To extend period for each alternative in BOM

In BOM, we have couple of alternatives. Each alternative includes valid date (valid from and valid to). We want to change value for valid date (valid from and valid to). Unfortunately, those fields are blocked for changes. Therefore, can anyone tell me how can I change value for those fields. Thank you very much. Reward will be given.

I'm afraid that this is not possible in the standard. See also explanatation for the parameter settings in transaction OICB.
The validity period ( well actually better to say the 'valid-from' ) is linked to activating BOM validity maintenance ( as a prerequisite for activating engineering change management )
As such the periods are handled internally ( hence the appearance on screen 'Administration' ).
THe only standard option I see is to create a copy of the BOM alternative using the new required valid-from date ( and then delete the old alternative ). More work but the end result should be the same,

I have a report in which I have 2 date columns(start date say 'a' and end date say 'b'). In my prompts i have selected a time range. My start date and end date will fall in this time range.

As shown above I need to stamp '0' if the week(horizontal row) doesn't fall in the a-b time range and '1' if it falls.
How can I achieve this .

Very tricky but it can be done.
1- create view which returns all the week start date between the prompts (if you are on oracle play around with a select againts the ALL_OBJECTS).
2 Bring this view as a dimension in your RPD and create a dummy join againts your fact table.
3. In your report use a case when to determine if your period is valid or not.
4. put it in a pivot table.

Issues with Shared Variables in Systems Running for Extended Periods of Time

I am designing a large SCADA system using LabVIEW DSC and cRIOs. My plan is to use shared variables to communicate the majority of the information across my network (much like "tags" in a normal SCADA system).
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced issues (connection failures, etc...) with shared variables running on systems for months (both real-time and windows based PCs) without the cRIO or PC being restarted/redeploying the variables. What is the stability of the Shared Variable Engine over extended periods of time?

I have a system with 2 cRIO's each with Ethercat extension chassis. Each cRIO hosts ~100 NSV's and is running the scan engine at 40 Hz.
Each cRIO is coupled to a HMI that has front panel control bindings to NSV's hosted on the cRIO as well as a windows hosted mirror library (used for citadel db logging) that is also bound to the cRIO NSV library. The cRIO's have monay months of contiguous run time without reboot and I closely monitor cpu and memory usage and also rt performance metrics and will log faults if there are any such events. I also use NSV's for messaging from the HMI to the cRIO for such things as setting zero offset values and deploying configuration parameters. My overall findings are that the SV engine and the PSP are stable and efficient (especially NSV<->NSV and NSV<->HMI binding)

Different BOM for each month

Hi,
The BOM is different for each month. If i make different alternatives for each month and run the LTP will it help to get the raw material requirement as per the BOM for that month. Example BOM for NOV/DEC will be not same but we want to estimate the raw material req for next year.
Kindly advise what i need to do?

1.What is the business contraint in using change number functionality to address this requirement without creating any
additional alternative BOM?
2.Say you create the first alternative BOM using a change number and save all the BOM components.
3.The default valid from date will be the valid from date of the change number and valid to date will be 31.12.9999.
4.Whenever there is a BOM change use a different change number with valid from date say 25.10.2010,so using this in the
same BOM delete the components and add the new component's or make any BOM change and save.
5.For the deleted components the valid from date will be say (you have created using today's date for BOM creation)
05.10.2010 and the valid to date will be 25.10.2010.
6.What is the advantage of creating new alternative BOM?
6.How are you using the LTP results for inventory purpose,say how are you planning the raw material's requirement for the
next year based on this year's BOM?
7.LTP is not only the feasibility of material procurement,but also production that can be produced with available resource.

Capacity Utilization by network activity for each period

Hi all,
How do i find out the capacity utilization at the network activity level. My requirement is to findout the remaining requirement/capacity of a workcenter for each period, which will be the cumulative value of the non utilized resources/hours for the previous months, based on distribution key.
The same functionality is there in CM07, but what is the exact functionality and how it can be reimplemented in a report?

Closing Stock For Each Period in Inventory Infocube

Hello Guru's,
Can we have closing stock of each material for entire period in Invnetory Infocube ? or through any logic or transformation routine can we create this keyfigure at infocube level ?
I know that to get Closing Stock ( Opening Stock + Goods Receipt - Goods Issue), we have to have Opening Stock as well for each month. in 0IC_C03 infocube, we only have Goods Receipt Qty and Goods Issue Qty keyfigures. We don't have Opening Stock and Closing Stock keyfigures as those are calculation which works during run time of query but still we want to have this information at Infocube Level.
Do please let me know your thought as i appreciate your help in advance.

MDX to dynamically create period to date for each month of current year

I need some help with MDX. I am not even sure if this is possible to do but here is what I need. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have a Date dimension with a hierarchy defined as Year-Qtr-Month-Date
I have a measure called Rentals
Assume the current date is 10/24/2014. I want to display by month for the year 2014, the sum of rentals equivalent to the current MTD. So January would sum 1/1 thru 1/24. February would sum 2/1 thru 2/24. March would sum 3/1 thru
3/24, etc.
On the end of the current month, all months would display the sum of the whole month. I am not concerned if a month ends on the 30th or 31st. The end is end.
It needs to be dynamic enough so that if the current date is the 27th, each month would sum from the 1st to the 27th.

In MDX, we can use
PARALLELPERIOD function returns a member from a prior period in the same relative position as a specified member. So you can use the query like

How to apply Date condition for each month in 12 month period to my SQL query

I am trying to retrieve all Outstanding Problem tickets in my Trendline SSRS report.
I need to pull the OpenDate <= Last day of last month And CloseDate >= 1st day of current month
for each month in the Last 12 months. How do I accomplish this in my query?
I must also need to pull the oustanding tickets for the next 11 months in the same query
where it will automatically pull the outstanding tickets for when a new month comes
in out of the 12 month period?
Here's a sample of my query to pull July 2013 Outstanding Problem tickets:

I am sorry Tyrone41 there is no way to extend the trial period. If you wish to continue evaluating the software then please install the trial on another computer.

Using MBP in closed mode for extended periods

I use my MBP mostly in closed lid mode as a desktop computer and only use it as a notebook when I'm on the move. I was wondering, is this a bad setup considering that when the lid is closed it's covering up vents and holding heat in?

I just installed Leopard on to my Macbook Pro (which is attached to a 19" Samsung monitor) and cannot get Spaces to work.
I was told it is possible to have Spaces work in closed mode though. I just have some concerns about keeping the MBP closed for extended periods of time, particularly when running programs that place a heavy demand on the processors (i.e. Second Life, Photoshop etc).
Is it not possible for the computer to overheat or for the screen to somehow get damaged with the top closed ?
I really want to use Spaces but it does not appear to work with dual screen set ups.

I'm working on BR100 for BOM. I noticed that in BR100 BOM template there is not a section for the documentation of BOMs for each item. I wonder if the standard is not documenting any of that information in this document?

BR100 explain all setups steps for modules.
BOM for each item is not 'setup' but 'Data Management'.

Extending recording time/length for each track?

Hello Any and Everyone!
I would like to know if someone can help me out with what I am to do about extending the recording time for each track? I have found nothing as of yet that explains to me how to do it in the manual or in the application itself. It is standard 15 minutes and that's it. It may be and probably is a simple thing but can someone help me? Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, you should check the preferences.
Click 'Audio' or 'Recording'. There you should find a field where you can setup the desired recording time for all your projects....
As far as I know, you cannot setup independent rec. time for each chammel/track.

Installed LabVIEW 2012 for which we have a license. Apparently it installed Application Builder without my knowledge or consent. Now, -everytime- I try to launch LabVIEW I get an annoying dialog, "The evaluation period for some of your software can be extended. Would you like to extend the evaluation periods now?" Only if you will let me get my work done and quit bothering me with advertisements...
How do I get rid of this "evaluation" software that I did not install and do not want?

add/remove programs or hit that little check box on the Eval advertisment window that says do not show me the ad aagain.

I'm trying to get last recorded balance for each day for specific box (1 or 2) in specified period of days from ms access database using ADOTool.

So far I've managed to write a query that gives me balance for ONLY ONE date (date with highest time in whole table), but I need balance for EVERY date in specific period.
My incorrect code (didn't manage to implement "BETWEEN" for dates...):

Problem in getting Norms for each BOM

Hi Experts,
I am doing a report for stock with subcontractors and I am facing a problem in getting the accurate
Norms (STPO~MENGE) against the BOM (STPO~STLNR) for each EBELN.
My requirement is :
1. Finished Goods - ( MSEG~MATNR) or (EKPO~MATNR) but mseg-matnr is more prefered as my output is based on the mkpf-budat , WHERE BWART IN ('101','102') then
MSEG~EBELN.
IF EKPO-PSTYP ne ' 3 '   delete Finished goods.
Then I take raw materials for finished goods and BOM for each rawmaterials.
2. Raw materials - select (RESBMATNR, RESBSTLNR, RESBSTLKN, RESBSTPOZ) where resb-baugr = mseg-matnr and ebeln = mseg-ebeln.
Now I am facing problem in getting NORMS against each BOM.
3. Norms - * select STPOMENGE where STLNR = RESBSTLNR , IDNRK = RESB~MATNR,
                    STPOZ = RESB~STPOZ.
But I am not getting the correct Norms for each EBELN, please advice if my logic is wrong or if my
tables are wrong.
