Transfering pictures in camera roll to Dropbox

How do I transfer pictures in camera roll into Dropbox

You need to use the DropBox app on the iPad.
Launch DropBox and then tap the DropBox logo in the lower left corner. Tap the folder that you want to upload to. Then tap the + sign in the upper left corner of the screen. Tap Upload Here, a window will popup with your photos in it. Tap the camera roll album. Tap on the photos that you want to upload and then tap Upload at the top of the window.

  • Transferring picture on camera roll to macbook pro

I did a search on here and couldnt find anything about this so could anyone tell me the easiest way to get a picture in my camera roll on my iphone to my macbook pro so I can print it off? Thank you in advance for your help.

The same way you would with any digital camera.
Import from whatever photo management program you use (i.e. photoshop, iphoto, camera and scanner wizard, image capture).

  • How can I put selected pictures from camera roll into a seperate album removing them completly from camera roll??

Im gunna be straight up honest here.. I have some rude pictures of my girlfriend on my iphone which I would like to keep for my own personal viewing but obviously dont want family and friends seeing when they are flicking threw my camera album which often happens. I had intended to make a private album put them all in there and put a passcode on the album. With all of apples features I would of thought this would be a standard thing you could do, however when I made the private album the pictures were still in my camera roll and if I try to delete them I am told the pictures will be removed completly from my phone.. This is stupid. What is the point in being able to make albums if the pictures are going to still all be in the camera roll!? Does anybody know of a way I can move pictures from camera roll to a private album?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Photos placed in a user created album or in an existing album are not copied/duplicated. The photos placed in an album include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Camera Roll. Having an album for select photos is for viewing the select photos only without having to see all photos in the Camera Roll.
The same applies to albums transferred from your computer. All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the Photo Library. Photos on the albums below include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. The photos appear as they are duplicated when they are not. This way you can view the photos in an album only by selecting the album, or all photos on the Photo Library or Camera Roll by selecting it.

  • Is there away to save the pictures on Camera Roll into an Album?

How do I move the Pictures from Camera Roll to a designated album?

Import the photos with your computer as with any other digital camera. Organize the photos into albums or folders on your computer as with other photos on your computer followed by transferring the albums or folders to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process.

  • Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files?

Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files? I just want to view / delete files without importing them.
For instance I have 1200 photos on my iPhone Camera Roll. Some of these are shots, that I've taken multiple times, some good, some bad. I just want to clean up my Camera Roll, but going through the pictures on the iPhone's small screen is tedious. I'd much rather look at the camera roll's photo's on my Mac, and then decide which files I'd like to keep, and which to delete.
I don't want to import the files, as when I import the files, and delete them from Camera Roll, now the Photo's are not on my phone, and the only way to get them back on my Phone is to Import them back in using iTunes, and then they go into the Picture Library and not the Camera Roll.
In the same way as I can view Pics from my digital camera's SD card on a Mac without having to actually copy them to my computer, is there any app out there that will let me view my iPhone pics without importing them.

    The short answer is yes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
    Open Image Capture application.
Click on the 4 little squares at bottom to view them as photos, not a list.
Select the photos them click the No Entry icon at bottom to delete.

how can i delete a picture in camera roll without deleting everywhere

You can't, when you 'copy' a photo into an album that you've created directly on the iPad then you are effectively just creating a pointer to the photo and not creating a second copy of it - so if you then delete the original photo from your iPad you will also be deleting all pointers to it and therefore removing it from other albums.

  • HT201302 How to delete all pictures in Camera Roll at once?

How to delete all pictures in Camera Roll at once?

It's so easy on a Mac - open Image Capture utility, conect iPhone and then you see all the pictures and videos, just arrange them and delete what you wish. I just recovered 13GB on my iPhone...
It would be useful to import them beforehand if needed:)

  • My phone recently fell In water and won't turn on I had my ICloud on.Will my pictures in camera roll and photo stream come back?

My phone recently fell In water and won't turn on I had my ICloud on.Will my pictures in came roll and photo stream come back?

Photos in the camera roll are included in your backup and should be recovered by restoring the backup to a replacement phone.  Photo stream photos remain in iCloud for 30 days.  When you reconnect to photo stream you will get back any photo stream photos from the last 30 days.

  • Will the Iphone thieves get access to transfer my pictures in Camera Roll to any other devices?

My Iphone was stolen 5 days ago. In that day, after missing for an hour, I turned on Find My Iphone on my laptop and set Erase Device. But until now it still appears Offline and the Erase Device is still pending (waiting for Iphone to connected to the internet).
I remember I turned on Find My Iphone on device's Icloud settings, but not on Locations.
The problem is, I put a sensitive pictures of me in that iPhone Camera Roll right before it was stollen.
I'm okay with the lost iPhone, I just want the device to erase every data in it.
I put a Lock Screen, but the passcode is really easy (The thief might find it). I hadn't set the erase all the data after 10 failed passcode attempts.
Would you help me to explain whether the Iphone's thief has a chance to transfer my pictures in Camera Roll to any other devices?
    -thank you-

Did you restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup, or as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup?
Sounds like you did the former since photos in your iPhone's camera roll are included with your iPhone's backup. If there is a problem with these photos included with your iPhone's backup that were restored from your iPhone's backup, or another problem with your iPhone's backup, restoring from your iPhone's backup will restore the problem.
Try restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup.

  • I sent a picture from camera roll to my computer over 12 hours ago and it hasn't arrived what can I do?

I sent a picture from camera roll to my computer over 12 hours ago and it hasn't been received.  Since then, I've tried to send smaller ones to my computer and they have not arrived either.  Is there a queue I need to go into to delete the first picture that may be holding everything else up?  Or what can I do to unblock this feature?

  • Add picture from camera roll to existing album?

I have created albums and want to add more pictures from camera roll.  How to do that?

If you want to add them to albums that you've created directly on the iPad then go into the album that you want to add the photos to, tap the icon at the top right of the screen that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it, and you should then get an option next to that icon to 'Add Photos'.
If you want to add photos to albums that you synced from your computer then you'll need to copy the photos to your computer, add them to the folders that the albums came from, and then re-sync

How do I down load pictures from Camera Roll on my iPhone to my Mac Pro that were taken prior to iCloud?

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. This was the same prior to photo streaming with iCloud and remains the same since.
With a Mac, you can use iPhoto for the import which also supports iCloud photo streaming, or the Image Capture application.

  • Iphone 5 not sending pictures via camera roll.

If I create a message and select a picture from the message draft it works fine. But if I select a picture from camera roll and try to share via message it does not work. Any insight?

I had the same problem and there's an easy solution to it. Press and hold the power button at the top of your phone, then select "Power Off". Leave the phone off for a few minutes. At least 3 or 4. Once you turn your phone back on, try it again. I have a 5s, and this worked for me.
