This is really starting to bug me. Help please!!

When i was first attempting to log into my skype, on the desktop client, it was telling me that i was already online and wouldn't log me in. I looked up the problem and followed the following advice:
(Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
If you are on the latest Skype 6.5/6.6/6.7/6.9/6.10/6.11 version, then do also this:
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.) 
i did so in safe mode because an error kept comming up telling me i couldn't change the name while the program was running. I have mannaged to get back into my account after doing this twice but i am still unable to send and recive messages or make any changes to my status or settings! I followed those steps anouther time afterwards to see if that would fix it but it did not. Any assitance on this matter will be appreciated! i have the Skype app on my phone and it is working fine. I am Running on windows 8 and have reinstalled my skype prior to trying the reset to make sure it wasn't just outdated!

The solution I tried Previously worked for about a week, but i started having the same peoblem again. At first Just doing the Skype Restart (the one listed in my first post) Worked to fix this problem but once again i can only access Skype and see my contacts and Conversations but not send or recive messages! I dont understand Why it keeps doing this, I have not installed any new programs recently. I am at that point where if This want my main comunication system for many people i would have given up already.
I have Reinstalled many times in hopes it was just a mess up in a recent update. i could really use some Help with this matter It is very disheartening.

    Hey all, I bought a black 8GB iPod Nano yesterday, so its the second generation one.
    Heres the problem. My music is located inside C:/Music/ and I have songs in different folders and albums too with playlists.
    Example:
    C:/Music/Green Day/
    C:/Music/Rick James/
    Whenever I import playlists from the Green Day folder I can play it on my iTunes perfectly, then when I go and import a playlist from Rick James.. the files that are stored under the playlist for Green Day give me the message
    "The song "blah" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?"
    I've done some playing around and found out that importing playlists that are in seperate folders will not work, only the most recently added playlist will. and what I found out that worked is that if all the playlist and music files are all in the same folder.. iTunes would not lose them.
    Is there any way around this, because all my music is seperated into folders and I dont want to make a new folder and copy all the music over just so the iPod can work with it.

    if you choose to do this, drag your songs over there, THEN erase them from your itunes library, becasue itunes wont be able to find the songs. After that, you can do
    file > add folder to library > my documents/my music/itunes/itunes music, and it will automatically upload all those songs back onto your library

    Software on the music app is also prone to freezing.

    Then you may have a hardware problem but try some standard troubleshooting first...
    Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
    If still a problem restore with your backup.
    If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
    If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

    i have two network drive and i am trying to copy a file from my mac mini to one of the network drives, but i keep getting this error message "One or more items can’t be copied because you don’t have permission to read them." i have no idea why this is since i have always been able to copy stuff back and forth. i checked my file sharing permissions and it is set to read and write for admin (me), none for everyone and read for guests. can someone please, this is very annoying and this is the second time it has happened to me.

    neither move nor copy is working. both way gives same error message. what i would like to do however is move the file. yes i am logged in as a the admin and the issue is affecting not just that particular file in my system but others as well. i looked at get info and no the file is not locked but under permission, it says everyone and read only. it will not let me change this setting from get info however when i look under system preferences for file sharing, my setting is read and write for admin (me), none for everyone and read for guests.

    A bloody simple question, nobody seems to know the answer, including apple. I'm frustrated bigtime. Everytime apple comes up with an update, be it iTunes or iOS or OSx, it just comes with more bugs with no solution till months after.

    If you haven't already done so then you can enable the left-hand sidebar in iTunes 11 via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC. You can then select the iPad on that sidebar, and on the right-hand side on the Apps tab either click the Remove button next to the apps that you want to remove (you can't remove built-in apps, and those labelled 'Install' aren't on your iPad), or on the screen mock-ups hover your mouse pointer over the app that you want to remove and it should get an 'x' on its top left-corner - click that and it will be deleted.

  • Okay, this is REALLY starting to annoy!

    I got the problem figured out with the album art. If you download the Tag & Rename from softpointer, and use IT to apply the artwork.
    However, there are now a BUNCH of songs that I have that are refusing to import to the library - they are ALL mp3s and have ALL imported before! Oh yeah - and all of those songs that are refusing to be imported by iTunes play FINE in windows media player AND the creative organizer.
    Suggestions????

    Never mind ... that fix didn't work EITHER for the artwork. It shows up automatically in iTunes, but not on the iPod itself.

  • File with ? Flashing on start up. Urgent help please.

    I Hope you can help as I'm getting really stressed out, I have read a few threads and although I'm not completely blind when it comes to computers this is a little beyond me.
    on start up I have a file icon with a question mark in the centre flashing. I believe this is because a file can not be found or a hard drive error.
    my MacBook is 2011 and I'm running on Yosemite, any other information you need?
    i Have started up using command and R.
    LOgged in in to my wifi and gained access to the disk utility.
    on that I am faced in the left hand pane with an orange icon (Mac os x base system)
    I can verify the disk - this tells me "the volume mac os x base system appears to be ok"
    the "repair disk" tab is NOT highlighted.
    in a real simple guide can anyone help me as I really can not loose what I have on the laptop And need it up and running asap?

    You need to run the Repair Disk command on your regular drive and not the Mac OS X Base System entry. If your internal drive doesn't show up in the list, it's either dead or has become physically connected; recovering data from a failed drive can only be done by a professional service, and those can charge hundreds or thousands of dollars.

    OK, the above was the report after the MacBook had been plugged in for a few days. I decided to see what came up when I started on the battery, but the first time I tried it, as soon as Safari launched (it's a login item) it went down. So I let the battery get back up to 100%, and restarted, bypassing login items. System Info reported this:

    I note that those last two items are quite different, and indeed, the voltage had been reduced to < 11V. Dunno if that's significant.
    I then tried launching Safari and it promptly went down. It occurred to me that the issue might involve Safari specifically in some way, so I let the battery charge back up again, de-logined Safari, and restarted. I was able to launch a few smaller applications; then I launched Backup, so far so good, but when I tried actually starting a backup, poof.
    It's too bad I can't either find a MacBook to borrow to try with my battery or borrow a battery; no one I know has an appropriate model MacBook.

  • Stuck at 'Starting Windows' screen! Help please :(

    Hello guys and girls.
    I have a problem with an Acer Aspire 8920 laptop.
    To start off with the back light on the screen was the first issue. After turning the laptop on the screen would turn off. I would close the lid and open it again and the screen would light up as normal and then after a few seconds it would go off again.
    I wasn't sire at first what it was so I plugged it into the telly via HDMI and that was fine. I looked closely and I could see very faintly windows had loaded fine. After that I knew it was the backlight.
    Eventually after more research I bought a new inverter off the web. Few days later it arrived and I replaced it. It solved the issue but has caused a couple more.
    I get stuck at the starting windows screen no matter what I do. I have a copy of W7 on a disc, on USB and if I try and load up W7 as normal. If I try and boot in safe mode it always gets stuck at 'Loaded: \Windows\system32\DRIVERS\avgidsha.sys' every time.
    Also after replacing the inverter the brightness of the screen now 'pulses'. Thats the best way I can describe it. When it does pulse it doesn't go off completely, just a little brighter and darker.
    I have looked online and found that people were getting stuck at the same place and the cause of that was a power supple issue with custom built PCs. I think that maybe I might have a the same problem because of this new inverter?
    Any input would be great into this. I appreciate your help.

    Do you mean that you're unable to logon to Windows no matter via normal start or safe mode, and startup repair doesn't work with the disk?

    On iPhone
    Note:
    You don't need the computer that You make sync with the iPhone, the thing that its important is that
    Your iMac must to be signed with the same account Apple account as Your iPhone, hope work for iPad & iPod Touch.
    1.Go to Your iPhone in voice memo, after the memo on the right side You have blue arrow click it.
    2.You have tab Share click on it!
    3.From the third option Click on message
    3.A) This is in the case that You dont have Your number as contact.
    4.Send to:?  find Your Mobile number 123-1234-1232 something like this.
    5.Click Send
    On iMac
    6.Open the iMessages You must to see that You received the file,It takes time so wait little bit.
