Tomcat exception in main when starting
When I start tomcat 4.1 it throws an exception:

What's going on? I'm getting really frustrated.

You must check tomcat version and java version.
the Tomcat4.1.24 exists two version. it is normal version and LE version.
if you installed LE version. it must be used "jdk1.4.x".
and jdk1.4.x has org.xml.sax package but less then version not have.

My Computer --> Properties --> Advanced --> Environment Variables -->System Variables --> New
The other tip is to omit version information from your Tomcat Install directory's name: e.g. C:\AppServers\TOMCAT.
If you do this you can just unzip new releases into this dir and everything should still work.

based on the Jato framework. I'm getting the exception below when it
trys to grab my war file and expand it. The end result gives me a
Voyager/ directory but the directory is totally empty. If I un-tar the
war file in my webapps directory, everything works fine. Does anyone
have any ideas as to why I'm getting this Exception? The .war file has
read, write and execute permissions...

How to make main menu start at loop point when you link back to it?
I have a main menu with a an intro, after the intro I have put a loop point.
But when I link back to the main menu, it plays the whole intro.
How do I let the main menu start at the loop point when I target a button back to it?Jake:

I used to copy&paste some lines from the manuals when a post can be answered directly that way (why to write it again if it's well written there?).
This is my "last upgrade": I uploaded some captured images from the manual to use easier in this kind of frequent questions. I like to show that the information was right there in the manual . . . but I really find the expression RTFM a little hard !

Thanks for helps...It seems like the JVM is pointing to incorrect .dll file.
Goto Apache bin directory, and from there open Apache[version]W.exe
Click the "Java" tab and ensure the first textbox "Java Virtual Machine" is pointed to the correct jvm.dll
If it was pointed to the JDK then it is wrong. Repoint it to the jre jvm located at \jre6\bin\client\jvm.dll
Let me know if it resolves the issue. -
Exception when starting WebToGo-Application

when I start a WebToGo-Application on the Mobile Client, I get this Exception:
javax.servlet.ServletException: kta.replikation._Replikation.class not found
"Replikation" is the JSP which should be displayed when starting the application. The file exists in the our Mobile Server's repository. Can anyone tell me, why the application can't find this file?

I believe this is a side effect of two cluster members having different versions of the same class due concurrent development and testing. The best way to separate the clusters is to set each to use a different multicast address for the cluster communication. this can be done easily by using the following command line argument:
<tt>-Dtangosol.coherence.clusteraddress=224.1.1.x</tt>
Where 'x' is a value between 1 and 254.
I would also suggest setting the time-to-live of the multicast messages to zero so that the communication does not go beyond the development machine. This can be done with a similar command line argument:
<tt>-Dtangosol.coherence.ttl=0</tt>

Exception "JMSSecurityException: Not permit" when starting Comms Channel...
Hi,
We have XI 3.0 that has been running without issues in the comms channels for a long time.
All of a sudden on one of our systems we are getting an error when starting the comms channel. The stacktrace is shown below:
Channel error occurred; detailed error description: com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.api.connector.ConnectorException: Error creating message consumer: javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: Not permitted

We have tried resrting the J2EE engine, the whole XI instance, etc. and still this one channel continues to fail.
I have tried creating new channels and they fail too.
Has anyone seen this error before? Any idea how to resolve this?

It is showing security exception, so it is related to the credentials (may if you use the passwords or certificates those are expired) so check those credentials validity.

Thank you.You should post the seucirty newsgroup to be sure, but I think this happens
when you have two WLS instances running pointing to the same ldap
configuration portion of a domain.
