Time management Error
Hi Experts,
I am getting a error when I try to enter CL for an employee "No Absence Quota type 6/40/40 on 26.04.2014. The promotion process was done for the employee on 26.04.2014. Please help me to resolve the issue.
Thanks
Hi Rabi,
The error mesage is clear. You are entring a record of for leave which is linked to a quota type and wnat to deduct of its balance and there is no enough amount of quota in IT2006 of EE.
If you would trace which quota type(s) is(are) connected to your absence type you should check customizing. Start by T554S and find your absence type. Check which counted rule is lined to it. Then go into T556C and find counting rule and at the end of its screen find deduction rule. Then check in deduction rules(same table T556C) open deduction rule and check which quota types are linked to.

Omid

Hi Sap guru,
I am facing error in time management, can any one help me out,
I maintained paid absence type of sickness/illness in 2001 infotype, and I went for time evaluation, where it evaluated successfully, then I went for payroll process, during processing it is throwing an error of u201CNo entry in table T554C for key 10 02 00u201D
The error breaks down as follows:
Molga: 10 u2013 USA
Absence valuation grouping 02
Valuation rule: 00
But my valuation rule suppose to be 04
I had checked the table of T554C, T554S Via V_554S_G, T555y and also the pcr rule TMOD, where all the configuration is correct.
So can any one help me out of how to resolve this issue.
With Regards,
SheryasenHi Shreya,
Since your absence valuation group is 02, please see that MODIF A=02 is maintanined in the pcr XMOD or not.
If not, copy XMOD to custom defined and maintain the correct groupings. It will resolve your issue.

Can not refresh server manager Error:0x8007045b
OS: Windows 2012 R2 Core
Services: Hyper V
I was trying to remote reboot and the session hung. No worries I decided I could just reboot the next morning. So I rebooted the next day but when I go into server manager I get
an errror can not refresh server manager Error:0x8007045b. Did some research found suggestions to fix it using a DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth.
But then I get an error 1115 A system Shutdown is in progress. I attempt to fix this issue using pskill winlogon but the issue pursistest. I have restarted the server several times now. Not sure how to fix this.
Thanks in advance,
JakeHi,

Time out error on deploying to SAP-J2EE engine.
I got a problem while deploying to SAP-J2EE engine using ant. It takes a lot of time and then throws a time out error.
The problem is with the web.xml file pointing to a DTD in the internet, I have pasted some part of the web.xml below,
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<!DOCTYPE web-app
PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN"

<display-name>MyPay</display-name>
<description>MyPay</description>
Once I write down the DTD description in the web.xml itself, it works fine.
I have pasted the error trace below,

The problem seems to be with my system, because I had run the same ant script in another system and it deployed successfully.
The problem does not seem to be with the dtd, whereas it seems that the SAP-J2EE engine is not able to open the link to the dtd giving a time out error.
Is it possible to switch off the validation process of the SAP-J2EE engine of an xml with the dtd? -

Thanks for helpHi is there any way to install 32 ACE OLE DB in 64 bit system without uninstall my other software .
I tried yesterday to instal 32 bit ACE but its told me u need to uninstall 64 bit software first :(
thanks
When using the command line, you can force the installation of the 32-bit version while the 64-bit version has already been installed.

How I finally fixed my frozen 3g ipod after the ipod internal manager error
My problem started after I formatted the ipod from FAT32 to NTFS. Sure it seemed to work for a bit, but then it froze and my computer would not recognise it at all. I got the sad face on the ipod and it would not respond to iTunes and neither could I apply the ipod updater to restore it back to its factory settings. If I tried to do an ipod update all I got was the ipod internal manager error. It also did not appear as a drive under disk management in XP. I also tried to reset by pressing the menu and play/pause keys together. I could see that it would reboot but then it would get stuck at the smiley face stage and nothing more would happen. I could still hear the disk spinning inside, but it continued to stay stuck.
I discovered my solution by accident but my ipod is now working again and is fully functional.
First of all, my ipod is 2 years old and does NOT have a warranty with it anymore. The solution requires that the ipod be opeded up so you have to decide if you want to void your warranty if you still have one. By the way, the local Apple repair centre said that unless it was under warranty they were not interested in doing anything with it. They suggested buying a new one!!
Ok here's what I did.
First of all, the ipod needs to be opened up. Here's a good link to have a look at, and in fact discusses replacing the hard drive anyway.
http://www.notpopular.com/blog/comments.php?blogID=63 Thanks to Josh Highland for writing the blog in the first place.
I used a couple of guitar picks to open the case to avoid scratching the casing.
Once the casing is open, detach the hard drive from its connector. At this stage you may need to toggle the ipod hold switch to "on" to make the ipod start up. After it's done this, press and hold the menu and press/play buttons together to force a reset. Once it's gone through this routine, plug the hard drive back into its connector whilst the ipod is still on. I found that by doing this, it forced the hard drive out of its frozen state. What this did was to cause my computer to recognise it as a drive. Yippee. I plugged the ipod back to the pc via the cable. The next i did was to run an ipod updater on the ipod. This caused the ipod to be restored to its factory settings and also formatted the drive back to FAT32. I used the original ipod updater that I got on the CD with the ipod. I then re-assembled the ipod.
Ok, so I ended up losing all of my songs and playlist on the ipod, but it's easy to transfer tham back to the ipod, and it's way cheaper than having to buy a new ipod.
My ipod now works the way it used too.
Windows XP ProYes, you are correct. I did disconnect the battery
before it finally worked. Honestly, I'm not sure if
that made any difference. It did the same thing
(folder with exclamation and then apple support
address) after I took the thing apart (which was easy
but I would not recommend it). It was a day later
that it finally formatted. The key is to get
the ipod to format however you can. After that it's
a simple matter of reinstalling the software. Which
I had been trying from the "Administrative Tools" and
it would never complete a format. In any event, all
of this WAS caused by the 2006-01-10 updater.
I too had trouble getting the ipod into "disk mode"
but keep trying when ever the apple icon appears on
the screen. Just keep pressing the center button and
the play/pause button at the same time. Each time I
put it into "disc mode" it took many trys. Good luck!
Any tips on how to "pry open" the iPod without destroying the casing? I have a 15Gb touchwheel model.
Also, I may as well ask this inadvance. Where is the battery and what does it look like? -
Is there a solution for Time Machine error?
I got an error in Time Machine saying backup had failed, a couple of days ago. Spent the next day or two trawling the web and found thousands of postings from people with the same error, but no solution.
(At least, some people had a solution - they were using PC-formatted hard drives.)
I've been using Time Machine for a few weeks, and it has only now taken a dislike to my external hard drive, which is connected by FireWire.
Is there a solution to this problem, or should I revert to using SuperDuper, which I was using successfully before?
I haven't put in lots of information about the apps I'm running, because this is a general query rather than a specific one. If there's a solution, I'll use it; otherwise I'll wipe the drive and go back to using SuperDuper.OisinOg wrote:
Pondini - Thank you for your slightly hostile reply.
On the contrary. The statement was: +"found thousands of postings from people with the same error, but no solution."+ I don't know where you found thousands of posts -- there are many here, but certainly not thousands. If you're talking about, say, a Google search, if you actually look at them, many are duplicates, unrelated to your problem, or unrelated to Macs at all -- and there are a number of solutions that seem to have fixed many of the real ones.
The error message was the standard one: "Time Machine Error - Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup directory."
There's most likely another, better message in your logs. Thus the suggestion about Time Machine Buddy. You can also use the Console app (in your Applications/Utilities folder). Click on Show Log List, then navigate in the sidebar to your system.log (or system.log.0.bz2, etc. for previous ones). You can filter for backupd to get the same TM messages as the widget, but I prefer to view the full log at the date/time in question, as messages from other concurrent processes may have a clue.
I've gone through the suggestions in some of the helpful replies to those thousands of postings, by wiping my drive, erasing it and reformatting it, first in two partitions using the GUID method in Disk Utility, then in a single partition. But Time Machine still doesn't want to back up to it.
Sounds a bit like a problem communicating with the drive. The logs may clarify that.
The hard drive of my computer is 250GB; the external drive is 300GB. Both are SATA drives; the external is connected by FireWire.
How full are they?
Thanks for your suggestion of downloading the Time Machine Buddy widget; I'll give it a last try tonight.
What is the difference between a SuperDuper clone and a Time Machine backup?
The initial backup of both copies almost everything on your HD, excluding only some caches, temp files, etc., although you can exclude other things. This takes quite a while, of course. Thereafter, only the items that changed are backed-up.
SuperDuper (and CarbonCopyCloner, which I use, and other, similar apps) are most often used to make bootable "clones" identical copies of your HD -- if your HD fails, you can boot and run from them immediately. With TM, once your HD is repaired/replaced, you restore your system to it from your TM backup.
Score one for the clones, but TM has it's advantages, too (which is why many of us run both).
First is, CCC and SD look at every file and folder on your HD to see what changed. This is quite time-consuming and CPU-intensive, so most of us run it once a day (or less often), usually automatically at, say, 3 am. TM, however, runs hourly, but uses an internal File System Event Log of changes, so it is far quicker and less intrusive. There are exceptions, but most users rarely even notice the backups unless they see the icon revolving. On my small system, for example, TM rarely runs over 30 seconds; CCC is at least 15 minutes.
Second, not only does TM keep previous versions of changed files, but it manages the space and backups for you. It keeps those hourly backups for 24 hours; except the first of the day becomes a daily backup which is kept for a month; one per week becomes a weekly backup that is kept for as long as there's space (it will fill the drive/partition). But it's smart enough, as it deletes the old weeklies, that it won't delete it's copy of anything that still exists on your HD.
There isn't room to have two 250GB sections on a 300GB drive. I suppose I could get another 250GB drive - I have an IDE enclosure somewhere - but I don't fancy the expense right now.
Your CCC or SD partition only needs to be as large as your HD, although in a pinch it only needs to be somewhat larger than what's actually used on your HD. If you don't have room for both on the one drive, an even better solution might be to get a pair of smaller portable HDs for CCC/SD. Use one daily for, say, a week, then take it to your safe deposit box, workplace, relative's house, etc. and start with the other. Now you're also protected against fire, flood, theft, direct lightning strike on your power lines, etc. -
Hi All,
I am using Labview8.5 and Windows XP OS.
My Problem is my Labview TimeStamp cannot display current system date and time.
Please see my attachment for the screentshot.
The TimeStamp or ever Format Date/Time String display "YYYY-MM-DD" instead of "2014-08-02".
I tried other computer machine and it works. There are some computer machine has this problem.
How can I resolve this issue? Please advice. Thanks.
Best Thanks,

Time Stamp error.JPG 68 KBBill,
reviewing the thread Dennis linked (thanks for that) reveals that it is the same account which opened this thread here three month later.
What bothers me is the fact, that the past thread is marked "solved" even though it obviously isn't. Or the OP is trolling us.....
Nevertheless, it seems like systematic error. Connected to specific machines.
What makes the machines where the time stamp issue occurs "unique"? If there are several, is that source really "unique"?
Most obvious reasons would be:
- Language settings (possibly the infamous "dot-comma-issue")
- Time zone settings (e.g. what happens if you switch Ulaanbaatar to Perth or maybe even some US time zone?)
- Missing hotfixes for Win and LV
- Is the system running as virtual machine vs. "native"?
Not so obvious differences:
- Specific CPU type
- Motherboard/BIOS
- LV ini settings
There are tons of other possible reasons (e.g. corrupt LV installation), but these are the ones i came up with within a couple of minutes....

HR toolbox payroll/Time management step by step
Hi Experts,
Can you please tell me the PU12 Payroll/Time management step by step process?.
Thanks. The SAPADPFR process model is designed to launch a payroll and export payroll data to SAP using the Interface with external payroll systems (pu12) transaction. The system creates a process corresponding to the process model for each of the payroll services in the Services menu. In the scenario, ADP-GSI indicates whether the service must use the process model or not. You can copy the SAPADPFR standard process model and adapt it to your companyu2019s requirements.
To launch the SAPADPFR process model, the name of the process model must be entered in the PM_PAIE constant (SAPADDFR by default). Program RPPM0FI creates a link between the different programs run in the process model and the process itself.
The sequence of programs defined in this process model is as follows:
○ OT_SELECT_PERNR_OTFR initializes the process model. The user selects the personnel numbers for the payroll areas pre-selected in a dialog box. The status of the payroll areas considered on Released for payroll is updated in the HRPAYFR_ADP_PERNUM BAdl implemented by ADP-GSI.
○ RPCALCF0 launches the payroll for each employee selected.
○ RPIF00FI creates an export file based on the options defined in pu12 for the FADP interface format.
○ RPPMFLFI calls program RPFL00FI with the file formatting data based on the options defined in pu12.
○ RPTMSEFI converts the file to ZADIG format.
○ RPSENDFI sends the data file to ADP.
The value of the TEM_DVR code affects the following steps:
○ RPDOWNFI extracts the reference values.
○ RPSENDFI sends the reference values.
○ RPPMCDFI deletes the reference values file and indicates the end of the process.
A breakpoint is planned after each program that does not use the PNP logical database:
1. to manage return codes as they appear in a ADP scenario: a return code less than or equal to 50 stops the process
2. to call the HRFR_PROCESS_STOP_OT_SAPOTFR function module
A conditional breakpoint is planned for management codes. Depending on these codes, it is possible to skip these steps. These breakpoints call the HRFR_PROCESS_NAVIG_OT_SAPOTFR function module.
In the SAPADPFR process model, in the event of an error the process stops on the step following the conditional breakpoint. The function module called allows you to ascertain whether the previous step (STOP_OTFR) was carried out correctly.
A procedure for purging processes is integrated into the FINPER service after the process is closed.
It is possible to view the result of the process and the updated status of the ADP exchange in the exchange table (T5F6K). Program RPDV90FI creates a link between the completed process and the ADP transmission table. You can view this information in the process log for this program. -
PNPCE with Time Management Urgent!!!
Hi,
I got a Project using PNPCE LDB on Time Management. They didn't mention Unicode any where in the Specs.
But, when I was trying to do a simple test program with PNPCE LDB mentioned in attributes and I didn't even check Unicode but it is giving this syntax Error.
" The program is not Unicode-compatible, according to its program attributes. "
Though I avoided this I coulldn't execute the Program.
Can anyone please help me.How to proceed with this.
Thank You,
SwapnaHi Chander,
You can read 0027 similar to how you read 0002 concatenation in PNPCE.

Unable to uninstall cs6 beta version due to Adobe Application Manager error
A few weeks ago I installed the beta version of cs6 but never was able to run that program due to the Adobe Application Manager error I received each time I attempted to launch it. I never found any solutions on the internet so I just gave up. Recently I purchased Photoshop cs6 anyway, however, in order to install cs6 you must uninstall the beta version of cs6. Unfortunately Windows 7 will not uninstall the beta version. Each time I click on uninstall, nothing happens. Until I can uninstall the beta version, I will not be able to install my newly purchased Photoshop cs6. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions?
Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool. The tool can clean up install records for any pre-release (beta) installations of these Creative Suite products.
