Hi Hari,
I have also informed the same thing to ABAPER and what they have done is they clubbed all their documents as different pages in to one spool request.
Thanks for your suggestion

  • How to create the multiple spool requests for a single report.

    Hi gurus,
                     I have one requirement to be completed , i need to send the out put of the report via mail in pdf format. for that what i did was, iam executing report in background and creating spool request and converting it to pdf and sending the file.
    now the problem is, its a customer ledger report, for each customer i need to create a new spool request and send mail to that particular customer, now my dought is how to create multiple spool requests for a single pro and how i need to go about it.
    And one more question is can we create a spool request for a report which is running in online.
    waiting for inputs frm gurus.

    Hello,
    As per my knowledge for creating new spool id you will have to set
    output_options-tdnewid = 'X'.
    and then using
    job_output_info-spoolids
    create a pdf using
    call function 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'

  • Spool requests are being sent the the B9 printer queue(RSNAST00).

    Hi gurus,
    has anyone found a fix for this issue? i'm currently experiencing the same issue and would like to know how i can fix this..
    Spool requests are being sent the the B9 printer queue. Most spool requests are for one page, when there are spool requests for multiple pages these spool requests take longer to create, in the meantime, other spool requests that are single pages are going to the printer queue. This creates and "out-of-vendor-order" issue during printing.
    The out of vendor order sequencing creates a significant level of work effort for the business users to resort the printed copies in order to prepare the documents for mailing. A change is required to eliminate this manual effort.
    Development has indicated an enhancement could be made to the RSNAST00 program where only those print jobs for application "MR" with transmission "1" (for print) would be gathered in groups of "X" number of documents to create one spool, prior to creating the spool, a check would be made to see if the next document was for the same vendor, if so the next document/s would be included in the same spool, when a new vendor was found, a new spool would be created.
    To temporarily fix the issue the jobs have been placed on "no execute" and the support team is identifing the chargebacks and RTV created during the week, manually running the RSNAST00 program in groups of 500 - 800 documents, ensuring all doucments for a vendor a sent in the same spool request.

    Nobody know the answer to this one? Stephen@Azzu:Here's a good one...I'm using Crysal Reports XI (fully service packed) and the reports I have created are being used in a VB.Net application. I have no problems whatsoever in printing the reports, everything is fine. However, when the report is sent to the printer, the printer queue displays 'document' as the, err, document name. I'd like it to say something more relevant, such as the document number the user selected.So I've tried setting the ReportDocument.Name but wait, it's read only!? How about the summary info? No change. Filename? No change either. I've browsed the internet, searched the knowledge base and found nothing. So my question is this...How do I get the printer queue to display an appropriate name for my document?Stephen

  • Spool request error in downloading 4000 pages

    Hi all
    I have a small doubt regarding the spool request.
    In my scenario I am running the transaction FBL3N
    in the background and I am getting an output of around 4000 pages.
    I need to download it but my Spool request contains only 10 pages
    by default.
    I changed it to 4000 but it gives the error of memoryoverflow.
    I could work by dividing the file into parts say 500 or 1000 but
    is there any way out so that I could download all the pages in
    one go.
    Hope you ppl have got me.
    Please respond asap.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sumit

    hi,
    you can divide data into different spools in following way:
    call function 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS'
          exporting
            destination    = 'LOCL'
            copies         = count
            list_name      = 'TEST'
            list_text      = 'Test for multiple spools'
            immediately    = ' '
            release        = 'X'
            new_list_id    = 'X'
            expiration     = days
            line_size      = 79
            line_count     = 23
            layout         = 'X_PAPER'
            sap_cover_page = 'X'
            receiver       = 'SAP*'
            department     = 'System'
            no_dialog      = 'X'
          importing
            out_parameters = params
            valid          = valid.
       IF VALID eq SPACE.
          new-page print on parameters params no dialog.
       endif.
    writes data into spool 1.
    new-page print off.
          new-page print on parameters params no dialog.
    write into spool 2.
    new-page print off.
    thanks,
    anupama.

  • Saving spool request  in PDF format  using background job

    Hi,
    We have some important jobs which create spool requests. My requirement is to save those spool requests either on front end  or on application server in pdf format. I tried with  program RSTXPDF4 but i can save those files only when pdf conversion is done online and I want it to run in background  as some of the spool request have more then 3000 pages and also i'm not looking for ABAP development.
    It is fine with me to save it in text format but some of the spool request have around 3000 pages and  i cannot save the whole request in one shot using option system->list->save->local file
    It is appreciated if someone has any alternative for the above one.
    Regards,
    Chaitanya

    Hi,
    Just check Is it solve your purpose... When you are creating background jobs mention your email / user id as spool list recipient...
    I think you will recv. the spool output in the mailbox in pdf

  • Converting OTF data from script to Spool Request

    Hello,
    Is there any way to convert OTF data into Spool Request.
    Actual scenario is for the Order Acknowledgement form they have configured the output type for Print Medium and here the spool is generated through Close_Form . Based on the spool no they are converting the spool to PDF and then placing a copy in the Unix Directory.
    They have also configured the form for Fax Medium , but here in the close_form they are getting the Fax number instead of spool number. As this way it just Fax the output to required destination , user require a copy of the output should be converted to PDF and then it has to be placed in Unix directory as it is happening for print medium.
    The problem here in the close form for first  case , i can see the spool id but in the second case that is not happening . So only OTF data is available with me. So is there any way where i can pass OTF data get spool id . So that if i have spool id rest will be taken care by my existing logic.
    I Appreciate your valuable inputs.
    Thanks,

  • Printing multiple spool requests at a time

    Hi All,
    I am using function module RSPO_OUTPUT_SPOOL_REQUEST to print the contents of the spool request. I want to print multiple spool requests at a time. We can input only one spool request number to the above function module at a time. Is there any way that I can print multiple spool requests with only single Print Popup Window ?
    Thanks.

    Hi Khanna,
    I tried that option at first place only. It results in multiple Print Popups. I want to avoid this. For all spool print requests, I want to show ONLY ONE Print Popup.
    Thanks.

  • Close spool request

    Hi,
    I have one program, that calls transaction code CIP2. When I run in backgound, it creates spool request but with 0 pages.
    And have the message:
    ERROR => missing close of spool request [rspoooh.c    1173]
    If I run this program without background and calls CIP2, it runs well and no spool is created.
    Any idea how to solve this problem? or close the spool request?
    All ideias are welcome.
    Best regards,
    Anabela Fernandes

    Hi Harsh,
    When my program run in background it is done by one job and run when one event occurs.
    My program calls CIP2 with FM PROCESS_CC2_MESSAGES_PARALLEL. So I can't use the command SUBMIT.
    The spools request are created in backgound.
    I was think to do like: at end of program if sy-batch = 'X' -> Close the pending spool requests. But I don't know how to do it. Any idea?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Spliting Spool Request for Dunning in background.

    Hi Experts,
    I'm having a requirement to split the spool request for every 1000 pages,as for more then 1000 pages for Dunning executed in background.
    the job is automaticaly canceled after 30 mn of execution
    => in F150, status of the printout is "Printout has terminated" .
    My requirement is to split the spool request using enhancement in print program.
    How can i split the spool request after 1000 pages and again print from 1001 to last.
    print program for F150 - SAPF150D2
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Yusuf,
    There is no otherway to delete the spool request except giving the option delete in the authorization object S_SPO_ACT.Make sure that you havenot given the values SP01, SP0R under the authoriztion object S_ADMI_FCD. If you have given both  the authorization objects with the above mentioned values than that user will get the authorization to delete the spool requests created by the other users also. So if you want to restrict the user not to delete the spool requests created by the other users make sure , not to give him the values SP01, SP0R under the authoriztion object S_ADMI_FCD.
    Regards,
    Bharath.

  • How many number of pages can be included in a single spool request

    Hi ,
    How many maximum number of pages can be included in a single spool request. can we increase or decrease these max no of pages per spool in SAP.Please advise.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sam.

    Hi Sam,
    The spool is ultimately a file created in the database. So it can handle a large number of pages.
    By defaut it shows only first ten pages.. This can be changed from the settings in SP01.
    GOTO> DISPLAY REQUESTS> SETTINGS

  • Add the output from two documents on to a single spool request

    Hi All,
      I have a situation where the Remittance output using transaction F110 goes to a spool request which triggers VF31 transaction to ouput invioices, these invoices go on to a separate spool. My requirement is that all the invoices related to the Remittance should print in the same spool request after the Remittance output? Is there any method that this can be done? Would an example be possible?
    Regards,
    Puneet P.

    Hi Puneet,
    do you have access to the print program, I mean, can you change it when the open_form function is called (depends on customizing settings for this transactions)? If so, you can change the ITCPO-TDNEWID. This will cause to print the next output into the former opened one. So you first output has ITCPO-TDNEWID = 'X', the second ITCPO-TDNEWID = ' '. Then they will be merged into one.
    Cheers,
    Stefan

  • Combining multiple smartform output in one spool request

    Hi,
    I'm calling 5 different smart forms from driver program based on some conditions and trying to merge the output of each of these smart forms in a single spool request. I achieved this by setting control parameters no_open and no_close based on first or last print.
    The problem i'm facing now is when i call one particular smart form ZSMARTFORM6 along with other smartforms i'm getting a error FORM SMARTFORM6 has wrong Page format.
    If i call only this smart form it is working correctly.
    Any idea how to avoid this error message.

    In The control Parameters u have an Option NO_OPEN   and NO CLOSE  u have to use this to combine multiple SSF to one Spool
    DATA SSFCTRLOP LIKE SSFCTRLOP.

    Hi
    Either remove the semicolon (;) or the slash (/) at the end of your query, as both will execute it.

  • Account statement printing - single spool requests

    Dear SAP experts,
    We would like to use print program RFKORD10 for correspondence type SAP06 (account statements for customers) to print account statements for a range of customers, so in mass processing. I see that the standard behaviour of the program is to put the output in 1 spool request.
    Is there any possibility to create a single spool request per account statement / customer? This would be helpful when converting spool requests to a PDF file, in order to send the statements by email.
    Regards,
    Mark

    Hi Khanna,
    I tried that option at first place only. It results in multiple Print Popups. I want to avoid this. For all spool print requests, I want to show ONLY ONE Print Popup.
    Thanks.
