Translate activeSync to globals

Guys,
I'm running IMD 5.0 SP4 and have a create workflow that creates users based on SAP HR activeSync data. This create workflow is provisioning users and has an 'approval' step for managers afterwards to initial create anymore resources on the user. For some reason, at the approval point in the workflow, the user view doesn't own the activeSync attributes anymore so when creating new accounts for a user, it misses critical information.
Is there anyway to keep the activeSync attribute values 'alive' during the whole create workflow? (e.g. if you could reference them by global.<attribute>)
Anyway to accomplish this?
Any help appreciated as we are approaching testphase in one week!
Elger

The strange thing is however, if I create a user through a custom user form instead of letting the activeSync create a user by exact the same workflow, it is keeping the globals through the entire workflow.
Does anyone know exactly what the problem is of the exact difference. If so, please let me know.
I posted a question like this before but unfortunately no answer. The thread was: http://swforum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?forumID=143&threadID=53999
Thanks all!

  • Can we test a Field in the activeSync Form

    Hi All,
Can we test a field in the activesync form.
I have created different fields in activesync form.
I wanted to test what data is coming and how activesync input form is handling the data and processing it.
I just had a look at the class files which are calling the activesync form but what i could understand is They are creating a query based on the schema map and the search predicate.
But when it comes to input form I wanted to know what data is coming and how the input form and the resource compares.
Can any one Please clarify this things will be greatful.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hey,
actually there are three generic objects filled for every record that is pulled from chang log when active sync polls.
These are activesync objet global object,IAPI. What you could do is enable logging in the active sync configuration and tail the file, you can see how the active sync adapter gets data fro change log ane what are changes.
    Thanks,

  • Configuring Global Currencies in BI Apps 7.9.6 for EBS 11.5.10 Source

    Hi All,
After reviewing the Configuring Common Areas and Dimensions section of the Oracle BI Applications document [Oracle Business Intelligence Applications Configuration Guide for Informatica PowerCenter Users Version 7.9.6 E14216-01|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14223_01/bia.796/e14216.pdf] I have a question regarding section +3.1.2 How to Configure Global Currencies+.
    Background
OLTP Source: Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10
    OBI Apps: Financial Analytics 7.9.6
We have 49 enabled Currencies and multiple Sets of Books (SOBs) each with a different Functional Currency and I am concerned with the limitations of the Global Currencies configuration within OBI Apps. From the documentation it states that:
Global currencies. Oracle BI Applications provides three global currencies, which are the common currencies used by the Oracle Business Analytics Warehouse. I'm keen to know if the 3 standard Global Currencies can be extended by adding further custom parameters in the Source System Parameters e.g. $$GLOBAL4_CURR_CODE, $$GLOBAL5_CURR_CODE, etc. and corresponding Exchange Rate parameters $$GLOBAL4_RATE_TYPE, etc.
From the documentation definition of Document, Local and Global currencies, the following configuration for the Global currencies does not make much sense:
    $$GLOBAL1_CURR_CODE (for the document currency).
    $$GLOBAL2_CURR_CODE (for the local currency).
$$GLOBAL3_CURR_CODE (for the global currency).Presumably these should be the 3 standard Global Currency definitions. If so, I want to confirm that the Document and Local currencies get picked up automatically depending on your EBS configuration?
Thanks for your time, all input greatly appreciated... and points duly awarded :-)
    Have a great day.
    Kind Regards,
    Gary.

    Hi,
The 3 Global currency codes are different from functional , local currency.
All the transactions are brought into the warehouse and there is no limitation to the number of currencies that can be brought in but for reporting purpose you want to convert all these transactions in multiple currencies to a single currency ...lets say US$ and at a monthly rate or GBP at a spot rate etc..
So in a nutshell the document and local currenclies do come in and there is no configuration needed but translation to a global reporting currency and the rates at which its converted is determined by what you provide in DAC.. the conversion is done by mplt_currency_conversion which is present in each and every fact mapping.

  • IdmManager doesnt show up in activesync view

    Hello,
I am trying to activesync users from a database activesync and i have a idmManager mapped to some columns in database table in resource schema. For some reason, idmManager doesnt show up in activeSync or global view during activesync. If i change the name from idmManager to something else, it shows up in the view. anyone know a workaround for this? or know why this is happening
    thx

Have you ran this through the debugger to see which variables are available to you and what their values are?
The BPE has a built-in debugger, or I think the newer 7.x releases have a NetBeans plug in for both the BPE replacement and debugger.

  • CISCO ASA-5505 - Is it hindering our Internet service?

I'm responsible for a small network (300 wired/ 500-600 wireless smart devices) in a High School.  We're running a couple of Windows 2008 servers.  We have very few network applications and a 10MG Ethernet line for internet.  Typically on we're getting 6 mg on upload and 1 or 2 on download.  I'm wondering if the Cisco could be better configured to give us higher speeds, taking full advantage of our 10 mg line.
I have attached our current config.   Being a novice, I have tried a few changes to the configuration, assigning each of the 7 circuits to inside or outside.
But I could use an experts opinion.    We are a school environment, so classrooms will typically stream videos, surf internet,  not extensive uploading , but it is getting more and more necessary as teachers update their web sites.
Before I go in and say we need more bandwidth, I'd like to feel confident that the router is doing all it can.   Thanks for taking the time..
I have attached the current config:

The payload option commonly used to perform NAT, between devices on overlapping networks that share the same IP address. For example, when an outside device sends a DNS query to 172.16.5.13, in order to reach an inside device 172.16.2.13, the local address inside the payload of the DNS reply is translated to a global address according to the relevant NAT rule.
Perhaps, the Cisco's DNS Doctoring method would work fine for you.

  • Help understaning NAT table for SIP

    Hi Folks,
I've been battling SIP and NAT for nearly 3 months now   I've got to the point where I think I may well have found a bug in IOS.  Incoming calls are not getting to my CME, outbound calls are fine.  The sip-ua is registered fine.
    2611xm-1#show sip-ua register status
    Line                              peer        expires(sec)  registered
    ================================  ==========  ============  ==========
    01xxxxx8882                       -1          86            yes
Without a static route, the NAT translation table on the 877 that connects to the internet looks like this:
    877va-1#show ip nat translations
Pro Inside global      Inside local       Outside local      Outside global
    udp 82.70.85.118:1024  192.168.1.254:5060 212.23.7.228:5060  212.23.7.228:5060
No incoming calls come through, but looking at the table, I understand why as the ITSP is routing calls to ports 5060, not 1024.
    With this static route:
ip nat inside source static udp 192.168.1.254 5060 82.70.85.118 5060 extendable
    The table looks like this:
    877va-1#show ip nat translations
Pro Inside global      Inside local       Outside local      Outside global
    udp 82.70.85.118:5060  192.168.1.254:5060 212.23.7.228:5060  212.23.7.228:5060
    udp 82.70.85.118:5060  192.168.1.254:5060 ---                ---
Incoming calls come through, which makes sense as the port is now open!
If I delete the static route, clear the translation table and re-register the sip-ua the table looks like this:
    877va-1#show ip nat translations
Pro Inside global      Inside local       Outside local      Outside global
    udp 82.70.85.118:5060  192.168.1.254:5060 212.23.7.228:5060  212.23.7.228:5060
Calls come through for around 12 hours (probably until something times out and the sip-ua re-registers to the first scenario on port 1024).
Why is the 877 setting up the translation to port 1024 - what can I do to fix this?
    My 877 settings are:
no ip nat service sip udp port 5060
ip nat inside source list 1 interface Dialer1 overload
    ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Dialer1
    ip route 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.254
    My CME SIP settings are:
    sip-ua
credentials username 01xxxxx8882 password xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx realm voip.zen.co.uk
authentication username 01xxxxx8882 password 7 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    nat symmetric role active
    nat symmetric check-media-src
    retry invite 3
    retry register 10
    timers register 150
    registrar dns:voip.zen.co.uk expires 120
    sip-server dns:voip.zen.co.uk
    connection-reuse
      host-registrar
    permit hostname dns:voip.zen.co.uk
    permit hostname dns:asterisk01.voip.zen.co.uk
    permit hostname dns:asterisk02.voip.zen.co.uk

    Thanks fo thre reply Daniele.
IOS is 15.3(3)M, but I've updated this today from an ealier version hoping to fix the problem.
    If I do the following:
    877va-1#show ip nat translations | include 5060
    udp 82.70.85.118:1029  192.168.1.254:5060 212.23.7.228:5060  212.23.7.228:5060
    877va-1#clear ip nat trans
    877va-1#clear ip nat translation *
    877va-1#clear ip nat statistics
Then on the CME box, re-register the sip-ua.
    877va-1#show ip nat translations | include 5060
    udp 82.70.85.118:1030  192.168.1.254:5060 212.23.7.228:5060  212.23.7.228:5060
It takes the next port.  Its never using 5060 in the first place from what I can tell

  • Port forwarding for the Web server for outside Internet (not working , help!!!!!!)

    Hello
I am trying to learn something new here. We have web server inside our organization its IP address is 172.16.0.35. We want outside Internet users to access web server, How is it possible? Please have a look at the running configuration. Web server is working inside the organization but not at outside. Our Static Public IP is 197.255.232.15 it is assigned to Inetrface Gigabit ATM0.1  and ISP default GW is 197.255.232.1. Let me know whats next? How do I make web server inside the organization available for outside Internet users. Thank you.

  • How to open a DWG file with AutoCAD options (AppleScript)?

    Hi,
I'm looking for help specifying the AutoCAD options when opening DWG files.  I have DWG files of floor plans that I always want to open at the same scale.
I can successfully open a DWG file with the default options using:
open POSIX file "/Users/crmckinnon/Desktop/cabin_floor_plan.dwg" as alias without dialogs
But I don't want the default options, so if I try to specify them:
open POSIX file "/Users/crmckinnon/Desktop/cabin_floor_plan.dwg" as alias with options {class:AutoCAD options, scale unit:"autocad inches"} without dialogs
I get a "Can't find alias" error.  How do I specify the AutoCAD options?  I'm sure this is due to my lack of understanding of AppleScript.  Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Chris

I'll answer my own question.  Here's how I specified the options:
open POSIX file filePath as alias with options {pGSO:original size, pASU:inches, pASR:12.0 / 0.1875} without dialogs
I had to look in the Apple Script dictionary to get the "codes" to use.  The variable names didn't work.  I think that's because some have "global" in the name which is a keyword in Apple Script.  Here's what the codes translate to:
    pGSO = "global scale options"
    pASU = "scale unit"
    pASR = "scale ratio"
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Policy based nat - can't get it right...

    Hi out there
I need to implement some policy based nat to hide a DMZ network on a site - to avoid routing problems. This should also be faily simple by defining a route-map and then looping the traffic around a loopback-interface which is defined as outside nat.
I define the LAN interface as inside - assign the route-map policy to it and loop the traffic around the loopback interface to get it nat'ed.
this also works - to some extend. The traffic is correctly natted and the traffic send out of the wan interface ( f0/1) - the remote site replies and sends the traffic back - and when it then enters my R2 router - it is dropped ????
I have ran out of ideas - please try to take a look - here is the config of R2 (I issue my test from R1 which is 80.0.0.1 and has a source-interface for 192.168.10.1)

the easiest way is constructing your menu with frame labels
now i have no way of knowing how you are constructing it ..so
this may not work for you ...i assume that you have created a main
button ...that has been converted into a symbol & then
duplicated to create all other buttons
okay here it goes ..i hope i dont confuse you
i will explain how to create 1 button with 4 submenu items
with the trems that i mentioned above
but iam not going to explain all the details of creating a
    whole nav bar
because it just takes too much typing ...i assume you already
    know this
sooo ! ...lets say this is the Portfoio button ...inside the
    symbol now
create 8 layers ...the order is going from top to bottom
    actions
    labels
    submenu Logos
    submenu Illustration
    submenu Animation
submenu Coolstuff ."you will name your button items how you
    like" ...
main button....lets just say Portfolio !
    invisible btn for main button
so now on with the hard stuff
create 20 frames ...stop action on frame 1 ...frame 9
    ...frame 20
on the labels layer now ....name frame1 "Closed" ...frame 10
    "Open"
on the submenu Logos layer ...create a keyframe on frame 10
all frames before the 10th frame will be blank frames
repeat that for the rest of the submenu items
on the main button layer you will just place the main
    Portfolio button on frame 1
& on the invisible button layer ..the inv btn is going to
    be placed on frame 10
all this is iam hoping your have converted everything into1
    symbol
all you need to do know is attach code to the main Portfolio
    button & the invisible button
so click on the Portfolio button
    on (rollOver) {
    gotoAndStop("open");
    invisible button
    on (rollOver){
    gotoAndPlay("closed");
& that should be good ...very simple !
then just repeat this process for every button that makes up
your nav bar ....& it doesn't matter if your inv buttons
overlap each other or your main nav buttons are touching each other
    peace John

  • AV works for me, except with this ONE friend... same thing for him.

I can AV chat with everyone on my buddy list (I use AIM on a Macbook Pro), but when I try to AV chat with this one friend (who has the exact same laptop as I do), it fails to connect. He can also AV chat with everyone else on his buddy list... I've searched the net and found other people with this same problem but no solutions yet. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

It may be the way the individual Modems or routers that are involved do NAT.
NAT (Network Address Translation) is a global term for various ways of achien=ving the same thing.
Some devices don't "Play Nicely" together.
One option is to use UPnP if the devices have it to open the ports

  • Load balancing using GLBP

    Dear All,
I need to built a scenario where i am using two ISP's for redundancy for my internal network and at the same time wants to load balance in such a way that my first packet going outside the network (using NAT) goes from first ISP's public ip address and second packet going outside the network (using NAT) goes from second ISP's public ip address.
    Need your help
    Thank You

    Hello
I tried to lab this up - I managed to use a first hop protocol (hrsp) to a redundant HRSP & NAT configuration - however I have tried GLBP and at present not been successful in getting it to work-

  • Dynamic Source NAT for multiple POOLS

I am setting up Dynamic Source NAT with a few Pools and Access-list to translate according to the Access-list. However when configure some ACL don't work anything. And the ACL don't "match" any. I know that the correct way would be to apply the ACL about interface with "ip access-group <ACL-name> in/out" however in this case would be impossible to apply more one ACL with ip access-group command.
FurthermoreI have tested to creating a route-map named TEST with all ACLs; but cannot to create all "ip nat inside source route-map... " with the same route-map name. Also checked the cisco example: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/network-address-translation-nat/13739-nat-routemap.html...
    Attach the all configurations.
    I  need your help,
    Thanks in advance!

Oh my God!! Already works fine! I hadn't thought that "log"  would be a painful
    Thanks John Marshall!

Furthermore we can to check the "rotary option also works!"

  • OBIEE11g, BI Apps 7.9.6 for EBS - Consignment Inventory Report details

    Hi,
If anyone worked on BI Apps for EBS, can you please tell me the details of Consignment Inventory Report?
I need to know the columns names and how calculations done on Consignment Inventory Report.
Any information on this will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
The 3 Global currency codes are different from functional , local currency.

  • Problem with Resource Module loading

I'm trying to localize using loadable resource modules. I'm
following the FlightReservation2 example where the resource module
is specified in the html FlashVars attribute. I can successfully
run the FlightReservation2 demo but when I run my project, using
the same settings, I get the following exception. I build using
mxmlc using the same command line as the FlightReservations2 demo.
    Any ideas?

Are you using LCDS? I think there is an incompatibility
between current builds of Flex and LCDS which will get
    fixed.
