Trans. SO10 - Text for a SapScript

Hi;
I'm new with the sapscripts.
With the trans. SO10 i've created a text in development (mand. 140), what must i do to transportate this text to Qas (mand 200) and then to production (mand 300) so it can be used for the sapscript...?.
Thanks on advance.

Text Elements are a component/part of the SAP script and are not individual ABAP objects within the SAP environment hence they cannot be transported independently.
You would need to make changes in your text elements in the SAP script which would result in the SAP script being saved under a transport and moving the transport across the landscape would result in the text elements also getting transported.
In short: Move SAP script - to move text elements.

    Hi Majid,
It's a function module to read the texts from a text file. Generally it is used to retrieve the long texts.
The function module reads the desired text from the text file, the text memory, or the archive. You must fully specify the text using OBJECT, NAME, ID, and LANGUAGE. An internal work area can hold only one text; therefore, generic specifications are not allowed with these options.
After successful reading, the system places header information and text lines into the work areas specified with HEADER and LINES.
If a reference text is used, SAPscript automatically processes the reference chain and provides the text lines found in the text at the end of the chain. If an error occurs, the system leaves the function module and triggers the exception REFERENCE_CHECK.

  • Using formats of SO10 text in Adobe forms

    Hello guys,
I got a question concerning the interaction of SO10 texts with adobe form text fields.
I know there are some threads about it here, and I think I understand the default SAP behavior, but can you please confirm if I am right? Then I got a special question about one case.
So is it right that there is only the difference between formatting the textfield itself in adobe form layout and adding a style to the text field in form context?
    This means:
    (1) Whenever in my text field in form context no style is added, the adobe form will take the formatting like it is done in the adobe form layout? This would mean that every format which is entered in the SO10 text is insignificant for the adobe form?
    (2) Whenever in my text field a style is added, SAP will use SO10 text formats? This means, SAP searches for the smartforms style which is entered in the textfield and uses the formats from SO10 text like they were defined in the smartforms style?
    Is this correct so far?
    Now the special questions:
    (1) What happens if a style is added, but the style does not exist as smartforms style. Which font etc. will be used then?
    (2) What happens if a style is added, but the format of SO10 text does not exist in the smartform style?
In both cases it looks like SAP takes some "default" style, but where does it come from?
    Thanks a lot!
    Regards
    Michael

  • ICSS B2B Standard SO10 text in problem description not shown in ICSS

    Hi all,
we have created a standard text in SO10 which should be determined in the problem description field in a service ticket using standard text determination customizing and an access sequence using a copy of the standard function module.
This works fine in the web UI (and GUI). But the standard text does not appear in e-service. We actually created the standard text for e-service purposes because it serves as a questionnaire to make sure the customers give us all required info.
Does anyone know how the text can be displayed in ICSS application ?
    Best regards

  • Hi..how we enter standard text for smartform using include text

    hi
    guru
..how we enter standard text for smartform using include text..
i know only using so10 we write text..
    in smartform it asking text-object
                                     text-id,
so what values we should give to get text

    Hi,
Do u want to print Standard Text or the Texts that are maintained at the Transaction level.
If it is standard text , then u use text id as ST or if it is Texts that are maintained at the Transaction level then u have to go to that specific transaction and check for that text , then go to text editor ,in the goto menu u have header data where u get the Text id , text name.... , use them in ur smartform in the INCLUDE text.
Further u have the option of text modules in smartforms which act as standard texts, so if u r going for creation of standard texts then its better to use text modules.

  • Print text vertically in SAPScript

    Hi,
How to print text vertically in SAPScript?
Can we use controls for it?
    Please help its urgent.
    Thanks,
    Madhura

You can print horizantally. using the following code
You know the total length of your text right.
You need to have conditions to avoid unnecessary spaces.
    If &v_text(1)& is not initial.
    ph &v_text(1)&
    endif.
    if &v_text+1(1) is not initial.
    ph &v_text+1(1)
    enddif.
    if &v_text+2(1) is not initial.
    ph &v_text+2(1)
    enddif.
But we cant rotate letters to left . Not sure . Will explore on it and let you know.

  • Problem in including text id in sapscript

    Hi,
I am using the following command to include a text id in sapscript.
INCLUDE &VBDKR-XBLNR& OBJECT VBBK ID Z001 LANGUAGE &VBDKR-SPRAS_VKO&
But the text is not showing in form. Now when I debug the sap script I found that altough VBDKR-XBLNR is holding value 0060000120 but the at include commant the value passed is 60000120.
So the text id is not found.
    How to resolve this problem.
    Regards,
    Mainak

    Solution:
INCLUDE &VBDKR-XBLNR(K)& OBJECT VBBK ID Z001 LANGUAGE &VBDKR-SPRAS_VKO&
see the (K) within your variable &VBDKR-XBLNR(K)&.
this k makes him skip conversion routine which is responsible for cutting the leading zeros.
    /edit
You can as well use VBDKR-TDNAME which is by default your invoice number WITH leading zeros.
while VBDPR-TDNAME is your invoice number with leading zeros AND your position number right concatenated to it.

  • How to assign my customized smart style to the SO10 texts?

    Hi .
In the standard text which we enter through SO10, I want some of the words to be coloured(blue) and some lines should be highlighted with yellow backgnd colour.
For the first part at least, how can I change the SO10 text's style to my customized style?
I can see the style list in text editor format menu->change style, but there, only some of the styles are able to select and I am not able to see my own customized style created through the tcode /NSMARTSTYLES.
    Please help.

  • Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12154

    Hello,
I try to install php 5.1.2 on a WIN2003 server and IIS6 with the OCi8 extension without success from several days.
On my server I've a 920 oracle client and the 10.1 instant client, I copy the tnsnames.ora in the instant client's directory.
I've declare many environnement variables :
    - NLS_LANG : AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252
    - TNS_ADMIN : E:\...\oracle\instantclient_10_1
    - ORA_NLS33 : E:\..\oracle\920\ocommon\nls\ADMIN\DATA
With the php command line the oci_connect function correctly works : the php command line use the instant client's tnsnames.ora. I can query with success my database.
When I try to load a web php script (the same as the php command line script) I have the following error " Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12154" ( oci_connect( $user , $pass, $sid ) . The $sid variable have the value of an alias declared in the tnsnames.ora.
If I replace the sid's alias by something like this " (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=xx.xx.xx.xx)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=xx)" in the oci_connect function, I have another error : Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12705.
A web page with the phpinfo function displays the following messages about oci8 extension : It seems to be correct.
    oci8
    OCI8 Support enabled
    Revision $Revision: 1.269.2.8 $
    Active Persistent Connections 0
    Active Connections 0
    Temporary Lob support enabled
    Collections support enabled
Do you have any idea ? Thanks a lot

The web server is not seeing the Oracle environment correctly. You need to set PATH to the instant client libraries. ORA_NLS33 is not used for Oracle 10g clients. Perhaps you have some library conflict with two versions of Oracle on the machine?
