Total on First Line in ALV...........

Hi Experts,
I was written a ALV report and it works fine but the user want the total should be appear on first line.
How to bring All Totals on First Line in ALV default...?

Use do_sum in the field catlog .
For displaying the summ u want for the field, Use do_sum.

Hi
one thing you can do is capture the totals into variables and display then in each top-of-page except first page.
it will work as SORT and all dont have effect on top-of-page data. If you append that to internal table once we hit SORT data will chnage and it will give errorneous effects.

Display totals on the first line in ALV grid and ALV LIST

Generally we wll display totals at the end..
bu the requirement is to display it in the first line of the column.
how to display the totals in the first line?
I have used ALV GRID and ALV LIST (choice) using function modules.

.for example : Po qty : Should display total po qty on the first line of the Po line item.

Problem in displaying Total No.of Lines in ALV report header.

Hi guys,
my field symbol internal table is having records in which "Compliance" field is having YES or NO values. now requirement is to display
Total No. of Compliances which are having YES.
lets say, internal table is having 10 lines. in which compliance field is having 6 YES and 4 No respective values .
now i want to display header as No. of Compliances : 6
following is my code to display Total no.of lines in internal tables.
* total no. of records selected
   DESCRIBE TABLE <table> LINES ld_lines.
   ld_linesc = ld_lines.
   CONCATENATE text-004 ld_linesc
                     INTO t_line SEPARATED BY space.

My data is there in Field-Symbol table.
Now i want to display No.of compliances . could anybody please help me out in this.

You can use another option like below,
<Table>[] = <Table1>[]
delete table1 where compliance = 'NO'.
DESCRIBE TABLE <Table1> LINES ld_lines. .. follow your logic as above.

Check condition on sub total line of ALV list

Hi All ,
Is it possible to check condition on the value of subtotal line in ALV list ,
I,e If the value of subtotal line is say greator than 100 I need to change the color of that line or change the text on the subtotal line .
I know how to change the subtotal text but i want to change with respect to value of the subtotal ,
Any input if this can be achieved will be great .

Hi,
I donu2019t think there is any direct way to check the subtotal value in LIST display, try the following logic.
1. Use the event BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT to check the subtotal value and accordingly change the text or colour of the line.
2. To use events in ALV, first get the events into a table through the FM REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET as shown
     CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET'
      EXPORTING
      i_list_type = 0
     IMPORTING
      et_events   = z_i_events.
SORT z_i_events BY name.
CLEAR z_wa_events.
READ TABLE z_i_events WITH KEY name = slis_ev_before_line_output
                        INTO z_wa_events BINARY SEARCH.
IF sy-subrc = 0.
    MOVE 'BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUTu2019 TO z_wa_events-form.
    MODIFY z_i_events FROM z_wa_events INDEX sy-tabix.

3. Create a form with the name BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT and do the coding to check the subtotals there.
Form BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT USING RS_LINEINFO TYPE SLIS_LINEINFO.
*The structure RS_LINEINFO will have u2018Xu2019 in the field rs_lineinfo-subtot for subtotals.
If RS_LINEINFO-SUBTOT = u2018Xu2019.
*Here try to find the totals by looping at your final internal table till rs_lineinfo-tabindex.
*Then based on this u can give the colour to the line.
*I think there is no other way to check the subtotal value.

ALV Grid Control - Modifiy data in total and subtotal lines

Hello all,
I´am creating a report using ALV Grid Control. This report calculates (using delivered and returned materials) for each vendor/material-combination the return quote.
Using the totals and subtotals function for different characteristics I want to calculate the return quote for the selected characteristic. Example:
Material delivered returned quote
..4711 . . . 500 . . . 5 . . . . 1 (=returned*100/delivered)
..4711 . . . 400 . . . 10 . . . . 2,5
. SUM . . . 900 . . . 15 . . . . 3,5 <-- 3,5 is the sum but I want display the calculated value 1,667
Is there a possibility to modify data in the total and subtotal lines.

Try the ALV event AFTER-LINE-OUTPUT may be it can help u to achieve ur requirement.
Append AFTER-LINE-OUTPUT event to the internal table T_EVENT.

and if once collect is used to suppress the data
with the same itab can we print normal itab and how...

I can't imagine what you want.
In ALV grid object, you can change the title text for each column displayed. This is done via field catalog or, in SALV, column object methods.
In ALV fullscreen, you can define a TOP-OF-PAGE area where you may have what ever you want independent from the grid table content. I think you can not use this because you have the grid in a container.
You may define it as a docking or splitter container and place the grid in lower and the title in upper area. But this will need some experience with container controls and a certain level of coding abilities.

I want to display an ALV report in which there should be totals and subtotals buttons are to be displayed without displaying the totals and subtotals line when the list is displayed. It should be displayed only when the user clicks the button. If i take do_sum in the fieldcat table it'll display the subtotal button and also the totlas line and that shouldn't happen. If i take no_totalline in the layout it'll not display the totals line even the user selects the totals button. So is there any possibility like this. Please help me.

use this to change, hide, or alter the ALV columns

How to insert horizontal lines in alv report?

hi,
    i have to insert horizontal lines in alv report.( RM07MLBB )
        actually my requirement is:
                           basis list = RM07MLBB.
first secondary list = another report is called here ( RM07DOCS )
                  i want to insert horizontal lines in the first secondary list, when i execute individually RM07DOCS , i can get horizontal lines, but when i dounle click in the basic list --> in the first secondary list , i am not getting the horizontal lnes.
functional modules used are REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY & REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
    here in this program,
                    is_layout = alv_layout.
hence i tried to give
              alv_layout-no_hline = ' '.
but not effecting.
          can some one please tell me , how to insert lines in the alv report.

hello,
     so i cannot insert horizontal lines in the first secondary list according to my sorting condition, i.e., in a single block there should be :
       if same delivery challan number is repeating they should come in the same block,
for the corresponding delivery challen number, if have po number, is repeating , they also should come in the same block.
                   in this way i have to seperate the blocks containing EXNUM , EBELN CONDITIONED.

Displaying data in Two line in ALV report

I want to know how to display the data in alv in two lines for Fild name as well as for fild value
like in below case
wa_fieldcata-fieldname = 'WRBTR'.
   wa_fieldcata-seltext_l = 'AMOUNT IN DOCUMENT CURRENCY'.
   wa_fieldcata-outputlen = 18.
   wa_fieldcata-DO_SUM     = 'X'.
   APPEND wa_fieldcata TO it_fieldcat.
   CLEAR wa_fieldcata.
by this on alv COLUMN headig is coming as 'AMOUNT IN DOCUMENT CURRENCY' in one linw i want to display 'AMOUNT IN '   in first line and then 'DOCUMENT CURRENCY' below that

similarly how to display value of three fidls in one column
like for a vendor   I have one column Vandor name in that column i want to display from table LFA1,

Summary field printing on the first line when it supposed to prin last page

i have created manual report. in the end of the report i have summay columns. wheni run in oracle reports it perfectly shows the grand totle. when i generate to file (PDF) thegrand total print on the first line. can some one tell me wht is it printig on the first line when it supposed to print on the last page. i tried print object on Last Page. it is still same.

You may have hit this side effect of page protect (all copied from the Help):
Description The Page Protect property indicates whether to try to keep the entire object and its contents on the same logical page. Setting Page Protect to Yes means that if the contents of the object cannot fit on the current logical page, the object and all of its contents will be moved to the next logical page.
Note: Using Page Protect may cause objects below the page protected object(s) to appear above the page protected object(s).
Solution:
If Page Protect causes an object to be moved to the next logical page when formatting, an object alongside the page protected object may or may not be moved as well. If the object alongside the page protected object is not anchored (implicitly or explicitly) to the page protected object, and that object can fit in the space where the page protected object could not fit, the object will print on that logical page. Otherwise, the object will be moved along with the page protected object to the next logical page.
(To say it simply: anchor the summary field explicitly).
