Time Lapse - How to shorten hundreds of clips at the same time

Hi there, i have recently purchased a Gopro camera and have recorded a number of high definition picturtes that i want to stick together and put in a video, however there are about 600 images in total in the timeline, all i want to do, is because they are just images , i want to have each picture (or clip) exactly the same length. Its obviously going to take ages if i try and shorten each clip individually. Also, how do i resize the clips en masse, as they all looked somewhat zoomed in compared to the source file.

"Resize one clip the way you want it, copy the clip on the timeline, select all of the other clips that you want affected, right click and choose paste attributes."
Basicaly you do resize 1 frame (1 clip) to 27.7%
- select it
- cmd+C
-cmd+Alt+V (or right clic Paste Attributes)

Hey guys,
I'm in Uni on Final Cut Pro 5 and all the videos and discussions tell of how to apply transitions between clips in the same track.
I like to have my clips on different tracks so that I can overlap them at specific points but I don't know how to do this?
If I have track one. . .which ends. . .and have track 2 beginning below that (and have it overlapped for a few seconds) I don't know how to enable the transition at the point where track 2 begins.
Can anyone help?

Yep I understand that.
Let's say I overlap track 2 as I don't like the beginning of it. . .so I want the transition from the end of track one to track two to occur in the middle of track 2 - should I just trim the track to the point I want the transition to occur as opposed to have it overlapping?

In FCPX, how do I use multiple clips of the same event?

This is a beginner question, but having recently moved from Final Cut Express to FCPX, I am having trouble using 3 clips (church play, 3 cameras) of the same event (and reading through the manual has not helped me). I have lined them up in the timeline, one "on top" of the other, but the viewer only shows the top clip. I would like to see what the other clips look like and use the cutting tool and opacity (which I found) to choose the best view (and move between the clips lined up with the audio). It feels like I am trying to use an old work flow on a new product. How do I view the all the clips and move between them?

There is also, of course, more comprehensive paid training available that may better fit your needs.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
This sounds like a split screen effect to me.
If so, one view on Video 1 and the other directly above that is the other view on Video 2.
Then crop each so that each occupies 1/2 the Edit area monitor screen.
(generalized since I do not know your program version, see effects Transform/Crop).
I wrote the following in 2011 for a Premiere Elements 8 user in another forum
Your basic tools to achieve your goal are Crop Video Effect and Horizontal Flip Video Effect.
Video ONE on video track 1.
Video TWO on video track 2, directly above Video ONE.
Highlight Video ONE on video track 1, Edit Mode/Effects/Video Effects/Transform/Crop, followed by adjusting the crop under Edit Effects (see bottom of Effects Panel) so that Video ONE occupies the left half of the screen.
Do the same for Video TWO on video track 2, Edit Mode/Effects/Video Effects/Transform/Crop etc. so that Video TWO occupies the right half of the screen. BUT end with Edit Mode/Effects/Video Effects/Transform/Horizontal Flip.
Highlight the video on either side to make adjusts in the Properties Palette and appropriate Panel (position, cropping, etc). But, remember that if you make changes in the "flipped" right side of the screen, Edit Effects/Crop Panel right option will be for left and left option will be for right.
You may or may not need the "flip" part of the effect.
Please review and consider. If I have misinterpreted your question, please let me know with details and I will rethink what you seek.

I am a new user and I wonder how to get all video clips to the organize via Get Media or ?? at the same time. Now I have got it one after another and it is very slow.

My meaning is to get the clips from hard disk folder. No one after another but all the same time.

Normally you can apply only one video effect at a time. But for Sepia, black and white, and others that can be done through the video Adjustments tab, you are in luck.
Aged Movie should already have a bit of a sepia tone.
If you want more of a sepia tone or you want to fine tune the sepia effect you can do it with the Clip Inspector/Video Adjustments tab.

If you're looking for a washed-out sepia appearance, first open iMovie's preferences and turn on the Show Advanced Tools option, which adds more controls to the Video Adjustments HUD and other areas of the program. Select the clip you want to alter and press the V key. Set Saturation to 0 percent, and then drag the Red Gain slider to 143 percent, the Green Gain slider to 90 percent, and the Blue Gain slider to 53 percent (feel free to tweak these settings to customize the results). Click on Done when you're finished. Note that the clip thumbnail still appears in color, as the video was shot, but the preview reflects your changes.--JC
If you need to apply the same settings to all clips, first select the clip you have adjusted. Then Edit/Copy. Then Edit/Select All. Then Edit/Paste Adjustments.

Playing to clips aat the same time

i was just wondering if it is possible to play more then one clip at the same time. like side by side or one on top of another. if so, how and if not does anyone know what i should get to be able to do this?

Welcome to the discussions.
Since iMovie has only one video track, you cannot do this directly. However, if you have QuickTimePro, you can superimpose your clips.

Here's a little gotcha. Let's say you've color corrected a few clips and you've applied an effect to one and want to paste it the other clips. You switch off color correction and copy the clip. Shift-click the photos or Ctrl-click them to select them, then right-click one of them and choose Delete from Catalog. They will all go together.

I think that I made the wrong question, as you said: "that means the number of threads currently created".
I'm worry about this because my application is already online (It's a mail server -SMTP and POP3 server using ORACLE for the users database- ) and some other user post in the "multi-tread forum" that almost any JVM can only have 700 threads created at the same time, and I've never heard or read anything about this.
