Almost certainly not, but what do you mean by "trace"?

    Hi Krishna
    The ST12 traces are stored in Database unlike ST05 SQL trace.
    For detailed information on the same, please refer SAP note number 755977, which states same with complete information.
    Hope this helps.
    If yes, please reward points.

  • Page orientation when combining multiple postscript files to a pdf file

    Hi
    I'm having problems with the orientation of my pages when I generate pdf's from multiple postscript files.
    I have 3 postscript files that need to be merged into 1 pdf, and they contain a mixture of portrait and landscape pages.
    To create the pdf, I use the following code (because i have lots and lots of pdf files to produce)...
    /prun { /mysave save def
         dup = flush
         RunFile
         clear cleardictstack
         mysave restore
    } def
    (D:/example/fileA.ps) prun
    (D:/example/fileB.ps) prun
    (D:/example/fileC.ps) prun
    ... however, when I run the above code (by saving the text file into the /in directory of a watched folder), whilst I get a pdf, the page orientation isn't right.  For some reason, the first few pages are oriented correctly, then after about page 7 everything is portrait no matter what.
    The funny thing is, when I simply double-click on one of the postscript files (eg. fileA.ps), distiller changes it to pdf and the orientation is perfect for each file separately (fileA, fileB, fileC).  Even when I run the above code for just one ps file it works.  But as soon as I put all 3 sub-files together it doesn't orient properly.
    I've tried activating and de-activating auto-rotate in the PDF settings, as well as the DSC options in the Advanced tab, and whilst these changes do affect the pdf I get when I simply double-click a certain postscript file, it seems to have no effect when I try to combine the 3 files with the code above.  I still end up with the first few pages oriented correctly, then after about page 7 everything is portrait.
    Hope someone can help.
    Danny

    Ok i successfully generated my PDF files.
    Now I'm having difficulties merging them. I use a DDX file named LiveCycleInput.ddx
    What I do (everything in LiveCycle Workbench):
    1) FileReader to open the .ddx file as a document (successfully)
    2) Store the read document in a process variable (successfully)
    3) Assembler.invokeDDX with following arguments:
    Document DDX = process variable (read in 2)
    OutputResult = "AssemblerResult" processVariable which has type AssemblerResult as specified by the documentation
    Errorlog
    Everytime I run the process I get the following stacktrace in my server's logfile:
    ... 119 more
    Caused by: com.adobe.internal.pdfm.CollateralNotFoundException: DDXM_S14017: A <PDF> source document is required, but no documents were found for {PDF source="testFileDoc.doc.pdf" baseDocument="true"}.
    at com.adobe.internal.ddxm.ddx.pdf.PDFSource.getOrderedInputDocs(PDFSource.java:595)
    at com.adobe.internal.ddxm.blueprint.pdf.SourceSegment.addDocumentsForAssembly(SourceSegment .java:91)
    ... 125 more
    The .ddx file is stored in the same path as my generated .pdf files are stored.
    Content of my DDX file (full copy paste)
    <DDX xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/DDX/1.0/">
    <PDF result="testFileMerged.pdf">
      <PDF source="testFileDoc.doc.pdf"/>
      <PDF source="testFileJpg.jpg.pdf"/>
      <PDF source="testFileOdt.odt.pdf"/>
    </PDF>
    </DDX>
    Note that the DDX file is read from a network drive(!!) the source PDF files are in the same folder as the ddx file (hence no further path-links).
    Adding network paths to the source & result pdfs does not change a thing.
    All PDF Files apart from the result pdf fiile are present in that same folder
    I consulted the DDX reference multiple times and this is the simplest ddx that should work ... but it doesnt.
    Can anyone help me?

  • File path

    Hi, everybody!
    Can somebody explain, is there any chance of getting file
    path working with FileReferenceList?
    This is the code:
    var listener
    bject = new Object();
    listener.onSelect = function(fileRefList:FileReferenceList) {
    trace("onSelect");
    var arr:Array = fileRefList.fileList;
    for(var i:Number = 0; i < arr.length; i++) {
    trace("name: " + arr
    .name);
    I copied this code from Flash8 Documentation.
    I can get here only file name.
    Any different solution is also very acceptable.
    Thanks.

    I have the same problem i tried looking at the filereference
    interface file no clues there ill be keeping an eye out for a
    solution the only one i could think of was returning the values
    from php by saving them to a database when the fileis uploaded but
    this just isnt as good because its not fully local

    set newerPath to items (o + 1) thru end of newerPath as text
    on error
    if newerPath = "Desktop:" then set newerPath to ""
    end try
    end repeat
    set ptd to path to desktop as text
    set newerPath to ptd & newerPath
    end if
    set C to newerPath
    if "desktop" is not in newerPath then
    set o to offset of ":" in newerPath
    set newerPath to items (o + 1) thru end of newerPath as text as alias
    tell application "Finder"
    try
    set C to container of (newerPath)
    end try
    end tell
    end if
    return C as text
    end FetchFileContainer
    on convertString(tString, ToFind, Tochange)
    set {oAStid, AppleScript's text item delimiters} to {AppleScript's text item delimiters, ToFind}
    set tString to text items of tString
    set AppleScript's text item delimiters to Tochange
    set tString to tString as string
    set AppleScript's text item delimiters to oAStid

  • Obtaining the full file path specification from Flash Movie and QuickTime icons?

    How do you obtain the full file path specification from Flash
    Movie and QuickTime icons? I want the path and the file name that
    is contained in these icons. I am using a "dive" to run through the
    icons of a file, and when I come upon these two types of icons, I
    want to obtain the above information that is contained in them. I
    certainly can look in the property dialog box to get this info, but
    there are many icons in these files, and I want to generate a list
    of info based upon the various types of icons that I am processing.
    Thanks

    Hi all,

    Last time, I used  IVR version 7.0. I set the path such as: c:\MediaServer\english. Now, I am running IVR version 10 with en_US language.
    Any advise?

  • How to trace the files in macbook without spotsearch?

    Hi,
    By mistake i dragged one folder from favorites and it vanishes and while using spotsearch i m not able to trace the files. Hence please suggest how we can search it?
    OS used is OS X Yosemite.

    See if you can find the file using this program. If you go Finder/View/Show Path Bar, it will show you where it is located.

  • Print list showing graphics used with file paths

    My company is in the process of remapping the graphics on a shared network and I need to go through and make a list of all grphics used in publications along with their filename/path. Hoping there is some plug-in or feature that I can use to create a report that lists this information vs. looking at the options in the links manager and writing things down by hand. Any suggestions? I see the information in a .ps (postscript file) however it's cluttered with everything else. Can I somehow use the ps file and extract only the directory extenstions and filenames/paths.

    FYI I'm working in Pagemaker 6.5 on Windows XP. I can get a report that lists the graphics if I package for Service Provider - unfortunately it doesn't list where the original graphics were located simply the directory it was saved to for teh service provider.

  • Putting CJK text into PostScript file

    Our application, as one of several export options, generates PostScript files.  We recently added support for UNICODE text to the application - all internal text is utf16.  I am having trouble exporting asian (CJK) fonts correctly.  Before the switch to UNICODE we supported ShiftJIS for Japanese.  I know that PS does not directly support UNICODE.  So, my question is, what is the best way to proceed given the facts that I have UNICODE text and I must generate a correct PS file which will display that text?
    To my pea-sized brain, it looks like there are two possible paths...
    1. Convert the utf16 to ShiftJIS (or whatever code page is required) and export as before?  This seems doable, but strikes me as a hack since I would need to look at each code point and figure out which code page it is related to.
    2. Re-encode the font?  But how?  I've looked at documentation for CID-keyed fonts and some sample code for re-encoding, but I admit that I have not yet had an aha! moment. I'm not even sure if I'm looking at the correct stuff.
    Also, do we need to embed the font(s)?  (I realize that CJK fonts can be large, but file size is not a major consideration.)
    Thanks for any help.

    At this point embedding & reencoding appear to be more advantageous from what I understand of your project.
    I have written PostScript drivers that embed Type 1 format fonts by converting the binary printer font (.pfb) file into a 7-bit ascii PostScript file and inserting that in the PostScript output stream. The font just needs to be inserted so that it is available in the context of when it will be used (ie. before font use and same or more significant save/restore level.
    I have also reencoded font characters within a PostScript job in order to access special characters that didn't exist in an EBCDIC character table using octal codes, but I'm not sure if this will suit your solution 2 or not.

  • Postscript file with the RUN command

    I have inherited some code that I'm trying to fix.   The postscript file contains a 'RUN' command.  When I try to open the file, I get the error unable to recognize the command.  Understandable since that command does not reside on my server.  It resides on a UNIX box which controls the printer.  However when I try to print the file to the printer nothing happens.  Neither is the command run and the results printed out nor the contents of .PS file is printed.  Please help.

    I have included an old PostScript program I wrote from the early 1990's that will print a directory of the interpreter's file system, which is a good place to start.
    If there are no files matching the string FG530 then you are out of luck, unless you can find it and download it to the PostScript file system again.
    I added the commented lines about file paths and the included image is of the first page of the generated output:

  • Search c:\ drive and return file path for winword.exe and save as variable

    Hi all, here is what I'm trying to do;
    1. Search C:\ drive for winword.exe
    2. take the file path and save it as a variable.
    3. Then based on the path value, use the switch statement to run "some command"
    Essentially I'm trying to find what the file path for winword.exe is, then run a command to modify the registry.  I already have the script that will modify the registry like I want but the problem it, the path is hard coded in the script, I want to
    now look for all versions of word and set the right file path so I can make the right registry changes.

  • What is a  Logical and Physical file path in sap?

    what is a  Logical and Physical file path in sap?

    Hi,
    Physical file is what you see from the OS level.
    Logical file is what ABAP code can call certain functions to read/write.
    Transaction FILE would link them together. Typically the logical path ends with "<FILENAME>", and the logical file refers to the logical path.
    To extract the physical path from the logical path name
    DATA: lf_mandt TYPE sy-mandt,
            lf_opsys TYPE sy-opsys.
      lf_mandt = sy-mandt.
      lf_opsys = sy-opsys.
    To extract the physical path from the logical path name
