Thunderbird taking 4 hours per message

I know this is a bit wierd but when using Thunderbird as my email client it can take an average of 4 hours to deliver an email. They appear to be sent OK and eventualy they are delivered but it takes about 4 hours. The same emails sent from BTYahoo or Live Mail are delivered promptly. I have checked all the setting and even re-set up the accounts according to BT's instructions but no improvement. Any ideas

i left the ipod connected for 24 hours and still the same this, i freezes on 2 of 38 slots. i was able to sync to of my other classic 160 earlier last week, but this one just freezes. i tried to sync the ipod with my mac mini but is does not recognize this ipod as a device associated with my itunes and wants to whipe it clean, however i have not seen people having sucusess with this method either. yes, i do use the cloud, i use my mini for uploading my cds and my windows 7 laptop for syncing the ipods...it is just easier to use it that way as i can easily sync my ipods while at work. Fwiw, i do not like the new itunes, i miss the list view, when you have over 200gig of music in itunes and still have 80% of my cd collection to add in (and i must use cds as itunes down loading does not support lossless files, which does sound much different to the compressed files to my ears) it teekes forever to scroll through it. i also do not like how auto eject seems to have dissapeard from the apple version of itunes, so when i add a cd there it does not eject it, i keep having to go to the screen and hit the eject...it is what it is i guess, but it is still buggy.

    Hi
    our system is getting very slow with below warning every second

    Details:"System.Transactions.TransactionException: The operation is not

    Regards,

    Hi Mohit,
    If this happens for all the message in your BizTalk farm, then this issue is due to general health of the server but if it happens to a specific processing then this issue
    is due to transaction between BizTalk and your destination system. I feel it’s more to do with second case –between BizTalk and a specific destination system.
    Seems like you’re using some transactional adapter..may be WCF-SQL or SAP etc..anyway.
    This issue normally occurs if the transaction handshake between BizTalk and destination has not happened on time. You can review you send port’s adapter’s time out property
    (it different for adapter used). Check the status of the transaction/message at the destination systems.
    Ideally, if a transaction takes longer time, it shall timeout and fail,check your timeout setting for timeout. One option on this to update machine.config file which will
    change timeout setting for entire System.Transactions Namespace as mentioned in the following blog (this article not specific to WCF-SAP adapter, this discuss about
    transaction timeout):http://blogs.msdn.com/b/biztalknotes/archive/2013/05/03/timeout-issue-with-wcf-sap-biztalk-adapter.aspx
    If this happens for the entire message (or atleast to
    most, find th
    e pattern)
     in your BizTalk farm, then this issue is due to general health of the server try running the messagebox viewer as you know and check the performance monitor.

  • Recordsets per message - only works with RECORDSET

    I have previously got recordsets per message working when I use RECORDSET.  I now have a scenario that uses "row" instead of "RECORDSET".
    This is working for RECORDSET - it splits into a new message every 100 records........
    Recordset Name   RECORDSET
    Recordset Structure   RECORDSET,100
    Recordsets per Message   100
    ignoreRecordsetName   true
    RECORDSET.fieldNames   RECORDCODE,ACCOUNTID,CO..............
    RECORDSET.fieldFixedLengths   2,6,1,3,4,3,2,1,.............
    RECORDSET.lastFieldsOptional   yes
    When I change RECORDSET to be row - it only produces 1 message, even though 11,000 records
    Recordset Name   row
    Recordset Structure   row,950
    Recordsets per Message   950
    ignoreRecordsetName   true
    row.fieldNames   RECORDCODE,ACCOUNTID,CO..............
    row.fieldFixedLengths   2,6,1,3,4,3,2,1,.............
    row.lastFieldsOptional   yes
    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    I can't believe there are no examples of these kinds of things because it is all about syntax most of the time in File Content Conversion and this can be so time consuming.  I got it to work eventually - hopefully this will save someone a couple of hours.  This worked:
    Recordset Name  row
    Recordset Structure row,1
    Recordsets per message 950
    ignoreRecordsetName true

  • File content conversion record set per message

    Dear All,
    Problem:- File is of huge size because of which file content conversion is taking longer time and is failing.
    File format:-
    Header
    Detail
    Detail
    Header
    Detail
    Detail
    Detail
    Detail
    Header
    Detail
    Detail
    Trailer
    Trailer has total count of all detail record,header record and there are few checks as well as wrt other fields.
    We need to do all the above validation on the file and if it successful it shud process it otherwise alert shud be raised.
    As a step:-
    I have used record set per message for splitting up the file because of huge size this functionality is working fine but because of spitting of file i am not able to do trailer validation as XI is creating multiple records with different message ID's
    Is any other approch which will help to achieve both Spliting as well as validation
    chirag

    Chirag,
    simplest scenario I can think of is splitting the 2 reqs.
    1. create 2 folders, one for "in process" files and other for "validated" files.
    2. create 2 scenarios:
    2.1. your current sender system to in process folder (whatever to File).
           => In this you just do the validation, without FCC. You could create a simple module for that or even do it at mapping runtime, as you said (mapping may be easier to handle errors), and throw a runtime exception (which will eventually trigger an alert).
           => At the end, only files that go successfully throug the validation will be located in the "In Process" folder.
    2.2. do a simple file to file scenario (from "In Process" to "Validated" folder), this time executing FCC & splitting messages if necessary.
    Of course, this will only work if the module/mapping is able to process the large file anyway (hopefully yes, since it will still be a flat file and not XML yet).
    BR,
    Henrique.

  • Why is a 90 minute DVD taking 8 hours to encode?

    I've got a top of the range MacBook Pro with 200GB free. It's taking 8 hours to encode a 60GB video. I'm assuming it's taking this long because of the raw video size - is there any way I can compress the video into an appropriate format before encoding the DVD? Otherwise, it's going to take ages...
    Thanks!

    If a 90 minute video takes up 60GB it must be in High Definition, as standard DV streams only take up 13GB per hour.
    In that case your CPU has to do quadruple the work, and 8 hours may be about right.
    Best thing to do is leave it to do it overnight!

    Hi Friends
    I have configured a sender file adapter to pick up *.txt files from a specific path, Since the file is having thousands of records it is failing to process the file at  PI level . In order to avoid the problem I have kept Recordset Set Per Message as 10 , but still PI is processing all the records into a single message. Please help me in troubleshooting it.

  • Why is the upgrade to iOS 7.0.4 (1.31 GB) taking ELEVEN HOURS?

    Why is the upgrade to iOS 7.0.4 (1.31 GB) taking ELEVEN HOURS?  After 2 full hours I have downloaded 240 MB!
    I realize my Internet speed of 2.5 Mbit/sec is not blistering, but it is the fastest available to me at my rural location.  It easily manages 8 to 10 GBs of material from other sites.
    There are no other users on the system and no other downloads taking place.  I am using a wired connection (not WiFi).
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Paul Good ([email protected])

    I am using iTunes and as I pointed out in my query, I am using the fastest connection available to me.
    From other sites a file of 1.31 GB would take me less than 40 minutes!

  • Recordsets per Message not working

    I found that Recordsets per Message will split the source message into multiple messages and process them separately.  This will save my alot of time and is exactly what I need - but it does not work.
    I have in my sender file adapter the following parameters in File Content conversion:
    Document Name = MT_SND_ZADIG
    Document Namespace = urn://federalmogul.com/ADP/FINFRADP001/00
    Recordset Name = RECORDSET
    Recordset Structure = RECORDSET,*
    Recordset Sequence = Ascending
    Recordsets per Message = 10
    Key Field Type = String (case-sensitive)
    RECORDSET.fieldNames   RECORDCODE,ACCOUNTID,CONST_E,CONST_Z2M,MONTHYEAR,JOURNALCODE,FOLIOCODE,RECORDTYPE,DAY,GLACCOUNT,CODINGBLOCK,DEBITAMOUNT,CREDITAMOUNT,TEXT,FILLER1,FILLER2,ACCREF1,ACCREF3,EMPLOYEENO,REPORTTYPE,ZADIGCODE,ACC_TYPE,RESERVED,CENTURY
    RECORDSET.fieldFixedLengths  2,6,1,3,4,3,2,1,2,12,18,13,13,20,8,8,12,12,6,4,6,1,1,2
    RECORDSET.lastFieldsOptional   yes
    When I feed in a file with 77 records I would expect it to split it into 7 * 10 recordset and then 1 * 7 - why is it not doing this?

    Hi Lynn,
    And... what is the result you are getting?
    Try to change Recordset Structure with something different that Recorset name.
    Something like:
    Recordset Name = RECORDSET
    Recordset Structure = row,*
    row.fieldNames RECORDCODE,ACCOUNTID,CONST_E,CONST_Z2M,MONTHYEAR,JOURNALCODE,FOLIOCODE,RECORDTYPE,DAY,GLACCOUNT,CODINGBLOCK,DEBITAMOUNT,CREDITAMOUNT,TEXT,FILLER1,FILLER2,ACCREF1,ACCREF3,EMPLOYEENO,REPORTTYPE,ZADIGCODE,ACC_TYPE,RESERVED,CENTURY
    row.fieldFixedLengths 2,6,1,3,4,3,2,1,2,12,18,13,13,20,8,8,12,12,6,4,6,1,1,2
    row.lastFieldsOptional yes
    Follow the example is described in:

    You need to get rid of MacKeeper (Zeobit).  Do not use their uninstaller, follow the instructions here ...

    When that is done there does not appear to be a lot wrong if you correct the red ink entries.
    The 4Gb is sufficient for Yosemite though 6 or 8 Gb would be better.  You may find the download slow so be prepared.

    >>but then how to make for example more then 1 records per message.
    like 10 records per message. should i set RECORD,10 ?
    That is right. Just try it out yourself.
    @Shesagiri,
    Number of record is decided by the parameter Recordset structure and number of recordset with in a message is decided by Recordset per Message.

  • File SENDER - "Recordsets per message" being ignored..

    Hi
    I have a file to file scenario
    Sender file:
    A1,A2,A3
    B1,B2,B3
    I want to split the SENDER/SOURCE file in the adapter (NO BPM) so that I am creating n number of RECEIVER files - ONE for each line.
    I am trying to use content conversions and setting "Recordsets per message" to 1 but it is completely ignoring this. and ONLY creating 1 file.
    I am NOT using any mapping and we are running PI 7.0
    Please help
    Cheers

    Hi
    As per my knwoledge you can split files at mapping level in integration engine but at adapter engine you are trying that is FCC which will just convert the data into XML.In FCC it will never split files, you have to do it at mapping level.
    Kindly check this link:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/600b455f-01cd-2b10-0cab-a50e47a8f800?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
    this is a step by process for your query.

  • RecordSets per message

    Hi
    Im doing a file to file scenario with content conversion. I have 10000 records in the file and i need to split the file using Recordsets per message option. I gave the value as 1000. In SXMB_MONI im getting 10 messages with proper payload. but in the target directory i can see 10 different files with only one (first) record in  it.
    Im using this configuration
    Recordset Name = (left this empty)
    Recordset Structure = RECORDSET,1
    specified parameter ignoreRecordsetName to true
    Did i miss anything

    My source and target structure are same
       <Record>  -- 0 to unbunded
          <Row>   -- 0 ro unbounded
                <Type/>
                <Org/>
                <Datel/>
           </Row>
           <Row>
                <Type/>
                <Org/>
                <Datel/>
           </Row>
             10000 nodes
       </Record>
    Im using the following in the CC
    Recordset Name:Record
    Recordset structure:Row,1000
    Recordset per message:1
    This is working fine. I mean ini SXMB moni im getting correct structure as expected. But the all the files in the target directory have only first 1000 records.. what i see in moni is different from what the files have
