Timecard Submission Error

Hi All ,
I am trying to select a value from my customized LOV (for Exp Types) and then I am getting the following error
JBO-25002: Definition DisplayColumn of type Attribute not found
The attribute "DisplayColumn" is already existing in the AK region created for the LOV page and view attribute name is "Custom3VO" . My custom view (hxc_cui_custom3_v) has the following columns :

You are still missing the complete picture. I suggested to use the above as a sample and not the hardcoded fact. but whatever column alias you give for display and Id values, that matters as they are used in the LDT definition.
In your above ldt def:
QUALIFIER_ATTRIBUTE8 = "DisplayColumn"
QUALIFIER_ATTRIBUTE9 = "ExpenditureType"
What do you think about the values DisplayColumn and ExpenditureType? They are nothing but the expected column alias.

Random duplicate submission error

I have switched on the prevent duplicate submission page function on several of my pages in my app and find that from time to time i am randomly getting the duplicate page submission error.
At the time of the error i am navigating from the page to another page by clicking a button which submits the page firing a page branch; not sure why this would be captured as a duplicate page submission??
I am also getting the same random duplicate submission error in the apex builder when i try to change parameters for several different items on the same page
any ideas?

I have managed to narrow it down to hitting the problem when accessing the application through webcache.
when i access directly through the apache listener then i am not encountering the problem. Are there any settings that need to be set in webcache to avoid this problem??
or is it not supported to work with webcache?

Apple iOS App Store submission Errors

I am getting several errors during submission.
1) I'm using the "correct" version of the Adobe AIR 4.0 compiler downloaded from http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/flashruntimes/air/air4-0_sdk_win.zip as noted here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/6081764#6081764
2) I am developing on Windows, using intelliJ, but using the Application Loader on my Macbook
3) I can publish to my iPad for testing/development purposes no problem
4) As far as I can tell I *must* submit the app via a Mac, so I'm submitting from my Macbook AIR even though I am developing on my Windows Desktop
5) This app is "iPad only". I have only inluced <string>2</string> in the supported devices section of the descriptor XML file.
5) When I attempt to submit the app using the Application Loader on the Mac I receive the following errors:
ERROR ITMS-9000 "This bundle is invalid....must be built in Xcode 5"
ERROR ITMS-9000 "Your binary is not optimized for iPhone 5..."
Unable to authenticate the package: 813923839.itmsp
WARNING ITMS-9000 "Missing recommended icon file"
Questions:
Can I submit the application from a different machine from where it was published (and the cer request was made?)
Why am I getting the Xcode 5 error when I'm publishing with an SDK others seem to say works.
Why is it giving me the iPhone error when I have only specified iPad as the only supported devices?

Thanks Colin for the clarification.
I agree that the Manage Adobe AIR SDK option is the right way, rather than replacing the files in the AIR 3.8 directory. With Flash CS5.5 it was necessary to use the exisitng directory to get it to work with new versions of AIR.
The files that I downloaded from labs.adobe.com/downloads are for AIR 13.0.0.42 but the files are intended for Flex developers. After reading your reply I found the AIR SDK 4.0 files that can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html. Creative Cloud does not have a separate product entry for AIR. So it is reasonable to assume that if Flash Pro is up to date then it should include the latest version of AIR - but it doesn't!.
Apparently the product "Flash Profressional CC and Mobile Device Packaging" is unaware when new versions of AIR are released, even if they are necessary to fix critical issues.This is not acceptable for a product that requires a monthly subscription to keep it up to date!
Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh - but I really need Flash and AIR to be reliable and easy to use, so I can get on with making apps!!

Podcast Submission: error message "We had difficulties downloading episodes from your feed."

When I try to submit a podcast into iTunes, the error message that comes up is "We had difficulties downloading episodes from your feed." I've validated the feed. It's not a duplicate submission. Not sure what to fix, as it doesn't list a specific error. Any help??

This is another case of WordPress strikes again. You have one episode, but its media file appears only in the description in the feed, and in a link on the web page. You have to have an 'enclosure' tag containing the media file URL or iTunes will see the episode as having no playable media and thus not show it.
WordPress is producing what is in effect a blog feed: it is possible to get WordPress to produce a podcast feed, and there is evidently something you need to do to enable that, but I'm afraid I can't advise on that.
Your media file is hosted on Dropbox and this is liable to cause you problems. As it's currently set up the link leads to a web page with a download link - this will not work. You have to provide a direct link to the file which will play in a browser, and you should avoid it being https instead of http. You would be better off hosting your media files on an ordinary web server.

Apple app submission error

67 yr old rookie developer. What does this mean and how do I fix it? ERROR ITMS-9000: "Invalid Code Signing. The first one went up and through Apple's review with no problem.

OTL Timecard Batch Error

Hello, My name is Leandro Delorenzo, I´m implementing HCM in Argentina.
I´m writing you because we have a problem with the timecard creation and in metalink, nothing appears under this description.
We are creating a custom process wich at first time get the information from the badges and then enter the info as a timecard.
The problem we are facing is with the batch, because due to OTL batch configuration, only one batch can be assign to a Payroll period, is this correct?
An error appears saying " Batches can only have one end date. This batch is already set up with another end date".
Should we consider in the custom process to create a new batch every time we import the information from the badges to a timecard?

Capturing duplicate submission error

Is it possible to capture the error raised when a duplicate submission is encountered??
I would like to raise the error in-line on the page rather than be taken to the error page.

Wouldn't this be exactly what is needed? Sort of like how inline validation errors are shown by the show engine? You do a Back on the browser, Submit the page, APEX determines that this is a duplicate page submission, creates the appropriate error message (similar to a validation error message) and redraws the page with the last page submission id it knows about (the one with which the page was submitted for the first time without error). This page can NOT be submitted again as it would encounter the same error.
Hm, but now, as far as the browser is concerned, this is a brand new page so the Forward button would be disabled, so there is no way out of the situation!
Looks like the error page with the Redirect URL you suggested (back to the calling page or some other page) is indeed the best option.

BI Publisher Bursting Submission Error -URGENT

my code is:

this being called from the "after report" trigger one of the times in place of the p_request_id which equals the FND_GLOBAL call, I accidentally placed a number which was greater than the highest number of concurrent request ids. I don't know if there is a way to fix this.

ITunes Producer: submission error message

Yesterday I made my first attempt to submit my book to iBooks and got the following error message:
"@env: parameter is null: (null)"
I have no idea what this error refers to, nor does iTunes Producer give you any clues what it is nor how to correct it. I'm left in the dark to know what to do next.
Has anyone come across this error before and successfully corrected it? Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem and somehow solved it.
I guess you just published from iBooks Author and it launched the NEW iTunes Producer that had been seamlessly updated by the App Store mechanism.
The issue appears related to the new Producer not authenticating properly, maybe because it inherits data from the previous version but something does not translate completely.
Try this:
- quit Producer
- launch it again DIRECTLY (find the icon and click it)
- you should see the login form, fill it and ensure everything is fine
- go to your project folder and remove the old *.itmsp file that was generated but left pending
- retry publishing from within iBooks Author

Podcast submission error

Hi,
I had a podcast in the iTunes store (Disembodied Voices was the name), but at some point it became outdated. I asked iTunes to delete it, and it was, my plan being to submit the new feed and start over. (In retrospect, a bad idea.) However, when submitting the podcast, I now get an error message saying that the feed has already been submitted.
The original feed was:

Although I'm now using FeedBurner instead of getting it straight from WordPress, the source still comes from the original. Regardless of which one I try to submit, I get the same error. It's been suggested that changing the feed's name might do the trick, but as a WordPress.com user, I don't think that's possible.
It all seems to come down to a glitch in the iTunes store system, which-- naturally-- I have no power over. WordPress support sent me to iTunes support and iTunes support sent me here. Is there a way to get that feed on iTunes now that the original podcast has been removed? Short of starting a brand new blog, I seem to be locked out entirely.

The feed now works and can be subscribed to in iTunes. There are some minor errors: you have html codes in some of your 'itunes:subtitle' and 'itunes:summary' tags and these will display, not render, in iTunes and look messy - stick to plain text. Several of your episodes have multiple 'enclosure' tags - only the first will be seen by iTunes. These will not cause problems in the Store.
However, the serious issue is that you are hosting your mp3 files on Dropbox. We have had endless complaints that Dropbox doesn't handle requests from the Store properly, resulting in the files not being seen: and furthermore it doesn't handle 'byte-range requests' (the method used by iPhones for downloading podcasts, where part of the file is requested at a time rather than the whole thing - this is required, and the Store will not accept podcasts where the server cannot handle this).
You need to host your media files on an ordinary website server, making sure before committing yourself that it can handle byte range requests.

ITunes Podcasting submission error

I created a podcast in iWeb and I'm trying to publish the podcast on iTunes. During the first step of the submissions process I get an error that submissions require a Title. My podcast has a title AND when open the rss.xml file (created by iWeb) it also has a title. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

[Solved] AUR Submission error: "...outside of directory"

I tried to submit a "makepkg --source" file today, and got this curious error:
Error - source tarball may not contain files outside a directory.
I'm not sure what to make of this. I've submitted other PKGBUILDs last week without an occurrence. Here's the contents of the source file:

For what it's worth that's the first thing that occurred to me. I was about to reply then realized I had nothing to really base that one except the subjective "whoa, that's long". I quickly googled (ok, duck-duck-goed*, but that makes a horrible verb) and didn't find anything establishing such a character limit for the AUR ... though it was a very quick search.
There was a maximum POSIX pathlength of 256 characters ... I really have not kept up with whether that's changed. Your directory name is 60 chars, but perhaps the AUR uploader checks to see that it doesn't contribute too much to a 256 limit. When you figure in the fakeroot and destdir and other elements, this might be the issue.
There's a simple way to test that ...

Contact Form Submission Error

I've got a website on which there is a "Contact Us" form. I have set the submit button to send the form to the email address [email protected] This is the address associated with my Adobe ID. However, instead of receiving a simple form submission, I get the e-mail that I've attached below.

Have you heard about this workaround? I attempted it, but it didn't work for me.

PDF Submission Error

I have created a sign-sheet through adobe central forms. I exported the form as a PDF. I downloaded and completed the form through Adobe. However, when I submit the form I receive this error message:
