Transactions in local currency and report in Foreign currencies

Hi All,
Can anybody help me out to find the solution for my issue. The issue is, all the transactions are entered in Inr Currency and the report in FBL5N, FBL3N and FBL1N is to be taken out in USD Currency.
Please help me to sort out this issue.

Hi,
Add additional filed in FBL5N, FBL3N & FBL1N structure and write logic to get values.
Simply multiply document currency into exchange rate as on posting date of that document. You  will get exchange rate from table TCURR.
To add addition field go through following documents.

  • Bank Reconcilliation Report in Foreign Currency

    Hi,
    We are on SAP B1 8.8 PL4.
Please advise on how to get/print the bank reconciliation report in foreign currency.
The current report (Reports-Banking-External Reconcilliation-Bank Reconcilliation report) only allows printing of the report in the local currency.
    Kind Regards,
    Asif

    Hi Asif,
In the latest B1 version, you can have External Reconciliation By Summary (FC). Check if you have the same option. If not, you need to create your own or upgrade to the latest version.
    Thanks,

  • How to create Sales order and Invoice in Foreign Currency

    Dear All,
What are the procedures I have to do to create the sale order and Invoice in Foreign currency.
Is it enough if I maintain the currency in the Customer Master and Excahge rate OBBS.
    or
We have to do someting in the Sales order (Change the currency document header level)?
    Kindly explain.
    Regards,
    Mullairaja

    Dear Mullairaja
Under customer master you can maintain currency eg. usd, eur etc. that will do.. (hope you have maintain diift. Dist. Channel for Export sales and maintain Recon A/c for export revenue.) This will copy to Sales order.
Under t.code OB08 we maintain the Currency Exchange Rates which will help for copying control.
Under Displaying Billing document - Accounting -  you can click on Display Currency Tab,  here you will understand the rate conversion  i.e from USD to INR.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Contract Currency and different User Default Currency

    Hi,
I have the following challenge related to contracts. I have maintained a central contract at country A which uses EURO currency (for example a value contract worth u20AC10K). Call offs (purchase orders) can be made against this contract by subsidiaries in other countries (country B and C). Users from these subsidiary offices have defaulted their currency as the correct local currency unit e.g. PLN, CHF. However when users from country B and C make call-offs (purchase orders) against the central contract the system appears to ignore their default currency and uses the contract currency of EURO in the call-offs (purchase orders). My question is as follows, is it possible to have a central contract maintained in one currency e.g. EURO and allow users to generate call offs against this contract in their local currency which can be different? If so can you please give me some guidance?
    Regards

    Hi
Hope you created a contract for 10000 EURO total value
Purchase order also created for PLN, CHF as EURO currency only which against the contract
so release value also updated in EURO only.

  • Create items by vendor and customer on Foreign Currency Valuation

When we execute Foreign Currency Valuation, we would like to create items in a document by vendor and customer.
Can we handle it a 'Corp.group-vendors' flag(Evaluate Accounts According to Group Definition) ?
Can you help with this issue please?
    Thanks,
    Sato.Ishikawa

    HI,
With the report SAPF100, you will be able to valuate foreign currencies
    from customer and vendor accounts.
It is not possible to post a foreign currency valuation directly to a
vendor or customer account. This is only possible for g/l accounts.
You can refer to the following workarounds:
From the technical point of view you can use FB01 to post such a posting
You have to enter a exchange rate manually in the first screen. In this
case this exchange rate is used instead of the exhange rate of table
    TCURR (transaction OB08).
You have to choose a exchange rate which transfer the amount in local
currency to 0,00 in foreign currency.Another possibility is to use
RFBIBL00 in transfer type direct input for FB01.An amount of 0 in
    foreign currency should work.
The system is designed not to post documents with 0 amount in foreign
    currency to vendors/customers.

  • GR report in Foreign currency

    Hi guy
As above qns, I used MB51 to get my GR receipt (Movt Type: 101) and managed to get Local Currency. But somehow there isn't any foreign currency  Is there any report to show the foreign currency and Local currency on GR?
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
It's impossible, because GR value is figured out by local currency, system can not list the document currency in the GR report.

  • Report for foreign currency revaluation - FAGL_FC_VAL

    Hello Experts,
I have executed FAL_FC_VAL - Foreign Currency Revaluation Program. System posted some accounting entry for the same. However, I want to know how system calculated and for which invoices it calculated.
For this I want a report from SAP, for foreign currency revaluation. Please let me know the TCode for the report.
I can see some output on screen, showing calculation, during test run. But it does not get saved anywhere.
    Please help

    Hello Ms Meena,
You can achieve to have this if you are in ECC 6.0 by activating the Logs to be stored.
This can be done via FAGL_FC_VAL & go to the last tab as below.
Precondition : Make sure before user run the revaluation they click on both tick mark.
    Click on Logs
give the date when they it is run & execute
    Select the log
Here you can select your fields like vendor name/customer name/GL account Name.
I would strongly suggest to create a variant by yourself & save & then ask the user to change the date to revaluation everymonth.
    Many thanks

  • Forcing Local Currency amounts when posting Foreign Currency documents

When posting entries in a foreign currency (FC), it is possible and often used to force through a local currency (LC) amount that differs from what SAP would have posted using the current For Ex rate.  This is used in cases where a payment is made in FC a couple months later and someone would like to see the LC of the originally posted invoice match the LC of the payment.  Although SAP allows you to override the For Ex rate in such a manner, what are the effects of these types of postings?  Does the difference ever get recognized, and, if so, where?
Thanks in advance for any explanations.

    Hi,
Suppose at the time of invoice the exchange rate was 40 and the amount shoule be as below:-
    Document currency = 100
    Local Currency = 4000
But you have entered the invoice at exchange rate of 45 which was applicable at the payment date
    Document currency = 100
    Local Currency = 4500
And the payment document line item is posted with the
    Document currency = 100
    Local Currency = 4500
In this case, system will not do any foreign exchange rate difference provided there is no month end revaluation happening between the invoice posting date and paymentt posting date.

    Gaurav

  • Define lead currency in tx.1 (foreign currency transactions)

    Hi sap gurus,
we wanna make an foreign currency selling operation in TX.1 (forex fast entry) but we got the following message :
No currency pair is defined for currencies CAD TRY
    Message no. T7020
    Diagnosis
There is no currency pair defined for the currencies you have entered.
    Procedure
Maintain an entry under 'Define lead currency' in the Customizing settings.
    i check the currency customizings

    Hi,
You have to maintain a leading currency for this currency pair under the configuration:
financial supply chain management -- Treasury and Risk management --  Transaction manager -- General Settings -- Transaction management -- Currencies -- Define Leading currency.
In this you have to maintain a value for the currency pair.

  • Company code currency and Report currency

    Hello Experts,
    Below are my scenario
We have  8 different legal entities with 4 different country ( same business )
Here 4 different  country with four  fiscal year variant  and also 4 chart of account   so my controlling area also  4
    My report Requirements as
    1.    Here each and every report I want  company code currency and also report currency as USD
Do I want to do any separate setting for this  requirement
    2.     In controlling area  we have currency setting  where  what type shall I select it
Company code currency OR others ?
    Thanks & Regards
    Venkat Sri

    Hi VS
    1. Since you have separate controlling area for each country - You can have Currency Type as 10 - Comp Code Currency...
Ensure that any company code you add under this controlling area will have to have the same currency
    2. You can have currency type as 20 incase you feel there can be company codes with different currencies under the same controlling area
    3. Now coming to reports - Go to RPC0 (for Cost Centers) RPO0 (Internal Orders) and you can choose the default currency to be "Object Curr / Company Code Curr"
You can also specify USD currency / Translation date etc here incase you want to translate all reports to USD

  • How to block Entity Currency and make only ENtity Currency Adj available?

    Hi,
I have some P&L accounts which need to be blocked for Entity currency but have a calculation in rules. These accounts still need to be available for journals. I have ensured that the Is Calculated is 'N'. Then I ve set up formulas for the accounts. Also I ve ensured that the accounts are non input for Entity Currency. The entity currency calculations are happening fine. I can even post journals but when I run a consolidation, the amount in ENtity Currency Adj dissapears.
Thiis is the Sub routine for No input. I guess I'll need to add a HS.Clear for these accounts as well
    Sub PANDLNOINPUT()
         Dim sAccount, aAccountList
         aAccountList = HS.Account.List ("PANDLV2","[Base]")
         For Each sAccount In aAccountList
              HS.NoInput "A#" & sAccount & ".V#<Entity Currency>"
         Next
    End Sub
Also for the calculation of teh P and L accounts, I have the following rules
    Calculate Cash Flow
    '=================================================================================================================
    Sub CalcCPandLFlow(sPOVScenario)
         Dim nVal
         Dim aCustom1List, sCustom1, aCustom4List, sCustom4
         Dim sPriorScenario
         aCustom1List = HS.Custom1.List("", "C1_AllBaseXNone")
         aCustom4List = HS.Custom4.List("", "C4_AllBaseXNone")
         sPriorScenario = GetPriorScenario(sPOVScenario)
         For Each sCustom1 In aCustom1List
              For Each sCustom4 In aCustom4List
                   'Operating Profit
                   nVal = HS.GetCell("A#B20201.C1#" & sCustom1 & ".C4#" & sCustom4 & ALL_TOPXC1XC4)
                   Call SetValPL("A#P20201.C1#" & sCustom1 & ".C4#" & sCustom4, nVal)
Finally the sub routine for calculation is
    Sub SetValPL(sCFAccount, nVal)
              If nVal <> 0 Then
              Call HS.SetDataWithPOV(sCFAccount & ALL_NONEXC1XC4, nVal, False)
         Else
              Call HS.Clear(sCFAccount & ALL_NONEXC1XC4)
         End If
Please help me as we are in year end. Need help desperately
    End Sub

The clear action takes place within Sub SetValPL, but you are not limiting its exectution in the value dimension. As a result, the clear is being executed in every value member in which Sub Calculate runs. You must add a condition to allow it to only run when the point of view value member is not Entity Cur Adjs, or whenever you want it to. Generally speaking every rule in your file should at least have a value dimension condition with you determining when it should or should not execute.

  • Multiple BP Currency and Payments

    Hi All,
The scenario is we have a BP to whom we do the sales billings in multiple currency eg. USD & EUR and system currency or local currency is SGD.
Have created a BP master with multiple currency and it looks fine as far as sale invoice is concern. Now we have reaceived an advance payment from the customer in EUR 1000, when we process the same through Incoming payment screen by selecting Payment On Account system considers it as SGD ie. Local Currency and not in Foreign Currency ie. EUR.
We have two bank accounts one is for USD and another one is for EUR. We will be debiting the respective GL accounts while posting incoming payment.
Request help from all experts to extend a solution for the same.
    Regards
    N.Narayana Swamy

    Hi Kestrin,
With the information and deails provided, I understand the complexity in managing a BP in multiple currency.
In this case customer book all commercial sales invoices and purchase transactions in USD & EUR currency for a particular BP. Which we can post by changing the currency at doc level, the issue is when we receive an advance payment from the customer in FC.
While processing incoming payment no where in the screen we can specify currency type, by default system prompts LC. Where as I have different bank accounts like ABC Bank - USD and XYZ Bank - EUR. In GL account we have mentioned respective currency type and not the LC.
In such case, how do we can post an incoming payment to repsective bank account with respective currency type mentioning in incoming payment screen.
    Regards
