To determine Code diff of two same units placed in two different instances

Hi All
I have a procedure, say PROC_TEST in two different instances, say INST_ONE and INST_TWO.
The PROC_TEST in instance INST_ONE is as:
Create or replace PROC_TEST(
var_num1 number)
is
begin
dbms_output.put_line('I am in PROC_TEST');
end;
Create or replace PROC_TEST(var_num1 number)
is
var_number number := var_num1;
begin
dbms_output.put_line('I am in PROC_TEST');
dbms_output.put_line('The value of var_number is '||var_number);
end;
Now, i need to determine the diff between these two procedures, which will return me only the code diff, not the diff due to formatting.
NOTE: I have arround 6700 such units, so i can't go for comparing one unit at a time.

  • Consolidation of data in two different instances

    Hi,
    I am having a scenario that ABCD is a subsidiary of holding company PQRS. Both the systems are running on two different instances of SAP. Now the ABCD is going for SAP implementation. PQRS is interested to consolidate the data of PQRS as well as ABCD. In ABCD, let me presume that the group chart of account has been used and each GL account of operating chart of account has been mapped to group chart of account GL account. Now, the question is how the data of ABCD can be transferred / moved to PQRS. The presumptions are: 1. There is RFC connections between ABCD and PQRS 2. PQRS is consolidating using EC-CS
    Please throw some light on this.
    Thanks in advance.

    1. If your source system is sending all the entries in a single message you can easily do this via the mapping in XI
    2. Suppose your source system is sending these 4 message separately and then you want to consolidate, then you will have to involve BPM.
    You will need to collect these messages and then have a N:1 mapping that does the consolidation

  • BAI code map to two  different GL's based on currency

    For a BAI code ex:195,if i have to post to two different Gl accounts based on the currency for the incming payments.How do i map it in EBS.One BAI code to two different gl's based on currency.
    Please advice.

    In the EBS config, you assign BAI codes to posting rules.  Posting rules use account symbols.  GL Accounts are assigned to account symbols.  When you map account symbols to GL accounts, you can create different entries by currency.  So you would set up multiple entries for the account symbol(s) - one entry per currency - and assign the appropriate GL account for the currency.

    Hi,
    Registered Servers meets your requirements.
    The Query Editor window in SQL Server Management Studio can connect to and query multiple instances of SQL Server at the same time. The results that are returned by the query can be merged into a single results pane, or they can be returned
    in separate results panes. As an option, Query Editor can include columns that provide the name of the server that produced each row, and also the login that was used to connect to the server that provided each row. For more information about how to execute
    multiserver queries, see
    Execute Statements Against Multiple Servers Simultaneously (SQL Server Management Studio).
    To execute queries against all the servers in a local server group, right-click the server group, point to click
    Connect, and then click New Query. When queries are executed in the new Query Editor window, they will execute against all servers in the group, using the stored connection information including the user authentication context. Servers
    registered by using SQL Server Authentication but not saving the password will fail to connect.

  • Customer Standard page is behaving differently in two different instances Y

    HI Guru's,
    I am querying the data in one Customer standard page in support6 instance for eg: 27868 is a Acccount Number we are searching for this and we are getting the Data in this instance here the thing is the Account is Inactive and we can view even Inactive customers in this.
    Now we are seraching for the Customer Number(Acct. Number) same : 27868 in Support 3 instance now here the magic thing i found is i am unable to get the Data in this intance here this one also in backend it is Inactive Customer and this is also a Standard page there is no customization for this.
    Why these two instances are behaving like this if i search for a Same Account Number in Customer search page its a oracle standard page there is no customization.
    Support 6 -- Is Multi node having 2 nodes
    Support 3 -- Is Multi node having 3 nodes .
    Previously we have perform one customization we have changed the query in both the instances same query then also it is behaving like previous one, So we plan to remove the complete customization to both of the instances and tried so we are facing this Issue.
    Note : Support 6 having some Oracle Patches is different from Support 3 Patches means some patches is not applied in Support 3 instances.
    So, is there any issue of those patches and these are not OAF Patches its some Apps Patches.
    Please it's a High Priority issue for me so OAF Guru's update me your valuable answers to me so that i can check out why it is behaving like this.

    Hi
    I have removed my personalizations and customizations in all nodes like this,
    begin
    jdr_utils.deletedocument('/oracle/apps/ar/hz/components/search/server/customizations/site/0/HzPuiDQMSrchResultsVO');
    end;
    Commit ;
    begin
    jdr_utils.deletedocument('/oracle/apps/ar/hz/components/search/webui/customizations/site/0/HzPuiDQMSearchResults');
    end;
    Commit ;
    Next i have run jdr_utils.printdocument also in all the instances so i got these output
    Error: Could not find document /oracle/apps/ar/hz/components/search/server/customizations/site/0/HzPuiDQMSrchResultsVO
    Error: Could not find document /oracle/apps/ar/hz/components/search/webui/customizations/site/0/HzPuiDQMSearchResults
    in all the instances same , so now its a standard functionality right because i have reverted back my customizations.
    i have these two scripts because 1. this is for Vo substitution removed and 2. this is for two new attributes that i added before that was removed.
    Even i have checked the "About this page" link and then we tried to see the query and we got the standrad query only.
    Yes DBA bounced all the 3 nodes for Support 3 and in Support 6 also he bounced 2 nodes.
    The Database has only 1 common node and 1 $java_Top which is shared for all the 3 nodes for support 3 instance and for Support 6 instance that is diffrent $Java_Top .

  • Receiver determination doesn't work for same IDoc type but in differentSWCV

    hi guys,
    we have an emergency now. Receiver determination doesn't work for same IDoc type but in different SWCV.Please check below for detail.
    1. The process flow is : R/3 IDoc -> XI -> Third party system
    2. In previous release R13, IDoc ORDERS05 was imported and used in XI and software component version is R13. And receiver determination was created.
    3. Now, in new release R17, IDoc ORDERS05 was imported from R/3 to XI again and software component version is R17. And in R17, the receiver determination created in R13 was used for both old interface(R13) and new interface in R17.
    Then we encountered the problem, both interfaces doesn't work now, even we deleted the receiver condition(In R13, IDoc ORDERS05 was sent to system A, and in R17 IDoc ORDERS05 was sent to system B, RCVPRN was used as an condition).
    Does anyone encounter this problem? really need and appreciate your help.
    -Eddie

    information from monitor:
    Status     Sender               Service Sender Namespace                         Sender Interface
    reschedul  XXXCLNT100     urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages   ORDRSP.ORDERS05
    columns for "Receiver Service","Receiver Namespace", "Receiver Interface" are blank
    And then double click records in monitor, go into detail information...
    Normally there's lots of setps existed, such as
    Inbound Message ( CENTRAL )
    Receiver Identification
    Interface Determination
    Receiver Grouping
    Message Branch According to Receiver List
    Technical Routing
    Call Adapter
    But now there's only one setp -
    "Inbound Message ( CENTRAL )" existed, no any another setp..., and payload in inbound message looks good.
    And in SMQ2, I checked the queue information, found there's an error - "An exception occurred that was not caught." No any other detail information for this error.

  • Two TT instances  with same physical  files

    HI All,
    can we have two timesten instances sharing the same set of physical files like check point , log files .
    Node A
    Timesten instance1 running
    Node B
    Timesten Instance2 running
    both Timesten instances instance1,instnce2 with shared physical ( check point , log files )
    Please tell me above configuration is possible or not

    Can you please elaborate on the background to this question? Do you want to 'share' the files such that both instances can use them concurrently or is this related to some form of shared disk failover/HA mechanism?
    It is absolutely not possible to concurrently access the same set of datastore files from two different instances and in fact TimesTen goes to some lengths to prevent this. If you managed to circumvent this protection the result would be a totally corrupted database.
    It is possible to use shared disk failover with TimesTen though this is not at all an optimal way to implement HA with TimesTen. TimesTen replication is the recommended HA mechanism to use.

  • Is it possible to install two SAP system with same SID but different instance numbers on one host?

    Is it possible to install two SAP system with same system ID (SID) but different instance numbers on one host?
    If yes, then how?
    If no, then why?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sarim

    Is it possible to install two SAP system with same system ID (SID) but different instance numbers on one host?
    Yes, it is possible. If one is CI (PAS) and the second one is an AS (AAS). In this case there will be only one database.
    If you are talking about two separate SAP systems with separate databases (Eg: A BI and an ECC) with the same SID then the problem will be with the database (Eg: Oracle)
    The database will be installed under /oracle/SID/112_64 (ORACLE_HOME) unless one database is running on 10 G and in that case the ORACLE_HOME will be /oracle/SID/102_64
    The next issue will be with the SAP file systems like /sapmnt/SID
    The most important problem will be with the switch to the sidadm and orasid users and the conflicts there. If there is a need to stop one of the SAP systems and if you do a switch to sidadm and issue a stopsap command which system will be stopped ?
    These are few of the many problems I can think of.
    So if we are talking about two separate systems with their own databases I would rule out the possibility of having two systems with the same SID.

  • Connecting to two database instances using the same Toplink

    Hi,
    We are trying to create a process using BPEL where data from one database instance needs to be passed to the other. The process is compiling properly and we could deploy it in BPEL Process Manager. But when we try to run the process, the data is not getting inserted into the second instance. There is no error /exception being thrown at most of the time, but at times we are getting a 'Unique constraint error' eventhough there is no duplication of data.
    Can we connect to two different instances using the same toplink. How can we achieve this.

  • Getting DISTINCT count from two different columns

    Hi all,
    I have following query which gives currency code from two different tables. I would like to get the distinct count of currency codes from these two different columns.
    SELECT eb.person_seq_id, eb.bonus_amount, eb.currency_cd, ed.currency_cd_host
    FROM fr_emp_bonuses eb, fr_emp_details ed, fr_periods p
    WHERE eb.person_seq_id = ed.person_seq_id AND ed.period_seq_id = eb.period_seq_id
    AND ed.period_seq_id = p.period_seq_id AND p.period_status = 'CURRENT'
    AND eb.bonus_amount >= 0 AND eb.person_seq_id = 3525125;
    This query gives following result
    3525125     240000     USD     INR
    3525125     0      USD     INR
    3525125     60000      USD     INR
    3525125     50000      USD     INR
    There are two distinct currency codes (USD, INR) and total amount is 350000. So I am looking for a query to give me the following result
    3525125     350000 2
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Here's one way:
    WITH     original_query     AS
         SELECT  eb.person_seq_id
         ,     eb.bonus_amount
         ,     eb.currency_cd
         ,     ed.currency_cd_host
         FROM     fr_emp_bonuses         eb
         ,     fr_emp_details          ed
         ,     fr_periods          p
         WHERE      eb.person_seq_id    = ed.person_seq_id
         AND      ed.period_seq_id    = eb.period_seq_id
         AND      ed.period_seq_id    = p.period_seq_id
         AND      p.period_status         = 'CURRENT'
         AND      eb.bonus_amount     >= 0
         AND     eb.person_seq_id    = 3525125
    ,     unpivoted_data     AS
         SELECT     person_seq_id
         ,     bonus_amount
         ,     currency_cd
         FROM     original_query
        UNION ALL
            SELECT  person_seq_id
         ,     0               AS bonus_amount
         ,     currency_cd_host     AS currency_cd
         FROM     original_query
    SELECT       person_seq_id
    ,       SUM (bonus_amount)          AS total_bonus_amount
    ,       COUNT (DISTINCT currency_cd)     AS distinct_currency_cds
    FROM       unpivoted_data
    GROUP BY  person_seq_id
    ;There may be a shorter, more efficient way to get the same results, but without knowing more about your tables, I can't tell.
    The tricky thing is getting two columns (currency_cd and currencuy_cd_host in this case) counted together. You can't simply say
    COUNT (DISTINCT eb.currency_cd) +
    COUNT (DISTINCT ed.currency_code_host)That happens to get the correct result with the sample data you posted, but what if you had data like thEe following?
    currency_cd     currency_cd_host
    INR          USD
    USD          INRHere, the count of distinct currency_cds is 2, and the count of distinct currency_cd_hsots is also 2. Does that mean the grand total is 2 + 2 = 4? No, the 2 codes in one column arte the same 2 codes as in the other column. We need to get both currency_cd and currency_cd_hsot into the same column, and then do COUNT (DISTINCT ...) on that combined column. A UNION, as shown above, will certainly do that, starting with your query as you posted it. The query you posted isn't necessarily the best frist step towards this result, however, so there may be a much better approach, depending on your tables.
    Edited by: Frank Kulash on Feb 1, 2012 6:21 PM
    Here's a slightly shorter, and probably more efficient way to get the same results:
    WITH     cntr     AS
         SELECT     LEVEL     AS n
         FROM     dual
         CONNECT BY     LEVEL     <= 2
    SELECT       eb.person_seq_id
    ,       SUM (eb.bonus_amount)          AS total-amount
    ,       COUNT ( DISTINCT CASE
                        WHEN  c.n = 1
                        THEN  eb.currency_cd
                        ELSE  ed.currency_cd_host
                      END
              )               AS distinct_currency_cds
    FROM       fr_emp_bonuses    eb
    ,       fr_emp_details    ed
    ,       fr_periods          p
    ,       cntr              c
    WHERE        eb.person_seq_id  = ed.person_seq_id
    AND        ed.period_seq_id  = eb.period_seq_id
    AND        ed.period_seq_id  = p.period_seq_id
    AND        p.period_status   = 'CURRENT'
    AND        eb.bonus_amount   >= 0
    AND       eb.person_seq_i   = 3525125
    --       NOTE: no join condition involving c; we really do want a cross-join
    GROUP BY  eb.person_seq_id
    ;

  • Accessing two different wls instances in Apache

    Hi!
    Does anyone know if it is possible to connect to two different instances of wls
    5.1 sp 6 (same IP, different ports) from an apache front-end under the same <VirtualHost>-instance,
    using mod_wl_ssl.so?

    Thanks for your reply.
    It's not the CuCo being initial but my attribute and the collection wrapper of the value node has only one entry, the empty one which is added in the INIT-method of the context node. So it feels like a second instance of my CuCo as inside the other view I have my collection, attribute etc.
    This is my coding to get the CuCo:
    DATA: lr_cucosearch       TYPE REF TO   zl_iccmp_bp_cucosearch_impl.
    lr_cucosearch ?= get_custom_controller( 'ICCMP_BP_SEARCH/CuCoSearch' ).
    This coding I use in both views. This is wrong? I debugged and it looked like it would search for an instance and then return it instead of creating a second one.
    Am I mistaken?
    Thanks.

  • Installing two different webgates

    Hi,
    I have to install two different webgates for two applications. What would be the way to do that? Should I install the webgates in two different instances as I am unable to figure out a how to put these two different generated ObAccessClient.xml and cwallet.sso files in the same OHS/ohs1/webgate/config folder.
    Please suggest any ideas on this!!
    Thank you.
    Manoj

    Yes, you can install 2 webgates on separate OHS instances. Assuming you already have one OHS running on port 7777, you can create an additional OHS instance on the same server using opmnctl createcomponent. Syntax will be something like
    opmnctl createcomponent -componentType OHS -componentName ohs2 (assuming ohs1 already exists)
    You will see an additional instance folder under instances/instance1/config/OHS folder
    Then you can go ahead a create 2 web agents in OAM and copy each of the artifacts into the respective webgate/config folder
    Let me know if you have any further questions on this

  • Using Same Bank Account for two different company code

    Can we use the same bank account number and ABA key for two different company codes? Both the company codes are in USA and with the same currency.
    Scenario is to separate one division of the company code to a separate company code. Client wanted to know if we can use the same bank account so that they dont have to open another bank account

    The system will allow the same ABA and bank account on two different company codes.  However, if you use electronic bank statement (EBS) functionality (or plan to use it in the future), you will not be able to import bank statements for the account if it exists on two company codes.  The EBS program uses the house bank/account ID tables to assign a company code to the bank statement.  If the account exists for more than one company code, the program cannot assign a company code and it will give an error.
