Transfer Applecare Agreement

I'm selling my iPod and it still has about 6 months remaining on the Applecare agreement. How can I go about transferring the ownership of the iPod so the new owner can receive support on it and they won't have to know all of my information to get support?

Transfer of Plan
You may transfer this Plan to a new owner of the Covered Equipment. If you purchased the Plan in the U.S. or Canada, send us notice of transfer with the Plan Agreement Number to AppleCare Administration, P.O. Box 149125, Austin, TX 78714-9125, U.S. You must provide the Plan’s Agreement Number, the serial numbers of the Covered Equipment being transferred, proof of purchase of the Plan, and the name, address, telephone number and email address of the new owner.

MacBook replaced: does AppleCare agreement transfer?

Hi,
I had a number of problems with my first revision MacBook (3 replacement batteries, replacement power pack, faulty logic board, faulty bluetooth, cracked case, discolouration, broken bezel, stuck pixel, mushy trackpad, etc, etc). When the logic board and bluetooth module failed again, Apple agreed to replace the machine with the latest MacBook (released a couple of days ago).
I have just under two years to run on the AppleCare associated with the first MacBook - does this AppleCare agreement automatically transfer to the new machine? or will I need to contact Apple again to arrange? I'm hoping that I do not need to purchase AppleCare again but forgot to ask this question when I picked up my new MacBook.
Similarly, I recently purchased ProCare (as I needed the logic board replaced quickly!) - will my old MacBook be removed automatically from the list of machines registered to me? I think the ProCare covers 3 machines so obviously do not want my old MacBook to be included on this list!
Any info from anyone with experience in these matters would be greatly appreciated!

I spoke to customer relations today:
1) AppleCare
Two choices - transfer the plan to new machine and use the remainder up with this machine or receive a pro-rata rebate on AppleCare and buy new AppleCare (I chose the latter)
2) ProCare
Visit the store I purchased this from and they will be able to de-register my old MacBook and update my agreement to include my new MacBook
Relatively pain-free resolution but would have been useful if this process was automated.
Hopefully this will help anyone with a similar query in the future.

Transfer Applecare when Ipod is stolen?

My new Ipod was stolen from my car the other day. I bought and registered an applecare extended warranty for it. If I purchase a new Ipod can I apply the remaining term of the extended warranty to the new Ipod without buying another warranty? It seems like a rip off if I have to buy it again, as the thief won't be able to use it

As far as I know, you cannot transfer the agreement to another iPod.
However, you can cancel it and get a refund.

How to change delivery priority in stock transfer schedule agreements.

Hi Experts,
we have an issue, the delivery priority is changed in the customer master recently and the deliveries created for the old schedule agreements pick the old delivery priority. we need to change the delivery priority in schedule agreements.
Is there a way to change the delivery priority(in item shipping data) in stock transfer schedule agreement(doc type= LU).
I tried changing it in ME32L but its just a display.

When does my AppleCare agreement start?

If you buy an AppleCare agreement (from the online store) in the same order as, say, an iMac, but the computer doesn't ship right away, when does the agreement start? When the agreement is bought, or when the computer arrives and you register it?
I bought one of the new iMacs recently,, and I also bought an AppleCare agreement in the same order. But since the machine was said to ship in 2-3 weeks, but the agreement was completed immediately, does this mean my agreement is already running even though I don't have the computer yet? If so, I'm losing out, aren't I? Meaning, since I bought the computer and agreement on November 30, but the computer won't get here until maybe 3 weeks after that, am I wasting part of the agreement time (from Nov. 30 until whenever the computer arrives)?
Or does the term of the agreement not actually start until the computer gets here and I register it, even though I already paid for the agreement?
Am I making any sense here? :)

Just to make sure - when you get your machine, go here:

and register your product (or check if it is registered already). When you get to where the date of purchase is displayed, make sure it is indeed the shipping date. If it is not, contact Apple and inform them of the discrepancy.
As for the Apple care: your regular warranty is for one year with phone support for the first 90 days - the Apple care sort of runs concurrently because it covers any phone support for 3 years (technically, it adds 2 years to the original warranty) as well as hardware support of course.

Finding iPod serial number from AppleCare Agreement Number???

My son's iPod was stolen. We bought applecare for it, and it shows up on the website, but we can't find the serial number.
No box, another iPod (his nano) has more recently been connected to the computer...
Can Apple get the serial number from the applecare agreement? We had to enter it when we registered...

Call 1-800-MY-APPLE and give tell them the situation. Give them the name you registered the ipod under, they should be able to look it up and get you the information. per other posters (laundry bleach, Chris CA) You may be able to get a refund on the AppleCare protection plan. Contact AppleCare (800) 275-2273.

Conditon addition in stock transfer scheduling agreement

Dear All,
When I am creating the stock transfer Scheduling Agreement in the transaction ME37, and trying to add any other condition type manualy which is present in the pricing procedure of stock transfer order, assigned to the document type : "LU".
then the system is giving an error message " NOT possible to determine the condition type" , even system is not showing the P101 condition type in the creation mode of the scheduling agreement.
And it is showing only in display mode of the scheduling Agreement
by selecting the line Item -> Price simulation and showing the correct scheduling agreement.
but there also we are unable to change the price.

It's almost certainly on the box the machine came in.
Also you can use System Profiler (in Utilities, also can access through "More info" in the "About this mac" window -- click on the "apple" in top left corner). In the Profiler click Hardware on the left and look at the info in the right panel ("Serial Number (system)").

Changing shipping conditions in stock transfer scheduling agreements EKPV

I am wondering if anyone has a solution or knows if SAP has any functionality enhancements to allow shipping data in stock transfer scheduling agreements to be changed. Currently we are on ECC 6.0 and are going to be applying EHP5 within the next few weeks. I see that SAP has made changes to stock transfer orders with EHP5 however, the shipping data does not appear to be changeable. Any help is appreciated.

Apple doesn't recognize my AppleCare agreement

Hey folks,
Got a bit of a problem I could use some help with.
Last month, I purchased an iPhone 3G, and decided to purchase an AppleCare service agreement with it. Earlier tonight, I figured it would be a good idea to log into http://www.apple.com/support/applecare/overview/ and register my AppleCare agreement with Apple. But upon doing so, I got this error message:
*"We're sorry, but this AppleCare agreement has already been registered."*
(I did check my list of current AppleCare agreements, and did not see it listed, either.)
Now what? I went to the "contact us" page, and it is unclear who I should contact about problems with AppleCare.
I'm a little worried, since at this point I have a potentially dud AppleCare agreement, and would like to get the issue sorted out as quickly as possible.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If folks who maintain Apple's website are reading this, they want to take a look at that UI issue.

Can I renew an expired applecare agreement?

I had an applecare agreement on my Mac Air, purchased in August 2011. It expired on August 2014 and I received no notice or request to renew.
I see it is now expired and I'd like to renew it. My mac is working just fine, but if something goes wrong, I cannot afford to replace it. So I'd rather have the applecare agreement so it could be fixed if something goes wrong before I can afford a new one.
Any options?

Can I transfer AppleCare from one number to another number within same family?

I have 5 phones under me.
I purchased the Iphone 5 under my number with the AppleCare. Unfortunately a few months later I wanted another phone. I switched the Iphone 5's phone number to another family member.
Did I lose the AppleCare at that point?
Now this family member with the Iphone 5 wants another phone, and we want to give the Iphone 5 to another family member.
Question: Is there a possibility I still have the AppleCare (I did not call Apple at the time) and can cancel the AppleCare and get it prorated since I made one transfer which the Terms state one can do? Like most people, I didn't read the Terms. =(

The AppleCare stays with the hardware, not the phone number.

Outbound delivery creation in case of stock transfer scheduling agreement.

Dear All,
We are creating the Scheduling Agreement for the stock transfer between the 2 plants .
and for the stock transfer we are following the outbound delivery route (641 movement type)
Issue is as below:-
suppose in the scheduling Agreement I have given the schedule starting from 1/12/2009 to 10/12/2009 . so while doing VL10B ,
1. ) System creates one outbound delivery by clubing the qty from date 1/12/2009 to todays date.
2.) and createds 5 more outbound deliveries 1 for each date after 5/12/2009 starting from 06/12/2009 to 10/12/2009
But the system should not create the OBD for the future date schedule.
What needs to be done.

AppleCare agreement registration for my iMac

I bought my new iMac retina and AppleCare. But that was failed during the AppleCare registration for the iMac on step 2 to show the agreement,
below error msg I was got. Please let me know how to do. I had tried over 10 times in different date, and got the same error.
I was selected the location is Macau. And I think Apple was missed to update the T&C to cause this error.
