Top space consuming Tables (which considers LOBs and Partitions )

11.2.0.3/Solaris
When u run a query like below which lists the top space consuming segments , It will only list segments for LOBs and Partitions of a table separately..
select segment_name, bytes/1024/1024/1024 gb, segment_type from dba_segments where owner = 'MCS_WM_USR'  order by gb desc;
SEGMENT_NAME                                                                             GB SEGMENT_TYPE
WMERROR                                                                          14.4287109 TABLE
SYS_LOB0000737548C00014$$                                                        9.93554687 LOBSEGMENT
WMSERVICE                                                                        6.00488281 TABLE
WMSESSION                                                                        5.11621093 TABLE
SYS_LOB0000737571C00017$$                                                        4.61914062 LOBSEGMENT
WMCUSTOMPROCESSDATA                                                               2.8046875 TABLE
SYS_C00511081                                                                    1.25097656 INDEX
IDX_SVC_COM1                                                                     0.95501708 INDEX
IDX_SESS_AUDTM                                                                   0.92291259 INDEX
.Does anyone have a query which will list the actual table sizes which is calculated after summing up all LOBs and Partitions in that table ?
For example;
If table EMP has 3 LOB columns, in user_segments , it will appear something like
SEGMENT_NAME                                                                          GB     SEGMENT_TYPE
EMP                                                                               3           TABLE
SYS_LOB0000737548C00014$$                                                         7           LOBSEGMENT
SYS_LOB0000451978C00014$$                                                         2           LOBSEGMENT
SYS_LOB0000875128C00014$$                                                         5           LOBSEGMENTThe total size of EMP table is 3 + 7 + 2 + 5 = 17 GB
I am looking for query which will do a lookup in DBA_LOBS and DBA_PARTITIONS and add up space for each table.
So, my required output will looks like
TABLE_NAME          Size
EMP               17g
DEPT                1g
WMERRORS          104g
.

Hi Garry,
the segment_name in DBA_SEGMENTS can be used to group all table partitions of a partitioned table. So we only have to join DBA_LOBS to DBA_SEGMENTS and group the result rows:
with
basedata as (
select owner
     , segment_name
     , segment_type
     , round(sum(bytes)/1024/1024/1024) gb
     , sum(bytes) bytes
     , count(*) segment_count
  from dba_segments s
group by owner, segment_name, segment_type
lobs as (
select owner
     , table_name
     , segment_name
  from dba_lobs
all_segs as (
select coalesce(lobs.table_name, basedata.segment_name) table_name
     , basedata.*
  from basedata
  left outer join
       lobs
    on (basedata.segment_name = lobs.segment_name
        and basedata.owner = lobs.owner)
select table_name
     , sum(bytes) bytes
     , sum(gb) gb
  from all_segs
group by table_name
having sum(gb) > .1;Regards

  • Issue with dynamic table which has RichCommandLink and RichSparkChart

I’m running into an issue when I create a dynamic table with columns of type RichCommandLink and RichSparkChart.
If my table has both of these types of columns, then the RichCommandLink column behaves like a NOP, meaning clicking on it does not cause the link to take effect and does not navigate to the designated page.
If I remove the RichSparkChart column, then the RichCommandLink column behaves properly.
Is there something I’m supposed to be aware of when creating these types of columns? Is there a known problem with RichSparkChart column, like some exception thrown which halts proper rendering of the rest of the columns?
    Thanks,
    Ania.

Turned out that the problem was with ids which I was dynamically assigning. There was an overlap meaning two columns/elements got the same id. Not the manifestation or behavior I would expect as a result, but once I fixed that, having these two columns side by side works well.

  • Looking for a table which contains Datasource and the name of DSO

    Hello,
I need to extract a list with the datasource + Name System + DSO. If anyone know a BW table.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Santos.

    Hi Santos,
Please check the table "RSTRAN" -- directory of transformations in your system.
If you have between data loading between DS and DSO, then you should have active data transformations.
In this table, select type of source as data source and type target as DSO and execute.
You will get list of DS and DSO which has active transformations.
If you want details about each DS and DSO then you can check the below tables
RSDODSO --- Directory of all ODS Objects
RSOLTPSOURCE     --- Replication Table for DataSources in BW

    thanks

    Hi rajesh,
It seems that you didn't click query data using storage emulator. But I recommend you could use the azure server explore in your VS to view your data and query data. Please see this document (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/ff683677.aspx).
And base on my experience, you may need input the command on Azure storage emulator, such as this page(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/gg433005.aspx).

    Dear customer,
I have found some previous issues with the similar symptom as your
system. I think this symptom is described in note 983230.
As you can see this symptom is mainly caused by ORACLE bug 5212539 and
it should be fixed at 9.2.0.8 which is just your version. But although
5212539 is implemented, only the occurrence of new corruptions will be
avoided, the already existing ones will stay in the system regardless of the patch.
The reason why metalink 452341.1 was created is bug 5212539, since this
is the most common software caused lob corruption in recent times.
Basically any system that was running without a patch for bug 5212539 at some time in the past could be potentially affected by the problem.
In order to be sure about bug 5212539 can you please verify whether the
affected lob really is a NOCACHE lob? You can do this as described in
mentioned note #983230. If yes, then there are basically only two
    options left:
-> You apply a backup to the system that does not contain these
    corruptions.
-> In case a good backup is not available, it would be possible to
rebuild the table including the lob segment with possible data loss . Since this is beyond the scope of support, this would have to be
    done via remote consulting.
Any further question, please contact us freely.
    Thanks and regards.
    Hello,
Thanks for the Help and support,
i have gone through  the note 983230 and metalink 452341.1.
and i have ran the script and found that there are 2 rows corrupted in
the table REPOSRC. these rows belong to Standard SAP programs
    MABADRFENTRIES & SAPFGARC.
and to reconfirm i have tried to display them in our development system
and production system. the development systems shows the src code in
Se38 but in production system it goes to short dump DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR.
so is it possible to delete these 2 rows and update ourselves from our
development system at oracle level. will it have any impact on SAP
    operation or upgrade in future.
    Regards
    Ramakrishna Reddy

Hello, we have solved the problem.
To help someone with the same error, what we have done is:
1.- wait until all the processes has finished and the export is stopped.
    2.- startup SAP
3.- SE14 and look up the tables. Crete the tables in the database.
    4.- stop SAP
5.- Retry the export (if you did all the steps with sapinst running but the dialogue window in the screen) or begin the sapinst again with the option: "continue with the old options".
    Regards to all.

  • How to show employee names in descending order but 3rd row is fixed and always top on the table ?

how to show employee names in descending order but 3rd row is fixed and always top on the table ?
for example employee names is A,B,C, D, E
    and output is     C,E,D,B,A

Since you are posting in the design forum, the short answer is - you don't.  Rows in a table have no inherent order that you can rely on and the "position" of rows is a visual characteristic that should be implemented by the application that displays
this information or by the query that is used to generate the resultset.
So the next question is how one accomplishes this particular order within a select statement.  That is a tsql question which, for future reference, is best posted to the tsql forum.  In addition, many of the questions or issues that you will face
have been discussed in the forums - often many, many times.  The first thing you should do when faced with an issue is to simply search the forums and leverage the the knowledge that has already been discussed.  In doing so you are quite likely to
see suggestions or related issues that you should consider in your search for a solution.
Now, to answer the question - you need to formulate a order by clause that forces the rows to be sorted in the manner you desire.  Effectively you have 2 levels of sorting.  The first level divides your rows into 2 groups.  Group 1 consists
of rows where name = E and Group 2 is everything else.  Following that you then need to sort the rows in each group by name in descending order.  Something like:
order by case name when E then 1 else 2 end, name desc

  • From which table check 'cost element' and its corresponding GL account?

    Hi,
May i know from which could i check the cost element field and its corresponding GL account field??
    Questions:
"the getting cost element should check the corresponding GL account, but I canu2019t find the
corresponding table which include these two fields. So, if you know the table in which cost element can check the corresponding GL account, please tell me ."
    Is below way correct:
From table CSKA, i could get the chart of accounts related with the cost elements.
Then from table SKA1, i could get the GL account according to chart of accounts field.
Then i got an relation between Cost element with GL account??
    Thanks!!

    Hi
Could not locate the table, but could find that, if you come to transaction KA02, click on Environment - Display General Ledger account - In Chart of Account/ In Company Code option, then you can display the GL account for individual cost elements.

I am puzzled by this. The laptop doesn't need the Apple ID - but iTunes does. I could be missing something but ....
Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID?
