Transport for structure creation

Hi All ,
we have two clients 100 and 110 ,
the config client is 100 ,
I have mistakenly created a three structures in 110 creating a transport in 110 .
these below were objects created under that transport in 110 after creation .
Table Definition
      ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV2
     ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV3
     ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV4
Table
     ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV2
     ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV3
     ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV4
Now I have been asked to create a transport in 100 for them , I deleted the transport in 110 and made changes to structures in 100 which created a transport for these in 100 .
the objects created in 100 now are
Table Definition
      ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV2
     ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV3
     ZSD_PWR_RECOVERY_REPORT_ALV4
and do not have objects for table .
I want make sure this will not effect the transportation of request to QA.which should actaully create three new structures there .

when I created them in 110 (not the desired the client ) it has created in 100 as well as same system they are client indep)after deleting the transports in 110 , I made changes to structures in 100(which is desired client) and created transport there.

I think when we create a table the transport have objects for "Table defination" and "table" , when we just make change to table it will onli the transport have onli object "Table defination" .
Now I have a doubt that this new transport which does nt have "table" objects and has only "table defination" will succesfully create table in QA when moved .

Appologies if you saw this message on Friday, because I did originally post it under the general area. I was hoping that if I re-posted it under this area I might get a few more responses. I am trying to set up the organizational structure in our SRM 7.0 system using our ECC 6 organizational structure. I have created all the required distribution models for SRM and ECC 6, and have set up the switch settings in SRM. The number range settings have been set to external.
As per OSS Note 36317, which concentrates on the initial distribution, and I am working through, I have run PFAL in ECC 6 only for object type O. The HRMD_ABA idocs have been successfully transferred to our SRM system, but all are at status 52.
The message for all the idoc segments is:
'You tried to create a relationship from object 01O 50000333 to object 01S 50000846. However, object 01S 50000846 does not exist or is not active in the period from 19000101 to 99991231'.
One thing I haven't done, which might be incorrect, is create an Organizational Plan in SRM. I specifically haven't done this because I am wanting to use external numbering, and therefore thought the organizational plan would get automatically created as part of the initial distribution.
Does any one have any idea how to resolve my problem?

Hello Claire,
It looks like you are replicating "S". After the "O" replication you should run the "S".

I intend to replicate 'S', as described in the note, but nothing has been created with my initial replication of 'O'. As per the note 363187 you are supposed to distribute type 'O' first before moving on to 'S'. Is there anything really fundamental I have missed that you are supposed to do in SRM either before or after the initial set of idocs for type 'O' are brought in?
I have also read the other 2 notes you mention.
Note 363187 stated:
'Perform the following steps in the sequence given if the target system is a
mySAP.com system (SEM, CRM, BBP/EBP):
1. If you want to use the change pointers for later changes, activate
them at once. During initial transport, you should not maintain the
data in parallel in HR because the distribution takes the blocking

transport.

BAPI for ARTICLE creation in IS-Retail

I am creating an Article using BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT by passing below parameters for Basic view.
1.material type
2.merchandise category
3.material category
4.description
5.uom
6.transportation grp
7.loading grp.
8.valuation class
9.tax class
Also marked X in respective places in structures clientdatax,plantdatax,headdatax etc.
Anyhow still it showing errors like "key field of table MARA missing"
I am able to create article from MM41 using above 9 fields.
What fields shd be passed to this BAPI to create an ARTICLE?
OR ANY OTHER BAPI/RFC FM EXIST TO CREATE ARTICLE?
Please help me in this regard.

I have to call BAPI for Article creation from Portal front end.
so I cant use BAPI_RETAILMATERIAL_CREATE as it goes to MM41 when we execute.
So I am using BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT to create article.
I passed all mandatory data which is required to create a article with basic view.
Using MM41, I am able to create but with this BAPI iam unable to create article.
Could you please tell me what are the required parameters to be passed in addition to my fields which I specified below:
I passed
HEADDATA--material type,merch.category, material category,basic view marked x.
MATERIAL DESC--material description
CLIENT DATA--uom,transportation grp, tax class
CLIENTDATAX---marked X in above fields
PLANTDATA-loading grp
PLANTDATAX-marked x for above field
ADDL CLIENTDATA--valuation class
ADDLCLIENTDATAX--marked X for v class

First to transfer an organistion
u need to create the organistation if possible with positions, jobs users assigned to it.
create logical systems similar to any other idoc transfer, with messafe type hrmd_a for systems <=4.6 and hrmd_aba for systems >4.6
u need to mention all the infotypes in the filter of the model view controller, if u miss any one type the data related to that type will not be transfered for an employee
u need to transfer organisation with appropriate plan , object type, and its id, when u transfer an organisation if it has postions jobs and users assigned to it all the data is not transfered except the structure of organisation. if u need to fill these details u need to transfer postions , employees in the sequence u followed while creation

User exit for delivery creation in VL10B/VL10G-

Hi,
Is there any exits available for restricting the document type while the deliveries are selected/processed using VL10B/VL10G - delivery creation in background.
Scenario is when deliveries are created for STO's,the delivery is to be created for a selected document types(EKKO - BSART).Other types of document types have to be ignored when the delivery is created in background.

You handle this through configuration while setting up Stock Transport Orders in MM.
Path: IMG/Materials Management/Purchasing/Purchase Order/Set up Stock Transport Order/Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule
Here you a Delivery type for a combination of Plant and PO type. So those PO types which you don't want to be included for delivery creation will not figure in this assignment. I don't think you should go down the user exit route.
If you still need to explore user exits, look at OSS note 198137 for a list and purpose of VL10X based exits.

Transport Org Structure without Org Data

Hello HR experts,
I have a simple org structure - one org unit, one postion and 4 users assigned to that position in Dev client.
How do I transport this request to Q without re-creating it?
Also, When we transport this, by default, does it carry the data (meaning do I see the same users in Q. if so, how do I avoid this).

You will these useful.
1. Note 995771 - System Landscape Copy for SAP SRM 4.0 and 5.0
2. Within SRM5 you can transport a structure using the report RHMOVE30. This will generate a customizing task. In the selection screen select your root node in the object field and EBP-DOWN as evaluation path.
After the transport in the target system, you need to convert the attributes in reference to a logical system with report rhom_attribute_replace and transaction BDLS.

Exit for PR creation

Hi,
The requirement is as below
We have added some zfields in shopping cart at item level.
These fields are transferred to R/3 and hence the z field data comes in the customer data tab of the PR.
Now, there needs to be one special condition checked. If one of the field is X -> mark the item as deleted
ie
if zfield1 = 'X' -> loekz = 'X'
I have used MEREQ001 for getting the zfields data in PR. I am getting all this data in PR.
But when I used the check if zfield1 = 'X' -> loekz = 'X' in this exit, deletion indicator is not set.
Can anyone please provide some exit for PR creation which can help to update the standard field based on the value of zfield at item level.

Valid Size not available for this Creation (Greeting card only) - Elements 10 for Mac

I purchased Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements 10 for my MAC and am getting "VALID SIZE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS CREATION" when I try to create a GREETING CARD only. All other options in CREATE work.
I have read other forums on here and have tried everything they have said and it still does not work. I have tried:
opt, cmd and shift to delete preferences
uninstalled and reinstalled
performed updates on both my MAC and the program
Can anyone PLEASE suggest other solutions to this problem? Perhaps I am doing something wrong. Thanks!

Hi - My file structure is somewhat different than the file structure that you describe in the first part of your note (My system is Windows XP with Service Pack 3). This is what my file structure looks like:
    C:/Program Files/Adobe/Elements 10 Organizer/locales/en_US
         >application_swfs
         >Plug-Ins
         >Suppport Files
No Creation Graphics folder, no Kodak Gallery Folder, no files with the name E9_preview_photocard_1(or2).jpg.
I perfromed a hard drive search on filename E9_preview_photocard* and found these files under:
     C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Locale\en_us\CreationGraphics\local
I performed a hard drive search on Kodak Gallery and found the file under:
     C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Locale\en_us\CreationGraphics\Kodak Gallery
This Kodak Gallery folder contains 10 files, 2 of which appear to be related to Greeting Cards. These are 5x7_adobe_folded_cards and 5x7_adobe_folded_cards_zoom
Regarding the 235x120 greeting files, I search and found these under
     C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Photo Creations\photo layouts

yeah u can do it , but this is purely BASIS job.
first u have to create transport request for this changes in IDES , then u have to get the Cofile and data file of this Transport Request , then these files u have to IMPORT to ur DEV server .
which can be done thru FTP , so dont try if u are not sure.

0KEQ - transport for Profit Center Master Data

I have created a transport for transferring Profit Centers from our source client to move to client for unti test and QA. All changes come through but the PCs that are deleted in source client are still in the target clients after the application of the transport.
Any help from the community, why so? and if there is additional activity needed at the time of creation of the transport to effect deletions in the target clients.

It seems that there is an inconsistency in target system/source system.
Please Go to T-code: KCH6N and using the following menu path to check and correct the
inconsistency in source system and target system.
T-code:KCH6N
MENU =>Extras -> Ambiguity Check
MENU=>Extras -> Hierarchy master data -> Test
and afterwards go to MENU=>Extras -> Hierarchy master data -> Comparison
If the inconsistency can not be corrected in Target system, you need to make sure that there is no
inconsistency in source system. After that you can re-transport the profi centers to target system.
Please also refere to SAP note 1595018.

BAPI:BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2 for TLane creation is giving error

I am executing BAPI:BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2 for TLane creation. when i am passing required values like , location from , Location to, model, version, lot size , etc.
After executing the BAPI is returning that ''Entry was not processed because there is no changing parameter available''. Can any one experienced this before. As i am creating a new TLane, why this error should come???

Best way to check the parameter list is ,use the bapi BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_GETLIST (SCM 4.0) or similar available in 5.0 to read the existing transportation lanes successfully created in system.Check all the parameters and update similar parameters for BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2.
Ofcourse then you can come to exact parameters functionally important to you by trial and error.
Otherwise you can use the APO loader tool to create the transportation lanes.Although SAP discourages to use it in the production system , for testing it is fine.Please check the FAQ note 551972.

In addition he quotes that "he would like the list to be in the same order that it needs to be imported into the QAS box". I do not know how to build this list. Execute T Code SE10 check (tick) the checkboxes customizing requests, workbench requests and Modifiable and hit Enter to see all your transport requests that are not yet released/exported into the target system. Second part of your question is a little tough - you should maintain sequence of transports are you are creating and using them during configuration phase. How many transports are we talking about? If you have to sequence them now, you can rely on the description of the request (assuming that they are meaningful) and sequence them according to the logical sequence of activities you have performed. For example, creation of company code first, then its assignment to controlling area, to chart of accounts etc.

BP is BDT (Business Data toolset) enabled (you can check it by adding break point in FM BUS_PBO and executing BP transaction). You can add your check directly to standard view (the check will be executed each time when user pushes enter) or you could add you check to appropriate action (during saving etc.) there are number of actions which you could use it depends on your requirements. You can find a lot of info about BDT (if you are not familiar) in Wiki.
