TO ADD A CUSTOM ENTRY IN RIGHT CLICK POP UP MENU IN ORACLE HRMS FLEX FIELDS

We are building a custom help for Oracle HRMS. For this I need to add a custom Help entry in the right click pop up menu. I did this by adding the code APP_POPUP.INSTANTIATE('POPUP10','Custom Help',TRUE,'LINE') in the APPCORE lib. After this change the right click menu shows the new entry 'Custom Help' when user right clicks in any of the form but the new entry Custom Help' doesn't show up when I right click in flexfields. I am sure I need to do some thing else for flex fields.. Does any one have any idea on this ?

You have to refer to the Current Form, Current Block , Current Item so that the menu appears only in the form where you want to see.

I would disable the right click.....
perhaps you can call a javascript function to display a table of options on your jsp with a layer:

PPC Mac OS 10.4.11 with Firefox 3.6.13 does not allow GoogleMap's right click pop-up menu. Any fix?

Since the last Firefox update to v3.6.13 I do not get the right click menu in Google Maps. I am running a PPC iMac with OS 10.4.11 and this has always worked before. It works correctly in Safari.

If I want to add a custom link to the left-hand navigation menu In a SharePoint 2013 sub-site, it can be done by visiting
Site Settings à Navigation section and adding the link under
Structural Navigation: Editing and Sorting section. However, this will automatically add a matching link to the top menu as a dropdown.
(Note that Global Navigation is set to “Display the same navigation items as the parent site” where “Parent is using Structural Navigation.” and Current Navigation is set to “Structural Navigation:
Display only the navigation items below the current site”)

The Initial view setting works perfectly when the file is opened in Acrobat after setting the desired Initial View.
When you upload the file onto Wordpress, and view it on that website in the browser...it might be using a different pdf handler program which might be causing this issue ( it would be helpful, if you could provide the screenshot) , however when you download the pdf again from wordpress server...and open in Acrobat/Reader...then what exactly happens ? Does the pdf opens in the desired Initial View setting?

I'm having the same issue. I got a new PC, insalled Acrobat X pro and when I right click on an Office file, I could not combine or convert Office files to PDF. I upgraded to Acrobat XI and still no fix. I triled to convert or combine office files to PDF from within Acrobat and I get an error message saying "Acrobat does not support the conversion of one or more of your files to PDF. Please remove these files or go to Settings and choose the PDF Portfolio option".
I've tried to convert or combine Office 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 files and none work. The weird thing is that the option shows up for Excel .csv files. Even more werid is that I have the PDF tabs showing in the Office applications.
I contacted Adobe support via chat and they were unable to help. I was directed here, so any help would be great.

Yes, it is possible to customize the context menu in Outlook. See
Customizing Context Menus in Office 2010 for more information.
But VBA doesn't allow to customize the Fluent UI in Outlook, you need to develop an add-in instead.

Way to search custom engines via right-click/updated version of AcidSearch?

Are there any current ways to search highlighted text in a customized list of engines via right-clicking it? I used to do it via AcidSearch but it hasn't been updated in years, and the author is not planning on doing so.
I'm currently using Firefox because it has that capability via add-ons, but I'd rather use Safari as I've noticed that version 4 can handle most pages FF can't, plus it's faster and FF 4 has been postponed to 2011. Thanks

I think this application has a some potential. However, it has a long way to go to reach that potential.
Let's start with the toolbar (the blue button that appears on the taskbar) that is created by default when the application is installed. If you'll forgive my bluntness, it's a distracting waste of space and a flagrant misuse of the toolbar user interface.
If there is something wrong that requires urgent attention (like, for example, the hard disk is failing), then the program should open a dialog box. Otherwise, user notifications should be displayed in -- surprise -- the Notification Area. Please have your developers read and understand the Windows User Experience Interaction Guidelines.
And seriously, what is up with the Coverflow-esque marketing garbage on the -- ugh -- "Ultimate Business Tool" tab? If you're wondering why this program has the reputation of being bloatware, look no further than here. This has no business being in a diagnostic application.
I could say more, but I think you get my drift. Remember the old version of PC Doctor? When all it did was scan your computer for problems and gave you a nice report, without trying to take over your taskbar or sell you stuff? Ah, the good old days.

Customizing items on right click of a page in siteadmin

Hi,
We have a requirement where we want to show users a "prompt" when user right clicks on a page and selects any of the items. Please see the attached snapshot on what i am talking about.
I want something similar to what is prompted when someone clicks on delete and i want it on click of the activate button. Basically i want to ask the user - "are you sure you want to activate".
has anyone done this before. Can you please advice how this can be achieved?

Menu bar items don't work, right click drop down menu gone

when i right click, nothing happens, also although the menu bar is there, but there is no drop-down menu for any items (file edit etc). i've checked this on my other browsers, i have opera, seamonkey and google chrome.
all these things work except for menu bar in google chrome since it doesn't have one by default.

I restarted firefox 4 with Add-Ons Disabled. Go to Help and use the Down Arrow key to select the Restart with Add-Ons Disabled option.
A startup box with options will show up. Do NOT select any of the options unless you want to disable the item permanently. It started in SAFE MODE and then there were no problems at all with the Menus. I simply Customized some of the menu bars and then restarted. Now all the Add-Ons are back, the menu bars are where I had them before AND the Drop-down Menus are WORKING!!!

Right click is not working on oracle form

I created a custom form using template.fmb
When user trying to pasted some data into text field and right clikc the mouse , the popup menu is not coming.
Actually nothing is happening when right click the mouse.
Please help me on this one and let me know if I am missing any setups or any libraries .....

Unfortunately, you have to assign the Popup menu to each item using the Popup Menu property of the item. Also, unfortunately, the Set_Item_Property() built-in does not allow you to set this property at runtime; you must set the property value during design. You can use the JDAPI Java library to dyamically modify your Forms binaries (.fmb). Search the forum on "JDAPI" for information about using this library. If you are not Java proficient, then only option available to you would be to select all of the items you want to use this popup menu and set the property in mass.

We are developing a Plugin with the specific purpose to display the URL to which any link redirect to on any website.
This URL should appear in the pop up when the user right clicks and selects the "show URL" option in the context menu.
Can some one please help us either to find such plugin (except firebug) or guide us how to develop such a plugin.

Greetings all,
Can anyone please advise how to remove the Administrator / Super User menu that appears when you right click the Windows Icon (old start button) in Server 2012 R2 - for RDS users. I have searched and been able to disable access to each of these menu items (Control
Panel, Event Viewer, Run, etc). But I am searching for a way to completely remove the menu. This menu also appears when you use Win-X shortcut.

You can try following points, might helpful in your case. Go to
C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
there you will see file called WinX
Right click this file and copy then go to
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
then paste the file into the folder.
NOTE: replace YOUR_USERNAME with your actual username.
