Treasury Cash Managment

Hello All,
I have activated Standard Business Content for Treasury Cash Management  using Extractor 0TR_CM_1.  The business owners like what they see however, there is no cumulative balance and therefore the Reports do not have much meaning to them.
What do I need to do in order to get beginning balances in the cube so I can create a cumulative balance Key Figure.
Any help is appreciated.
MK

Hi,
You can calculate a Year-till-date figure at a Query level. The datasource carries Amount as a key figure and calendar year/month as time characteristic.
At a query level, you can restrict key figure 'Amount' to a value range for time characteristic 'calendar/year month' - you can then hardcode the 'from value' as the beginning month/year ( for e.g. 1.2005 ) and set the 'to value' to a variable which the user has to key in. This way cumulative value will be computed dynamically.
Hope this helps.

can any one plz... let me know in the simple words about the  integration part of Treasury with the other areas like Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting, & Asset accounting
Early respone will be Highly appreciated
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
Well, you have almost done the required configurtion for cash management.  Cash management is about reports on cash position & liquidity forecast which is integrated with GL, AP, AR and as well as Treasury (Transaction Manager).  Once you have complemeted configuration you need to assign relevant planning levels and planning groups to GL, vendor, customer master data which will help you to pull reports on cash position & liquidity forecast.
Regarding treasury I suggest you to come up with your specific requirement to enable someone guide you precisely, though it is not possible to give all the detailed steps in this forum.  To throw more light on it, you are required to analise the client requirement on areas like, what kind of financial instruments they are dealing with (securities, money market, derivatives, loans, etc.) which can be integrated with cash management/liquidity forecast.  If you are talking about treasury & risk manager (transaction manager) the configuration is under FSCM (financial supply chain management) in ECC 6.0.  In previous versions it is part of CFM (Corporate Finance Management).
    Hope this will help you.
    thanks,
    Kumar

  • Treasury & Cash Management

Where can I find a good description of the difference between the Treasury and Cash Management modules.   I realize Cash Management is a sub module under Treasury.  Where is the functional dividing line and how do you determine implmeneting Cash Management without Treasury?

    Steve,
Cash Management is a sub-function of Treasury in any organization. Thus, if you implement Cash Management you are essentially implementing Treasury also.
The term Treasury is quiet wide and it can mean or refer to anything under the umbrella of Treasury. Even implementing Lockbox or Electronic Bank Statement is termed as Treasury function although from a strict SAP perspective it is part of Cash Management which itself is part of Treasury. My suggestion is to not get confused with the jargon. Look into the solutions which you need to solve your issues and go ahead with utilizing them.
I hope this helps you. Please go to this link below. You will find some interesting documentation although it related to 4.6C release.

  • Treasury - Cash Management 0TR-CM-1 logic for Data Source

    Hi all,
I am trying to understand how the value of the DATA_SOURC field in the extract structure FTI_BIW_CM in DS 0TR-CM-1 is populated. This value propagates to the InfoProvider (0TRCM_RC1) and standard content queries have a hard-coded restriction to a value of '2' The DS is returning values of 1 and 2 and I need to understand the implications of the two values. The help pages don't provide this information.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Extractor 0TR_CM_1 reads from table FDSB and FDSR. Not sure what could be
the reason for this code to avoid zero values. Please check with application
colleagues if zero values are allowed for this field in ECC system.
    Thanks,

  • Default Value Date in Cash management

    Hi experts!
I'm configuring Cash Management with document -Cash Management Germany (B46)
I  want to configure "Default Value Date" :IMG: Treasury --> Cash Management --> Basic Settings -->Define Value Date Default
But where I don't see Treasury?
    Please help me
    Thanks & reguards

In ECC 6. treasury is replaced by Financial supply chain management. You can default the date in the following path:
IMG - Financial supply chain management - cash and liquidity management - cash managment - Basic Settings -->Define Value Date Default

  • BW DataSource for Cash Management on SAP Simple Finance

    Hi All Experts,
In our project, we have installed SAP Simple Finance 1.0 add-on for SAP Business Suite on HANA which introduced plenty of new functionality especially on Finance Accounting and Cash Management.
The impact from Simple Finance is that, it seems existing standard data sources for Treasury - Cash Management don't work anymore, i.e. there is no transaction data. I believe it's because the change on source table inside SAP ERP.
We also already activated local BI contents on SAP ERP side (i.e. embedded BW) which allows reporting directly on top of SAP ERP Query. All data models here are VirtualProvider based on function modules. And data is there!
However, due to some limitation, we are not authorized to modify or customize those BW objects on SAP ERP. And meanwhile, we have got a requirement to extract Cash Management data from SAP ERP to dedicated SAP BW system (not direct reporting on SAP ERP). We encountered a problem that we cannot use the existing BI contents; and also cannot generate export data source from VirtualProvider in ERP to be used a source towards BW.
Is there any workaround or resolution to extract data from SAP ERP (Simple Finance installed) to SAP BW? Any suggest is appreciated. Thank you.
    Regards,
    Thanoos

if i understood this right you are willing to use some HANA Live views?
And you want to consume modified versions for these in the BW system?
I can find several links describing how to do so ....
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40d205ae-7407-3110-b6be-881c8f17bf3a?QuickLink=index&…

    Extending HANA Live Views
But these urls describe the way to extend/enhance 'view like' views i think.
How 'function module' views should be extended is something i have not seen/read before.
If the functionmodules point to HANA Calculation VIews maybe ..?
I reply to this thread to find out how this should be handled.

  • Treasury link to Cash Management

    Hi Experts
I am trying to link up treasury to cash management
I have done the customising in TR where we assign product type to planning levels (TP,TB etc), mark the update type as CM relevent and have activated the link to cash management via position management
However still, when i create a FD transaction using FTR_CREATE, it does not reflect in FF7A ( liquidity forecast)
Is there some other customising that needs to be done in CM or Liquidity forecast end?
Do i need to  add any GLs(like investment a/c) in the Structure groupings? Do i need to add planning level into the investment a/cs GL?
    Pl advice

    Hello Swami,
Are the cash mgmt settings done in SPRO as told in thread FF7A / FF7B Cash Mgt configuration

  • Drill down from Cash Management to SAP Treasury

    Hi
I am setting up SAP CM for a client running SAP ERP 6.0 release 603. We want to update SAP Treasury into SAP CM and have succeded in getting some expected cash flows into the cash position report from Treasury. The issue is however that when we want to drill down on the amount and expect to see the Treasury document (for documents where the posting did not reach due date yet), I get this error:
Planning level belongs to Treasury - no matching line items found - Message RQ147.
I can see that this was an issue years back and that SAP Notes corrected it at that time - but we are on the newest version so I cannot use those notes - but I still have the problem
Would be really grateful for an answer

    Experts,
FSCM : The Treasury u2013 Cash Management Integration.
I have been read the OSS note 93214. All the prerequisities are with the note but we are still getting problem.
    Error:
Level E0 belongs to Treasury. No matching line items found
    Message no. RQ147
The Planning Level ZZ is BNK and not assigned to any account.
The Planning Level Z1 is BNK and not assigned to any account.
The Planning Level E0 is BNK and assigned to Money Flow Accounts.
I try to various combination of those planning levels in configuration of V_T036V table. But none of them worked.
I run the FDFD many times but still it is not working. Please check the system and support us to solve this. We will planning to go alive at January but still we cannot have an TR u2013CM integrated system.
The table FDT1 is getting some values.
The table FDC1 is empty and not updating.
The System : SAP ECC 6.0
We tried FDFD Tcode, TRCC_SWITCH is marked up, we assigned the company codes to CM OT29, we assigned all flow types to relevant to CM
We have read the following notes; 97298, 332376, 384988. But fot the configuration side I think we are ok. But stil we are getting that error.

  • Error when assigning planning level in Treasury - Link to Cash Management

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I am trying to assign the planning level in FSCM (ECC6) using this configuration path Treasury & Risk Management->Transaction Manager-> General settings-->Link to cash management--->Assign Planning Level  - but when I tried to assign the combination of product type, status, level, bank known and unknown, I get the error message "Entry cocode 51A 10 does not exist in TZC37 ( check entry). I tried to find the maintenance dialog in SM30 for table TZC37, the IMG activities points to Loans > Company Code-Dependent Settings for Product Type.  But I am assigning MM, FX product type.  Has anyone encountered this problem?  Any help will be much appreciated.
    Thanks and regards,
    Jidji GM

    Hello,
Even I got the same issue when I was doing the configruation for "Assign Planning Levels" (FZFD) in TRM (Link to Cash Mgmt).
The easiest way to get rid of TZC37 Entry, do not enter anything in second column which is Status of data record (STA), system will automatically take the value as "0"
    Thanks - Imran.

  • SAP treasury and Cash management

    Hi friends,
Can someone send me some material, documents or web links for -- SAP FICO treasury and Cash management. It's urgent. Thank You.

  • Cash Management

    Hello All,
Would appreciate guidance wrt implementation of Cash Management.
We would be using LSMW for update our Master data with the Planning Groups / levels.
However, not aware of the Cash Management Implementation Tool and it's associated problems.
Our understanding of FDFD is (execute the following):
    - Activate Company Code,
    - Data setup - We don't intend using any of those expect FI-GL, FI-AR & FI-AP
    - Data Reconciliation - do we need this ? What parameters; only main Bank accounts?
    - Data Correction - do we need this ? when, only if there are errors
    - Customising - ok
    - Cust / Vend Data - not using this program, any impact?
The above is being implemented in ECC 6.environment (with FI being used). A heads up on the above would be highly appreciated, Thanking you in anticipation,
    Regards, Raj

    Hi,
Please go through the following documentation:
    Report for Dynpro: SAPMFFD1
    Description
Transaction FDFD was developed mainly as a tool to support
implementation of the cash management and forecast (CM&F). You can
activate the CM&F update for company codes; table settings are checked
as you do so. The planning groups needed for the CM&F updates can be
entered in vendor and customer master records, making partial/complete
reconstruction of the totals records easier.
The program consiss of five subareas which can be reached by means of
status buttons: 1. Activate company code
                        2. Vendor/customer data
                        3. Data setup
                        4. Data reconciliation
                        5. Data correction
    1.) Activate company code
When you activate a company code for CM&F, this makes it possible to
update planning data in money transactions relevant to planning. There
is a further indicator for the update from each of MM and SD which you
must set if you want the data from those areas to be passed to CM&F.
When you activate, all the table settings are check and, where
      necessary, carried out.
    2.) Vendor/customer data
You can use this function to include planning groups in the vendor/
customer master records. These planning groups are a necessary criterion
for recording open items in CM&F.
The lines in the table represent selection criteria for the various
groups. The logic used is as follows:
The priorities merely assign rankings. Priority 1 is the highest. The
system checks this criterion first. If the vendor/customer satisfies
this criterion, the group for this record is entered into the master
      record.
      Example :
Prio. Ctry Frm pymt trm To pymt term Dunn. Pymt mtd       Group        Pymt hist.
       1    US    ZB01              ZB05       0001    U             E1             X
       2    US                                                                       E2
       3                                                                                 OTHER
Vendors/customers who satisfy the criteria in line 1 are assigned
planning group E1 and the flag for recording the payment history is set.
All other customers in the US receive group 2; foreign customers are
    assigned group "OTHER":
To ensure that every master record is assigned a planning group, you
should always specify at least one structure (with lowest priority)
which a vendor/customer fits if no other is suitable.
You can use the "Check" button to determine the number of master records
to which no group has yet been assigned.
Use the menu option "Download/upload" menu option to store the selection
criteria locally and import them again later.
    ) Data Setup
In data setup, you can copy documents and open items, along with plan
records and account balances, already in the system into CM&F.
Here, you can stipulate whether the data setup should cover the data
from SD and MM, along with agency business or data from Treasury
    Management.
You run the transfer programs as background jobs, for which you can
enter a scheduled date and time. We recommend you schedule the job to
run at night because postings made during the data setup may lead to
    data inconsistencies in CM&F.
Note that the first step in the data setup deletes all the planning
    data.
In the case of data from manual planning (plan items, payment advice
notes), the system generates a special query because this data cannot be
retrieved once deleted. If you want to retain this data, answer "No" to
    the query.
    ) Data Reconciliation
A program is available to level the CM&F data which you can schedule
from here as a batch job. For more information, see the program
    documentation.
    ) Data Correction
If a data inconsistency occures between CM&F and the actual data, you
can use this option to avoid having to reconstruct all the data. The
reconstruction can be limited, depending on where the inconsistency
originated. For more information, see the program documentation.
    If useful, assign points.
    Thanks

  • Cash Management - does a current day bank statement feature available ?

My business uses the current day bank report downloaded from the bank (not the BAI format), for figuring out the projected cash outflows like cheques presented by suppliers in our bank.
They are planning to implement Cash Management shortly.
What feature in Cash Management will help them achieve this instead of having to go to their manual calculations from Excel files ?
We were hoping that the cash forecasting will help but looks like its only for the information already in the application like the validated supplier invoices and customer receipts based on the payment terms (AR and AP) but not based on what would happen in the bank based on the current day bank statements.
We do not know if the intra-day bank statements in BAI format will help us achieve this but we do not have Treasury module implemented.
    Please share your thoughts.

    Hi All,
How does one set opening balance of bank account in cash management -> cash position report?
Do we use the planning level in the GL master data? Or do we get this information from a current day file & load a memo record for that value?
    Thanks

  • Securities in Cash Management (Product Type 16A)

    Hello Experts
My client is investing in its subsidiaries and I am mapping this through the securities - product type 16A.
The process that I am following is -
    TS01 (order)>>TS03>>TS04>>TPM28
The problem is that I can only see the impact of the transaction in the cash management FF7B only after the TPM28 trasanction and not TS01 or TS03 0r TS04 - this is required though.
I have done the configuration under -
Financial Supply Chain Management>>Treasury and Risk Management>>Transaction Manager>>General Settings>>Link to Cash Management>>Assign Planning Levels/Specify Update Types for Cash Management (SE1000 update type has been made relevant to CM)
Have also checked the config point Define Company Code-Dependent Settings for the Product Type (under securities node)
Please let me know if this is possible.
    Regards
    Sandeep

    Hi
Have been able to solves some bit of the problem (the FD orders are appearing in the cash forecase). However I am not clear about the interest due - will it appear anywhere in the forecast (or can ths system be configured to reflect the same in the liquidity forecast).
Similarly the bonds issued will have the payments due on account of interest (can this be brought under Liquidity)
I am using the BNK key should I use the PSK key for such items.
Aalso I was reading in the SAP training materila that the planning group can be specified in the BP master (verbatim below) but i could not fing out where in the BO master it may be.
The update to Cash Management distinguishes between two cases:
    u2022 Option 1 (liquidity forecast):
If no payment details have been maintained in the transactions, that is, the
bank accounts are not known, the cash flow for a bank account or bank
clearing account cannot be displayed. To ensure that the cash flow appears
in Cash Management, the amount for subledger accounts is displayed. The
system then draws on the planning group specified in the master record for
    the business partner.
    u2022 Option 2 (cash position):
If payment details are specified in the transaction, that is, the bank accounts
are known, the cash flow appears in CM on the level assigned to the relevant
    bank bank (clearing) account.
Thanks for your time and valuable input.
    Best Compliments
    Sandeep

  • Cash management&cash flow

    dear all
can anybody suggest me what is configuration need for cash management&cash flow,is there any difference between fsv&cashflow.kindly give me reply.
    regards
    hanuman

    Hi
Cash Management is part of your Treasury configuration. You will have to define planning levels, cash management names, etc. for this purpose.
Cash flow is a report which you can meet through the standard one (direct/indirect one).
Financial statement version is required for your P&L/BalanceSheet reporting purposes which combines the GL Accounts under different areas.
Hope I have clarified to you,
    Regards
