Hi Mahesh
Thank you for your assistance. I used the S_PLO_86000030 Financial statements international version and it worked. I got the list of all the accounts not assigned. However, i had a question, what does is it mean that the accounts are not assigned? Then what is the procedure to assign the accounts?
Thanks once again.

    1. Take List of all applied Invoices of the Payment
    2. Check the status of those invoices. Each one of them should be in status 'Accounted'
    3. If not,Identify the problem with the Invoice and Clear that. The problem may be Invoice adjustment(adj to Paid invoices allowed).
    4. Try running Create Accounting again.
    5. If the problem persists still, it conveys us that the Transactions were struck in loop and can be resolved only by using UPDATE command.
    6. Contact Oracle for Data fix

  • BCS error: Trial balanc enot equals zero

When I run the task to validate data in BCS, it says "trial balance not equals zero for one company code".
    Any ideas?
    Ravi T

    HI Ravi
    Possibilities are:
    01. Wrongly posting of Transactions accounts in GL a/c of Trial Balance
    02. Wrongly importing the values from external files like...XLs
(Please verify the values of Negative Posting Items if any the each GL head of Trial balance Accounts)
    03. Picking up of Historical Aged Trial Blance figures( uncheck the HATB) options if any, on the same CompanyCode which has been already gerated for that period.
Every GL a/c in Trial Balance account has the-- Type of Accounts(Assets or Liabi), Opening Balance, and current day transactions details (debit or credit value). the summation of opening balance, current day transactions(+/-) must be equal to closing balance of the account on that day.
    just FYI:
In double-entry accounting requires the sum of all debit accounts to equal the sum of all credit accounts, a trial balance is required to verify correctness. The trial balance is a list of accounts and their balances at a point in time. When preparing a trial balance, three steps are needed:
1.You must list each account title and the amount accrued in the trial balance. If an account has a zero balance, just list it with a zero in the normal balance column.
2.Next you must calculate the total amount of the debit balance, as well as, the total credit balance.
3.Last you verify that the total debit balance is equal to the total credit balance.
If the total debit balance and total credit balance are not equal then there must be an error that needs correction. If the credits and debits do appear equal on the trial balance, it still does not guarantee that no errors were made. The main goal of the trial balance sheet is to report whether the account balances are reported in the appropriate debit or credit columns and to allow for future reference of financial statements
Hope this will help you in functioanl aspect.
    Thanks & Regards

    Kind regards'
    Aman

    Hi Aman,
Please check the details of the entries at table level for table LFB1. You can through transaction SE16 for that. There you can find whether any different reconciliation accounts are involved in this.

  • Payables Trial Balance

    Hi,
We are on 11.5.10, we have 2 questions on using XML publisher with AP trial Balance..
    1. Even if we run the report for a specific supplier the text output is only a page, but the XML output is so huge it cannot be save on our desktop... i have seen this issue raised earlier in this forum..but havent got a answer...
    2. We attached a simple template with just the name of the company hardcoded in a rtf file...and tried to run the report.. now it gives an error.. "Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XMLParseException: '=' missing in attribute"...
Any help on these 2 issues would be of great help..Thanks in advance..

  • Mismatch of WIP report total and GL Trial balance

Per requirement, I am expected to see that the "WIP" reported in GL trial balance and the
Total WIP we get from the Report “S_ALR_87013127”  (Path-Easy access-CO- Prod.cost Controlling—cost obj controlling—prod cost by period—info system—Object list)" – matches per plant.
I run the CO43, KKAO, KKS1, CO88 jobs every weekend. I take the spool request from the CO88(Prod settlement) then I  also remove scrap variances for a production orders which error and then run the Variance and Prod settlement(CO88) jobs again.
I still don't see a match yet. What could be the reason?
What can I do to correct the WIP from Period 1, 2008?
    I have period 1 open in OB52.However executed MMPV o February 1(priod 2)?
    Thanks.

suggest to create customize TB report.

  • AP Trial Balance - File is massive and takes a long time to open up

    Hello,
We are upgrading from 11.5.10 to 12.1.3 and are running into some serioud problems with the Accounts Payables Trial Balance report in Detail Mode.
    1. The Report takes upwards of 10 minutes to open up - and in many cases does not.
    2. On further research we see that the report output file is > 500MB whereas comparable 11i Trial Balance files are only 19MB.
    3. We tried running in various formats Text, PDF, HTML with no luck.
    4. In fact HTML and Text formats gave “Authentication failed” errors when we tried to open the report.
    My questions are:
    1. Why is there a such a large increase in file size? Is this expected going to R12?
    2. Is there a way to speed up the opening of the large files or create smaller files? - (summary mode, and smaller date ranges are not options as per business needs). Even a 2 month date range give the same problems.
    3. We noticed that the XLA_TRIAL_BALANCES table has 36,521,125 records...LARGE.
    4. We compared the ap_liability_balance records between 11i and R12. We have 29,171,382 in 11i and 37,769,034 in R12. But this is expected as we purge regularly in 11i production and I don't think this difference (about 30%) in the size of the tables should cause such a large difference in the size of the report files (nearly 2000%!!!).
    5. Why are we getting Authentication failed errors? Just for these reports?
Of course we opened an SR, but you know how SRs go :-) and this is a time critical project with our deadlines nearing.
Any help or pointers from the experts here is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi Hussein,
Thanks for your prompt reply and my apologies for the substantial delay in mine.
We did some trouble shooting since then.
We repolved the problem by choosing a pdf format instead of the seeded RTF format. This opened up the output in a couple of minutes because the pdf formatted output was about 50mb vs the RTF output which was 300MB+.
But the ORIGINAL problem still remains. The xml tagged .out file is still huge with a size of nearly 1gb!
My earlier questions here now boil down to the following questions.
Q1. Is the huge XML Publisher's .out file expected in R12?  It really is massive!  The text file from 11i was just 19MB
Q2. Oracle does not seem to offer the option to format the output in plain text ...We see PDF, RTF but no plain ugly text.  I would expect plain text file to be much smaller.  How can we get the output in plain text?
1.Yes our stats are upto date. Let me emphasize that we do not have a performance problem with the report itself. The issue we are having is opening up the output.
    2. The authentication error is resolved. It was because of formatting the reports incorrectly.
    3. We did not use the usual tuning procedures such as tkprof because we do not have a performance problem.
    4. We checked the OPP file and there are none. I reiterate, The report does complete without issues. It is just that the output takes a long time to open up in the RTF
I will appreciate if others  can share any experiences if you have faced this situation and how you have handled it.
Thanks in advance for your time!

  • Trial Balance displayed in GL Account currency

    Dear experts,
I am working with a client implementing an SAP All-in-one Best Practice UAE version.
The Client asks to have a Trial Balance of the GL accounts with 3 currencies view.
    1st view column:  Account Currency
    2nd view column: Local Currency
    3rd view column: Group Currency
I tried the T.Code: S_PLO_86000030 ... and when i tried to put the currency type (80) -- which is the ledger currency and which is what the client asked for ...However the system is not allowing me to do so and generating an error msg "Enter a correct currency type:
                                     --  Message no. GH102
Diagnoses       -- You want to see data for a currency type that is not kept in the ledger concerned.
Sys. Response       -- The program cannot be run.
Procedure      -- Check your entries for the currency type and ledger. Also check the valuation (legal, management,
corporate group) of this ledger in Customizing.
And i am only able to choose from the currency types: 10 -- Company code currency
                                                                                    30 -- Group currency
So can anyone advise me and help me in this issue ????
    Your reply is well appreciated.
For more info. and additional explanation plz let me know.
    Nabil Fares

the currencies r found there as 1st currency Local Currency LBP and 2nd currency: group currency USD for all company codes in the parent. T.code OB22 .. they are found ... there is still the 3rd currency empty or available .. but yhe ledger currency that i want in the report which is Currency code 80 is not found from the report of the Account Balances using the T.code S_PL0_86000030 - G/L Account Balances (New)
I want the report to generate the balance in the Account Currencies and not in ( 10 - Local currency or 30 - group currency ). using the T.code OB22 i only have the options (10,30,40,50,60 --- Company code currency, Group Cur, Hard cur, Index based cur. and global company cur .. respectively) ... So how can i got the result of my Balance in the Account currency which is Ledger currency type 80 ???

  • Cancelled invoices still appearing in AP Trial Balance report

    Hi,

  • AP Invoice Aging Report by GL Date (using: Accounts Payable Trial Balance)

    Hi
    Need some suggestions:
I need to develop a custom report in (R12).
Account Payable Trial Balance Report, does have the capability to run as of a particular date but it does not show aging buckets. This custom report is to be developed to meet the requirements from a Payables detail perspective as well as to reconcile.
The report should show the balance due as of the report date selected. If As of Date = 5/31/11, then when the report is run on 6/15/11, it gives the results as it existed on 5/31/11. If we run it again on 8/31/11 for As of Date = 5/31/11, and again on 1/13/12, we get the EXACT SAME results each and every time except for the following fields: Current Status, Date Paid and Payment Reference Number.
The end result should be this report ties to the penny to Oracle GL as of the date selected EXCEPT for any JEs posted to the account.
    Thanks
    Pravin

    Hi Pravin,
For all transactions in Oracle, you will have GL dates (Accounting Dates) associated to it. If you use this date in your query to filter data, then you will get correct aging data as on a given date.
To tally with GL, you also must check if the selected transaction has been accounted?

  • AP Trial Balance Report Issue

Hi gurus- I run the AP Trial Balance report and have an issue that I cannot reconcile with my raw data because when I export into excel, the invoice number is cut off after 20 characters.  This client has long invoice numbers.  Is there any way to get the SQL for this report and run it separately so I may see the invoice numbers and reconcile?  Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
Please check note:553484.1, there are some queries provided to check the TB data like queries to compare XLA and GL data.

  • AP Trial Balance Report Query

Hi - We use the AP Trial Balance Report as a supporting schedule to reconcile our General Ledger AP Creditor Control Account against.
Ordinarily we would use the total remaining amount at the end of the report (which has historically balanced to the GL).
The value in the remaining amount column has always equalled the value in the amount column.
However, during P12 when we have generated the report we have identified several transactions that have an amount appearing in the 'remaining amount' column but no corresponding entry in the 'amount' column.
We're not sure what the 2 column represent and why this would be the case.
Consequently by using the 'Remaining Amount' total and comparing it to the GL balance we are out by the amounts that are only appearing on one side of the AP Trial Balance.
I've looked at the accounting postings on the AP for some of the particualr records and can see that there is a debit and credit posting to expenditure that net off and and also a debit and credit posting to the AP Creditor Control Account that also net off
Can anyone provide us with an explantion please?
