Trace Problem

Hi Experts,
In Qurey Designer when i want to access one of MultiProvider ...it showing the problem...like...
Terminate : System error in Program CL_RSD_MULTIPROV and from FACTOR -02
Terminate : Program error in class SAPMSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION.
when i checked in SE38 for thr program..its saying that the program doesn't exist....
only its happening two of Multiproviders in one Info Provider....... Remaining Multiproviders i am able to access....there is no problem...its opening...
I checked in RSRT also but..there is no use...
Please help me out....

Summary of the note: This note says that if your support package level is 16 the multiproviders with the Aggregation level's are cannot be opened. So, import support package level 17 and install this SP 17.
Then your problem is solved.

No.
Working only with Flash Builder 4 to compile, but you can switch the flash player versions anyway.
And when my flash version is up to 10.1 the trace console commes crazy, and brokes the debbug session.
But never mind, i did kill the OS already in order to keep working.

EM BPMN Flow Trace problem after upgrading to 11.1.1.4

I upgraded SOA Suite from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.4. New BPMN process instances seem to get created without problems. But when I select a process instance in the Flow Trace page of Enterprise Manager, a new page is shown which only contains the three tags "Audit Trail", "Flow" and "Faults" and nothing else. The following error is also generated:

Any idea of what the problem might be?

This all worked fine with the previous version. I'm not thinking it has anything to do with Essbase. I think there might be a problem with the install since using Is Prompted doesn't even work and it did in the older version.
I did try it with the default and that part worked (i.e., it queried based off the default value when initially opening the dashboard), but when I select from the dropdown prompt I get:
dashboard.variables['varPickDiv']
added to the dropdown list. This seems to me like something wrong is going on.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I may just end up doing a new install after backing up all my work and then just add those files back in.

JFET Curve Tracer Problem

Hello All,
I have tried everything to get this circuit to work, but it just won't cooperate. I put it on a breadboard and used myDAQ as a function generator and it worked just fine on an old Tektronics scope. Hi Barry,
It looks like the problem is R1, move it around and you will see the problem.
I replaced the Tektronix scope with the 2-channel, the B/A button is easier to access.

Forms Trace problem

I'm trying to use Forms Trace to assess performance in one of my forms, its slow and I want to find out if its middle tier/client processing or the network or the database.
Unfortunately, I only seem to be able to select a limited number of events to report on. I am tracing the events 32-46,65,66 and the form opens and runs as expected, however, if I try and increase the number of events to include, for example, 64 (Forms start & end) or 69 (Canvas) I get an error stating that communication with the server has been lost.
The information in the Java Console is:

Grid Control: transaction play with trace problem

I'm using OEM Grid Control 10g, an Oracle Application Server 10g, and an Oracle Database 10g, all running on Linux.
I'm trying to use OEM Grid Control for performance tuning.
I've created a Web Application target and a transaction for my web app.
Then I go to Manage Transactions, select my transaction and click "Play". After transaction play, I can click on "Show Results". All works fine.
Instead, "Play with trace" doesn't work. The transaction is played, but when I click on "Show Results" it displays: "Error: Unable to get trace data" and displays only the same informations displayed after a simple "Play" command.
I've searched in log files, in particular $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/log/emoms.log in EMGC10g ORACLE_HOME contains:

Ciscoworks LMS 2.2 layer 2 trace problem

i have a 3745 (seed device) connected to a 2611xm via a 2950 switch but the ani server cannot discover the 2611xm or even properly recognize the 2950 switch. i have configured the required snmp parameters and cdp is enabled on all devices. i can also ping the 2950 and 2611xm from the ciscoworks server.
do i need special configs on the 2950 for the ani server to discover the 2611xm router?

To troubleshoot, go into the respective devices and execute "show cdp neighbors" commands.
If the devices all see each other as neighbors, the problem is in CW's interaction with the devices. If that is the case, make sure each device's credentials are allowing CW to correctly query it.
If not, then fix the cdp interaction on the devices and rediscover and then recheck CW's network view.

Event Trace Problem...

Hi All,
When I park a document using FV50, then I should get FIPP event CREATED being traced in SWEL. But I am not getting anything in SWEL.
This is what I did -
1) Switch on trace in SWELS.
2) Park document using TCODE FV50.
3) Switch off trace in SWELS.
4) Check entry in SWEL.
My requirement is I want to trigger a workflow whenever a document is parked in FI. Is there any other business object which I can use for the same? Please help.

       There are two ways to make your workflow to trigger.
        The first way is to use BTE.The second one is without using BTE.
       I have triggered event for my workflow for the same scenario without using BTE.Following steps will narrate how to do so.
       1.Create workflow variant for parking documents at OBWA transction
       2.Assign the company codes for workflow variants at OBWJ transaction
       3.Define release approval groups and release approval paths for parking the documents at SPRO transaction
       4.Assign release approval paths to workflow variants and document types at OBWD transaction

ST01 Trace Problem

I'm doing authorizations testing in ST01 using a dummy id. I was very specific as to which user I should only be testing so I goto Edit->Filter->Shared and enter my dummy id. Then I goto Edit->File->New File and enter a different trace file number for my testing purposes. After I started my trace, I checked my trace file but it's missing. I restarted tracing again and same thing is happening. My tracefile is missing. So I decided to use whatever tracefiles were available and redid my trace. It seems that my trace was not recorded. The existing trace file still had the same timestamp to it and no new entries were added to it.
I'm using 4.6C. Please help.

Okay here's what I followed as per your instructions :
1) Execute ST01
2) Edit -> Filter -> Shared -> Input user as <SomeUserName>
3) Edit -> File -> New file -> Select something from the searh help (e.g. Trace S )
4) Now perform some activity on the system
5) In ST01 -> Trace OFF
6) No such file called TraceS... generated.
The above does not work, but the following will work :
After point 3) above, do the following :
Check the box of the option you want to be traced under Trace components
e.g. Authorization check
Then click on 'Change Trace'
Now perform some activity on r/3 and then turn the trace off. You will see the new file created and also the activity in the same.

You may click the relevant Anchor Points with the Scissors Tool (scissors), delete the end segments, move one/some of the now open endpoints if desired, connect pairs of them by clicking/dragging with the Direct Selection Tool (white arrow), and adjust the shapes by moving Anchor Points/Handles, still using the Direct Selection Tool.

Unexpected problem with authorization scheme of type plsql function

I have created one authorization scheme of type plsql function returning boolean. Authorization scheme is for pages only. p2_user_priviledge is a textbox on home page which extract privilege (list of pagenos) for login user from database. Home page has no authorization required. AUTHORIZATION SCHEME always returns false. I am not able to trace problem in my code. same code works fine for a textbox's default returning 'c'.

One more problem is again related to authorization scheme.
I created one application and one authorization scheme (auth_aug) which worked finely. Then after some days i added 10 more pages to same application, But now autho_aug was always returning false for new pages. So i copied code from 'autho_aug' to new scheme 'autho_sept', & it worked for new pages. I don't understand if code is same for both scheme, why required to use two different schemes.
Now i have added few more pages to application, and facing problem mentioned earlier.

-->Home page i.e. P2 does not use authorization, So it is displayed along with text item :p2_user_privilege.
-->Then user click on one of the links , Now page :P70: should get displayed.
P70 is using authorization scheme.
-->But :p2_user_priviledge value is not accessible at authorization scheme, I dont know why.
I could not find out where to create Application item , as suggested by you.
& not able to find Developer menu , session at home page as suggested earlier.
And one more question, my application at runtime display

BEx System errors while using RSTT trace

We are having several problems while using BEx SapGui NW 2004s SR1 Presentation - 6.40 Compilation 5 and SAP Netweaver 2004s BI AddOn Patch Level 801 (Bw700SP08P_801-10001615.exe). The system is and ABAP+Java implementation in Stack 7.
For been able to trace problems in BI Planning we activate the RSTT trace for local BPS1 user (the one used in development). When activated, no BEx query cannot be opened, raising error "Overflow when converting from 389", so we cannot trace any issue.
Any help?

Importing images XML Problem

Hey I have an XML file that has images in it. I am wanting to import the images into flash into arrays then I want place them on the stage. I have it importing corretly I think. Has anyone done this before and give me any hints at placing the images? I figure I will have to set a variable to too the function what array to use. Thanks.

To load images using AS2 you can use the loadMovie function. So what you need to do is loop thru your array and target the image name in itas part of the argument of the loadMovie() function call.

Java network problem within 10g

Hello readers,
I have a rather hard to trace problem which is keeping me up several days now.
We want to implement a package for querying devices via SNMP in our database. There are no packages shipped with Oracle that come handy. UTL_TCP does not work because SNMP works via UDP. After all we came up with the idea to use http://www.snmp4j.org/. Locally on my development machine and on the command line of the Oracle database our first prototype of the SNMP query function works very well, but inserted into the database all I'm getting is a "Request timed out". Firewall mechanisms can not be the problem because the java code runs smoothly on the command line and also a snmpwalk on the command line suceeds, so the database is not blocked by any firewall. First I thought some permission via Java are missing, but I took a look in the USER_JAVA_POLICY view and worked this with SYSDBA out. A java application in Oracle connection via TCP to port 80 and fetching a website works allright, the thing not working seems to be UDP. Does anyone of you have any hints on how to debug, trace such a problem?

Yes but, are you sure that the user who is runing the Java class has the same right as this application?
(i'm not sure but i think for this kind of permissions the user has to reconnect itself to the DB)
If i were you i woul try to grant more permisions to this user (not only giving execution rights but cheking with the networks rights)
have you tried to redirect the output when you call your Java class?:
SET SERVEROUTPUT ON
CALL dbms_java.set_output(2000);have you tried to see the network grants of the user?

I edited mm.cfg (AS3Trace = 0) but still get traces for all functions

I am on mac os 10.6.3
I installed flash debugger version 10.1.85.3
I am using Firefox version 3.6.10
when i tail the flashlog.text it traces out way too much information making it impossible for me to use flash tracer to debug my apps.
I tried to delete mm.cfg and when i ran firefox again, it automatically created the mm.cfg in my user directory.
I edited that file by adding AS3Trace = 0 as instructed on this blog:

nothing seems to work. I cannot turn off the as3 tracing.

the latest flash debugger caused a HUGE problem for me! (I’m on mac osx 10.6.3)
I was not able to turn off the logging of all functions by adding AS3Trace = 0 to the mm.cfg file (I added it but it did not work)
I had to revert back by downloading adobe’s flash debugger archive.
the first thing you need to do is uninstall flash player by downloading adobe flash player uninstaller: http://www.wargeek.net/uninstall-flash-player-windows-mac-adobe-flash-player-uninstaller.h tml
next get adobe’s debugger archive here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html

MAKE SURE YOU USE THE DEBUGGER PLAYER IN THE FOLDER: 10r32_18.
I went through several folders working my way back in versions to find a debugger that:
a. didn’t have the excessive trace problem
b. didnt unpack another dmg file which in turn unpacked another dmg.zip….. ad infinitum
unpack: flashplayer10r32_18_ub_mac_debug.dmg.zip
and then run: Install Flash Player 10 UB.dmg
that should fix the problem
