Timer problem/ want to note time below mili sec

actually i have to measure the time of an event so for this i need to start the timer when the event fired and stop the timer when it finishes.
I used system milli second time which always return 0, because the time is soo small.
how i can cater time which is less than milli sec ?

Look at System.nanoTime. Also note this disclaimer:
"This method provides nanosecond precision, but not necessarily nanosecond accuracy. No guarantees are made about how frequently values change"

IPhone calendar time problem post daylight savings time change

Addendum to the similar post about a one hour differential between iCal and iPhone. THis is not just iCal. I have the same problem on WIndows XP/Outlook 2003. Everythign worked fine until the time change last weekend. Now this is what happens:
Any meeting set up in Outlook BEFORE Daylight Savings that has a start date BEFORE Daylight Savings appears properly on iPhone. FOr example, every Thursday beginning Nov 1 at 8am. THis shows up correct in iPhone at 8am for today, Nov 8.
But, any meeting set up AFTER Daylight Savings shows up one hour later on the iPhone when I sync. SO a meeting I set up in OUtlook for 10am today shows up at 11am on the iPhone.
And, any calendar event I set up on the iPhone AFTER Daylight Savings shows up one hour earlier in Outlook 2003.
THis is a huge problem for me! Both of my calendars are wrong now. PLease help!!! I have tried everything I can:
I tried setting up meetings with the OUtlook Daylight Savings setting enables and disabled: no change. No differnce whether I set up the meeting on my PC or it is an invitation from someone else. I lost all sync history. no change. I overwrote all calendar content (in iPhone advanced options) - no change.
And, as my fellow poster mentions - the tiime on the two systems match.

I think this problem is more complex. Background - UK clocks went back at the end of October; the USA went back one week later. I am in the UK and my Outlook calendar contains appointments created in the USA.
Someone in the USA created a recurring appointment before any clocks went back. In Outlook everything is correct. The meeting times are the same each week except for the one week between the two clock changes when, quite correctly, the meeting shows up one hour earlier. When I sync with my iPhone, the meeting shows at the same time every week regardless - this is incorrect.
Someone in the USA created a recurring appointment in the week after the UK clocks went back but before the USA clocks did. Outlook correctly shows the first occurrence as one hour earlier than all the following occurrences. Unfortunately - and this is the really nasty bit - the iPhone shows ALL the appointments one hour earlier than they should be. The only one that is correct is the first one.
This is a nasty bug and something that Apple needs to fix.

SCEP scheduled scan time problem with daylight-saving time?

Since the daylight-saving time change from last weekend (1 hour earlier) we see that a large group of SCEP clients start their scheduled scan at 11:00 where we have it set in the policy in SCCM2012 at 12:00.
Most workstations still begin their scan at 12:00.
Any idea?

Time machine seems to not be backing up everything

Basically, after installing Yosemite I have this issue where most of the time I want to use Time Machine with my external HDD it says "Backing up... 1MB/6.35GB". It seems to be only backing up around about 6GB of my computer, where I know that there is definitely over 200GB of data that needs to be backed up. I have noticed that if I erase my backup HDD and then run a backup, it seems to work perfectly, however I do not want to erase my backup disk incase there happens to be a problem with the new backup which results with me not having a backup at all. Is this a bug or is it my hard disk drive? Is there a way I can fix this issue?

If this isn't the initial backup, Time Machine just backs up what has changed, which is a much smaller amount than the total data size.

However, I have 3 Issues Regarding iPad 2 with IOS 7:
1.) I can no longer open up the apps from the update page. (I used to be
able to & it was a quick way of making certain that I wanted to keep an app
before I updated it.
2.) I have many apps that I have updated since installing the new
operating system & they now have "open" symbols next to them, but I don't
know how to get them off of my update list (since that has already been
done to them).
3.) My iPad has gotten stuck or frozen more in this last week since the
new update then has in the last 2 years put together. (It seems to be stemming from the "Updates" page as sometimes that page is just white & will not open, even though everything else opens & I have an internet connection.)

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. You can demote it back to standard status when this step has been completed.

Most of the time my charger does not work . IPAD indicates not charging when recgarger plugged in. Does antone else have the problem?

If you continue to have the issue with a different charger and if you are having any issues syncing with your computer then you may want to take it into an apple store and have them look at it.
The main reason I say this, I had the 30 pin dock die on my iPad, and the symptoms were that it would not charge when plugged into the wall - and with multiple chargers - and it would not sync.
So keep an eye on it, especially if you are close to the end of your warranty.

It sounds like you are unable to make any calls, but you can recieve them, and everything else seems to work fine. I recommend you use the troubleshooting in the following article to help you get that resolved, named:
iPhone: Troubleshooting issues making or receiving calls
Follow the steps below to resolve this issue. Please test after each step.
Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings > Enable Airplane Mode, wait five seconds, then turn off airplane mode.
Check your phone settings:
Check your Do Not Disturb settings: Tap Settings > Do Not Disturb.
Check for any blocked phone numbers: Tap Settings > Phone > Blocked.
See if Call Forwarding is turned on: Tap Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding.
Ensure that your software is up to date:
Check for a carrier settings update.
Check for an iOS software update.
Note: Some updates may require a Wi-Fi connection.
If the iPhone has a SIM card, reseat the SIM card.
If the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s is on the Verizon network, dial *228 from the iPhone and select option 2 to update the Preferred Roaming List (PRL). The PRL determines the cellular towers the phone uses for cellular service, selecting those with the best signal strength.

Your account is properly configured to use the specific iPhone that has the issue.
There are no localized service outages.
Your account doesn't have a billing-related block.
Your calls don't have errors on the carrier system.
Restore the phone as new.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, go to an Apple Retail Store, carrier, Apple Authorized Reseller, or contact AppleCare to send the phone in for service.

Jailbroken phoned are not supported here. Anything could be wrong with it - it is jailbroken.

If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
