This is an answer for anyone who had the same problem i had my itune shows stopped playing they were frozen noone new what to do all i did was click on "store"in corner of itunes screen scroll down click authorize!
for months most of my itune shows were frozen noone gave me the correct info .my new brilliant boyfriend told me to try authorizing my itunes and it freaken worked! when your in ur itunes click on store (not help not advanced ) I wasted my time scroll down to authorize this computer it will ask for ur id and password etc UNFROZEN!!!!!!! I hope this helps someone!!!!

Ever since I updated my ipad2 and iphone5 to ios8, both devices are running slow, apps take forever to download (Google is STILL downloading on both), and they freeze/crash. This is VERY frustrating! Anyone else having the same problems?
Message was edited by: RkksheaHad same problem on my iPad2 with the original 8.0 release. I ended up wiping it completely clean and doing a reset and restore from backup. That seemed to fix my issues. I had the same problem when 7 came out and did the same wipe and restore to get everything working well.

I've just signed up to iTunes Match as I have songs on my iPhone 4 which wont sync with iTunes as they are from CDs but I can't see my music in the cloud now. Anyone had the same problem and have an easy fix?
What fixed it for me:
On your computer, open iTunes > My iPhone (or whatever name you gave your iPhone) > "Music" page
Uncheck "Sync Music"
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
Uncheck the box for every song, playlist, etc.
Click "Sync" button (bottom right) (This step may be unnecessary, but I did it and got the result I wanted.)
Let it run and finish
Check the boxes for the music you want on your iPhone
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
See if that doesn't work for you. I tried a lot of things that did nothing, but this seems to have fixed it, and quickly. -
I am using an iPad.
In iCal, whenever I try to turn to the month of March, the app closes.
I know of at least one other person who has had the same problem.

I upgraded to iOS 7 the other day and everything worked fine. Today I noticed I can no longer open the iTunes app on my phone. I used it yesterday to download a few songs and today it gives me a white screen with menu tabs on the bottom that also do not open. I have tried every suggestion and read all the official apple support items and none of it works. Anyone else have this problem or have it fixed after you had the same problem?
I have exactly the same problem. I too have tried everything that's been suggested, but still not working. Don't really what to do next? I have an iPhone 4S.

Streaming from my iPad to my tv is not working, it keeps saying the iTunes accounts are different but I've checked it a ton of times and its the same, anyone had the same problem?

3 year old iMac 24 running OS 10.7.4. After it has been on for a day or so, it stops going to sleep and becomes very slow. This only happens when Safari is running. Quitting Safari solves the problem. Has anyone else have the same problem? Does not happen on MacBookpro only on iMac.

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts? -

Thanks for the advice. I finally tried a solution after doing nothing. LoL. What I did do was change the channel the router was on from 9 to 7. I think I've done something like this in the past when I had slow internet and that worked out well too. I thought that would help and so far so good. Not an interruption so far but we shall see. To the guy or girl who expressed that they had the same problem as me I would try changing the channel of your router like I did. I will monitor the situation and see if it totally solved my problem or not and keep this thread updated. Thanks people -
i deal with a itunes update problem when i try to update i get coneection has timed out error! i had the same problem when i had vista.. yesterday i formated my pc but i still have the same prommblem. i dont deal with such problems on direct downloads.i have this problem only with tunes. maybe my conection freezes for a sec idk
Sorry I gave this a 'this helped me' but after a long struggle I found some ticked box somewhere from some unauthorised chrome extension blaaa....... the link you gave was great, not only did it confirm all the bad things google is supposed to be up to it provided a better browser. Cheers man.
Anyone who find this; I disabled all extension in chrome. I then searched the word proxy in the settings section. A button came up, "change proxy settings" I clicked on it. Earlier it was greyed out as an extension was interefering.. It brought up a box with my own settings from my computer. Then I clicked LAN settings, then unchecked the 'Use a proxy server' button.
P.S. If you're using chrome, bail, and dowload Komodo Dragon. It's virtually identical, but you're not tracked, and you can use chrome extensions, and you can quickily transfer your chrome preferences into it. -
We have multiple devices in the family, including now 4 iphones, all who share the same Apple ID. I want to stop this, but need thoughts on multiple IDs as Findmyphone works well as same ID?!

What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

My Bose SIE2i volume control does not work. (pause/play does work). This is the second set - the apple store in Sydney replaced the first set that had the same problem. It was working OK and has stopped.
Thanks again V.K. I did check the layout, and it was listed as alphabet when I inputted the password. So that doesn't seems to the the issue.
Just finished a truly mystifying experiment, but I put in a shorter password in the way mentioned earlier and it worked. I then systematically kept increasing the characters of that password and it seems that if the password starts to exceed about 16, it stops recognizing it. I am fairly sure it is not the password itself since it never gives an error when typing in the verification password. So unless I systematically make the exact mistake twice at the setup screen, and then don't or make a different mistake every time at the login screen, I don't think its my typing skill.
So problem solved for now, but I am still a bit worried. Maybe I should completely reinstall and use a shorter password.
Is there supposed to be a length limit? -
Itunes will not launch, it shows message of "itunes library .itl" can not be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes. I tried opene it in save mode but I had the same problem.
If you still have an issue you may have to see about using the iTunes version (application) included with Snow Leopard 10.6 from the installer or an another one if available online, and see if that will install.
Sometimes you may have uninstall the bits left in your system by the earlier (or later) iTunes installers; as they all leave a trace and these can stop a different version of iTunes from being installed.

I have downloaded 2 rented movies. I can find then in my downloads but can not find then in iTunes. I read the others that have had the same problem an I can't find the rented in iTunes

Iphone 4 microphone not picking up sound properly. Is there a solution to this? Or anyone else having the same problem that have solved it.
Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.
If you've gone through ALL the troubleshooting steps and you're still having the problem, then you most likely have a hardware issue and will need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation. -
I recently updated my Iphone 4s to the newest IOS and I now cannot turn on Wi-fi. Has anyone esle had the same problem? Is there a fix? I've tries restoring to a previous software update, but it appears the wi-fi was completely disabled and I do not have the ability to turn it on.
Apple is aware of the issue and is expected to release 7.0.3 next week to address iMessage issues.
In the meantime I have found that a good old fashion reset cures it for a while.
