Trigger a mail

Hi
can I trigger a mail to Personnel Administrator basd on the validity period of the Infotype record? If any employee takes leave type "uninformed absence" for more than 3 days i need to intimate personnel administrator about the same? How can achieve this requirement? any helps please.

Hi Chandra,
You can implement "Monitoring of tasks" infotype, construct a dynamic action for automatic creation of this IT0019 when uninformed absence record is created and then write a custom report that runs every night and checks IT0019 dates and send mail to respective personnel administrator.

Right now i am doing File to RFC, its working fine but now the requirement is when xi connect to ftp and picks the file need to send one success mail after the file pickup and data sent to BW system again i need to send one mail and also error alerts to inbox.
Till now i am not using BPM, can we do this without BPM pls let me know
now i am trying to achieve this in File to RFC, and through RFC response i am trying to trigger the Mail adapter.
or else i need use only BPM pls share the steps which i need to be configure.

Cant you use operating system command option ?
Like,,,, checking whether the particular file exists, if not create a blank file or new file with a different predefined content using Operating System Command option (using scripts or soemthing). and creating a separate file-mail scenario for this new file

You can try using workflow transaction SBWP.
you need to create a distibution list in the above transaction and add the requested mail ids to it.
then when you create a jon using transaction SM37 you have the option SPOOL LIST RECIPIENT where you can add the created distibution list
so when ever the job has run sucessfully then a mail is sent to all the mail id's in the list.

You need to maintain the email address in SU01 for the particular user Id. Also you need to configure transaction SCOT for this.

CS02 - trigger a mail after saving

Dear Sapians,
I come through a requirement in which , i have to trigger a mail to authorized user with detail of changes done in CS02 by unauthorized user.
I got a BADI 'BOM_UPDATE' 'CHANGE_AT_SAVE'.
And as per my understanding change detail are in table CDHDR and CDPOS.
And in above table data is loaded after CS02 is saved.
So, no detail of recent changes done is reflected in CDHDR and CDPOS .
So, I am looking for some USER-EXITS or BADI , which help me out in this scenario.
Scenario is :--
a).
When changes are done in CS02 by some UNAUTHORIZED USER, changes has to be verified by AUTHORIZED USER, so change detail has to be send to AUTHORIZED USER.

Sorry for not discussing the whole scenario.
Actually , If some unauthorized user gas done some changes in CS02 than BOM Status is to be '2',
so mail is needed to ask authorized user permission to set BOM status '1'.
But in the same time , authorized wanna know what changes are done. and changes are recorded in cdhdr and cdpos tables which is updated after after bom is saved not in between.
That why mail is needed.

Any changes in the condition value then system should trigger a mail.

In that case again you can use MV45AFZZ program and USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP. If this exit didnt work you can try in other save or prepare to save exits in this same program. For order statuses and authorization you can use status profile and control authorization through an authorization object. For email use email sending function and users will receive an email whenever some specific condition value is changed.
This will be ABAP coding in above mentioned program using implicit enhancement. There is no standard solution for this and you have to go for customization.

U have to take the help of your ABAPr he will write a program which will schedule every day in specific time that program will compare the expiry of probation date with system date and if it is one day less then mail will trigger.

Please check this..
1) goto so13 tcode and click on Automatic forwarding tab ,
2) click on create icon ,
3) Enter your id in provided Forward to text box ,
4) specify it as External address ,
5) Click on enter
Now work item or mail would come to the id you had specified...
after that execute your workflow and check in your outlook inbox

For which type of business functionality you want to send automatic mails.
After the batch job finish you can set the automatic mail in transaction SM36.
in the user defination you have to do the settings related to automatic mail of SAP office mail.
If you are using SCM then try to use SCM's event management.
Most of the places Work flow used to send the automatic mails as per the business event happens.

I'm trying to do something I thought would be simple ... but I can't figure it out.
My goal is to get specific messages from one mailbox and put them into my Inbox. I've used a rule with a MailTags deadline to get the messages into the box, and I have created a rule to move mail with a deadline of today or earlier back to the Inbox. I would like to automatically apply the "move to inbox" rule to the contents of the other mailbox, so I can have iCal move my messages every morning.
I am not very good at scripting, and I can't figure out how to write a script to apply the move to inbox rule to every message in the other mailbox. Can someone help me or point the way to a script that I can adapt? Everything I've found works the other way (using a rule to call a script — I want a script to call a rule).
Or, is there a better, easier way to do this? It is important that the process can be set to run automatically. This whole thing is to get messages that are "on hold" out of my inbox until the time when I can deal with them. If they don't come back automatically, I'll forget about them.
I did try using a SmartFolder — but creating a SmartFolder that works off MailTags rules makes my system slow to a crawl, and the badge counts are all off.

My requirement is , I need to send an E-mail to differant receipents based on status.
To be more elobarative , on an user status in CRMD_ORDER i need to send e-mail to Branch Manager of that particular sales office .
I need to send the document number.
I knew few badis in CRM , which ofocurse i have not tried coz if there is anyway directly by work flow , I would like to go for that.
If not , can i submit a report which generated e-mail from CRM_ORDERADM_h_badi or order_save .

You need to have branch manager as the one of the partner function of your transaction type.(assign the partner function to your partner determination procedure of your trasaction )
In your action details you maintain the partner function as partner dependant and give the new partnerfunction (ie branch manager)
For the action you maitain the processing types as smartform mail and give your smartform name, processing class and processing method.
Go to conditions open your action profile and activate the new action created.
Give the start condition as status equals to your new status on which you want to send the email.
To get the document number on the email you need to do coding in the smart form which is assigned to your action.
