Transaction launcher  - URL transaction and parameter

Dear Experts,
I need to pass the confirmed BP's address as a parameter to an URL transaction. How would I achieve this? My URL is http://maps.google.com
Thanks & Regards,
Kanthimathi

Hi,
We faced a similar situation. You can pass parameters to an external website in the query string. But you cannot do that with the classic transaction launcher config.
You would need to write javascript code to achieve this on the 'confirm' button event handler code.
Hope it helps!
Thanks,
Sudipta.

  • Transaction Launcher Logical Systems and URLs

    Hi,
I'm facing a problem with Transaction Launcher.
I've done all the settings specified here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/46/231befc17b5872e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
Under section "Define Transaction Launcher Logical Systems and URLs" I've specified the values for Quality System: the ECC system is MQAS200A
By the way, when I try to access an ERP Sales Order, the transaction CRM_TL_ERP_BUS2032_DISPLAY tries to access system MSVL200A (which is the Development ECC System).
I cannot change the Logical System within the Transaction Launcher Configuration (currently it is set to ERP), since the Transaction is standard.
Does anybody know how to map the generic value ERP with the correct value MQAS200A instead of MSVL200A?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Andrea Ricci

    Hi,
You cannot generalize the Logical system name, for the workaround you need to put the logical system for quality and transport it to quality and it should work and to check in dev you need to again change the log. sys to dev and save it but dont transport it. Similarly you can do for production system.

  • Open a transaction via url, passing a parameter/value and SEND THE OK CODE

    Hello Guys,
I'm trying to open a transaction via a hyperlink (System Action). That works so far, but my problem is that there is no button on the dynpro which triggers the going on. I have to press ENTER or the green hook in the corner of the gui. The transaction I'm opening is IE02 with an equipmentno. The value is in the destination field and the only thing what has to happen know is to trigger the next step (namely opening the "change equipment" dialog). Is there a standard OK-Code for the ENTER-Key or green hook ?
    Greetings,
    Jochen

    hi...
I can't find that parameter in my Visual Composer environment. I tried to put it in my calling URL but it didn't work either. My URL looks like this:
    '/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.bwc.Transaction?System=' & STORE@systemalias & '&TCode=ie02&GuiType=' & STORE@guitype & '&DynamicParameter=RM63E-EQUNR%3D' & @EQUIPMENT & '&PROCESS_FIRST_SCREEN%3D' & 'YES'
Instead of the last parameter "PROCESS_FIRST_SCREEN" i could use a ok-code, but in transaction ie02 there is no ok-code to commit the screen, because there is no button...
    Any ideas?
    Greets,
    Jochen

  • Transaction Launcher: Avoid log on Authentication or bypass by defaulting a generic username and password

    Dear Mates,
    Please find the requirement below,
Due to limited users in ECC system, When launching an ECC transaction from CRM Web UI using Transaction Launcher functionality, the framework is prompting to enter user name and password. Now I need to either avoid user authentication or bypass by defaulting a generic username and password.
I tried passing sap user id and password in ITS URL, but not no luck
Could any one share their valuable comments on this issue?
    Thanks,
    Raja

    Hi Raja,
please have have a look at the following thread: Default User Name and Password for ECC Transaction
It seems to describe exactly your scenarios. The solution proposed there by zafar karnalkar is to set the default username and password in transaction launcher URL in transaction CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS. The URL parameters necessary for this are:
    sap-user= username
    sap-password = password.

  • Open report using transaction launcher

    Hi experts,
Can anyone guide me on how to open a report ( SE38 ) onto WEB UI using transaction launcher ??
    Thanks,
    Suchita

    Hi Suchita,
The transaction Launcher can be used to launch URLs and BSPs / BOR transactions from other systems.
To launch a GUI transaction a BOR object type with a method EXECUTE, that supports synchronous calls is required.
    1. A mapping of the logical systems is required: Transaction: CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS
    2. To launch a GUI transaction a BOR object type with a method EXECUTE, that supports synchronous calls is required.Transaction: SE80 > Workbench > Edit object
Copy BOR object type TSTC to ZTSTC
    3. Set in the method EXECUTE the flag 'Synchronousu2018
    4. Generate the object
    5. Following steps are for the Transaction launcher wizard :
IMG:Customer Relationship Management > UI Framework > > Technical Role Definition > Configure Transaction Launcher
    or transaction: CRMC_UI_ACTIONWZ
Enter an ID (donu2018t use the F4-help)
    Enter a description
    Enter a class name (donu2018t use the F4-help): ZCL_<name>
Flag u201AStatefulu2018, if the URL should be launched in a new window
Choose Transaction Type = BOR Transaction
Choose the BOR Object type you created
    Choose EXECUTE
    ChooseParameter: Object Key
    Value: <transaction code>
IMG: Customer Relationship Management > UI Framework > Technical Role Definition >  Define Navigation Bar Profile
    Create an new Logical Link
    Type: C Launch Transaction
    Target ID: EXECLTX
    Parameter class: CL_CRM_UI_LTX_NAVBAR_PARAM
IMG: Customer Relationship Management > UI Framework > Technical Role Definition >  Define Navigation Bar Profile
Create a new Direct Link Group and assign the logical link to it
Assign the Direct Link Group to your Navigation Bar Profile
IMG: Customer Relationship Management > Business Role > Define Business Role > Set the link to visible
    Hope this answers your question.

  • A popup message comes when using transaction launcher

    Hello experts.
I have configured transaction launcher to show a report program output in the UI (stateful not checked).
Everything is working fine, but when I click on any other navigation bar links after seeing the report in UI, a pop-up message comes as 'Possible Data Loss. Do you want to continue'. Although when I click 'yes', it works normally thenafter and no data is lost.
But what can be the reason for this message to com and how can I remove it.
    Thanks
    Abhi

    Hi Robert,
I'm facing the same problem. But as I've created my transaction launcher by IMG link  'Configure Transaction Launcher' I can't see any entry under 'Define URLs and parameter.
Also while creating the transaction launcher both Stateful and Raise Veto were not checked.
What do I do in this scenario?

  • How to debug Transaction Launcher

    Hi Experts,
I am new to CRM. I  am working on the requiremnet of calling VA01 screen  inCRM WEBUI through Transaction Launcher .
As part of it i copied TSTC BOR object to Z and added some extra method to get some default values populated in VA01 screen.
I tested this Z BOR object and it is working fine. Now in CRM configured Transaction Launcher through wizard and given my logical system (connecting to ecc)and Z BOR object and passed parameter value as VA01 to object key in wizard. created my own logical link id with assigned transaction link id and assigned to workcenter->navbarprofile->businessrole.
I followed this blog to configure Transaction Launcher
    /people/vikash.krishna/blog/2008/09/23/crm-2007-how-to--2-a-transaction-launcher
After completion of above development i executed webui but i am unable to display VA01..Intially it used to show ECC screen and message as ' you do not have authorization for transaction VA01'.But when i rectified some thing and again execute webui it is now showing blank screen.
I am unable to make it out where i went wrong whether the problem is with logical system or ZBOR object. WhenI tried to debug it by keeping break-point in the class CL_UICMP_LT_ABOXEXECUTION_IMPL and method ip_inbound plug and in the ZBOR object in ECC  i am able to see the parameters passed to the traunsaction launcher class but it is not stoping at ZBOR object .
From last 3 days i am trying hard and unsuccessfull.my deadlines are approching.
Please kindly help me out how  can i analyze to see where i went exactly wrong.
I really appreciate the persons who helps me in passing the situation.
    Regards ,
    Pavan T.

    Hi Luis Rivera ,
Thanks a Ton. The link id 'Every thing about Transaction Launcher' is really helpfull. Now i am  able to display VA01 in Webui .
    My Requirement goes like this
User will search for a account say of function 'Sold-to-party' ,after successfull search we will get related partners also. Now user will select one among the related partners(say 'Ship-to-party') and clicks confirm ,Now we will have two confirmed partners sold-to & ship-to.User will now select create order from Navigation bar and VA01 screen should be displayed with sold-to & ship-to fields get filled automatically from conformed partners.
So i created a ZBOR and added a method with those parameters as import parameters . see the below code.
      SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'PCODE'      LV_PCODE.
    SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'BUYER'      LV_BUYER.
    SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'SHIP_TO'    LV_SHIP_TO.
    SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'SOLD_TO'    LV_SOLD_TO.
    SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'ORDER_TYPE' LV_ORDER_TYPE.
    IF LV_PCODE IS NOT INITIAL.
SET PARAMETER ID: LV_PCODE-pid FIELD LV_PCODE-value.
      ENDIF.
    IF LV_BUYER IS NOT INITIAL.
SET PARAMETER ID:  LV_BUYER-pid FIELD  LV_BUYER-value.
        ENDIF.
    IF LV_SHIP_TO IS NOT INITIAL.
SET PARAMETER ID: LV_SHIP_TO-pid FIELD LV_SHIP_TO-value.
    ENDIF.
    IF LV_SOLD_TO IS NOT INITIAL.
SET PARAMETER ID:  LV_SOLD_TO-PID FIELD  LV_SOLD_TO-VALUE.
    ENDIF.
    IF LV_ORDER_TYPE IS NOT INITIAL.
SET PARAMETER ID 'AAT' FIELD LV_ORDER_TYPE-VALUE.
    ENDIF.
    CALL TRANSACTION OBJECT-KEY-CODE.
I am able to read the values from BOL to my ZBOR parameters
PCODE, SHIP_TO,SOLD_TO,BUYER e.t.c .Now i want set these values to VA01 screen using SET/GET Parameter ID's as shown in above code.but these values are not being set.Could you suggest any way how can i achieve this.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Pavan.

    Hi,
Please read below 2 blogs on transaction  launcher.
    /people/vikash.krishna/blog/2008/09/23/crm-2007-how-to--2-a-transaction-launcher
    /people/vikash.krishna/blog/2009/04/23/crm-2007-how-to--2-b-transaction-launcher
It seems couple of steps are missing for your transaction launcher.
Maintaining of systems in transaction:  CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS
      and then Nav bar customizing.
      I hope it helps.
    Thanks,

    Hello Nalinakumar,
You need to define Transaction Launcher Logical systems and URL's in
IC->ICWebclient>Administration->System Parameters->Define Transaction Launcher Logical systems and URL.
    You need to configure activities
    CRM->IC Webclient->BasicFunctions-->Transaction Launcher->Define URL's and Parameters.

  • Launch PCUI Transaction from ICWEB passing parameters

    Hi All.
I'm trying to launch a PCUI transaction (COMM_BUPAR) from Icweb then would like to pass as parameter the confirmed BP in order to get the detail in the PCUI application, is this possible ? any tips ?
    Best regards.
    Addict

    Hi,
Use the transaction launcher wizard to create the link and assign the parameter for the bp number.
    IMG path:
    ->Customer Relationship Management
    ->Interaction Center WebClient
    ->Basic Functions
    ->Transaction Launcher
    ->Configure Transaction Launcher (Wizard)
Depending on what you want you can edit the generated code afterwards to redefine the call.  This is cover in the IC webclient cookbook.
    Cheers

  • Unable to access ECC transactions from CRM using Transaction Launcher

Hi Folks, we are trying to create a booking request using VA11 from portal. For this we have configured transaction launcher in CRM which will connect to ECC system from portal and VA11 screen will be launched. For this we have done the necessary configuration in transaction launcher (Including RFC destination and logical system) and this is working fine in Dev system but not in quality system. We are able to see SAP screen with toolbar Menu and System but not the entire transaction (refer image below). Our questions here are,
    1)     What user type has to be configured when connecting from CRM to ECC? (System, Communication data or any ohter)
    2)     If this has to work with user as Dialog, is there any supporting document from SAP saying this should be Dialog user?
    3)     Is there any other issue and need development specifically related BOR TSTC?
Warm regards and thanks in advance for your time.
    Prasad

    Hello JC,
Yes, it is possible . You have to create new work center link or Direct Link for the existing transaction launcher.

  • Transaction Launcher in IC Webclient?

    Dear all,
Why we use Transaction Launcher in IC Webclient Configuration? What is the use of it?
After creation Navigation bar profile, Trnasaction bar profile and Business Profile and assinging to IC weblcient profile, How could we call it into PCUI interface?
How many Interfaces does IC Webclient Supports?
What is the major differences between SAP CRM Winclient and Webclient?
Please help to understand the above scenarios clearely, your suggestions and help will be highly appreciated.
    Thank you

    Dear Raghu,
Transaction launcher is used to call the transactions(for eg: CRMD_ORDER) into the ICWC.
It can be configured using the wizard
    SPRO>Customer Relationship Management>Interaction Center WebClient>Basic Functions> Transaction Launcher -->Configure Transaction Launcher (Wizard)
It requires knowledge of BOL objects,BOR methods, BOL browser
You will need to define a class,Transaction Launcher type, import export parameters, logical system in it, hence the trasaction will be pulled fromt the logical system into the ICWC.
Major difference between a win client and a Webclient is that the IC winclient is totally SAP GUI whereas the ICWC is the BSP page with PCUI
I hope this information helps you .
    Regards
    Raj
