  • Upload request for Quotation  from external data (ME47)

    Hi is there a easy way to upload request for change in SAP from external data.
    Maybe a functionmodule or BAPI.
    Like for transaction ME41 ME42 ME47 etc.

    For things to happen automatically, you'll need to use JavaScript. To import a record, you use the importTextData document method: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.502.html
    Note that it can't work with Reader and it must be placed in a trusted function in a folder-level JavaScript file.
    To print programmatically, use the print method: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.511.html
    So the script could loop through the records, printing after each one populates the fields.

  • Error inPortal Header after changing com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par

    Hi All,
    Iam getting this error while trying to change "com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par" within portal. I have updated the HeaderiView.jsp and then saved the PAR file and uploaded the file. It was successful upload from Administration console. But after I logged into portal again, I got this error and even though I tried to revert back the changes, it still gives the same error. Has any one faced similar issue? We faced this during the IE8 (Internet explorer 8) upgrade to SP 27 in sap portal.
    Thanks.

    Thanks Raghu.
    I have tried that option as well. But, when I uploaded the PAR file from DEV to Sandbox environment, the header did not work, but I identified that the "portalapp.xml" file is only partially deployed (even though the PAR that is used for Upload (using Admin Console) contained all parameters. I could not understand why the portalapp.xml is only partially deployed.
    After deployment the portalapp.xml has only 3 properties within it : ClassLoadingPolicy, value 5.0, DeploymentPolicy, value 5.0 and AuthenticationPolicy, value 5.0,
    and all other attributes that are part of the uploaded par file are not present after deployment within "PAR directory within portalapps directory".

  • Uploading data from non sap system to sap system

    hi to all experts,
    my requirement is to upload data into the sap system from non sap system . the data is in  a flat file ,but the problem is that  in the flat file all the field lengths and fields are not in order or same as sap system. How to upload the data into sap system ....

    hi,
    the data is in a flat file,but the problem is that in the flat file all the field lengths and fields are not in order or same as sap system.
    If the data is in excel sheet use this FM.
    CALL FUNCTION 'ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE'
        EXPORTING
          FILENAME                      = P_FILE
          I_BEGIN_COL                   = 1
          I_BEGIN_ROW                   = 1
          I_END_COL                     = 17
          I_END_ROW                     = 3000
        TABLES
          INTERN                        = itab
    EXCEPTIONS
      INCONSISTENT_PARAMETERS       = 1
      UPLOAD_OLE                    = 2
      OTHERS                        = 3
    It will read the data from excel sheet column wise and then store it in ITAB. you can change the order after reading the file.
    In case of Text file use FM  GUI_UPLOAD.
    You can change the order of the fileds after reading it from file, but the length and all you have to make compatible to SAP standard fields.

    Sachin

  • How to batch upload some data into SAP system?

    Hi All:
    I'm a SAP key user in our company, I want to know how to batch upload master data into SAP system? What t-code we can use for batch input?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    I think at least there are four methods for batch input which you can use in SAP system:
    Standard mass change t-code: for example, MM17 for mass change of material master data, you can find the mass change t-code under the relevant function module;
    T-code SCAT, you can use to record and generate the simple batch input template, it's easy to use for key user;
    T-code LSMW, it's another transaction to generate batch input template, it's often used at the beginning of SAP rollout;
    ABAP program, of course, ABAP is a universal tool for everything, you can use ABAP to generate a batch input program to upload data into SAP system as well.
    So you had better contact your SAP support department, help you to upload data!
    Good luck

  • How to upload Organisation structure into SAP HR. Version 3.1I.

    Hi Experts,
    We have to upload Organisation structure into SAP HR.We are using Version 3.1I.
    Can any body please tell me how to do that.
    Itr'sa important as in version 3.1 i we cannot use LSMW or eCATT.
    Thanks and regards
    Rajeev Chhabra

    Hi Rajeev,
    SAP Best Practices provides load tools that should be valid for 3.1 since the data structure hasn't changed much.  You can also use delivered program RHALTD00.  I'm not sure if plain old CATTs were around in 3.1, but those would work as well.
    Good luck,

  • Send changes from SAP

    Hi,
    I am working on a SOAP to RFC synchronous senario where the 3rd party system sends a request and gets a response back from SAP using RFC(receiver) and SOAP(sender) and the data is displayed on the 3rd party system.This approach is done only once, but if there are any changes in SAP after this how can we send only the chaged records to the 3rd part system.If we send the request every time in intervals all the data will be pulled from SAP, which will be a performance impact.Is there any way we can capture only the changed records?
    Thanks

  • Reg: If changes done in SAP BO Analysis office, then Changes can be done in SAP BW in respective targets. But, is it possible to do the same changes in SAP ECC? How?

    Hello Everyone,
    If any changes are done in SAP BO Analysis office, then the change can be done in the SAP BW in the respective Targets.
    But how can we do the changes in the SAP ECC ? Is it possible to do the changes in the tables ?
    Any answer is appreciable
    Regards,
    Karteek

    We are using the "Input ready Bex query", in order to modify the values in "BO Analysis office".
    ECC               BI               BO Analysis office
    1  ------------->   1   ---------->         1   ------
                                                                            |
                                                                            | (Now Data is changed in Analysis office from 1 to 2)
                                                                            |
    (?) <--------------   2 <----------         2 <-----
    (Will it be updated in ECC)
    (Diagram Explanation)
    From ECC we can load the data (Consider Value-1) to SAP BI and from SAP BI we can load the data to BO analysis office.
    So, now if we change the data in BO Analysis office (Value-1 changed to Value-2)..
    Now the data is changed in SAP BI to Value-2.
    So what about the data in ECC ? Whether it is changed or not?
    Please provide us a real time business Scenario..
    Thanks,
    Karteek

    Which type of scheduling setting have you configured for WBS scheduling and for n/w. ?
    Also, download calendar from SAP to MSP and then add column 'Task Calendar' in which select the downloaded calendar.

    Hi,
    Scheduled jobs are the jobs for which we have scheduled for a time, may be daily so that each day the scheduled jobs will trigger at the time given.So that every time u need not to trigger the job manully urself as the schedule time will hit the job will trigger itself.
    Released job means the job which is in between Sheduled state and active state.say For eg: 10 jobs are Scheduled in a queue Job no 1 is released from the queue that means any moment it will be in active state.So it is the state between Schedule and Active state of a job.
    Thanks
