Too much surrounding space in mx:Text

Hi,
I have the following code

<mx:Text styleName="Text3" width="100%" height="249"

<mx:htmlText>
<![CDATA[
<UL>
<LI>embarrassed you in front of
guests</LI><LI>dragged you for a
walk</LI><LI>generally been unruly</LI>
</UL>
]]>
</mx:htmlText>
</mx:Text>
</mx:VBox>
<mx:VBox>
<mx:Canvas styleName="Canvas2" width="100%"
height="100%">
<mx:Image source="Assets/Dog-Amended.png" height="387"
width="243"/>
</mx:Canvas>
</mx:VBox>

However, the text displayed has far too big a border around
it. I have tried shrinking the Text container, but that only serves
to cut off some of the text entirely.
How can I have this text sit flush with the top of the
container or as near as damn it?
Any help greatly appreciated

I'm not quite sure if I understand the problem, but I assume
that you have a few extra LineFeeds in your text. If that's the
case then just compact your text inside the <CDATA> tag like
so:
<mx:htmlText>
<![CDATA[<UL><LI>embarrassed you in front of
guests</LI><LI>dragged you for a
walk</LI><LI>generally been
unruly</LI></UL>]]>
</mx:htmlText>
Not as easy to read for your code, but it does the
job.
