TMS: Show Message X Minutes Before End

Hello,
i am with TMS 13.2 actually, but will be upgraded at latest until end of 2013.
Our problem is the end of conference message, which will be sent from TMS to endpoints 5 Minutes before the conference ends.
It works fine for scheduled conferences within TMS and automatically DIAL-OUT.
If we use manual DIAL-IN into a conference (especially for any MCU conference) the confernence end message will not be send to any endpoint (but the event itself will be listed in the CCC in event log).
Does this happen due to TMS 13.2 or is it unsupported for all Dial-In conferences? We are also use the TMS API for booking, which allows the users to book ressources on a MCU, and they get back theDial-In number for the MCU and conference, but the conference ends message nevers appaers on the endpoints.
IF i book a conference in TMS scheduler with Dial-Out it works fine, with Dial-In it doesnt work at all.

TMS is not sending such messages to Jabber soft clients, TMS is sending them as in-video messages to the conference bridge. I think we started doing that for all modern bridge types (Conductor, TelePresence MCU, TelePresence Server) in TMS 14.2.
"Also, does anyone know why, if I have a 5 and 1 minute warning, that sometimes TMS will give a 4 and 1 minute warning, or simply just a 1 minute warning?"
One reason could be that TMS's LiveService has way too much to do, and either drops events or delays them. When it happens, do you see anything in the LiveService logs that indicate performance problems?

  • Blackberry gets message 30 minutes before iMac

    I have a godaddy email and it has worked fine up until recently (maybe the last month or two). I receive an email on my blackberry and I get nothing on my mac. I can press the "get mail" button until I am blue in the face but nothing happens. Then like thirty minutes later it will finally show up on my mac. One odd thing is that if I get a message on my phone and I quit and restart my mail application then I get the email on my mac immediately. Any thoughts on this? I have put in a request for help from godaddy but am not expecting much. Also, it seems like if it were something on godaddy's side it would be delayed to my phone too, not just my mac.

    sent some test emails and this seems to have done it. Odd that it should not affect anything since it says "if" the server supports it. Wonder if it got checked somehow or if something changed in an update or something.

    Are you seen that message when trying to view your orders from your Verizon account? I have the same issue but if you search your preorder confirmation number and enter you last name here Order Status | Verizon Wireless then it will at least give the vague details like, "your order has been received and is been processed" It will also show the expected delivery date.

  • Message sitting in Queues for 30 minutes before MDB picks them up

    We're seeing a situation where we place messages on a queue and a small percentage of them will sit on the queue for 30 minutes before being picked up by the MDB to process. Anyone see this before?
              Here is the background. We're running 3 distributed queues on a cluster of 4 Weblogic 8.1 sp3 servers. The 30 minute issue happens on all 3 queues on all 4 servers. Currently we do not see a pattern. It can happen at a busy hour and in the middle of the night with nothing going on. During a busy timeframe, we can get up to 50 msg that hangup over a few minutes; less than 5 minutes.
              Our Service is an enterprise email service where various clients send email request to us via EJB. The EJB puts an entry into the database and puts a request msg into the queue. The MDB pulls it off the queue sends it to an email subsystem and updates the database.
              We added log msgs in both the EJB and MDB to track messages and narrowed it down to the requests just sitting in the JMS queue. We DO NOT set a delivery time via setJMSDeliveryTime().
              As mentioned is happens anytime during the day (busy or idle), may go for days without occuring, on any of the 3 JMS queues, on any of the 4 cluster servers, and for any of the clients. It's consistantly 30 minutes. This occurs on a small number of requests, but is enough to concern our business owner.
              Any thoughts on possible problems or any thoughts on monitoring or tracking down the issue is greatly appreciated.

    One possibility is that the messages have already been pushed to an MDB instance in the JMS asynchronous consumer pipeline, but the MDB instance has stalled during message processing - which delays processing of the following messages. The waiting messages count as "pending" in the JMS statistics.
              You can reduce the number of messages in a JMS asynchronous consumer's pipeline via the "MessagesMaximum" connection factory setting (default is 10). First: create a custom connection factory with transactions enabled (to support transactional MDBs), and ack-mode set to "previous" (to support pub/sub MDBs), and MessagesMaximum set to its lowest possible value. Second: specify this connection factory's JNDI name in the MDB's weblogic descriptor.

    That's a country code. Are you sending it to someone outside of the US or who is using a foreign carrier? Their carrier is prefixing the phone number with the country code for your phone number.

    Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
    If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Oi would not have thought the film would not have started unless the film was fully downloaded. The film warned me prior to tarting that I only had 48 hours to watch once starting!

  • Warning message to users before auto-logoff

    Our Basis folks have set up auto logout after a certain amount of user inactivity.
    The users have requested a warning message 10, and then 5 minutes before they are logged off due to inactivity.  Our Basis person says this would have to be done in ABAP. Is this true?.  If it is, how would I do it in ABAP? Is there a table that shows active/inactive time by user?  Thanks.

    OK - so they get a popup ten minutes before logoff; if they respond to it, the clock is reset and they don't get logged off; otherwise, another popup at five minutes; if they don't respond they get logged off. Is that about correct?

  • Run out of licenses, can do 20 reports in 20 minutes before receiving error

    <p>I have a problem with running out of Licenses when using our ASP.NET Web Application.</p><p>Our Web Application exports and opens a Crystal Report to PDF when the user clicks on the report link.  Unfortunately we have only a certain number of licenses available and after each use it&#39;s useless for about 20 minutes!  In a 20 minute period we are able to run up to 20 reports before getting the "out of licenses" error page. </p><p>So if you have 5 users going through multiple reports in a short time we&#39;ve run out of licenses and they have to wait 20 minutes before trying again!?! </p><p>I am trying to find a means of improving this and have a few thoughts on how:</p><ol><li>Close the license being used (and make available to somebody else) once the report is created. <br /><em>We generally do not have 20 <u>concurrent </u>users at any time but in a 20 minute time span we can have over 20 report requests.</em><br /> <br /></li><li>Shorten the time before the license becomes available again (like to 5 minutes) <br /><em>Long enough for even the larger reports to run, but short enough that the chances of 20 reports being requested in a 5 minute period is slim.<br /> <br /></em> </li><li>Save the License use for that particular USER for the period of time (so if they open 1 or 10 reports it all utilizes the same License). <br /><em>This would work fine because it&#39;s a small office of just over 20 users and the chance of everybody accessing reports in that same 20 minutes is very low.<br /> <br /></em> </li></ol><p> If anybody has any ideas, suggestions, hints, or "it can&#39;t be done" I would greatly appreciate it!  We haven&#39;t found anything in the RAS settings and I haven&#39;t found anything that effects the LICENSING in .NET (and using Report.Close() does not free up the license).</p><p> Thanks,</p><p>~Drew </p>
