Hi SDN SAPERS,
I am getting a problem.
So I need ur instant help.
There is a  standart report named Rptcc106 having select-options logical system.
And there is a check box and we have to click it named general idoc.
But the issue is when I execute it should be retrive the data from logical system.
The data are not in the logical system.
It is a time management system blongs to sap hr.
What are the time input and time output  a employee put in a punching machine the times should be update in sap hr.

Yes, you can use regular TCP/IP or UDP communication for LAN communications. There is however no built-in support for much else then WebRequests, so if you want to use any other protocol you will either have to implement it yourself on top of TCP/IP or
look for community projects that add said support (I'm currently not aware of any but it's worth looking around).

    Any idea what could have went wrong suddenly, everything was working fine from last 1 month.

    Never mind, figured out there was a lock on SQL table which caused all the problems. Once I released the lock it PowerPivot refresh started working fine.

    Hi gurus!
    please , help me out , i wanna transfer data from dot net to sap system. i have no idea abt it.
    Points can be given sure!!!!!!

    Hi,
    You need to create a RFC(Remote Function Call) to achieve this.
    Goto Transaction SE37
    Import Parameters(What all data you are going to pass from JAVA to SAP)
    EXPORT parameters(What all data you want to pass from SAP to JAVA)
    TABLES parameters (What all tables you want to pass from JAVA to SAP)
    Goto Attributes tab & select Remote Enabled.
    Do the coding to insert records in ZTABLE.
    Activate the RFC
    Now, in JAVA code to login to sap & call the RFC with the required data.

    1. How to link between Legacy system(ORACLE APPS) and SAP ?
            If you have SAP PI in place then you can interact with oracle database tables directly from PI and then data can be posted to SAP transactions through IDocs/BAPIs.
            If you did not have SAP PI still you can do JDBC connection directly from ABAP program. Not sure about the exact steps check in forum.
    2. How to migrate the data from Oracle tables to SAP directly, instead of loading the flat files(.txt, .xls) ?
            If you want to directly post the data SAP transactions (I hope not directly to SAP tables) then connection needs to establish through ABAP program or Via. PI.

  • How to copy the Data From Oracle Table To SAP Table

    Hi Friends,
    We need to copy the data from Oracle Database Table to SAP Table. The data should be updated simultaneously in both tables . Should I write a program that contains the native sql statement like EXEC SQL PERFORMING WRITE,....
    I appreciate any suggestions regarding this.
    Regards
    CSM Reddy

    Hi,
    since you posted this question in the DB2 forum I assume that you are using a DB2 database for your SAP system.
    To access a table from a legacy ORACLE database you may use the DBSL multiconnect feature. I.e. you open a secondary connecction in the SAP system to your ORALE database. You can then ready the data from the ORACLE database into an ABAP internal table and insert it afterwards into the DB2 table on the main connection.
    Another way to access an ORACLE table from a DB2 database is to use the DB2 federated database feature. This requires a little bit more DB2 skill. With this feature you can make the ORACLE table visible within the DB2 database. To copy data you can then simply use a "INSERT ... SELECT" statement.

  • How to bring data from Oracle based Non SAP System to SAP

    Dear Friends,
    I have two servers, one is SAP and the other one is Non SAP with Oracle in backend. Please suggest how to take data from the NonSAP server to SAP server or how to connect the two.
    Please send the step-by-step configuration if possible.
    Thanks in advance,
    Alok.

    Hi
    Step 1: Create an entry for the External database in DBCON table using Trxn: DBCA.
    Table: DBCON (Description of Database Connections)
    Field Name     Description                          Value (For: E.g.:)
    CON_NAME   Logical name for a database connection    RAJ
    DBMS       Database system                           MSS
    USER_NAME  Database user                            <username>
    PASSWORD   Password for setting up the connection   <pwd>/<pwd>
    CON_ENV   Database-specific information             MSSQL_SERVER=depotserver MSSQL_DBNAME=HOF_INDORE
    DB_RECO
    Step 2: Now you can write code to connect to the external database…
    Your Sample code can be something like this……
    FUNCTION-POOL z_houston. "MESSAGE-ID ..
    DATA: BEGIN OF wa,
    c_locid(3),
    c_locname(50),
    c_locstate(5),
    END OF wa.
    FUNCTION z_houston_connect.
    ""Local interface:
    EXEC SQL.
    CONNECT TO 'RAJ' AS 'V'
    ENDEXEC.
    EXEC SQL.
    SET CONNECTION 'V'
    ENDEXEC.
    *- Get the data from MS-SQL Server
    EXEC SQL.
    open C1 for
    select
    loc_id,
    loc_name,
    loc_state
    from ho_loc_mast
    ENDEXEC.
    DO.
    EXEC SQL.
    FETCH NEXT C1 into :wa-c_locid, :wa-c_locname, :wa-c_locstate
    ENDEXEC.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
    PERFORM loop_output.
    ELSE.
    EXIT.
    ENDIF.
    ENDDO.
    EXEC SQL.
    CLOSE C1
    ENDEXEC.
    ENDFUNCTION.
    *& Form LOOP_OUTPUT
    Output
    FORM loop_output .
    WRITE: /5 wa-c_locid, 10 wa-c_locname, 65 wa-c_locstate.
    CLEAR wa.
    ENDFORM. " LOOP_OUTPUT

  • How to extract data from ODS to non-SAP system

    Hi,
    Can anybody tell me, step by step, how to extract data from ODS to a non-SAP system?
    Is it possible to do it without programming effort? And is there volume limits for this kind of extraction?
    The non-SAP system is an unix system.
    Thanks in advance
    Ella

    Ella,
    You can look at it from the concept of a BADI / Infospoke
    Extract the data from the ODS to a Flat file / RDBMS using an infospoke. I am not sure as to how the infospoke loads data into the RDBMS ( did it very long ago ) but then you can push it into an RDBMS and I am sure it will be system neutral.
    Hope this helps...

  • How to transfer all the data from Logic pro to other drive (faster)?

    Hi
    I am trying to upgrade the performance of my Mac and decided to upgrade the RAM and to use a dedicated HardDrive for Logic Pro using firewire (i have a mac mini server...). Think the Processor e fast enough...
    How can i transfer all the information for that drive?
    Can i move the media library from the OS drive to the new drive? or has it to stay were initially instaled?
    I moved to Mac because my Windows "Super 16GB QuadCore PC" was giviing me trouble...in relation to connections, critical errors...
    I am a novice on the Mac "ways"...
    Can someone give me directions?

    Logic doesn't store the majority of its data in designated library places, so you can put your session files and audio files wherever you want. If you move the location of something, say an audio file, and logic doesn't know where to find that asset, then it'll present you with a dialog box which asks you if you can tell it where you moved it to, or if you'd like it to go off and search for files of that name for you. They're all just files on a hard disk. There's only a few things which have to be stored in particular places, such as preferences or sampler instruments. Anything that isn't part of the program, you can store it wherever you want. In a session you can have for example all the live parts on one hard disk, and then all your samples on another hard disk. It's all arbitrary and can be defined by you.
    So yes, you can generally keep your media library wherever you want (as far as Logic is concerned).

  • Regarding Native SQL to access Oracle Data from SAP

    Dear Gurus,
    This query is regarding Native SQL.
    Our database is Oracle and the client's database is also Oracle.
    To access the data directly from the client's database(Oracle), can I use Native SQL commands?
    Is there any disadvantage to use Native SQL?
    If Native SQL can be used, can any one send me the code to access the data from Oracle?
    Points will be rewarded.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Neeraj K.

    The problem is always data integrity. Doing things this way you are bypassing any business logic. So for example if you are connecting to a SAP Oracle database. SAP will not support your SAP system as you are doing direct updates to the database. I would suppose that this would be the same for any other product using the Oracle database. If you are only reading data from the database then it should be fine. I would however always using API's to access/update data.

  • Get the Data from a DataSource

    Hi,
    I start with JMF. I use a processor to get DataSource from an audio file. Until there, all runs very well.
    But after that, I would like to get the raw data of my DataSource to aplly a filter on these data and after that, to create a new DataSource with filters data and play these data with my processor.
    I searched in the API documentation of JMF but I did'nt find the solution to get the raw data of my DataSource !
    Someone could help me ? and give me an idea of how to proceed ?
    Thanks for yours answers.
    Sylvain.

    Hi,
    It seems no one has replied to this post. I have a sample code that can help getting raw data from a DataSource. Here it is:
              PushBufferDataSource source = null;
              source = (PushBufferDataSource)processor.getDataOutput();
              /* Now we can retrieve the PushBufferStreams that will enable us to
              * access the data from the camera
              PushBufferStream[] streams = source.getStreams();
              camStream = null;
              for (int i = 0; i < streams.length; i++) {
              /* Use the first Stream that is RGBFormat (there should be only one */
              if (streams.getFormat() instanceof RGBFormat) {
                   camStream = streams[i];
                   RGBFormat rgbf = (RGBFormat)streams[i].getFormat();
                   converter = new BufferToImage(rgbf);
                   break;
    Please let me know whether it helped solving your problem..
