Tree inside the table

Hi Experts,
I reffered the Webdynpro Standard application "SALV_WD_DEMO_TABLE_TREE" for tree inside the table.
But the application is mainly based on Component Usage. So I could not found where the actual Layout design was done.
I want to see the Layout designing for from the Application.
Can any one help me on this issue.
I hope i explained clearly about my requirement.

It would appear that unless you are working from a document that already had section breaks (or the equivilent) ,you can't. I have some files in pages that began as MS Word documents with multiple sections that allow that by tapping on the footer (or header) and making the change. Files created in Pages (or from other sources but without section beaks) do not.

Leadselection of the Tree in the Table

I have implemented a tree in the Table.
First only headers appear in the table; after that clicking on the header child node appears.
I need to capture the Header as well as child node according to leadselection.
Pls give me some code for that.

Error in SelectOneChoise inside the table when its atributes are updatable

I have a table in my page, this table is referenced with a VO. This table have a colunms with SelectOneChoise. The user select a item in that SelectOneChoise and click on "Save" Button, and my application make a update in table.
But a itens in this SelectOneChoise can change when the user changes a value on the other SelectOneChoise in page.
Example:
US: California / New York ( <- this is a SelectOneChoise with 2 itens [ California and New York ] )
Table
Id - People Name - City
1 - Ricky - [if California is selected, then show Cities of California, else show New York's Cities]
2 - Bianca - [if California is selected, then show Cities of California]
When the user change a value of SelectOneChoise of US, the Cities inside the table are updatable automatically.
My problema is:
When i update the citys in table, return that Error:

But, this only happens when a US has a smaller number of cities that the current.

The error only happens when the state that has fewer towns that chose the previous state.
For example:
Initially, the state chosen begins empty.
If the user selects the state 1 (with 5 cities)
OK, it works 5 cities is greater than 0
If the user selects the state 2 (with 8 cities)
OK, it works as 8 cities is greater than 5
If the user selects the state 3 (with 4 cities)
ERROR because 4 is less than 8 cities
That error i show in imagem above.

I’m sorry for the issue that you are hitting now.
This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

How to select multiple records from a TREE in the table

HI,
I have a tree structure which is in the table.When I open the node of the tree,all the subnodes are coming as one-one records in the table.I want to slect multiple record from this table.I applied onLeadSelect for this table,I can select only 1 record from the table.
Can any one plz suggest me how to select multiple records from the table so that I can get all the data of those selected record.

In my case, there is a table structure which has to be updated with values after validating a key. i don't think there is any RFC available now. do i need to create bapi/rfc for that?

JSF Table StyleClass issue for a specific Field inside the Table

Hi There,
Am having an issue of dynamically setting the styleClass for a specific field inside a DataTable. Here is how the JSF code is ..

This Table has a specific column which has a input Text Box where user enter's data. This data will be validated in the bean where in after the validation if its exceeding a limit we should throw an error message and also highlight the field with a specific styleClass.
I am setting the StyleClass dynamically based on the User Input, so that I can display a highlited Error Field on the screen. Strangely enough, styleclass is getting set as expected for the first submit but doesnt show any styles for further submits. Even the existing style is getting removed from the second submit onwards. I am setting this "customStleClass" dynamic parameter as a Bean Property. Am sure these values are properly set coz to make sure I have put an h:output tag inside that table to display the customStyleClass values and they are getting set as expected but I see blank value for the class="" in the source of the Page.
Any help would be appreciated.

One option is you find the data element of that field GUID.
Now go to SE11 transaction and in data type put that data element and press where used list. In that select tables.
This will give you a list of tables where that field is used.
But again if there are lots of them it will be difficult to find.
The only option in that case is debug the extractor and find out.

Now I want to add Repeating table inside a table but when I am doing It I am getting the below error:
"This table can not be converted into repeating table. To fix this problem, add one or more controls to the repeating row and try again,"

I tested the same scenario per your post in my environment, however it worked fine when I inserted a repeating table to the ordinary table in InfoPath form.
How did you modify the SharePoint list form in InfoPath and how did you insert the repeating table?
Based on the error message, it seems like you were converting the ordinary table to repeating table.
To insert a repeating table inside the ordinary table, we can use this Repeating Table button under Home tab in InfoPath Designer.

Test inside the table is truncated when integrating Adobe forms with WD4A

I am facing issue in table when integrating adobe forms with web dynpro for ABAP.
Whenever the pagination happens the text in the table row cells is truncated and it starts from next row in next page. Is there any properrty of table in Form builder which I can use to allow the test to go to the next page?

How to display the tooltip or help-Text on the QBE textbox inside the tables.

I have a requirement like Whenever the user press the QBE button of the panelCollection the text box gets displayed above the columns, now we want to show either helpText over those textboxes. It could be either mouseover or any type of event. Is it possible ?

It's pretty easy. Here's a little example that reads a file, stores it in a string, and prints it to the command line.

How to get the Date format inside the table

I have a startdate column in the db in the format May 5, 2001 12:39:00 PM, when I query it from a view in this way : SELECT startdate, ... FROM ..., it returns the format in the db,
However I have to do this SELECT
decode(startdate, null, 'NOT START'), startdate), ... the result is 5-MAY-01,
then I tried this to_char(startTime, 'Month DD, YYYY HH:MI: A.M.') the results become May 05, 2001 12:39:00 PM. (more space between month and day, and 05 instaed of 5)
Does anybody know how to fix this, so I get exactly what is in the db?

No matter what you do if you are storing a date in a column it will get stored in the Oracle's internal 7 byte date format.
The way you get it on retreiving it is as set by your date format. You can either change the default date format for the instance, the individual session or the individual SQL statement(in this case using to_char(date, 'format')).
If you want to store the date in a format you want to store you'll have to store it as char or varchar2.

When you do to_char() with 'month' oracle blank pads the month to nine characters, the same goes with day too. So to get rid of it you'll have to trim() the month. And if you want to get a single digit for date less than 10 instead of 0x you'll have to do a bit of extra jugglery using translate() or replace().

How to align a String value to the right side inside a table column?

I have a text view inside a table column which is mapped to a string attribute. I need to align the text in the text view to the right hand inside the table column. But its always getting aligned towards the left side. I have tried by setting the <b>hAlign</b> property of Element properties of Text View to <b>right / forced right</b> but still the text is getting aligned to the left side.
How do I align the String values in Text View towards the right hand side inside a Table Column?

Hello Sayan,
if i do get it right, you are adding an TextView element to a Table Cell. Then you should consider setting aligment within the particular cell. By calling:
YourCell.setHorizontalAlignment(CellHAlign.RIGHT)

How to insert record inside the internal table in below code

My requirement is to find the sub-total and need to insert in between the internal table.
You can see the output ....where I want the sub-total F2 when 1 & 2 combindely , 3 , 4& 5 combindely .Please check it and let me know is it possible
when i am using modification it is not creating extra row inside the table instead it is modifying one row and putting the total there.
For ex: the origianl output is
F1   F2       F3
A      1          1
B      1          1
F      2          1
D      3          1
E      4          1
C      5          1
We want to display all the total of f2 of 1-2 , 3 , 4-5
so expcected output is
F1   F2       F3

        *           1 ->this is the sub-total of 3

      *             2 -> this is the sub-total of 4 & 5

But coming output is

*             3 -> it is modifying the F row and inserting the total .Total is comong correct but is shoule insert instead of modifying the record!!
