Party PO & Order Cancellation

We use a Third-Party Vendor to direct-ship some products directly to our Customers. For this, we use the TAS Item Category on the Sales Order line, which automatically creates a Third-Party PO and sends it to the Vendor. This is all fine. However, on occasion we need to cancel one or more items, most likely due to the Customer cancelling the order. Once this has been communicated to the Third-Party Vendor, we need to flag the PO item(s) for deletion, then reject the Sales Order item(s). If we don't carry out the second step in fairly quick time, there is a chance a new PO could be created against the re-opened PO Req.
We are looking at developing a solution to carry out both steps consecutively. Before we go ahead with this, I just wanted to check if a standard solution exists ?
    Many thanks, Paul.

Thanks for your response, however :
We don't want to zero out the lines, as we want to maintain the quantities for IFOT reporting.
This solution will not be automated, it will be triggered by the Vendor if they will not be delivering the goods. They will either ring our Customer Service Team to request the items be cancelled, or possibly use a Web Portal to do it themselves.
Bottom line, a two-step process is unacceptable, for the reasons previously described. And we don't want to change the Sales Order item category back to TAN, as this will just consume requirements and leave the order open, when we are trying to cancel the item.
    Thanks, Paul.

  • Connecting to third party software from R/3

    Hi Interface Gurus,
I have to communicate with a software program lying on AS400(i series) system from R/3. Please let me know the process i need to follow to talk to this software.
It would be of help if you can suggest how and what are the settings and steps i need to take to make a RFC call to this program from R/3.
    Thanks in advance
    Rupendra

    Hi Rupendra,
In order to communicate with a third party software, you need to establish a connection first and then it can send and receive the messages.
For all these settings to be done you need to contact your Basis person, who will setup the RFC destination and sender details and other basic needs.
    Hope it helps!!!!
Do not forget to assign points, if helpful.
