Tracking of Cost change due to BOM change.

Dear All,
My client has the following requirements.
1.He requires to evaluate the each change in Bill of material, with cost perspective.
2.The field to provide the decision on the usage of old material, during ECR approval/BOM changes.
How to go about it?

Hi..
You may require to create one table in which you are going to capture cost of the BOM for each change...and as per the change requirest no you can compare the cost.

Problem:
we must add the cost of goods of the raw material (for which was made a check invoice) of the costs, which are arising and charged by different suppliers (transport, freight, insurance, etc. ..). These are already included in FI with fb60.
The result should be:
- From the consignment of goods entering, add (only in Warehouse (STOCK), NOT IN ACCOUNTING ') cost accessory
- Do not change the quantity
- Having the total cost of stock
- Exploiting the average cost to FIFO must consider the total cost after additional adjustment

FB60: transportation bill on all'purchaise order above cost u20AC / 0.11 kg
0.11 * 1000kg = 110 recorded in cost and accounting of stock.
In accounting, the cost has been reported, in warehouse I need to reverse (add) u20AC / kg to 0.11 initial cost of u20AC / 2.30 kg without adjustments in general accounting, but only in warehouse value and not in the quantity.
So in the end I should have:
batch n° 298 - kg 1000 at a cost of u20AC 2.41 (2.30 +0.11) for the year 2008. How should I do?

I presume that your client has activated 'Revenue Recognition' component in SAP.
If your client has already activated the RR component, they may be aware that the activation is unreversible.
Recognition of costs in a deferred revenue scenario requires some customization effort but definitely do-able. It is not falling within standard SAP.
I worked on scope of one such project but it did not happen unfortunately.

Track Master Data Changes for Multiple countries

Hi experts,
I am in a Global HR Implementation & Rollout Project. We are creating Outbound Interfaces for 3 countries to export pay, time and general data to the 3rd party systems in those local countries. (Payroll is outsourced there).
As well as sending New Joiners data every month, we need to send Changers data also to all those 3rd partys every month before the Payroll runs.
I know 2 solution for this :
a). Using Change Documents - Tcode : SCDO ..etc
b). Using the report RPUAUD00.
c). Using RBDMIDOC.
Query :
1). Are these the only solutions ?
2). Whats the best solution for doing this for a Global Rollout project ? I need to track master data change for different countries for different set of Infotypes and fields. I need to send those Changers data as well as the New Joiners data through the Outbound Interface to all the local countries.
This year we are doing for 3 countires, next year for 9 more countries, etc. Whats the best solution keeping this in mind ?
Restrictions :
1). Our Client HRs dont want us to disturb the report RPUAUD00 as they use that regularlly and want the flexibility to configure the configs themselves.
2). If I must need to create and activate Change Documents for ALL individual fields, is there an easy way of doing this ?

Cost event and Cost change API

Hello,
based on the documentation of RMS 13.2 and tests performed, the cost change information applied throught RMSSUB_XCOSTCHG.CONSUME doesn't create Cost events in RMS, thus, the future cost engine have no invoirmation about the changed cost. Logical, that the ELC is not in concideration too.
I have a question:
Is there a common way (best way, already implemented way) to "push" the cost change API to trigger the Cost events creation or somehow force future cost engine to recalculate the base and related cost infomation?
Suggestions are appreciated.

Please maintain correct Profit center through OKB9.
Or if the profit center is wrongly maintain by user then add the validation with the help of abapor using badi's MB_DOCUMENT_BADI / MB_DOCUMENT_UPDATE

I have used PU12 for same purpose at a similar client. It will fulfill all your needs I guess, but the learning curve is big. Search for "Interface Toolbox" or "PU12". Basically your search will end-up in these two links:

Track of table changes in a database

how to keep track of table changes in a database.
Some records have been deleleted, is there away of seeing that change.

basically, if you havn't already set up a mechanism to track these sorts of changes, they are already lost.
there are a number of things you can do. one method that we use is a trigger on the table to insert a record into an audit table for every row that gets changed or deleted.
oracle has some other built in auditing tools that I'm not familiar with though.

Hi,
Access the table through SM30. It comes blank as standard. Click "New Entries" and make entries for changes to be tracked. For example, whenever an org. unit changes 002 and 003 relationship, you will make entries like:
01 O 1001 B002 Activate box checked
01 O 1001 B003 Activate box checked
Here, 01 is your active plan version, O is org. unit, 1001 is infotype and B002 and B003 are the subtypes. You can also use * for infotype and subtype which means every change will be logged.
If you then run the report RHCDOC_DISPLAY through SA38, it will pick up all the changes pertaining to B002 and B003 relationship for org. units (in the above example).
Similarly, you can set up this table for other object types.
For more information, follow SPRO>Personnel Management>OM>Basic Settings>Activate change documents and go through the documentation for that node. Also, read up the documentation for the report.

I am working in an application which has Oracle 10 g for backend.
the application in total has around 30 tables and around 25 packages. I want to track the latest changes made in database. The database is accessible to my team of 20 members and i want to keep track what all changes in database(tables ,packages) are being made by them.Which package or table is being affected?
Can yanyone please suggest how to track the same?

How to track OWB mapping changes?

I'm a new bee to OWB. And I have a scenario where in more than one person will work on the same mapping. so I dont see any way to track the changes made by others. Is there a way to track who updated the OWB mapping last time and the changes they have done on the mapping??

I don't think there is a good way to track details for changes. There is a snapshot feature, but I don't think you can see what the specific modifications were. I don't use it. I use periodic mdl backups in case I need to recover the design (fortunately never had to do it) or to move updated objects across (when needed I track which objects changed in a spreadsheet). I also use a fairly primitve way of tracking my changes by storing prior versions of mappings (not all). If I want to keep a prior version, I copy the mapping and add '_V#' at the end. This indicates my last prior version. Then if I want to create another copy I will rename the current '_V#' to '_V1' (i.e. '_Vn'). Next I will create a copy of the current mapping and add the '_V#' at the end. Nothing sophisticated, but I use this sometimes and cleanup as things progress.
If there is a way to track and see all detail changes I would love to hear about it also.

How Import any Cost Change for FIFO by DI API

Dear all
I have some problem about item cost change with FIFO Item.
In SAP B1 2007A Standard Application. It has 2 way to do that,
first is use Landed Cost to add cost for Item that received.
second use Item Revaluation with FIFO layer.
But, If i want to import cost via DI API
I don't found any method to do that.
Anybody faced same problem before?
I attempt to find any solution for solve this issue about 2 weeks.

A script that can be used to track text content changes in indesign?

Is there a possibility a script that can be used to track text content changes in indesign. My Indesign software's version is CS3. As you can see below, I have deleted some texts and added some. I did it in another software.
I have been searched for a long time. Because of my poor English, I still can't come up with any Object Model related to the script yet.
Here is some idea of mine:
Use the script tracking my revising texts. When I add some new texts, the texts will be underlined. When I delete some texts, the position of the first character of the removed text will be added a small red triangle or something.

Video tracks disappear when changing between sequences in premiere CS6

Dear people, can you please help me find out why video tracks disappear when changing between sequences in premiere CS6.
All it shows is the audio track and it is maximized to the first frame of the sequence. Video tracks are there but hidden - although video IS showing up in the program monitor.
When I pull the tracks down in the timeline window using the dividing line between the video and audio tracks and set the sequence work area back it works fine, however it is a great annoyance having to do this every time when i swap between sequences.
Can anybody please suggest a solution to this?

(basically every type of audio i drop/place onto the timeline becomes left channel only, regardless of it being music or camera-recorded audio.
In the source monitor everything plays back just fine, but when placed to the timeline - it becomes LEFT only.

Please add characteristics 0BBP_OBGUID,, 0UNAME (created by), 0DATE (date) and 0TIME (time) in your transactional infocube and activate it.
You go to change ==> Planning Area ==> Characteristic Relations and prepare a relation based on Exit.
Source Characteristic = 0FISCVARNT
Target Characteristic = 0BBP_OBGUID
FM: Derivation = UPY_CDI_DERIVE_EXIT
FM: Comb. Proposal = UPY_CDI_DERIVE_EXIT
FM: Comb. Check = UPY_CDI_DERIVE_EXIT
You can now create a query, it will give the details of along with date and time stamp, user name and amount etc.

/sapsll/adrcon (GTS specific) but it has been checked for the log data changes in its technical settings
but still we are unable to track the changes in
cdpos table

The place where we find Transaction Table history is SCU3.

The logging flag defines whether changes to the data records of a table should be logged. If logging is activated, every change (with UPDATE, DELETE) to an existing data record by a user or an application program is recorded in a log table in the database.
Note: Activating logging slows down accesses that change the table. First of all, a record must be written in the log table for each change. Secondly, many users access this log table in parallel. This could cause lock situations even though the users are working with different application tables.
Dependencies
Logging only takes place if parameter rec/client in the system profile is set correctly. Setting the flag on its own does not cause the table changes to be logged.
The existing logs can be displayed with Transaction Table history (SCU3).
